Abstract

Microbiological pollution of river water is one of the major risks to public health. Escherichia coli is used as an indicator of fecal contamination in waters. The Aur River is a tidal river in Palembang City that receives domestic waste runoff from the activities of the surrounding community. This study aims to analyze the total concentration of coliform and identify the dominant coliform type in the Aur River. The research was carried out along 2.5 km with three observation stations (upstream, middle, and downstream). Water sampling was carried out at five points at each station, and coliform analysis referred to SNI 3554. The results showed that the total coliform concentration at the upstream station was 5.24 × 10⁶ ± 1.1 × 10⁵ CFU/100 mL, the middle station was 1.1 × 10⁴ ± 5.5 × 10² CFU/100 mL, and the downstream station was 9.2 × 10⁶ ± 1.1 × 10⁵ CFU/100 mL, all of which exceeded the quality standard of 5 × 10³ CFU/100 mL. The dominant coliform types identified include Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Escherichia coli, and Enterobacter sp. These results show that the Aur River has experienced significant microbiological pollution, so efforts to control and manage water quality in a sustainable manner are needed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of monetary policy on Indonesia’s economic growth in the period of 2015–2024 using the interest rate of the Indonesian Bank Certificate Sertifikat Bank Indonesia, the money supply, the exchange rate, and inflationary pressure as the independent variable, and the economic growth as the dependent variable. The study used the quantitative research method by taking secondary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics and the Bank of Indonesia then analyzed using multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Squares method which is supplemented by t test, F test, coefficient of determinant R², and classic assumption test to ensure if the model is valid. The research findings showed that the SBI interest rate has a negative and significant influence on economic growth, inflation has a positive and significant effect, and the money supply and the exchange rate do not have a significant influence. Simultaneously, all four independent variables have a significant impact on economic growth by a value of R² of 73.35%. It means most of the variation of economic growth can be explained by independent variable of this model, while the rest is influenced by other factors beyond this research. In conclusion, the research finding asserted that monetary policy has an important role in maintaining stability and promoting economic growth in Indonesia, especially with main contribution as a recommendation for policymakers and monetary authorities to control interest rate and inflation and to recommend for further research by adding more variable such as investment, export, import, and government expenditure.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pemutaran audio di masjid sudah menjadi suatu kebiasaan di masyarakat dalam memberikan pesan ke masyarakat atau jamaah sekitar masjid bahwa kegiatan ibadah akan segera dilaksanakan. Untuk mempermudah kegiatan pemutaran audio, masjid harus memiliki suatu perangkat pemutar audio yang baik. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu mencoba untuk Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengimplementasikan modul DFPlayer Mini MP3 sebagai suatu solusi teknologi yang sederhana, mudah dioperasikan dan diperbaiki bagi Dewan Kemakmuran Masjid (DKM) di Masjid Al-Kahfi UTS yang menjadi mitra dalam pengabdian ini tanpa memerlukan pengetahuan teknis yang mendalam, yang selama ini mengalami kesulitan dan masalah dalam pemutaran audio. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pelatihan tata cara penggunaan DFPlayer kepada DKM. Berdasarkan evaluasi dari hasil pengabdian yang telah dilaksanakan memperlihatkan tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan ini mencapai 100%, Yang mana alat pemutar audio tersebut berfungsi dengan normal dan dapat membantu tim DKM-UTS dalam proses pemutaran audio Al-Quran sebagai penanda kegiatan di masjid.Abstract: Playing audio in mosques has become a habit in society to give messages to the public or congregation around the mosque that worship activities will soon be carried out. To make audio playback activities easier, mosques must have a good audio-playing device. The aim of this community service activity is to try to The aim of this community service activity is to implement the DFPlayer Mini MP3 module as a simple, easy-to-operate and repair technological solution for the Mosque Prosperity Council (DKM) at the UTS Al-Kahfi Mosque, which is a partner in this service, without requiring in-depth technical knowledge, which has previously experienced difficulties and problems in audio playback. The method used in this service is training on how to use DFPlayer for DKM. Based on the evaluation of the results of the service that has been carried out, it shows that the success rate for this activity has reached 100%. The audio player is functioning normally and can help the DKM-UTS team in the process of playing the audio of the Al-Quran as a marker for activities in the mosque.

Abstract

Fluktuasi kinerja dan risiko human error di industri pelayaran yang berisiko tinggi sering kali dipicu oleh kegagalan manajemen dalam mengelola ritme kerja dan kondisi psikologis awak kapal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh rotasi kru terhadap kinerja kru melalui peran mediasi stres kerja, dengan menggunakan landasan teori Job Demands-Resources (JD-R) Model. Penelitian kuantitatif ini dilakukan melalui survei kuesioner terhadap 100 responden pelaut aktif dari berbagai jenjang kepangkatan. Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis Partial Least Squares (PLS). Hasil pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan rotasi kru yang baik berpengaruh signifikan dalam menurunkan tingkat stres kerja. Sebaliknya, tingginya stres kerja terbukti mendegradasi kinerja operasional dan keselamatan kru secara signifikan. Temuan kebaruan (novelty) penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa stres kerja berperan sebagai mediator vital; artinya, ketidakpastian jadwal pergantian awak (crew change) merusak kinerja melalui mekanisme peningkatan tekanan psikologis yang gagal dikelola. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perusahaan pelayaran untuk menerapkan sistem penjadwalan yang transparan dan menyediakan dukungan pemulihan mental di atas kapal sebagai strategi mitigasi risiko keselamatan.

Abstract

This research was motivated by low student motivation and their difficulties in understanding narrative texts when using conventional teaching materials. Therefore, this research aimed to develop interactive flipbook as a learning media for eighth-grade students at MTs Hasyimiyah. This research followed the Research and Development (RD) method using ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The participants were 77 eighth-grade students who took part in the field trial. Data were collected using validation sheets for experts, observation checklists, and student response questionnaires as the primary instruments. The findings showed that the integration of digital features, such as QR codes for audio models, into the flip-book was feasible and practical for classroom use. These features successfully supported student performance in reading aloud activities, particularly in improving confidence and pronunciation accuracy. The implication of this research is that the flipbook provides a flexible and engaging alternative for English teachers to enhance the quality of reading instruction through technology-integrated media.

Abstract

One of the reasons students are not good at science literacy is the domination of conventional teacher-centered learning models. Science literacy can be enhanced only by embracing other models that are centered on the scientific process, for example, the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This study examines analytically the effect of the PBL model on science literacy skills of grade XII students in SMAN 6 Bulukumba in the 2024/2025 academic year, specifically redox reactions. Applying the quasi-experimental design with the posttest control group, the study utilized a comprehensive measurement of science literacy according to the context, knowledge, and competence aspects. Test data were contrasted employing both descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. Results of homogeneity and normality testing supported that the two groups were randomly drawn from homogeneous populations, although the data were not normally distributed. Thus, hypothesis testing was carried out employing the Mann-Whitney U test, with a Zcount value greater than Ztable (1.77 > 1.64). These results indicate that the Problem-Based Learning model improves grade XII students of SMAN 6 Bulukumba adequately in terms of their chemistry literacy skills, i.e., in the field of redox reactions.

Abstract

The core issue of this thesis is the implementation of accountability and transparency principles in the management of zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) by the National Board of Zakat (BAZNAS) of Payakumbuh City. This study aims to identify and understand the implementation of these principles in ZIS management within the organization.This research employs a field research design with a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques include interviews and documentation. Data analysis follows the interactive model developed by Miles and Huberman (1994), involving data reduction and presentation in brief narrative forms. To ensure data validity, the researcher utilized the triangulation technique.The results of the field research indicate that BAZNAS Payakumbuh City has implemented vertical organizational accountability in managing ZIS funds, yet horizontal accountability remains unfulfilled. Furthermore, BAZNAS Payakumbuh City has not fully applied the principle of transparency. The existing information system is limited to internal use, while an adequate external information system is currently lacking. Furthermore, mechanisms to ensure openness and facilitate public access to zakat management information have not yet utilized integrated information technology.Keywords: Accountability, Transparency, ZIS Management, BAZNAS

Abstract

This study presents the design and implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)–based feed control system for gamefowl (fighting chickens) to ensure consistent rations when the breeder is away. The system combines a load cell with an HX711 weight-sensor interface to measure dispensed feed, an Arduino Uno microcontroller to execute control logic, and an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module to exchange data with a cloud service. An Android application allows users to set the target feed mass in grams, start or stop dispensing, and monitor real-time weight feedback. A prototype development method was applied, covering requirement elicitation, hardware and software design, implementation, and functional testing. Performance was evaluated through 20 dispensing trials using a 10 g tolerance limit derived from breeder practice. The prototype achieved successful dosing in all trials, with measured outputs remaining within the defined tolerance and providing immediate feedback to the mobile interface. The results indicate that the proposed system can automate portioning, reduce the risk of overfeeding or underfeeding, and support remote feed management for small-scale poultry operations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model POGIL terhadap efikasi diri dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 1 Takalar. Metode kuasi eksperimen digunakan dengan desain penelitian post-test only control group design. Populasi berupa seluruh peserta didik kelas XI yang belajar kimia terdiri dari enam kelas. Teknik simple random sampling digunakan dalam pemilihan sampel subjek penelitian. Terpilih kelas XI.1 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang belajar dengan menggunakan model POGIL dan XI.2 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung. Variabel bebas penelitian ini adalah model POGIL dan model pembelajaran langsung, variabel terikatnya adalah efikasi diri dan hasil belajar. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket efikasi diri dan tes hasil belajar dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif hasil belajar kelompok eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata nilai hasil belajar 81,16 dengan efikasi diri 55,47. Analisis statistik hasil belajar kelompok kontrol diperoleh rata-rata nilai hasil belajar 74,5 dengan efikasi diri 50,83. Hasil uji homogenitas dan uji normalitas untuk efikasi diri dan hasil belajar menunjukkan kedua data berasal dari populasi yang homogen, namun tidak terdistribusi normal, sehingga pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney. Hasil uji statistik inferensial efikasi diri diperoleh Zhitung = 3,04 pada (α) = 0,05 serta diperoleh Ztabel = 1,64 menunjukkan bahwa Zhitung > Ztabel. Hasil uji statistik inferensial hasil belajar diperoleh Zhitung = 2,40 pada (α) = 0,05 serta diperoleh Ztabel = 1,64 menunjukkan bahwa Zhitung > Ztabel, yang berarti ada pengaruh model POGIL terhadap efikasi diri dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI pada materi laju reaksi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-experiment yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan media E-LKPD interaktif berbasis Wizer.me terhadap hasil belajar Peserta Didik Kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 7 Maros Materi Pokok Asam Basa. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 7 Maros. Variabel bebas adalah penggunaan media E-LKPD berbasis Wizer.me, sedangkan variabel terikatnya adalah hasil belajar pada materi asam basa. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan ganda, pengisian angket respon peserta didik dan pengamatan aktivitas peserta didik selama pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh (1) Rata-rata nilai N-gain hasil belajar peserta didik adalah 0,70 yang berada pada kategori tinggi; (2) Ketuntasan kelas tercapai sebesar 88,89%, (3) Rata-rata persentase respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan media E-LKPD interaktif berbasis Wizer.me adalah 80,3% yang berada pada kategori baik, (4) Rata-rata persentase observasi aktivitas peserta didik adalah 83,45% yang berada pada kategori baik. Berdasarkan data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media E-LKPD interaktif berbasis Wizer.me efektif terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI IPA 2 SMA Negeri 7 Maros pada materi pokok asam basa.
