Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembelajaran abad 21 menuntut guru untuk mampu berinovasi dalam menyajikan materi melalui media pembelajaran yang kreatif, menarik, dan berbasis teknologi digital. Namun, kenyataannya masih banyak guru yang menghadapi keterbatasan dalam menguasai aplikasi desain digital untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran. SMK Swasta Al-Azis di Kabupaten Labuhanbatu merupakan salah satu sekolah yang mengalami kendala serupa, di mana sebagian besar guru masih menggunakan media konvensional yang kurang interaktif. Menjawab permasalahan tersebut, tim pengabdian melaksanakan kegiatan pelatihan media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi Canva dengan tujuan meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam mendesain media digital. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh 30 orang guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran, dilaksanakan selama dua hari tatap muka intensif dengan tambahan pendampingan daring. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi ceramah interaktif, demonstrasi, praktik langsung, diskusi, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan keterampilan guru, ditandai dengan rata-rata peningkatan skor pasca pelatihan sebesar 65% dan kemampuan menghasilkan media pembelajaran berupa poster, infografis, modul digital, dan presentasi interaktif. Guru merasa lebih percaya diri menggunakan Canva, sementara uji coba di kelas memperlihatkan bahwa siswa lebih termotivasi dan aktif dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan Canva efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi digital guru serta kualitas pembelajaran, sekaligus mendukung agenda transformasi pendidikan berbasis teknologi di era digital.

Abstract

This study investigated the interactive effects of palm kernel cake (PKC) inclusion levels (10 and 20%) and enzyme supplementation (NSPase, protease, and mannanase) on the growth performance and nutrient efficiency of broiler chickens. A total of 720 male broilers were randomly assigned to four dietary treatments and 6 replicates per treatment with each treatment consisting of 30 chickens for 28 days in a completely randomized design. The parameters measured included feed intake, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio (FCR), energy and protein intake, and their respective efficiencies (Protein Efficiency Ratio (PER) and Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER)). Results showed that broilers fed diets with 10% PKC—both with and without enzyme supplementation—achieved significantly better final body weight, average daily gain (ADG), FCR, EER, and PER than those fed 20% PKC (P<0.05). Notably, enzyme supplementation improved nutrient utilization only at the 10% PKC level, while the 20% PKC inclusion led to reduced digestibility and performance, regardless of enzyme use (P<0.05). Feed, energy, and protein intake were not significantly different across treatments, indicating that variations in growth were primarily due to nutrient utilization efficiency (P>0.05). These findings suggest that a 10% PKC inclusion with or without enzymes optimizes broiler performance, while higher PKC levels may negate enzyme benefits due to increased fibre content.

Abstract

Background: Groundhandling workers are workers who are exposed to heat for quite a long time. A work environment that exceeds tolerance limits can cause health problems such as dehydration and fatigue. Lestari (2016) in his research stated that a hot work environment that exceeds the Threshold Limit Value (TLV) can increase the risk of dehydration. Purpose: This research focuses on fatigue and the risk factors of fatigue, especially those caused by dehydration, without disregarding other risk factors among ground handling workers at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. Method: The method used in this research is an observational analytic approach with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique employed random sampling with a sample size of 219 respondents consisting of ground handling workers working both inside buildings and on the apron. The measuring instruments used were specific gravity urine tests to determine hydration status and IFRC questionnaires to assess workers' physical fatigue status. Result: From the existing data it was found that the majority of respondenst experienced mild fatigue, namely 36,5% of the 219 respondents and others experienced severe fatigue 63,5%. With hydration status, most workers have good hydration status (euhydration), namely 70,3% and and some others experienced dehydration, namely 29,7%. The result of the analysis between hydration status and level fatigue showed 35,4% of respondents who werw dehydrated experienced severe fatigue, while 37% of respondents who were euhydrated/normohydrated experirienced severe fatgue. The results of the analysis test obtained was no relationship between hydratin status and fatigue level. The OR (Odd Ratio) shows a result or 0,932 meaning that respondents withs dehyration are protective factor of 0,93 times agains severe fatigue. Conclusion: The conclusion of this research is that good hydraton status can prevent fatigue in workers, especially those who work with direct heat exposure.

Abstract

Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi yaitu dalam prinsip akad Al qordhul Hasan, menggunakan prinsip kerelaan atau keikhlasan, yang dapat berepengafih dalam proses kedepannya juga berpengaruh akan profit yang akan didapatkan oleh lbaga. Dalam pengabdian ini menggunakan metode penjajakan kepada mitr, serta melakukan pengamatan untuk menemukan strategi yang aas agar profit yang akan didapatkam stbil, dan memberikan pengertian terhadap mitra. Hasil dari pengabdian ini kan menambah wawasan kepada mitra dam Masyarakat luas tentang berbagaiacam prinsip yang terkandung dalam akad qordhul Hasan.  Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif dan kolaboratif serta pendekatan pembelajaran yang aktif dan berbasis masalah dapat meningkatkan pemahaman akan keharusan bagi setiap mitra

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan fondasi utama dalam membangun masyarakat yang berkelanjutan, sekaligus menjadi sarana penting untuk mencetak generasi yang kompeten, adaptif, dan inovatif. Perguruan tinggi melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat memiliki peran strategis dalam mentransformasikan hasil penelitian dan ilmu pengetahuan menjadi solusi nyata bagi berbagai permasalahan sosial, khususnya di bidang pendidikan. Dalam proses ini, kepemimpinan transformasional memegang peranan penting sebagai penggerak perubahan positif. Pemimpin yang visioner dan inspiratif mampu memotivasi civitas akademika, guru, siswa, serta masyarakat untuk bekerja sama dalam merancang inovasi pendidikan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan lokal, responsif terhadap dinamika sosial, teknologi, dan perkembangan global. Beberapa upaya yang dilakukan antara lain penguatan kurikulum, peningkatan kompetensi tenaga pendidik, integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran, pemberdayaan literasi digital, serta penyediaan program pelatihan berkelanjutan bagi komunitas. Hasil dari program pengabdian ini menegaskan pentingnya sinergi antara sekolah, keluarga, dan masyarakat agar tercipta pendidikan anak yang optimal, kreatif, inovatif, dan berkelanjutan, sekaligus memperkuat kapasitas komunitas dalam menghadapi tantangan global secara lebih efektif.

Abstract

This learning aimed to train the information-processing skills of 8th-grade junior high school students on the topic of vibrations and waves through the implementation of the guided inquiry model. The main problem encountered was the low ability of students to process information, indicated by their tendency to focus only on the final results without understanding the process, as well as the emergence of irrelevant questions during the lesson. The activity was carried out in three lesson study stages: Plan, Do, and See. The inquiry model was implemented with the teacher acting as a facilitator guiding the processes of exploration, investigation, and reflection. The results showed an improvement in students' information-processing abilities, with achievements in the aspects of analysis (77%), inference (70%), and evaluation (81%). This learning has proven to be effective in training critical thinking skills through a guided inquiry approach. In conclusion, the implementation of inquiry-based learning within the framework of lesson study can be a meaningful strategy to improve students' ability to process information. For future implementation, it is recommended that time management in learning be more emphasized, the model teacher provide more active assistance especially during experimental activities, and further testing of the question instruments on wave material be conducted to obtain stronger and more comprehensive data.

Abstract

Organisasi Santri (Organtri) berperan sentral dalam mendukung tata kelola kegiatan dan layanan santri di pondok pesantren. Kualitas layanan ini mencakup bagaimana Organtri mengelola konflik, merancang kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, hingga memediasi kebutuhan santri dengan pimpinan pondok. Namun hasil observasi menunjukkan lemahnya kreativitas pengurus, kurangnya inovasi program, serta belum terbangunnya budaya Learning Organization (LO), yang menyebabkan terjadinya pengulangan kesalahan antarperiode kepengurusan. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan meningkatkan kreativitas, kemampuan berpikir sistemik, serta kualitas layanan Organtri melalui model pelatihan berbasis LO yang mengintegrasikan teori lima disiplin Senge. Metode pelaksanaan PKM Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui workshop, simulasi, studi kasus, FGD, observasi lapangan, serta pendampingan bagi 24 santri kelas X–XI. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan berpikir kreatif, pembentukan visi bersama, team learning, dan pemecahan masalah menggunakan System Thinking. Program menghasilkan Knowledge Transfer Protocol untuk keberlanjutan organisasi.

Abstract

Pembangunan perumahan telah menyumbang emisi gas rumah kaca khususnya gas CO2 dalam jumlah yang cukup besar. Emisi CO2 yang ditimbulkan secara langsung maupun tidak langsung antara lain berasal dari energi yang digunakan untuk berbagai aktivitas yang dapat dikelompokan dalam aktivitas domestik, transportasi, limbah padat dan cair dan bahan bangunan untuk hunian dan sarana dan prasarana lingkungan. Perubahan alih fungsi lahan juga berpengaruh terhadap timbulan gas CO2. Pepohonan, kawasan hijau  dan badan air berfungsi negatif terhadap CO2 karena berfungsi sebagai zink gas tersebut. Pengembangan rumah melebihi Koefisien Dasar Bangunan (KDB) menurunkan kenyamanan lingkungan dan meningkatkan emisi CO2. Tulisan ini membahas jumlah emisi CO2 yang ditimbulkan oleh pembangunan suatu lingkungan perumahan perkotaan. Metoda analisis deskriptif dan eksploratif digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penentu emisi CO2. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa makin banyak rumah yang dikembangkan makin banyak gas yang teremisikan. Emisi gas CO2 terbesar berasal dari energi listrik yang digunakan untuk kegiatan domestik. Kenyamanan lingkungan perumahan akan dicapai apabila dapat terjadi keseimbangan antara gas yang timbul dan daya serap lingkungan. Salah satu usaha penurunan emisi CO2 dapat dilakukan melalui perencanaan dan perancangan bangunan dan kawasan.

Abstract

Introduction: Dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF) remains a critical public health challenge in Surabaya, Indonesia. Despite intensive efforts, standardized measures for assessing community involvement in DHF control are lacking. This study addresses the gap by developing a Community Participation Index (CPI) that encompasses 3M Plus actions (drain, cover, recycle water containers plusother preventive actions), opportunities, and collective action at the household level, providing a comprehensive, quantitative tool to evaluate and guide intervention strategies. Methods: An analytical observational case-control design was conducted, involving 1,880 households, selected through stratified random sampling from 47 health centers across diverse epidemiological and demographic zones. Data collection included structured questionnaires, household interviews, and direct observation, with validity and reliability ensured by Cronbach alpha 0.74 and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The “One House One Jumantik” program, introduced nationally since 2016 and locally in Surabaya since 2017, served as a focal intervention to increase active community monitoring and participation. Results and Discussion: The CPI model demonstrated satisfactory fit (CFI 0.92, RMSEA 0.06), with opportunity and collective action recognized as the strongest contributors. The implementation of “One House One Jumantik” correlated with increased engagement and improved 3M Plus practices, resulting in lower DHF incidence. Biases related to sampling and self-reporting weremitigated through careful design and data triangulation. Conclusion: The CPI offers significant practical value for DHF surveillance, targeted interventions, and policy formulation. Strengthening ongoing education, improving access, and adapting programs to local contexts are essential for bridging gaps between awareness and sustainable action.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership style, organizational culture, and discipline on the performance of PAUD teachers in Gunung Sindur District. Teacher performance is a key factor in improving the quality of education, which is influenced by leadership aspects, organizational values, and the level of discipline in carrying out professional duties and responsibilities. The research approach used is quantitative with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to teacher respondents. The sampling technique used the Slovin formula, so that a representative number of respondents were obtained. Data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS software. The results of the analysis indicate that transformational leadership style has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Organizational culture is also proven to have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. In addition, discipline has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance. Simultaneously, transformational leadership style, organizational culture, and discipline are able to explain variations in teacher performance significantly. These findings indicate that improving teacher performance can be achieved through the implementation of effective transformational leadership, strengthening a conducive organizational culture, and improving work discipline. This research is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of educational management studies and practical contributions for school leaders in formulating policies and strategies for improving teacher performance.
