Abstract

This study aims to explore the effect of gamification implementation on customer loyalty on Over the Top (OTT) service platforms, specifically Vidio Dot Com. The OTT industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly with various major players such as Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, and Vidio. Vidio Dot Com utilizes a gamification strategy through the Vidio Arcade feature to increase customer loyalty amid fierce competition. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method with a sample of 96 respondents who are active users of Vidio Dot Com. The findings revealed a strong and significant correlation between the use of gamification and customer loyalty, where gamification contributed 63.5% to customer loyalty. Fun experiences and reward incentives are the main factors that drive user engagement. Thus, gamification is proven to be an effective marketing tool in increasing customer loyalty on OTT platforms. This research also recommends further development of gamification elements to increase user engagement and maintain customer loyalty.

Abstract

This paper examines the religious issues represented in secular media. Secularism has been regarded unavoidable since the development of science and technology and in line with positivistic idea. However, since the second half of the 20th century, sociologists of religion have argued that secularism is no longer relevant due to the insurgence of religions and religious institutions around the world. In particular, this paper discusses how Solopos –a newspaper in Surakarta- publishes articles related to the topics of religion. The research finds that even though Solopos is a secular media, it still publishes articles on religious issues. There is no specific policy regarding this publication, but it represents the contexts of the society that still regard religion as an important part of their life. Based on the research, this paper concludes that secularism has failed both in the public space such as media and in the mindset of the people of Surakarta.

Abstract

Why would someone join a community business? This article aims to explain the existence of community businesses in agriculture in Jatinangor and the attachment of farmers in Jatinangor to the agricultural community business. The concepts used are community business and sense of community. The method used is a qualitative case study. This article finds that Jatinangor Urban Farming (JUF) and Gunung Geulis Communication Forum (FKGG) are community businesses engaged in agriculture in Jatinangor. With distinctive characteristics, farmers who join JUF and FKGG have community attachments based on four things: membership bonds, influence from the community, unity, and fulfillment of common needs, and mutual emotional relationships.Mengapa seseorang bergabung dalam sebuah bisnis komunitas ? Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan eksistensi bisnis komunitas dalam bidang pertanian di Jatinangor dan keterikatan para petani di Jatinangor ke dalam bisnis komunitas pertanian tersebut. Konsep yang dipergunakan adalah bisnis komunitas dan keterikatan komunitas. Metode yang dipergunakan adalah kualitatif studi kasus. Artikel ini menemukan bahwa Jatinangor Urban Farming (JUF) dan Forum Komunikasi Gunung Geulis (FKGG) merupakan bisnis komunitas yang bergerak dalam bidang pertanian di Jatinangor. Dengan karakteristik yang khas, para petani yang bergabung dengan JUF dan FKGG memiliki keterikatan komunitas berdasarkan empat hal, yakni: ikatan keanggotaan, pengaruh dari komunitas, adanya penyatuan dan pemenuhan kebutuhan bersama, serta adanya hubungan emosional bersama.

Abstract

Penerapan e-filing pada KPP Pratama Sumedang memiliki beberapa tantangan seperti ketidakstabilan server saat periode pelaporan puncak, keterbatasan literasi teknologi di kalangan wajib pajak, dan potensi kesalahan pengisian data. Fenomena ini berpengaruh pada efektivitas pemeriksaan pajak yang menjadi elemen penting dalam memastikan kepatuhan wajib pajak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan e-filing terhadap efektivitas dan efisiensi pemeriksaan pajak di KPP Pratama Sumedang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif menggunakan data primer melalui wawancara dengan petugas pajak dan data sekunder dari dokumen resmi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-filing berhasil mempercepat proses pelaporan dan meningkatkan keakuratan data, meskipun kendala teknis dan rendahnya literasi digital masih menjadi hambatan signifikan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan infrastruktur teknologi, penguatan sosialisasi kepada wajib pajak, dan pelatihan teknis bagi petugas pajak untuk memaksimalkan penerapan e-filing. Dengan langkah tersebut, diharapkan e-filing dapat lebih efektif dalam mendukung pemeriksaan pajak dan meningkatkan kepatuhan wajib pajak. The implementation of e-filing at KPP Pratama Sumedang faces several challenges, such as server instability during peak reporting periods, limited technological literacy among taxpayers, and the potential for data entry errors. These phenomena impact the effectiveness of tax audits, which are a crucial element in ensuring taxpayer compliance. This study aims to analyze the implementation of e-filing in relation to the effectiveness and efficiency of tax audits at KPP Pratama Sumedang. The research adopts a descriptive-qualitative approach, utilizing primary data through interviews with tax officers and secondary data from official documents. The findings indicate that e-filing has successfully expedited the reporting process and improved data accuracy, although technical issues and low digital literacy remain significant obstacles. This study recommends improving technological infrastructure, strengthening outreach programs for taxpayers, and providing technical training for tax officers to maximize the implementation of e-filing. These measures are expected to make e-filing more effective in supporting tax audits and enhancing taxpayer compliance.

Abstract

This study examines two virtual restaurant brands—Ayam Bang Dava and Mang Katsu—as the research objects. This research offers a novel comparative analysis of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) strategies implemented by two brands operating under the same parent company within a shared cloud kitchen environment—a context that remains underexplored in existing academic literature. It aims to compare how each brand’s IMC strategies influence brand image across five dimensions (public relations, promotion, events, digital interaction, packaging). Employing a sequential exploratory mixed-methods design, qualitative data were gathered via interviews and observations, then quantitative data were collected through consumer questionnaires (purposive and accidental sampling). Qualitative findings were analyzed with the Miles and Huberman model; quantitative differences were tested using the Mann-Whitney U test. Results indicate significant inter-brand differences in promotional messages and media use (p < 0.05), digital personalization and dialogue quality (p < 0.05), and use of packaging for promotion (p < 0.05). In terms of brand image, credibility and visual recognition differed significantly (p < 0.05), as did personal, experiential, and economic benefits (p < 0.05). Practically, this study contributes to a deeper understanding of how differentiated IMC approaches within a unified operational structure can support brand development—particularly for emerging brands like Mang Katsu—while maintaining competitive parity in overall communication effectiveness (p = 0.774).

Abstract

Women entrepreneurs in Cikeruh Village face challenges in increasing business competitiveness due to a lack of understanding and skills in product packaging and digital catalog creation. Many of their products still use simple packaging, and most entrepreneurs have not yet utilized digital catalogs as promotional media, affecting consumer appeal and market reach. This Community Service Program aims to enhance the capacity of women digital entrepreneurs—particularly members of the Family Welfare Empowerment group and housewives—in understanding and applying techniques for product packaging and digital catalog creation. The method used is interactive training that combines theory and practice, including presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises in designing packaging and digital catalogs. Evaluation was conducted by measuring participants’ knowledge before and after the training using a questionnaire to assess improvement. The training results showed a significant increase in participants' skills in creating more attractive and professional product packaging and developing effective digital catalogs as marketing tools. After evaluation and monitoring, participants demonstrated a better understanding of branding strategies and digital marketing. In conclusion, this program successfully improved the competencies of women digital entrepreneurs in Cikeruh Village in utilizing technology to develop their businesses. This is expected to enhance their business competitiveness and sustainability in the digital era.Wirausaha wanita di Desa Cikeruh menghadapi kendala dalam meningkatkan daya saing usaha karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan kemasan produk dan katalog digital. Produk yang dihasilkan masih menggunakan kemasan sederhana, dan sebagian besar pelaku usaha belum memanfaatkan katalog digital sebagai media promosi, sehingga berpengaruh terhadap daya tarik konsumen dan jangkauan pasar. Program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas wirausaha digital wanita, khususnya kader Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga dan ibu rumah tangga, dalam memahami serta mengaplikasikan teknik pembuatan kemasan produk dan katalog digital. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan interaktif yang menggabungkan teori dan praktik, meliputi pemberian materi, demonstrasi, serta latihan langsung dalam mendesain kemasan dan katalog digital. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui pengukuran sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan dengan kuesioner untuk mengetahui tingkat peningkatan pengetahuan peserta. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan peserta dalam menciptakan kemasan produk yang lebih menarik dan profesional, serta menyusun katalog digital yang efektif sebagai alat pemasaran. Setelah dilakukan evaluasi dan monitoring, peserta menunjukkan pengetahuan yang lebih baik mengenai strategi branding dan pemasaran digital. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan kompetensi wirausaha digital wanita di Desa Cikeruh dalam memanfaatkan teknologi untuk mengembangkan usaha mereka, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan bisnis di era digital.

Abstract

Tanaman  kentang yang dibudidayakan pada lahan  pola  sistem  agroforestry umumnya akan tumbuh dalam kondisi yang ternaungi oleh vegetasi dengan kerapatan naungan yang berbeda. Penelitian  ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon hasil tanaman kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) terhadap  naungan. Percobaan dilakukan di lahan pertanian Blok Ledon Desa Padaawas Kecamatan Pasirwangi Kabupaten Garut ketinggian tempat 1.750 m dpl, jenis tanah ordo andisols dari bulan April sampai Juli 2023. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan Rancangan Petak Terbagi, dengan naungan sebagai petak utama terdiri  atas 4 naungan, yaitu : 0 %, naungan 25%, naungan 50 %  dan naungan 75%. Kultivar  sebagai anak petak terdiri atas 3 kultivar, yaitu :  Granola, RGH-01  dan Medians. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan   Naungan dan kultivar masing-masing secara mandiri berpengaruh  nyata terhadap jumlah ubi per tanaman dan indeks panen. Naungan 25 % menunjukkan hasil terbaik terhadap semua parameter pengamatan. Kultivar Medians menunjukkan hasil terbaik terhadap semua parameter pengamatan

Abstract

Kasus remaja dengan HIV (RDHIV) di Indonesia tercatat lebih banyak dibandingkan Negara Malaysia pada tahun 2023. RDHIV merupakan masa transisi dari kanak-kanak menjadi dewasa beserta menghadapi tantangan terkait HIV yang dideritanya, sehingga mendorong RDHIV agar dapat beradaptasi secara psikologis. Kemampuan penyesuaian diri secara terhadap tantangan dan kesulitan yang dialami disebut dengan resiliensi. Penelitian ini, dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran jenis kelamin, ketataan beribadah dan sumber penularan dengan tingkat resiliensi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Teknik sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan metode convenience sampling sehingga didapatkan 70 RDHIV. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Child & Youth Resilience Measurement-Revised (CYRM-R), analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis univariat dengan frekusensi dan presentase untuk data kategorik sedangkan mean dan standar deviasi untuk data numerik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan RDHIV yang memiliki tingkat resiliensi tinggi cenderung memiliki karakteristik jenis kelamin laki-laki (22), ketaatan beribadah RDHIV yang taat beribadah (29) cenderung menunjukkan tingkat resiliensi tinggi dan sumber penularan pada RDHIV sebagian besar karena perilaku berisiko (24).

Abstract

Riset ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh employer branding terhadap minat melamar kerja pada pengikut akun Instagram @lifeat99group. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif, data dihimpun melalui penyebaran angket, pelaksanaan wawancara, observasi, serta didukung oleh data sekunder dari literatur-literatur terkait. Sebanyak 97 responden dipilih sebagai sampel melalui metode purposive sampling. Data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan employer branding berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat melamar kerja, dengan social value sebagai dimensi yang paling dominan. Namun, interest value dan economic value masih menunjukkan skor yang lebih rendah dibandingkan dimensi lainnya. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan perlu meningkatkan daya tarik intrinsik pekerjaan serta transparansi terkait kompensasi dan manfaat yang ditawarkan. Maka penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa employer branding melalui media sosial dapat menjadi strategi efektif dalam menarik pencari kerja, tetapi perlu dioptimalkan pada aspek tertentu agar lebih menarik bagi calon pelamar.

Abstract

There is an abundance of potential in Indonesia's food and beverage economy, but the Covid-19 pandemic conditions have prompted a significant change in consumer behavior, namely from direct purchases to digital purchases. The Cloud Kitchen concept is an option because it focuses on providing online food and beverage delivery services (online food & drink delivery). This is used by Ayam Bang Dava (ABD) to attract consumers and encourage purchases from online consumers who are basically interested in the promotional offers offered. This study aims to determine the effect of sales promotion on the purchasing decisions of Ayam Bang Dava (ABD) customers in Bandung Raya. The research method used is quantitative, verification and uses surveys as a data collection tool. Purposive sampling was a method when selecting the sample to target only Ayam Bang Dava (ABD) customers in Bandung Raya, with a total of 115 respondents. This study analyzes sales promotion variables through sales promotion tools conducted by Ayam Bang Dava (ABD), including bundles/bonus packs, price-offs, and event marketing. Purchasing decision variables are evaluated through aspects of product selection, brand selection, dealer selection, time and amount of purchase, and payment method. This study used simple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing to determine the existence of an influence. The results showed that the sales promotion carried out by ABD had an effect on the purchasing decisions of ABD customers in Bandung Raya. The value of the coefficient of determination obtained is 31%, which shows that the sales promotion variable can explain the purchase decision variable by 31%, and the remaining 69% is explained by other variables.
