Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Guided Discovery Learning model on students' mathematical communication skills. The population in this study consists of all seventh-grade students of SMP Negeri 35 Bandar Lampung in the 2025/2026 academic year totaling 87 students distributed across three classes. The sample in this study includes class VII.3 as the experimental class with 29 students and class VII.2 as the control class with 29 students selected using cluster random sampling technique. The type of research used is quasi experimental research. The design used is the pretest-posttest control group design. The data in this study is quantitative data obtained through a mathematical communication skills test. Based on the result of hypothesis test using t-test, it was found that the average gain score of mathematical communication skills for students who participated in Guided Discovery Learning model was 0.69, which was higher than the average gain score of 0.35 achieved by students who participated in conventional learning. It can be concluded that the implementation of Guided Discovery Learning model has an effect on students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

Nurses are the spearhead of health services that are vulnerable to work stress and burnout due to high job demands, large responsibilities, and long working hours. Burnout can reduce the quality of service and work productivity of nurses. This study aims to analyze the influence of work period, workload, personality, and leadership style on work boredom with work stress as a mediating variable in nurses at Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto Hospital. The research sample amounted to 90 nurses who were taken with a total sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out using Univariate, Bivariate, and Multivariate analysis (path analysis) through the SPSS version 25 program to test the direct and indirect influence between variables. The results showed that there was an influence of work period, personality workload, and leadership style factors with burnout in nurses at Dr. M.M Dunda Limboto Hospital with p. Value (0.000 ? 0.05) while simultaneously the variables of working period, workload, personality, and leadership style had a significant effect on work stress (R² = 0.68). Partially, workload (? = +0.55; p = 0.000) had the strongest positive effect on work stress and working time (? = +0.28; p = 0.004) had a moderate positive effect, while personality (? = ?0.41; p = 0.000) and leadership style (? = ?0.33; p = 0.000) had a significant negative effect. Work stress itself had a significant positive effect on burnout (? = +0.63; p = 0.000), with a value of R² burnout = 0.74. The largest indirect influence on burnout occurred through the workload pathway ? work stress ? burnout (total ? = +0.72). The conclusion of this study shows that workload is the most dominant factor that increases nurse burnout, while a stable personality and supportive leadership style play an important role in reducing work stress and preventing burnout. These findings underscore the importance of workload management and transformational leadership development in an effort to maintain the psychological well-being of nursing staff.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tri Sulistianingsih Lihawa, S.Kep, Peran Kepala Ruangan Sebagai Supervisor Terhadap Kinerja Perawat Dalam Pelaksanaan Asuhan Keperawatan Di Ruang Interna RSUD Dr. Hasri Ainun Habibie Provinsi Gorontalo. Di bimbing oleh Ns. Sabirin B. Syukur, M.Kep Peran utama seorang kepala ruangan adalah mengelola seluruh sumber daya di unit perawatan untuk menghasilkan pelayanan yang bermutu. Kepala ruangan bertanggung jawab untuk melalukan supervisi pelayanan keperawatan pada pasien di ruang perawatan yang dipimpinnya. Dalam hal ini diperlukan evaluasi pelaksanaan supervisi terutama mengenai kompetensi dari supervisor dalam melaksanakan supervisi yang berupa masukan dari perawat pelaksana dan pengaruhnya terhadap kualitas kinerja perawat itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap Peran Kepala Ruangan Sebagai Supervisor Terhadap Kinerja Perawat Dalam Pelaksanaan Asuhan Keperawatan Di Ruang Interna RSUD Dr. Hasri Ainun Habibie Provinsi Gorontalo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey analitik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional, Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua perawat yang bekerja diruang interna, sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 16 orang perawat yang bekerja di ruangan interrna RSUD dr. Hasri Ainun Habibie Provinsi Gorontalo. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan wawancara, dan Kuesioner. Kuesioner yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi kuesioner supervisi kepala ruangan dan kuesioner kinerja perawat. Data dianalisis dengan uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan (α)<0,05. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa peran kepala ruangan baik sebanyak 8 responden (50%) dan peran kepala ruangan cukup sebanyak 8 responden (50%). kinerja perawat baik sebanyak 9 responden (56%) dan kinerja perawat cukup sebanyak 7 responden (44%). Hasil uji statistik didapatkan hasil dengan nilai , maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat Hubungan Peran Kepala Ruangan Sebagai Supervisor Terhadap Kinerja Perawat Dalam Pelaksanaan Asuhan Keperawatan Di Ruang Interna Rsud Dr. Hasri Ainun Habibie Provinsi Gorontalo. Kata Kunci: Peran Kepala Ruangan, Kinerja Perawat, Asuhan Keperawatan
