The purpose of the study was to test the effectiveness of self management counseling in reducing students' problematic smartphone use. A quantitative experimental method with a pretest posttest design using repeated actions is applied in this study. There are 6 students who perform as test subject, which was taken from their characteristic of highest problematic smartphone use that analyzed by using mixed ancova repeated measures. The instrument is Problematic Smartphone Use Scale (PSUS) (Kwon et al., 2013). Self management Counseling is conducted in 7 sessions for each counselee in the form of individual counseling. The results showed the average T1 value of 56,17 (SD = 3,37) which then arrived at the T4 measurement obtained with an average of 42,50 (SD = 32,27). As in general, the self management counseling is effective in reducing students' problematic smartphone use. Based on the results of this study, a self management approach can be recommended for guidance and counseling teachers to be able to apply this method as an effort to reduce students' problematic smartphone use at school.

Collaboration skills is one of the competencies in 21st century skills that are very important in life, especially for the younger generation to develop themselves in learning as well as prepare their competencies to become a competitive workforce in the global era. This study aims to determine the relationship between body image, self-adjustment, and collaboration ability. This study uses a quantitative approach with ex post facto methods and correlational design. The results showed (1) There was no relationship between body image and the collaboration ability of SMA Karangturi Semarang students (p>0.01, =0.055) (2) There was a positive and significant relationship between self-adjustment and collaboration skills of SMA Karangturi Semarang students ( p<0.01, =0.646 (3) There is a positive relationship between body image and self-adjustment with the collaboration ability of SMA Karangturi Semarang students with (p>0.01, R=0.658; F=0.433). So it can be concluded that body image has no effect on collaboration ability. Then the higher the student's self-adjustment ability, the higher the collaboration ability. In addition, simultaneously the body image and self-adjustment variables have a positive influence on students' collaboration abilities, so the higher the student's body image and self-adjustment, the higher their collaboration abilities.

This study aims to determine that the relationship between self-efficacy and parents aspiration with the interest in advanced studies to college of students either partially or jointly. This research uses correlation quantitative design. The sample used amounted to 160 of the population of 283 students with random sampling technique. Data collection tools use self-efficacy scales, parent`s aspiration scales, and the interest in advanced studies to college scales. We using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression to data analyzed. The result showed that there are significant correlations between (1) self-efficacy and the interest for collage, dan; (2) parents aspiration and the interest in advanced studies to college. Furthermore, relationship between self-efficacy and parents aspiration with the interests student in advance studies also had significant correlation. In this study it was also revealed that the contribution of the influence of self-efficacy and parents aspiration to the interests student in advance studies (to college) was 33.9%.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan keterlibatan orang tua terhadap efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier yang dilakukan pada sampel yang terlibat sebanyak 400 peserta didik yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Hipotesis penelitian ini bahwa neuroticism dan extraversion memediasi hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua dengan efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala psikologi yang diadaptasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis mediasi dengan teknik bootstrap bias corrected method dengan confidential interval 95%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua memprediksi efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier dan extraversion, namun tidak dapat memprediksi neuroticism,sedangkan neuroticism dapat memprediksi efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier, selanjutnya extraversion memediasi hubungan keterlibatan orang tua dengan efikasi diri pengambilan keputusan karier. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman bagi konselor mengenai hubungan keterlibatan orang tua serta pengaruh aspek personal (efikasi diri dankepribadian) dalam pemilihan karier.__________________________________________________________ This study aims to determine the relationship of parental involvement to career decision making self-efficacy carried out in the sample involved as many as 400 students selected using cluster random sampling technique. The hypothesis that neuroticism and extraversion mediate the relationship between parental involvement and career decision makingself-efficacy. Methods of data collection using an adapted psychological scale. Data analysis method used is descriptive analysis and mediation analysis with corrected method bias bootstrap technique with 95% confidential intervals. The results showed that parental involvement predicts career decision making self-efficacy and extraversion, but cannot predict neuroticism,while neuroticism can predict the career decision makingself-efficacy, furthermore extraversion mediates the relationship of parental involvement with career decision making self-efficacy. This study provides counselors with an understanding of the relationship of parental involvement and the influence of personal aspects (self-efficacy and personality) in career selection.

Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk melatih e-counseling pada guru BK/konselor pendidikan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan e-counseling di kalangan konselor pendikan atau guru BK dalam rangka menyongsong era masyarakat 5.0. E-counseling merupakan proses konseling yang dilakukan oleh konselor profesional kepada konseli dengan memanfaatkan teknologi. Pelatihan ini diberikan kepada 25 Konselor pedidikan yang tergabung dalam ikatan alaumni BK UNNES. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan dengan metode online training dengan dua metode yaitu sinkron dan asinkron yang dilaksanakan selama dua hari melalui aplikasi zoom meeting dan google classroom. Untuk mengukur keterampilan peserta dalam mengaplikasikan e-counseling menggunakan instrument e-counseling. Hasil pelatihan ini menjukan adanya peningkatan kemampuan e-counseling pada peserta yang ditujukan dengan peningkatan skor pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan hasil pelatihan menujukan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan kemampuan konselor sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pelatihan e-counseling. Selanjutnya para peserta pelatihan memberikan feedback positif karena pelatihan ini dinilai memberikan wawasan baru bagi mereka berkaitan dengan e-counseling dan berharap pelatihan dapat diberikan lebih intens dan lebih sering sebagai upaya meningkatkan kompetensi dan keprofesionalan guru BK/konselor pendidikan

In this study, researchers aimed to find out the relationship of family cohesiveness and internal locus of control with the career maturity of SMKS PGRI Blora students for the 2021/2022 School Year. This type of research is correlational quantitative research. The population in the study is all students of SMKS PGRI Blora class X, XI, and XII in the 2021/2022 school year which amounts to 256 students. The study sample was taken by proportionate stratified random sampling method of 149 students. The instruments used in the study were career maturity inventory, family cohesive scale, and internal locus of control scale. Data analysis techniques use product moment correlation analysis and double correlation. The results of the product moment correlation analysis showed that there was no significant relationship between family cohesiveness and career maturity, while between the internal locus of control and career maturity there was a significant relationship with a moderate correlation value of 0.457, and from the results of the double correlation analysis obtained a significance value of F change = 0.000 or > 0.05, which means there is a significant relationship between family cohesiveness and internal locus of control with the career maturity of students with a score of R = 0.532 that indicate a relationship or correlation between family cohesiveness and internal locus of control with career maturity are categorized as moderate and the contribution or contribution or simultaneous contribution of family cohesiveness variables and internal locus of control with career maturity of 21%, while 79% is influenced by other variables.

This study aims to determine the relationship of self-control, group counseling services, and self-acceptance of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Ungaran. This research is a type of quantitative research with ex post facto research methods and correlational research design. The research subjects were 161 students from 314 students with a sampling technique that was random sampling. The instrument used in this study consisted of a self-control scale, a scale of experience following group counseling and a scale of self-acceptance. The validity test uses the product moment formula and the reliability test uses the alpha formula and to analyze the data using the data normality test, linearity test, product moment and multiple correlation. The results of the analysis show that the significant value of the relationship between self-control and the experience of participating in group counseling on self-acceptance is 0.000 <0.05 and the R-value is 0.532. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between self-control and the experience of participating in group counseling on self-acceptance and is categorized as moderate

This study examined the effectiveness of motivational interviewing in alleviating students' smartphone addiction. To this end, an experimental study with a repeated pretest-posttest design was applied. This study involved six students recruited using a purposive sampling technique based on their high smartphone addiction level. The data were collected using Kwon et al.'s (2013) smartphone addiction scale -short version (SAS-SV) and analyzed using mixed ANCOVA repeated measure. The motivational interviewing was conducted in four sessions for each participant, which was in the form of an individual counseling session. The study result showed that the mean score of T1 was 56.67 (SD =1.75) and dropped to 30.67 in T4 (SD = 0.82). In general, motivational interviewing is effective in reducing students' smartphone addiction. This study showed that motivational interviewing is recommended for school counselors in order to reduce students' smartphone addiction.

Background: The engagement of nursing students is very important and can affect their progress and success in the nursing profession in the future. The purpose of this research is to identify and explore the engagement of nursing students in the classroom and in clinical practice. Methods: This study used a systematic review design. This research used a database of indexed international journals such as Pubmed, Google Scholar, Science Direct, and BMC for the period 2011–2021 to search for research articles and analyze results using the PRISMA flow diagram. Research articles have been screened according to the inclusion criteria of this research, namely those containing student engagement or the engagement of nursing students in the classroom or clinical practice. Results: We obtained 12 research articles. Nursing students' engagement in the learning process takes place in two environments: the classroom and the clinical environment. Various studies on the engagement of nursing students showed a high level of engagement in the learning process that is influenced by various factors, including students, a student's relationships with other students, teachers, student-teacher/clinical instructor relationships, learning strategies, learning methods, and student relationships with the learning environment. Conclusion: The engagement of nursing students is important for their progress in their future profession because the level of engagement will lead to various short-term and long-term learning outcomes.

Seiring perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat, terkadang tidak disadari muncul dampak risiko di tengah kemudahan yang diperoleh. Data dari studi penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para remaja di sekolah mengalami berbagai masalah kesehatan mental yang tidak dapat diremehkan. Masalah kesehatan mental yang dialami perlu diatasi, salah satunya mengembangkan sikap welas asih siswa terhadap dirinya sendiri. Sejauh ini guru BK di sekolah sudah memberikan layanan untuk membantu siswa dalam mengatasi masalahnya, namun masih memerlukan pengembangan. Sementara itu, layanan konseling kelompok masih sangat jarang diimplementasikan di lingkungan sekolah. Oleh karena itu, tim pengabdian bermaksud untuk membantu meningkatkan karakter welas asih siswa melalui kegiatan pelatihan konseling kelompok kepada guru BK agar semakin terampil dalam menggunakan Solution-Focused Group Counseling (SFGC). Metode pengabdian yang digunakan yaitu komprehensif mencakup refleksi, group discussion, simulasi, dan praktik tersupervisi pada 37 guru BK SMK di kota Semarang. Berdasarkan analisis pada data pre-test dan post-test, diperoleh hasil bahwa rata-rata kemampuan peserta pengabdian dalam melaksanakan konseling kelompok meningkat pasca pelatihan. Target berkelanjutan dari pengabdian ini adalah guru-guru BK menerapkan konseling kelompok berfokus solusi di sekolah sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan karakter welas asih siswa
