Abstract

The use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology in vocational education has grown rapidly, providing new opportunities to support practical learning processes. This research aims to develop an AR-based 3-dimensional application that is used in milling work practices, a basic technique in machining. This application is designed to help students understand fundamental concepts, operating procedures, and how to use milling machines in a more interactive and in-depth manner. Through this application, students can view 3D models of milling machines and their components, learn work steps through interactive simulations, and get visual guidance in a real AR environment. The development methods used include requirements analysis, system design, software development, and evaluation. The research results show that this application is effective in increasing students' understanding of milling material, as well as facilitating a more interesting and efficient learning process. It is hoped that the implementation of this application can become a model for the development of other educational technologies in the field of machining engineering.

Abstract

Laju pertumbuhan penduduk yang meningkat secara drastis telah mempengaruhi banyak sektor kehidupan termasuk kebutuhan lahan. Penggunaan dan pembangunan lahan yang tidak terkendali dan secara terus menerus dilaksanakan menyebabkan perubahan kondisi udara hingga diindikasi sebagai penyebab tidak terkendalinya pencemaran udara wilayah permukiman dan kawasan industri. Wilayah observasi mencakup 18 Kecamatan di seluruh wilayah Kabupaten Gowa untuk mengetahui mengidentifikasi penyebab, tingkat hingga sebaran tingkat pencemaran udara pada lahan terbuka. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan teknologi penginderaan jauh dan sistem informasi geografis berbasis Earth Engine Data Catalog dengan memanfaatkan data spasial Sentinel 2A/2B dan Sentinel 5- P NRTI. Parameter penelitian ini meliputi parameter alih fungsi lahan yakni indeks vegetasi (VI) dan parameter pencemaran udara meliputi parameter Indeks Standar Pencemaran Udara (ISPU) meliputi Karbon monoksida (CO), Sulfur dioksida (SO2), Nitrogen dioksida (NO2), Formaldehida (HCHO), Ozon (O3), dan Partikulat Aerosol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebaran dan pemetaan pencemaran udara pada lahan terbuka di 18 Kecamatan terpusat pada wilayah city center. Secara keseluruhan, sebaran emisi gas CO, NO2, HCHO, PM konsentrasi tinggi mencapai lebih dari 50% wilayah Kabupaten Gowa serta peningkatan alih fungsi lahan menjadi lahan terbuka meningkat hingga 20% sejak tahun 2019 hingga tahun 2024. Peningkatan jumlah kawasan industri berperan aktif sebagai penyumbang kadar pencemaran udara tertinggi di Kabupaten Gowa sehingga dibutuhkan pembangunan ruang terbuka hijau yang lebih masif di masa depan.

Abstract

Small-scale broiler farming in Indonesia often suffers losses due to high production costs. In addition to rising feed prices, these losses are frequently caused by chickens that are ready for harvest being unsold in the market due to a decline in purchasing power. One solution that farmers can implement is to slaughter the chickens at the appropriate harvest time and store the carcasses in cooling rooms to sell them when market prices increase. This study aims to design and specify cooling storage equipment to store broiler carcasses using a combination of commercial and solar energy sources. The research begins by determining the cooling load of the system, specifying refrigeration components, evaluating solar energy potential at the location, and designing the required electrical system. Solar energy potential was calculated based on meteorological data obtained from an online database and processed using the PvSyst 7.2 application. Based on the analysis, the cooling storage requires 4.69 kW of power to reach optimal temperature within 6 hours, with a COPR value of 2.2. Meanwhile, the solar energy potential at the installation site is 4.44 kWh/m²/day, enabling the solar power system (PLTS) to generate an estimated annual energy output of 1802 kWh with a Performance Ratio (PR) of 65.07% and a Solar Fraction (SF) of 91.85%.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) dengan tema "Design to Impress: Creating Stunning Landing Pages with HTML and CSS" yang dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 1 Kota Sorong ialah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan siswa jurusan PPLG (Pengembangan Perangkat Lunak dan GIM) dalam pembuatan halaman web. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 60 siswa dan bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dasar hingga lanjutan mengenai HTML dan CSS, serta teknik pembuatan landing pages yang responsif. Metode yang digunakan mencakup penyuluhan, praktikum, dan pendampingan langsung. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa siswa/i mampu mengaplikasikan pengetahuan yang diperoleh, meskipun terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan pemahaman teknis dan akses terhadap sumber daya. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat memotivasi siswa untuk memanfaatkan teknologi digital dalam karier mereka di masa depan.

Abstract

Environmental health has become a crucial issue in the Johor region of Malaysia, particularly in areas with high population density and limited access to sanitation facilities. This community service activity aims to disseminate the implementation of effective sanitation technology to improve the quality of environmental health, specifically for Indonesian migrant workers (TKI) living in Johor. The program focuses on educating about the importance of sanitation, introducing simple sanitation technologies, and providing assistance in applying hygiene practices in households. Through a participatory approach, Indonesian migrant workers in Johor are directly involved in outreach, training, and implementing community-based sanitation solutions. Evaluation is conducted to measure the program's impact on increasing community knowledge and changing behaviors related to sanitation. The results show a positive community response toward the importance of sanitation, as well as a significant reduction in environmental health issues, such as the transmission of environmentally-borne diseases. Disseminating the results through scientific publications and seminars is expected to serve as a reference for other regions with similar conditions, so that proper sanitation implementation can contribute to improving quality of life and public health

Abstract

This study discusses the intervention of cannibalism and disease spread with Holling Type II response function in the predator-prey model. It is assumed that disease infection is limited to the prey population and cannot be cured so that in this model there are three subpopulations namely susceptible prey, infected prey and predators. In addition, there is cannibalism in the predator population. The objectives of this study include constructing a predator-prey model with cannibalism intervention and disease infection in prey using Holling Type II response function, identifying the stability of the equilibrium point of the model and interpreting the model based on simulation results. Analysis of the stability of the equilibrium point is carried out with a linearization approach and the Routh-Hurwitz criterion was used to determine equilibrium stability. Based on the stability analysis, 5 (five) equilibrium points are obtained, namely population extinction, susceptible prey exists, predator extinction, infected prey extinction and population exists where the population extinction equilibrium point is unstable and the other equilibrium points are stable with the certain conditions. From the simulation, it is obtained that the numerical results are in accordance with the analytical results of the stability analysis of the equilibrium point of the model and for infinite time, there will be no population extinction while the state of susceptible prey exists, predator extinction, infected prey extinction and population exists can occur if the stability conditions are met. Based on the numerical simulations, it was found that changes in the parameter values of the rate of change of susceptible prey to infected prey and the coefficient of predator cannibalism in day-1 can cause changes in the type of stability of the equilibrium point. Thus, rate of change susceptible prey to infected prey and the coefficient of predator cannibalism affects the population of prey and predator.

This research designs a machine learning model using an Artificial Neural Network (ANN) algorithm to predict the tensile strength of aluminum. This research produces a machine learning model that has 8 (eight) input data variables consisting of the percentage of aluminum chemical composition such as Mg, Zn, Ti, Cu, Mn, Cr, Fe, Si, and 1 output (output), namely aluminum tensile strength. This study makes changes to several variations of parameters, such as variations in the number of split data, training cycles, learning rates, and hidden neurons. Abstract

The integration of mobile technology in higher education has transformed traditional learning models into more flexible and student-centered approaches. However, challenges remain in effectively engaging students and improving learning outcomes. This study aims to examine the impact of Mobile BRISMA LMS on student academic performance within a Flipped Classroom model. A quantitative research design was employed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to analyze the relationships among LMS usage, student engagement, teaching effectiveness, and academic achievement. The study involved 120 graduate students from Universitas Negeri Jakarta, selected through purposive sampling based on their enrollment in a flipped classroom course. The Mobile BRISMA LMS facilitated pre-class learning via video tutorials, interactive quizzes, and discussion forums, while in-class sessions emphasized collaboration and application of knowledge. The findings indicate that Mobile BRISMA LMS significantly enhances student engagement, which mediates the relationship between LMS usage and academic performance. Teaching effectiveness also plays a critical role in influencing student outcomes. In conclusion, Mobile BRISMA LMS effectively supports the Flipped Classroom model by fostering active learning, critical thinking, and improved academic achievement. These results offer practical insights for educators and institutions aiming to implement mobile LMS platforms to enhance learning experiences in higher education.

Abstract

This article examines the regulation of online gambling in Indonesia through both positive legal frameworks and religious fatwas issued by Islamic organisations such as the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), Muhammadiyah, and Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). The study employs a legal research method with statutory, conceptual, case-based, and comparative approaches. The findings suggest that the eradication of online gambling must be carried out comprehensively by strengthening digital content moderation mechanisms, as regulated under various Indonesian laws. Content moderation may include blocking, reducing visibility, delisting, and adjusting content ranking systems. A critical first step is the enactment of a Cybersecurity and Resilience Law that positions content moderation as a primary tool to safeguard Indonesia’s digital sovereignty. In this context, fatwas from Islamic organisations play a strategic role in reinforcing moral and social dimensions in combating online gambling. The elimination of online gambling is an integral part of Indonesia's efforts to realise digital sovereignty, which remains vulnerable to foreign interference. The study recommends further research in the form of comparative studies in Muslim-majority countries, focusing on how religious fatwas contribute to the fight against online gambling and how such approaches can be contextualised across jurisdictions. This article contributes to the development of an integrative framework that combines positive legal approaches with religious values in strengthening online gambling eradication policies in the digital era. Artikel ini mengkaji pengaturan judi online di Indonesia melalui perspektif hukum positif dan fatwa-fatwa yang dikeluarkan oleh organisasi keagamaan Islam, seperti Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI), Muhammadiyah, dan Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian hukum dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan, konseptual, kasus, dan perbandingan. Temuan studi ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberantasan judi online harus dilakukan secara komprehensif melalui penguatan mekanisme moderasi konten digital yang telah diatur dalam berbagai peraturan perundang-undangan di Indonesia. Moderasi konten dapat meliputi pemblokiran, penurunan visibilitas, delisting, dan sistem pemeringkatan konten. Langkah awal yang krusial adalah pembentukan Undang-Undang Keamanan dan Ketahanan Siber yang menjadikan moderasi konten sebagai instrumen utama untuk menjaga kedaulatan digital Indonesia. Dalam konteks ini, fatwa dari organisasi Islam memiliki peran strategis sebagai penguatan moral dan sosial dalam memerangi perjudian daring. Pemberantasan judi online merupakan bagian integral dari upaya mewujudkan kedaulatan digital Indonesia, yang saat ini masih rentan terhadap infiltrasi pihak asing. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan kajian lebih lanjut dalam bentuk studi perbandingan di negara-negara berpenduduk mayoritas Muslim mengenai kontribusi fatwa keagamaan dalam memberantas judi online, guna memperoleh pendekatan yang khas dan kontekstual di masing-masing negara. Artikel ini berkontribusi dalam memberikan kerangka pemikiran integratif antara pendekatan hukum positif dan nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam penguatan kebijakan penanggulangan judi daring di era digital.
