Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang dikembangkan melalui program asistensi mengajar dalam kerangka Kurikulum Merdeka di SD Taman Siswa Medan Selayang. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan dari laporan reflektif lima mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas Medan yang terlibat dalam kegiatan asistensi mengajar selama empat bulan. Fokus penelitian meliputi perencanaan, implementasi, dan dampak strategi pembelajaran inovatif, seperti penggunaan modul ajar, pembelajaran berbasis teknologi, dan aktivitas luar kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu merancang dan mengimplementasikan pembelajaran yang aktif, kreatif, dan menyenangkan (PAIKEM), memanfaatkan media digital dalam menyampaikan materi, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang adaptif terhadap karakteristik siswa sekolah dasar. Selain itu, kolaborasi antara mahasiswa, guru pamong, dan siswa berhasil menciptakan dinamika pembelajaran yang inspiratif dan mendukung penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila. Program ini juga mendorong pengembangan keterampilan pedagogik, empati sosial, serta kecakapan profesional mahasiswa sebagai calon guru. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan sistem pendampingan dan monitoring untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program asistensi mengajar sebagai wahana pembentukan pendidik masa depan yang unggul dan inovatif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Make A Match type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in Mathematics subjects on measuring and comparing angles in class VA of Budi Murni 2 Medan Private Catholic Elementary School in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The Independent Variable in this study is the Make A Match type Cooperative Learning Model (X) and the Dependent Variable in this study is Student Learning Outcomes (Y). The research method used is Quantitative Pre-Experiment Type, the population of this study was all fifth grade students of Budi Murni 2 Medan Private Catholic Elementary School, totaling 4 classes. Sampling using Probability Sampling Type Simple Random Sampling with a sample of all VA class students of Budi Murni 2 Medan Private Catholic Elementary School totaling 36 students. To determine the initial abilities of students, the researcher conducted a Pretest with an average value of 59.25 in the incomplete category. After the researcher used the Make A Match type Cooperative Learning Model, it showed that student learning outcomes increased in the Posttest with an average value of 76.42 in the complete category. The success rate of student learning outcomes has increased as evidenced by the results of the Correlation Test calculation obtained of 0.603, which means that rcount (0.603) > rtable (0.329). Furthermore, the Hypothesis test (t-test) where tcount > ttable is (4.404) > (2.035) so that it can be stated that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This shows that there is a significant influence of the use of the Make A Match type Cooperative Learning Model on the Mathematics learning outcomes of students in the material "Measuring and Comparing Angles" of class V of Budi Murni 2 Catholic Private Elementary School, Medan, Academic Year 2024/2025.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Picture and Picture type cooperative learning model assisted by Wordwall media on student learning outcomes in the subject of IPA class IV at UPT SPF SDN 101826 Tuntungan in the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The background of this study is based on the low learning outcomes of students caused by the use of conventional learning methods that do not involve student activity. The method used is quantitative research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was 26 fourth grade students. The information collection technique was carried out through tests and questionnaires. The results of the analysis showed that there was a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the Picture and Picture cooperative model assisted by Wordwall. This is evidenced by the average posttest score of 83.58 which is higher with a very good category compared to the pretest of 51.84 with a less category. It can be said that the level of success of student learning outcomes has increased with the results of the correlation coefficient test calculation obtained r_count ≥r_tabel with a result of 0.875≥ 0.388. then hypothesis testing compares the value of obtained the t_count ≥t table with results of 8.857 while t_table = 1.706 because Because t_count ≥t_table (8.857 ≥ 1.706) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the cooperative learning model of the picture and picture type assisted by wordwall media (X) on student learning outcomes (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model on students' learning outcomes in the IPAS (Integrated Science and Social Studies) subject for Grade V at UPT SPF SDN 101826 Tuntungan in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employed an experimental method with a quantitative research approach. To collect the necessary data, a test instrument consisting of 40 questions was used. The sample consisted of 25 students selected using a saturated sampling technique. To assess the students' initial abilities, a pre-test was administered, resulting in an average score of 42.64, which falls into the "low" category. The post-test results showed a significant improvement, with the average score increasing to 84.16, classified as "good." This indicates that stujdents' learning outcomes improved, as evidenced by the correlation coefficient test results, where r count ≥ r table (0.864 ≥ 0.396). Furthermore, hypothesis testing was conducted by comparing t count with t table. The results showed that t count = 8.215 and t table = 2.064. Since t count ≥ t table (8.215 ≥ 2.064), the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Based on the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant and positive effect of the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model (X) on students’ learning outcomes (Y).

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research method with an experimental research type. This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Question Card media on students' critical thinking skills in the IPAS subject of grade IV at SD Negeri 066049 Medan Helvetia. The research subjects consisted of 34 fourth-grade students from the same school. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and multiple-choice test items. The students' critical thinking skills showed an average pretest score of 57.06, and after the treatment using the Problem Based Learning model, the average posttest score increased to 82.35. The results indicate a strong influence of variable X on variable Y, with a correlation coefficient of 0.699. Given that the r_table value is 0.339, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Furthermore, hypothesis testing showed that the t_count was 24,070 while the t_table was 1.691, proving that the hypothesis is significant, thus the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. This demonstrates that the Problem Based Learning model assisted by Question Card media has a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study analyzes the habituation and role modeling strategies employed by teachers to instill character values at SD Budi Murni 1 Medan. The habituation strategies encompass reinforcing religious values, discipline, responsibility, environmental care, and honesty through structured and consistent daily routines and activities. Teachers not only teach character values theoretically but also exemplify them as living models for students to observe and emulate. Teacher role modeling, both in daily behavior and consistency between words and actions, plays a crucial role in shaping students' character. The results show that the combination of habituation strategies and teacher role modeling effectively cultivates religious, disciplined, responsible, environmentally conscious, and honest character traits among students. This approach educates not only through instruction but also holistically internalizes character values into students’ everyday lives.

Abstract

This study evaluates the practicality of a Realistic Mathematics Education model integrated with Batak Toba cultural elements to develop Higher-Order Thinking Skills among pre-service elementary school teachers. Using a Research and Development (R&D) design based on Plomp’s three-phase model, the research involved preliminary investigation, design and development, and evaluation. The model was validated through expert judgment, pilot testing, and classroom trials. Practicality was assessed using indicators of implementation, ease of use, student engagement, and practitioner acceptance. Results from two trials showed significant improvements: implementation increased from 3.2 to 4.5, lecturer ease from 3.1 to 4.4, student engagement from 3.0 to 4.3, and practitioner acceptance from 3.3 to 4.6 (scale 1–5). Students’ HOTS improved from a moderate category (0.63) in the first trial to a high category (0.85) in the second. These findings indicate that the Batak Toba culture-based RME model is practical, culturally relevant, and pedagogically effective, with strong potential for integration into teacher education programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas metode pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam meningkatkan interaksi sosial anak hiperaktif di kelas 2 SD Budi Murni 6. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 30 siswa, termasuk 10 anak yang teridentifikasi sebagai hiperaktif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan kuesioner sebelum dan sesudah penerapan metode pembelajaran kolaboratif selama enam minggu.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam perilaku interaksi sosial anak-anak. Observasi awal mencatat bahwa hanya sekitar 30% anak hiperaktif yang aktif berpartisipasi dalam diskusi kelompok, sedangkan setelah penerapan metode kolaboratif, angka tersebut meningkat menjadi 70%. Skor rata-rata interaksi sosial yang diperoleh dari kuesioner juga meningkat dari 12 menjadi 24, menunjukkan perbaikan yang substansial. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji t menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah intervensi dengan nilai p < 0,05.Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran kolaboratif dapat meningkatkan interaksi sosial anak-anak hiperaktif secara efektif. Lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, serta peran guru sebagai fasilitator, menjadi faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan metode ini .Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi pendidik untuk mengimplementasikan metode kolaboratif di kelas, serta menyoroti perlunya studi lebih lanjut untuk mengevaluasi dampak jangka panjang dari metode ini.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya perbedan saat menggunakan media pembelajaran atau tidak menggunakan media pembelajaran di SDS St Antonius V Medan. Seperti pengalaman yang di alami oleh penulis, yang dimana pada saat melakukan pembelajaran, penulis hanya menggunakan media yang ada saja yaitu buku ajar, peserta didik sulit untuk memahami materi yang di ajarkan oleh guru. Kemudian ketika guru menggunakan media pembelajaran, yaitu media berbasis teknologi dengan menggunakan proyektor dan laptop , lalu guru memutar video pembelajaran mengenai pengamalan sila-sila pancasila , kemudian peserta didik mudah sekali memahami pembelajaran tersebut. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan ketika penulis sedang melakukan magang 3 di sekolah SDS St Antonius V Medan . Media pembelajaran memang sangat bermanfaat sekali untuk di terapkan pada peserta didik, selain membantu guru untuk menyampaikan pembelajaran, juga mempermudah peserta didik untuk memahami tentang pembelajaran tersebut.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of class III students. This research method is descriptive quantitative. The research population was class III students at State Elementary Schools in Hamparan Perak, totaling 86 students. Sampling was taken using random sampling and 30 students were used in class III at SD Negeri 101743. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes are in the very good category with 78.2. By testing the correlation, it can be seen that the correlation coefficient is rcount (0.845) ≥ rtable (0.361), so ha is accepted. There is an influence of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative model on the learning outcomes of class III students at SD Negeri 101743 Hamparan Perak. It can also be seen from the t-test where tcount ≥ ttable, namely 8.458 ≥ 2.042, thus stating that ha is accepted. This shows that there is a significant positive influence from the use of the Jigsaw Type Cooperative model on the learning outcomes of class III students at SD Negeri 101743 Hamparan Perak for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
