Abstract

Currently, land area, production and maize prices in West Nusa Tenggara province are sometimes unstable. One of the factors affecting the instability of maize prices is the shift in planting patterns at the farm level. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of land area and total production on the selling price of maize. The method used is quantitative with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression. The source of data is from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Department of Agriculture and Plantation of NTB. The regression equation found is Y = 3109.911 + 0.007X1 - 0.001X2. This result shows that the X1 variable of 0.007 means that every time there is an increase in the land area variable by 1%, the selling price increases by 7%. While the X2 variable decreased by 1%. The hypothesis with the calculation of the partial t-test of land area is 1.249, which means that land area has no influence on the selling price of NTB corn in 2012-2021. In future research, it is necessary to conduct research on the development of corn planting land area, production, productivity per unit of land area nationally associated with the rate of population growth, corn demand, and the growth of corn imports nationally.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze more deeply the effectiveness of problem-based learning (PBL) in improving students' critical thinking skills, especially in exact and non-exact subject areas. Data were synthesized from 30 relevant research results over the past 10 years, then analyzed using meta-analysis through effect size (ES) and standard error (SE) values to see the summary effect size. The results of the analysis using JASP software showed that the level of effectiveness in exact and non-exact subjects was 65% and 92%, respectively. This shows that the effectiveness of the PBL learning model in improving students' critical thinking skills is higher in non-exact materials. Furthermore, the results of the analysis based on the level of education show that at the high school level has an effect of 89%, this value is higher than the elementary level of 69% and junior high school of 83%. Thus, in the future, the application of the PBL model is highly emphasized to be implemented at the high school level for non-exact subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan evaluasi hasil pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Android di tingkat Sekolah Dasar selama satu dekade. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif tipe meta-analisis, dengan sumber data berasal dari hasil-hasil penelitian yang relevan yang telah ditelusuri di database pengindek yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan inklusi dan eksklusi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kevalidan media pembelajaran berbasis Android mencapai 91,7%, menunjukkan bahwa media tersebut dapat diandalkan dalam menyajikan konten pendidikan yang akurat dan sesuai standar. Selain itu, tingkat kepraktisan media pembelajaran mencapai 92%, menunjukkan kemudahan penggunaan dan implementasi dalam konteks pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar. Tingkat keefektivan media pembelajaran berbasis Android juga tinggi, dengan nilai sebesar 90%, menandakan bahwa media tersebut dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pemahaman kita tentang pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Android di tingkat Sekolah Dasar. Dampak praktis dari penelitian ini terhadap praktik pendidikan adalah memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pengembangan dan implementasi lebih lanjut media pembelajaran berbasis Android di tingkat Sekolah Dasar, dengan tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektivan yang tinggi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa secara signifikan.

Abstract

Educators need to think about the difficulties that students often face when faced with high-order thinking skills in order to improve the teaching and learning system through the use of the right learning methods. This study aims to compare learning outcomes between using the Student Facilitator and Explaining the learning model with Discovery Learning powered by Geogebra to help students be critical, creative, and innovative in solving problems in the form of High Order Thinking Skills questions to think about in the context of science and everyday life. This experiment uses quantitative methods and is conducted in two classes XI with a total of 32 samples, namely 13 students of Experiment A and 19 students of Experiment B. This study uses instruments in the form of HOTS questions, consisting of 5 descriptive questions with pre-test and post-test designs so that the generated data is tested with JASP and SPSS software. In the Geogebra-powered Discovery Learning model, the p-value is 0.059 with an average of 20.000, while in the Geogebra-powered Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model, the p-value is 0.276 with an average of 52.947. Thus, the learning model suitable for the application of Geogebra software is Student Facilitator and Explaining based on the generated data and has a higher learning outcome value than the pre-test and post-test of the Discovery Learning learning model. This research can be a reference for education in education because of the need for proper technology to support the teaching and learning activities for students.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 40 mahasiswa, terdiri dari 9 mahasiswa laki-laki dan 31 mahasiswi perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket Skala Likert dengan 15 pertanyaan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji-t. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi sejauh mana tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap integrasi teknologi dalam konteks pembelajaran statistik. Partisipasi dari 40 mahasiswa menjadi representatif dari populasi mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran ini. Instrumen angket Skala Likert digunakan untuk menggali persepsi dan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan teknologi dalam pembelajaran statistik. Hasil analisis data menggunakan uji-t menunjukkan nilai sebesar 0.032 dengan signifikansi 0.975. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa sebelum dan setelah penerapan integrasi teknologi. Meskipun demikian, nilai ini membuka peluang untuk eksplorasi lebih lanjut mengenai faktor-faktor yang mungkin mempengaruhi persepsi mahasiswa terhadap integrasi teknologi dalam pembelajaran statistik. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga untuk pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan mendukung implementasi teknologi dalam kurikulum statistik.Abstract: This research employs a quantitative approach through a survey methodology, involving 40 participants, consisting of 9 male students and 31 female students. The instrument utilized is a Likert Scale questionnaire comprising 15 items, and data analysis is conducted through a t-test. The primary objective is to investigate the extent of students' satisfaction with the integration of technology in the context of statistics education. The participation of 40 students is considered representative of the broader student population engaged in the learning process. The Likert Scale questionnaire serves as an instrument to explore students' perceptions and satisfaction levels regarding the utilization of technology in statistics education. The findings from the t-test analysis reveal a value of 0.032 with a significance level of 0.975. These results suggest no significant difference in students' satisfaction levels before and after the implementation of technology integration. Nevertheless, this outcome paves the way for further exploration into factors that may influence students' perceptions of technology integration in statistics education. The study provides valuable insights for the development of more effective teaching strategies and supports the integration of technology into the statistics curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to conduct a systematic literature review on the development of mathematical models for forecasting energy consumption using a probabilistic approach, particularly focusing on the Bayesian Dynamic Linear Model (BDLM). The research method employed is Systematic Literature Review (SLR), utilizing literature sources indexed in Scopus, DOAJ, and Google Scholar, with publication dates ranging from 2014 to 2024. The findings of the research indicate that the application of BDLM has made a significant contribution to the optimization of energy management, especially in sectors such as industry and commercial buildings. The study highlights the effectiveness of BDLM in accurately predicting energy consumption through a probabilistic approach that efficiently manages uncertainty. However, the research also emphasizes that BDLM presents limitations and challenges that warrant attention, including the complexity involved in parameter determination and model validation processes, as well as the importance of addressing potential biases and considering factors such as deployment impacts. This research provides deep insights into the potential and challenges in the development of mathematical models for forecasting energy consumption, while also offering directions for further research in this field.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kompetensi menyusun karya tulis ilmiah saat ini sangat penting dimiliki oleh setiap siswa. Sehingga perlu adanya upaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman atau kompetensi siswa sebagai bekal ketika akan melanjutkan ke pendidikan yang lebih tinggi. Kami telah memberikan informasi kepada 34 siswa yang tergabung dalam kelompok ilmiah remaja di jenjang SMA di Lombok Tengah. Kegiatan diawali dengan penyampaian materi tentang artikel ilmiah berstandar jurnal terkareditasi nasional, kemudian diakhiri dengan diskusi dan pemberian tes evaluasi sebanyak enam soal kepada peserta. Hasil evaluasi diperoleh informasi bahwa rata-rata pemahaman siswa sebesar 81 dengan nilai terendah sebesar 50 dan tertinggi sebesar 100. Ini menunjukkan kegiatan telah terlaksana dengan baik. Di masa mendatang diharapkan kegiatan seperti ini tetap dilaksanakan agar diperoleh pemahaman yang maksimal oleh siswa pada setiap indikator capaian.Abstract: The competence of compiling scientific papers is currently very important for every student. So it is necessary to make efforts to improve these competencies as provisions when going to higher education. We have provided information to 34 students who are members of youth scientific groups at the high school level in Central Lombok. The activity began with the delivery of material on scientific articles of national standardized journals, then ended with a discussion and giving an evaluation test of six questions to the participants. The evaluation results obtained information that the average student understanding was 81 with the lowest score of 50 and the highest of 100. This shows that the activity has been carried out well. In the future, it is hoped that activities like this will continue to be carried out in order to obtain maximum understanding by students on each achievement indicator.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan analisis yang lebih mendalam terhadap peran laboratorium virtual dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Data yang digunakan terdiri dari 46 artikel penelitian yang diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan metode meta-analisis dengan memanfaatkan nilai effect size (ES) dan standard error (SE), dan hasilnya diolah melalui perangkat lunak JASP untuk mendapatkan nilai summary effect. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa laboratorium virtual memiliki dampak positif signifikan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa, dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 76% atau 0.76, yang masuk dalam kategori efek tinggi. Lebih lanjut, analisis berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan mengindikasikan bahwa dampak positif ini berbeda-beda, yakni sebesar 74% di tingkat Perguruan Tinggi, 79% di tingkat SMA, dan 71% di tingkat SMP. Terdapat peningkatan nilai yang lebih signifikan pada tingkat SMA, menunjukkan bahwa implementasi laboratorium virtual seharusnya lebih difokuskan di tingkat tersebut di masa mendatang. Abstract: The purpose of this study is to analyze more deeply about virtual laboratories in improving students' creative thinking skills. The data obtained were 46 articles from previous research published in the last 5 years, then analyzed using meta-analysis through the effect size (ES) value and standard error (SE) to see the summary effect value using JASP software. The results show that virtual laboratories can improve students' creative thinking skills with an average value of 76% or 0.76 with a high effect category. Furthermore, the results of the analysis based on the level of education show that the university level has an effect of 74%, high school level of 79%, and junior high school of 71%. The greater value at the high school level, so that in the future, virtual laboratories are highly emphasized to be implemented at the high school level.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of learning outcomes in grade VI students of Primary school 15 Ampenan through the TPACK approach. This research uses descriptive quantitative data analysis type, with classroom action research method, this research was conducted in two cycles, with a total of 13 students. Each cycle consists of action planning, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques using tests. The results showed student learning outcomes in cycle I with a percentage of 69% learning completeness or 9 students who reached the minimum completeness criteria out of 13 students and in cycle II presentation of learning completeness of 85% or 11 students out of 13 the total number. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference by teachers at school to apply the TPACK approach.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the relationship between lecturer support, classroom environment, and several student psychological factors such as mathematical resilience, self-efficacy, and self-confidence. The research subjects consisted of 77 mathematics education students. The research instrument was a 38-question questionnaire. The results of data analysis showed that students gave positive responses with an average of 80.03 to lecturer support, 75.66 to the classroom environment, 79.15 to mathematical resilience, 80.57 to self-efficacy, and 75.95 to self-confidence. Furthermore, multiple linear regression analysis showed that lecturer support and classroom environment significantly influenced students' mathematical resilience by 26.7%, self-efficacy by 25.5%, and self-confidence by 30.2%. This finding indicates that the implementation of learning both in the classroom and outside the classroom is considered quite good by students. It also provides a deeper understanding of the factors that contribute to students' learning experience. The implications of this finding suggest developing strategies to improve the quality of learning by taking into account aspects of lecturer support and physical and social environmental conditions. Thus, it is expected to support students' academic achievement and personal development optimally.
