Abstract

This study aims to design an efficient boat-pulling machine to support traditional fishermen at Pasie Katapiang Beach, Padang Pariaman. The research method employed is the design of the tool based on the principles of design engineering, involving a systematic process in creating a machine that can assist fishermen in the boat docking process more efficiently. Through calculations and planning, it was found that the force required to pull the fishermen's boat is 6,522.88 N, using a shaft made of ST 37 material with a diameter of 22.413 mm. The rotations generated on the transmission shaft are 2000 rpm, while on the wheel and drum shafts are 750 rpm and 500 rpm, respectively. The selection of a slip clutch with 2 bolts on the transmission shaft and the use of pillow block bearing ucp 206 ass 30 with specified bearing life estimates have been considered in the machine design. Practical test results indicate that the time required to reel or pull the boat is 0.98 minutes. In this research, the design of the boat-pulling machine meets operational needs. It has the potential to positively contribute to improving the work efficiency and welfare of traditional fishermen in the field

Abstract

Aplikasi Point of Sales (POS) sangat dibutuhkan dalam menjalankan kegiatan bisnis terutama dalam hal pencatatan transaksi, pengelolaan persediaan, dan keuangan. Salah satu aplikasi POS yang populer di Indonesia adalah Olsera POS. Analisis sentimen pada data ulasan dilakukan untuk mengetahui bobot ulasan karena tidak semua bobot data ulasan memiliki nilai yang akurat. Oleh karena itu, penulis bertujuan melakukan penelitian analisis sentimen aplikasi Olsera POS untuk mengetahui ulasan pengguna secara lebih spesifik dengan metode KNN yang mengklasifikasikan ulasan pengguna berdasarkan aspek yang dibahas. Data ulasan yang digunakan adalah data dari rentang tahun 2019 hingga Mei 2023 dengan jumlah ulasan sebanyak 473 data ulasan dengan 2 aspek yaitu User Interface dan User Experience. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan perhitungan K-Fold Cross Validation sebanyak 10 kali. Pada aspek User Interface, Akurasi tertinggi didapat pada perhitungan fold ke-2 yang menghasilkan akurasi 92.8%, precision 93.7%, recall 92.8%, dan F1-Score 92.8%. Rerata menunjukkan jumlah akurasi 89.8%, precision 91.7%, recall 89,8%, dan F1-Score 89,7%. Pada aspek User Experience, akurasi tertinggi didapat pada perhitungan fold ke-10 yang menghasilkan akurasi 97.2%, precision 97.3%, recall 97.2%, dan F1-Score 97%. Rerata memilik jumlah akurasi 94.9%, precision 95.2%, recall 94.9%, dan F1-Score 94.3%. Hasil nilai metrik evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa model dengan algoritma KNN memiliki performa yang sangat baik dalam melakukan prediksi atau klasifikasi.

Abstract

The research aims to know and analyze the impact of business risk and capital structure on the growth of sea transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2020. Some of the problems encountered in this study, among others, namely, high business risk can reduce company growth, high capital structure can reduce company growth and also high debt to shipping companies can lead to difficulties in determining the composition of capital structure. Path analysis is used to test the hypothesis proposed in this study by using the Partial Least Square application. The total sample of 45 consisted of nine companies with a five-year observation period taken by purposive sampling technique. The results showed: business risk has no impact on firm growth, capital structure has no direct impact on company growth, business risk has a positive and significant direct impact on capital structure, and business risk does not directly impact company growth through capital structure mediation. The study concludes that business risk positively impacts capital structure, so the declining capital structure decreases business risk.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Supply Chain Management and constraints of existing ERP systems in PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk is a company engaged in the household production industry by offering food products, beverages, kitchen needs, to toiletries. In an effort to develop its business operations, it is known that PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk implements its management strategy through ERP and Supply Chain Management systems. The ERP system at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk functions as an information integration tool for all company stakeholders, while Supply Chain Management functions as a tool for monitoring the flow of goods to consumers and the amount of inventory. Thus, the two strategies are related to the certainty of the performance of Unilever employees. This paper aims to analyze the performance and the relationship between supply chain management, and the effect of the ERP system implemented by Unilever companies on operational performance through interaction and communication of information in order to be efficient in implementing supply chain management strategies and ERP systems. The research method uses a document study approach, as well as primary and secondary data collection techniques. The results of the study reveals that the Supply Chain Management strategy of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk has four components, namely supply chain uncertainty, management of economies of scale, selection of transportation modes, and product inventory control; as well as the ERP and Supply Chain Management systems of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk have a positive and significant impact on the company's performance so as to obtain profits and achieve company goals.

Abstract

Dalam era digital yang berkembang pesat, kecerdasan buatan (AI) telah menjadi unsur kunci dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, termasuk dalam lingkungan akademik. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana literasi AI mempengaruhi norma dan etika akademik mahasiswa, khususnya di Universitas Negeri Makassar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi dampak pengetahuan AI pada norma sosial, etika, dan perilaku akademik mahasiswa. Metode penelitian kuantitatif digunakan dengan pendekatan desain longitudinal sectional, menggunakan kuesioner untuk mengumpulkan data dari 74 partisipan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan literasi AI berkorelasi dengan perubahan signifikan dalam norma dan etika akademik, menekankan pentingnya pemahaman AI yang komprehensif dalam konteks akademis. Penelitian ini menyajikan perspektif baru mengenai pentingnya literasi AI dalam membekali mahasiswa dengan kemampuan untuk menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan memanfaatkan peluang di zaman teknologi yang dinamis.

Abstract

This study aims to identify objects or locations in the Ecotourism area of Rammang-Ramang Maros which can be used as a Geography Contextual Learning Laboratory). This type of research is descriptive qualitative research, which means that this research identifies and describes every object in the Rammang-Rammang Ecotourism location that can be studied using a geography approach, then mapped into a geography learning laboratory concept. This research utilizes primary data (observation) and secondary data (library study). The data collected, both primary and secondary, were processed, analyzed, and then mapped into geographic laboratory locations for students to use in contextual geography learning. The results showed that there were 6 (six) location points that could be used as a geography laboratory in the Rammang-Rammang ecotourism area. Each location describes a typical geographic study object from the aspects of hydrology, geology, geomorphology, and biodiversity. The six location points that have been plotted as a geography laboratory are Batu Forest (Tower Karts), Berua Village, Tunnel Cave, Berlian Cave, Bat Cave, and Bidadari Lake. The location is made as a geography learning laboratory because the six locations have geosphere phenomena that are relevant to some of the achievements of geography learning in the independent learning curriculum. So, this research has produced a geography laboratory that conceptually makes it easier for teachers and students to study contextual-based geography with the concept of outdoor study learning such as field trips or field studies.

Abstract

AbstractConventional learning methods such as lectures and discussions are still widely used, so they do not hone the 21st-century skills needed by students. The problems of less academic communication between students, low collaboration to solve certain problems, and low thinking skills can result in less-prepared graduates facing the 21st century. The study aims to investigate the effect of the team-based project learning method on (1) communication skills, (2) collaboration skills, and (3) critical thinking skills of PPKn students. The approach in this research is quantitative, and the method of quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group research design. The research sample was students of the Pancasila and Citizenship Education Study Program at Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka who took the Penelitian Hasil Belajar course in the 2022/2023 academic year. Sampling was carried out using non-probability techniques and using total sampling. The results showed that the team-based project learning method positively influences students' communication, collaboration, and critical thinking skills when completing a project given by lecturers as an alternative learning method that can be applied at the higher education level.-----------------------------AbstrakMetode pembelajaran konvensional seperti ceramah dan diskusi masih banyak digunakan sehingga kurang mengasah keterampilan abad 21 yang dibutuhkan mahasiswa. Persoalan komunikasi akademik mahasiswa yang kurang, kolaborasi yang rendah untuk menyelesaikan persoalan tertentu, dan keterampilan berpikir yang rendah dapat mengakibatkan lulusan yang kurang siap dalam menghadapi abad 21. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh metode pembelajaran team-based project terhadap: (1) keterampilan komunikasi, (2) keterampilan kolaborasi, dan (3) keterampilan berpikir kritis pada mahasiswa PPKn. Pendekatan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dan metode eksperimen semu (quasi-experiment) dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest nonequivalent control group. Sampel penelitian yaitu mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan di Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka yang mengambil mata kuliah Penelitian Hasil Belajar pada tahun akademik 2022/2023. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik non-probabilitas dan menggunakan total sampling (sampling jenuh). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran team-based project memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan berpikir kritis mahasiswa ketika menyelesaikan sebuah proyek yang diberikan oleh dosen sebagai salah satu alternatif metode pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan di tingkat pendidikan tinggi.

Abstract

This article aimed to describe Carok nowadays from the perspective of criminal law and Islamic law. Carok is a traditional sort of vengeance or conflict seen in specific parts of Indonesia, particularly Madura, East Java. It usually consists of armed battles between groups or people, often resulting from long-standing feuds or disputes over land, honour, or revenge. Carok episodes can be violent and even fatal, and they are firmly ingrained in local cultural and social dynamics. A feeling of honour and pride frequently drives conflicts, and they can be difficult to resolve through normal legal processes. Carok was well-known for the Madurese killing (maybe similar to Hara-kiri in Japan, Sati in India, and so on), which moved on from the beginning as honour killing to nowadays as criminalization. This article intends to conduct legal research, similar to socio-legal research, due to the experience of the author(s) as Madurese, and involving several native Madurese people and figures in the research, such as religious leaders and law enforcers. As a result, this article found that Carok nowadays has identical meanings and punishment in Indonesian criminal law and Islamic law.

Abstract

Menangkap ikan adalah mata pencarian yang ditekuni setiap hari oleh masyarakat pesisir pantai Katapiang Padang Pariaman Sumbar. Biasanya, nelayan menangkap ikan di tengah laut dan hasil tangkapan dibawa dengan perahu kedarat. Setelah perahu sampai dibibir pantai kemudian perahu yang berisi hasil tangkapan ikan di tarik ke darat bersama sama oleh kelompok nelayan secara manual menggunakan tenaga manusia. Proses tersebut menurut nelayan tidak efektif dan meminimalkan hasil tangkapan karena harus dibagi ke anggota penarik. Adapun tersedia alat penarik sederhana tetapi tidak layak pakai karena tidak terawat dengan baik. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah mengedukasi masyarakat tentang alat bantu penarik perahu melalui pelatihan singkat tentang alat penarik perahu, cara operasi dan perawatannya supaya alat dapat berfungsi dengan baik dan memiliki umur pakai yang lama. Metoda yang digunakan adalah metoda pelatihan langsung ke kelompok Nelayan mitra. Hasil yang didapat setelah pelatihan ini anggota kelompok nelayan mampu mengoperasikan alat penarik kapal dan mampu melakukan perawatan harian pada alat penarik perahu. Kata kunci: penarik perahu nelayan, alat bantu tarik, pelatihan pengoperasian mesin, nelayan, tangkapan ikan ABSTRACT Fishing is the daily livelihood of the coastal community in Katapiang, Padang Pariaman, West Sumatra. Typically, fishermen catch fish in the open sea and bring their catch to shore by boat. Once the boat reaches the beach, the fishermen manually pull the boat, filled with their catch, to shore together as a group. This manual process is considered inefficient by the fishermen, as it reduces their catch since it has to be divided among the pullers. Although there is a simple pulling device available, it is not in usable condition due to poor maintenance. The aim of this community service is to educate the community about the boat pulling device through a brief training session on its operation and maintenance, ensuring the device functions properly and has a longer lifespan. The method used is direct training for the partner fishermen group. The outcome of this training is that members of the fishermen group are able to operate the boat pulling device and perform daily maintenance on it. Abstract

Gizi kurang merupakan gangguan kesehatan akibat kekurangan atau ketidak seimbangan zat gizi yang diperlukan untuk pertumbuhan, berfikir dan semua hal yang berhubungan dengan kehidupan. Upaya yang dilakukan agar kebutuhan balita gizi kurang tercukupi diwilayah ring 1 PT Pertamina Patra Niaga IT Makassar yaitu dengan melaksanakan program SEHATI, pada program ini dilakukan pemberian paket intervensi  pemulihan dan edukasi kepada orang tua balita terkait kesehatan dan gizi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis apakah program SEHATI PT Pertamina Patra Niaga efektif terhadap perubahan status gizi  balita. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pre dan post-test design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Wilayah kerja puskesmas Tabaringan ditiga kelurahan yakni di Kelurahan Gusung, Kelurahan Tamalabba, dan Kelurahan Ujung Tanah yang juga merupakan wilayah ring 1 PT Pertamina Patra Niaga IT Makassar. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah balita yang bermasalah gizi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tabaringan sebanyak 21 orang, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh Program SEHATI PT Pertamina Patra Niaga IT Makassar terhadap perubahan status gizi balita yang berarti bahwa program SEHATI PT Pertamina Patra Niaga IT Makassar efektif terhadap perbaikan status gizi balita.
