This research aimed to investigate whether cooperative learning model of three-step interview type can increase students’ mathematical communication skill. This research design was pretest-posttest control design. This research population was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 1 Gadingrejo in academic year of 2013/2014 that was distributed into 10 classes. This research samples were students of VIII.1 and VIII.2 class who were taken by purposive sampling technique. Based on data analysis, it was found that students’ mathematical communication skill who followed cooperative learning model of three-step interview type was higher than direct learning model. Thus, it can be concluded that cooperative learning model of three-step interview type can increase students’ mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe three-step interview dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Gadingrejo tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 yang terdistribusi ke dalam 10 kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII.1 dan VIII.2 yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe three-step interview lebih tinggi daripada model pembelajaran langsung. This research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem based learning model in improving students mathematical communication skill. The population of this research was all students of grade 8th of SMPN 1 Pringsewu in academic year of 2014/2015 that was distributed into 6 classes. The sample of this research was determined by purposive random sampling technique and it was selected students of VIII.1 class as sample. This research used one group pretest posttest design. Based on the analysis of data, it was concluded that problem based learning model was not effective to improve students mathematical communication skill.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Pringsewu semester genap tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 yang terdistribusi dalam enam kelas. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik purposive random sampling dan terpilih siswa kelas VIII.1 sebagai sampel. Penelitian ini menggunakan one group pretest posttest design. This experimental research aimed to analyzed the effect of guided discovery learning model toward student’s mathematical representation skill. The population of this research was the eighth grade student of SMP Muhammadiah 3 Bandarlampung in academic year 2018/2019 as many as 211 students that were distributed into seven classes. Samples of this research were the student of class VIII C consist of 3 students  and VIII E consist of 31 students that were selected through purposive sampling technique. The design of this research was pretest-posttest control grup design. Data analysis in this research used t’-test and proportion test with α = 0,05. Based on the research result, that student’s matematical representation skill who followed the guided discovery learning model was higher than students who followed the non-guided discovery learning model. Thus, the guided discovery learning model affect student's mathematical representation skill. Keywords: effect, guided discovery learning, mathematical representation skill  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model guided discovery learning terhadap kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiah 3 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2018/2019 sebanyak 211 siswa yang terdistribusi dalam tujuh kelas. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII C sebanyak 31 siswa dan VIII E sebanyak 31 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji t dengan taraf signifikan  α = 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan, diperoleh informasi bahwa kemampuan representasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti model guided discovery learning lebih tinggi dari siswa yang mengikuti model non-guided discovery learning. This quasi experimental research aimed to find out the implementation of discovery learning to improvestudent’s mathematical concept comprehension. The population in this research is the entire class VIII students of SMP Tri Sukses Natar years lessons 2017/2018 distributed in 4 class. The sample of this research was a Class VIII-C and VIII-D are chosen by purposive sampling technique. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group design. Research data obtained through mathematical concept understanding ability test students. Statistical tests are used namely test . Based on the results and working through of research, the conclusion of the research is implementation of discovery learning model can improve to student’s mathematical concept comprehension. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman konsep dengan diimplementasikan model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis peserta didik. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Tri Sukses Natar tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdistribusi dalam 4 kelas. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII-C dan VIII-D yang dipilih dengan  teknik purposive sampling. Design penelitian yang digunakan adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Uji statistik yang digunakan yaitu uji . Think Pair Share is one of cooperative learning model that giving student enough time to think, answer, and help each other. This was a quasi experimental research which aimed to know the effectivity of Think Pair Share (TPS) model viewed by study mathematics result of student. Samples were students of VII A and VII B class that was determined by purposive sampling technique. Post-test only was used in this research. The result of this research showed that cooperative learning model-TPS type was effective in mathematics learning viewed by study mathematic result in seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 21 Bandarlampung even semester in academic year 2012/2013.Think Pair Share (TPS) merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran kooperatif yang memberikan siswa cukup banyak waktu untuk berfikir, merespon dan saling membantu satu sama lain.  Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS ditinjau dari hasil belajar matematika siswa. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII A dan VII B yang diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan post-test only. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS efektif jika diterapkan pada pembelajaran matematika ditinjau dari hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 21 Bandarlampung tahun pelajaran 2012/2013.Kata kunci: efektivitas,  hasil belajar, TPS

This quasi research aimed to find out the effectiveness of cooperative learning model of modified jigsaw type in terms of students mathematical problem solving skills. The population of this research was all students of grade VII in SMP Negeri 1 Sukoharjo in academic year of 2016/2017 that were distributed into nine classes. The sample was selected one class randomly from nine classes and all students of VII B class were selected. The design which was used was one group pretest-posttest. The analysis data used t-test. The research data were obtained through the test of mathematical problem solving skills. The result of this research indicated that students mathematical problem solving skill after following cooperative learning of modified jigsaw type was not better than student's mathematical problem solving skill before following cooperative learning of modified jigsaw type. Thus, cooperative learning model of modified jigsaw type was not effective in terms of students mathematical problem solving skills.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe modified jigsaw ditinjau dari kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII semester genap SMP Negeri 1 Sukoharjo tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 yang terdistribusi dalam sembilan kelas. Sampel dipilih satu kelas secara acak dari sembilan kelas dan seluruh siswa kelas VII B terpilih. Desain yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa setelah mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipemodified jigsaw tidak lebih baik daripada kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sebelum mengikuti pembelajaran kooperatif tipe modified jigsaw. This research aimed to find out the influence of cooperative learning of STAD toward student’s understanding of mathematical concept. This research was quasi experiment with posttest control design. The research population was the whole of 7th grade student in first semester of SMPN 8 Bandar Lampung, with two classes as a sample of the research which was taken by using the purposive sampling technique. Research instrument was concept comprehension test and data analysis technique by using t-test. This quasi experimental research aimed to know the influence of cooperative learning model of group investigation type towards students conceptual understanding of mathematics. The population of this research was all students of grade seventh of SMP Negeri 1 Semaka in academic year of 2014/2015 and the samples of this research were students of VII-C and VII-D that were determined by cluster random sampling technique. This research design was posttest only control group. The data of students conceptual understanding of mathematics were taken by test. The conclusion of this research was cooperative learning model of group investigation type affects students conceptual understanding of mathematics. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group investigation (GI) terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Semaka tahun pelajaran 2014/2015 dan sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-C dan VII-D yang ditentukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah posttest only control group. Data pemahaman konsep matematis siswa diperoleh melalui tes. The research data were obtained by the essays test of  mathematical problem solving skill. Analysis data of the research using non parametric test that is Mann-Whitney U test. Based on the research results and discussion, it was concluded that discovery learning affects the student's mathematical problem solving skill.Penelitian eksperimen semu ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh discovery learning terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2017/2018 yang terdistribusi dalam sebelas kelas. Sampel dari penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII-A dan VIII-B yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Desain penelitian ini adalah pretest-posttest control group design. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis berbentuk essay. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan uji non parametrik yaitu uji Mann-Whitney U. Population in this research was seventh grade students in Junior High School State 10 Bandar Lampung in academic year 2012/2013 that is consist of five classes. The sample were VII C and VII D class choosen by using purposive sampling technique. This research uses posttest only control group design. The data of this research were obtained through student’s mathematical conceptual understanding test. Based on the result of hypothesis test, it is concluded that learning by TAPPS strategy is effective considered by student’s mathematical conceptual understanding.Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis, TAPPS
