Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of teachers at Raden Rahmad Mojosari Vocational School in Mojokerto, East Java in writing scientific papers. This training program, called SI-Kepo Workshop, combines online and offline sessions to provide an understanding of how to create a Google Scholar account, write scientific articles, and submit manuscripts to national journals. The training includes theoretical explanations and practical assignments tailored to the interests of the participants. The results of the training showed a significant increase in the knowledge and skills of participants in preparing and submitting scientific articles. However, the effectiveness of writing still needs to be improved through ongoing and more structured training programs. It is hoped that this training can be the beginning of a routine program that focuses on teacher professional development in scientific writing.

Abstract

Schools in SD 4 Gulang, Kudus Regency, currently need help in implementing the independent curriculum due to instructors' difficulties in setting themes, selecting sub-themes, determining activities, compiling project modules, and assessing their implementation. This mentoring method consists of seven in-person and online meetings. The results of the assistance demonstrated that SD 4 Gulang was able to modify the project module to strengthen the Pancasila profile of grade 1 students. Project 1's theme and topic were Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurship Processing Waste, while Project 2's theme was Local Wisdom. My Snacks, My Culture is the topic. Each project's activity phase is divided into the introduction, contextualization, follow-up action, and reflection stages, respectively. Class IV project implementation for Project 1 has the theme of entrepreneurship, with the topic of turning trash into a blessing, and Project 2 has the theme of local knowledge, with the topic of consuming Kudus-style snacks. Strengthening the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile The project activities at SD 4 Gulang are conducted in accordance with the prepared activity flow, and the assessment is based on the dimensions, elements, and sub-elements that have been determined. Abstract

The application of learning methods in terms of suitability and effectiveness of the characteristics of learning materials and students. This research is to understand: (1) the workings of applying learning and discussion methods that can improve student learning outcomes. (2) Learning Implementation Methods Learning Methods on Student Learning Outcomes. (3) Learning Implementation Methods Learning and Learning Methods for Student Learning Outcomes to Subjects of Economic Subjects of Taxation. Classroom Action Research with Qualitative approval. The population of this study were 38 students. Data collection using the Pre Test and Post Test methods in Cycle I and Cycle II. Pre Test scores are a reference to students' abilities before applying the learning and recitation learning methods, while the post test scores are used to reflect student learning outcomes after applying the recitation and discussion learning methods. KKM Economics subjects in Class XI IPS MA ABU DZARRIN Kendal Bojonegoro amounted to 75. Student assistance is considered Completed (T) if the test score is equal to or more than 75, suitable students Not Completed (TT) use test scores less than 75. Data analysis Obtained the results of research (1) Student pre-test scores before applying the learning and discussion methods very much that have not met the KKM of 52.6%. (2) The results of the improvement of learning cycle I by applying recitation and discussion methods only 60.5% of students who meet the KKM while 39.5% of students scored below the KKM. (3) The results of improving cycle II It is estimated that 92% of students have reached the KKM. Increasing student learning outcomes in the second cycle is very significant, then determined recitation learning methods and discussions can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah menyajikan kegiatan pendampingan yang dilakukan di TK Plus Al Ikhlas Surabaya dalam penyusunan goal setting dengan pendekatan partisipatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam pendampingan ini adalah pendekatan partisipatif, sehingga pendamping tidak memposisikan sebagai naras umber tetapi sebagai fasilitator, motivator, inovator, katalisator, dan dinamisator.Secara garis besar terdapat 3 tahapan dalam pendampingan yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan pelaporan. Pada saat pelaksanaan pendampingan diawali dengan diskusi Bersama kepala sekolah, setelah itu dilanjutkan dengan peningkatan kapasitas tentang kemampuan memformulasikan goal setting, dilanjutkan dengan FGD goal setting sekolah, sosialisasi kepada wali murid, dan penyampaian draf kebijakan pendukung kepada Yayasan. Hasil pendampingan ini berupa goal setting yang isinya adalah TK Plus Al Ikhlas adalah mendapat peserta didik baru naik 100 % pada tahun pelajaran 2025/2026, dan memasuki tahun pelajaran 2024/2025 subscriber channel youtube TK Plus Al Ikhlash meningkat 100%. Selain goal setting dirumuskan juga kebijakan pendukung yang harus dilakukan oleh Yayasan serta kegiatan yang mengarah pada pencapaian goal setting baik yang dilakukan oleh guru, maupun yang dilakukan oleh wali murid.

Abstract

Hidayatul Arifin Islamic Boarding School (Hidar) Sawocangkring Wonoayu Sidoarjo is a boarding school that has 3 programs, namely the Entrepreneur Program, the Yellow Book Study Program, and the Tahfidz Al-Qur'an Program. The purpose of this study was to determine the Al-Qur'an tahfidz learning system at Hidayatul Arifin Islamic Boarding School and to find out the supporting and inhibiting factors of the tahfidz learning system. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive research method. In qualitative research, the results of written documentation, interviews and other sources such as: scientific journals, archival sources and documents are taken. The results showed that the tahfidz learning system at the Hidayatul Arifin Islamic Boarding School was to produce students who had an understanding of the yellow book, hafidz Al-Qur'an and Entrepreneurs. The tahfidz teachers who teach tahfidz at the Hidayatul Arifin Islamic Boarding School are hafidz who also understand the book of the Salaf. The learning media used by the Hidayatul Arifin Islamic Boarding School are print media and audio-visual media. Furthermore, the learning methods used by the Hidayatul Arifin Islamic Boarding School are the Bin-Nazhar method, the Talaqqi method, and the Poetry Method.

Abstract

Writing skills are a specific perspective that allows writers to put their thoughts into words. Students mentally connect with words and messages through writing skills. Writing, on the other hand, is a difficult skill to master. It requires the ability to combine words and sentences. The researcher used qualitative research. Qualitative research methods focus on in-depth understanding, interpretation, and disclosure of the meaning of the data collected. The type of research used by the researcher is a case study. A case study is used because the researcher can understand the context, process, and complexity of the phenomenon under study. This type of research allows the researcher to explore perspectives, experiences, and meanings in the data collected related to An Analysis of Factors that Affectefl Studentsaffect students research results can provide deep, contextual, and detailed insights into the case under study, which can be used to inform policies, practices, or further theoretical development. The subjects in this study are English Education Students at a University in Jakarta, Indonesia. Based on the findings and discussion, it can be concluded that students who are less motivated, less confident, and do not want to practice writing are due to several interrelated factors. These factors are a misunderstanding of writing, lack of experience, and negative self-perception. Misunderstanding writing can make students feel that writing is difficult and boring. Lack of experience can lead students not to have the skills they need to write well. Negative self-perception can lead students to feel that they are not good writers and will never be able to improve their skills. Therefore, to improve students' motivation, confidence, and interest in writing, efforts must be made to address these factors. Teachers and students must collaborate to develop effective and efficient writing learning strategies.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to assess the efficacy of the conventional congklak game in enhancing numeracy abilities among primary school pupils in Kudus. The capacity to enumerate is a fundamental skill in the field of mathematics education, which is sometimes regarded as tedious by young learners. This study employed an experimental research approach and included a sample of 100 students representing diverse social and economic backgrounds. The employed methodologies encompass literature review, documentation, direct observation, and pre-test and post-test assessments to evaluate students' numeracy abilities. In addition, questionnaires and interviews were used to analyse several dimensions like learning motivation, social interaction, and family environmental support. The findings indicated that pupils who were taught utilizing the congklak game shown a notable enhancement in their numeracy abilities in comparison to students who employed traditional approaches, with an average rate of improvement of 28%. Furthermore, the congklak game has been empirically shown to enhance both learning motivation and social interaction among students. The findings of this study validate the need of including conventional games within the primary education curriculum in order to establish a learning environment that is both entertaining and efficient. Therefore, this study provides a substantial contribution to the advancement of novel and efficient learning methodologies. The findings from this study can serve as a valuable resource for policy makers and educators in developing a curriculum that is both engaging and effective in enhancing students' fundamental skills.

Abstract

This study examines the perspectives of private school teachers in Indonesia regarding their preparedness for the role of school principal. The study focuses on the challenges faced by newly appointed principals, who typically lack formal certifications and instead rely on their teaching experience. Using a qualitative approach, the study employed interviews with teachers and an analysis of relevant documents. The findings reveal that many new principals feel inadequately prepared for their leadership responsibilities, particularly in areas such as curriculum management, human resources, school finance, stakeholder relations, and educational policy. The study highlights the importance of leadership training for teachers aspiring to principal positions. It recommends that prospective principals undergo comprehensive training programs, including certification, to ensure they are adequately equipped to manage schools effectively. This recommendation is crucial for the development of competent school leaders who can contribute to educational reforms in Indonesia.

Abstract

Permasalahan limbah ikan lele di Desa Kebonagung, Sidoarjo, menimbulkan dampak lingkungan negatif, seperti bau tidak sedap dan pencemaran air. Pendekatan Zero Waste Process (ZWP) menawarkan solusi dengan mengubah limbah menjadi produk bernilai tambah, meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga. Studi sebelumnya membuktikan efektivitas ZWP dalam sektor perikanan, meningkatkan nilai ekonomi produk dan mengurangi dampak lingkungan. Desa Kebonagung berpotensi besar dalam pengembangan produk olahan lele melalui ZWP. Pendampingan pada tahun 2024 meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga sebesar 25% dalam enam bulan pertama. Kendala utama sebelum ZWP adalah kurangnya pengetahuan, akses teknologi, dan dukungan terkait pengolahan limbah. Namun, masyarakat memiliki pengalaman dalam budidaya lele dan keterampilan pengolahan makanan, didukung oleh pelatihan dan penyediaan peralatan dari pemerintah dan organisasi non-pemerintah. Program ZWP mengurangi volume limbah hingga 40% dan meningkatkan pendapatan dari produk olahan, memperkuat kapasitas masyarakat untuk mengelola sumber daya secara berkelanjutan dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada bantuan eksternal.Kata Kunci:  Limbah ikan lele; Zero Waste Process (ZWP); Peningkatan pendapatan; Pengembangan produk olahan

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan investasi pemberdayaan sosial guna mendukung keberhasilan berwirausaha masyarakat tani di Desa Tawang Rejeni, Turen, Malang. Melalui pendekatan Community-Based Research (CBR), program ini melibatkan empat tahapan utama: laying the foundation, perencanaan, pengumpulan dan analisis informasi, serta implementasi program berbasis hasil analisis. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kapasitas masyarakat tani dalam kewirausahaan, pengolahan produk lokal, serta penguatan kelembagaan sosial melalui pembentukan kelompok tani. Perubahan signifikan terjadi pada kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kolaborasi sosial dan penerapan praktik usaha profesional. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah akses modal dan pemasaran, yang diatasi melalui penguatan jaringan dengan lembaga keuangan dan mitra strategis. Temuan ini mempertegas pentingnya sinergi antara modal sosial, pemberdayaan ekonomi, dan penguatan kelembagaan dalam mencapai transformasi sosial yang berkelanjutan. Rekomendasi difokuskan pada perluasan pelatihan, digitalisasi pemasaran, dan pendampingan berkelanjutan.
