Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a decent, practical, and effective Direct Instruction-based booklet learning media. This research is development research using the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. Booklet development research was carried out at SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. The results of the research are in the form of Direct Instruction-based booklet products on personal letter writing material. The results of the questionnaire assessment of individual trial student responses obtained a score of 97.7% in the very practical category. In the small group trial, a score of 98.5% was obtained in the very practical category. In the field trial, a score of 90.1% was obtained in the very practical category. Assessment of student learning outcomes tests obtained a percentage of classical completeness in individual trials of 95.0% very effective category. In the small group trial 95.05 the category was very effective. In field trials 94.1% category is very effective. So, the research above, it was concluded that the Direct Instruction-based booklet learning media is feasible, practical, and effective to use so that it fulfills the research objectives.

Abstract

The observation results obtained were that students tend to get bored studying using existing printed books. The purpose of this research is (1) to develop e-modules. (2) to determine the feasibility of the e-module (3) to determine the practicality of the e-module, (4) to determine the effectiveness of the e-module. The method used is ADDIE which has 5 stages consisting of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the results of research by validation by material experts, the first revision was 56%, the second revision was 75.8% and the third revision was 94.8%. The results of validation by linguists in the first revision were 71%, the second revision was 78% and the third revision was 100%. The results of validation by media experts in the first revision were 52%, the second revision was 73% and the third revision was 96%. The results of individual trials were 86.6%, small group trials were 90%, and field trials were 97%. The completeness results obtained at the final evaluation reached 98.5% completeness. So, it can be concluded that e-modules can be said to be feasible, practical, and effective as learning references. Researchers suggest that through e-module media students will be motivated to learn

Abstract

Literary work is a place and a place for an author to express a picture of life in which there are creations and imagination as well as support for life experiences that are poured out. Literary works are created to convey moral messages that have deep meaning and cannot be separated from the problems of everyday life. In this study, the main problem is how the moral values ​​in the novel "Orang Aneh" by Albert Camus. This study aims to describe the moral values ​​contained in the novel "Orang Aneh" by Albert Camus. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. techniques in analyzing the data in this study, namely: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the moral values ​​contained in the novel "Orang Aneh" by Albert Camus consist of 3 (three) forms of moral values, namely: the moral values ​​of human relations with oneself, the moral values ​​of human relations with other humans, and moral value of human relationship with God

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop comic learning media on the material of analyzing the structure of biography text in class X SMK Negeri 1 Lotu which is valid/worthy, practical, and effective. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development). The development model used is the 4D model which consists of four stages, namely the Define stage, Design stage, develop stage, and Disseminate stage. Comic learning media developed through the validity test stage by three validators (material and content experts, linguists, and design experts), small group tests and field tests conducted in class X DPIB SMK Negeri 1 Lotu. Based on the results of research conducted by three validators/experts, comic learning media has been tested valid and feasible by 100% material and content expert validators, 100% language expert validators, and 96% design expert validators. The practicality of comic learning media in the small group test was 93%, and the field test was 94% with very practical criteria. The effectiveness of comic learning media has also been tested very effective with the percentage of classical completeness in the small group test of 100%, and the field test of 87.5%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the development of Booklets on material summarizing fiction books grade VII SMP Negeri 2 North Gunungsitoli. This type of research is development (Research and Development). The development model used is the Hannafin and Peck model which consists of four phases namely needs analysis, design, development and implementation and Evaluation and Revision. This Booklet product was developed through a validity test stage by three validators (material experts, linguists, and design experts), small group tests, and large group trials. The results of data analysis, Booklet products on the material summarizing class VII fiction books have been tested valid and feasible by material expert validators in revision III 100%, linguist validators in revision II 94.2%, and design expert validators in revision II 98.4%. The practicality of Booklet in small group trials was 97.2%, and large group trials were 96.9% with very practical categories. Booklet's effectiveness has also been shown to be highly effective with an average hearing for small group trials of 84.3% and large group trials of 96.5%. Based on the results of the research above, the Booklet in the material summarizes the fiction book grade VII SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara which has been developed with the Hannafin and Peck model has met the requirements and is suitable for use

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a decent, practical, and effective Inquiry-based pocketbook learning media. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model which consists of analysis (Analyze), design (Design), development (Development), implementation (Implementation), evaluation (Evaluation). The research instruments used were questionnaires validating material experts, linguists, and design experts, as well as student response questionnaires and the effectiveness of student learning outcomes. The results of this research are in the form of inquiry-based pocketbook products on the material of identifying the elements of drama. Material expert assessment in revision I reached 71%, in revision II reached 96.3%, with very decent criteria. The assessment of linguists in revision I reached 82.1%, in revision II it reached 100%, with very decent criteria. The design expert's assessment in revision I was 40%, in revision II it reached 98.33% with very feasible criteria. The results of the assessment on the student response questionnaire in the small group trial obtained a score of 95.5% in the very practical category. In the field test, a score of 87.3% was obtained in the very practical category. Assessment of student learning outcomes tests obtained a percentage of classical completeness in 100% small group trials and 100% field trials with very effective criteria. From the results of the research above, pocketbooks are feasible, practical, and effective for use in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to write procedural texts of students of class IX B SMP Negeri 1 Alasa Talumuzoi by using Picture and Picture Learning Model. The type of research is Classroom Action Research with the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The research data is in the form of qualitative and quantitative data. The research sample was students of class IX B SMP Negeri 1 Alasa Talumuzoi. The results showed that in cycle I, the average score of students was 68.93 with the qualifications of excellent 7%, good 27%, sufficient 30%, and less 37%.  In cycle II, the average score of students was 83.67 with excellent qualifications 33.33%, good 50%, sufficient 16.67%. Based on the results of the study, the application of Picture and Picture Learning Model can improve the ability to write procedure text of students of class IX B SMP Negeri 1 Alasa Talumuzoi.

Abstract

Listening is something that requires genuine care and attention. This study aims to determine audiovisual-based learning on fantasy story material in students of SMP Negeri 4 South Gunungsitoli. This study is Classroom Action Research (PTK). 26 grade VII students were used as data sources for this study. The method of data analysis is carried out qualitatively. The research was conducted in two cycles, cycle I and cycle II, each of which lasted for four times the learning process. The findings of this study showed that twenty-two students were able to understand the material quite well. Therefore, it can be concluded that audiovisual learning media can help students listen to story material

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to assess the impact of using video media in improving the writing skills of description text in class VII-1 students at SMP Negeri 1 Alasa. The learning method involving video media was applied during the research period, focusing on vocabulary development sentence structure, conformity of content to the title and understanding of context. This study used Classroom Action Research Design (PTK), the type of data collection used was descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The population of this study was all students in SMP Negeri 1 Alasa, while the subjects used in this study were students of class VII-1 as many as 28 people. The results showed a significant improvement in the quality of students' writing, indicating that the utilization of video media proved effective in improving the ability to write descriptive texts at that grade level.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the poetry writing skills of grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 5 Gunungsitoli using the Examples Non-Examples Learning Model. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) activity is carried out in two cycles using quality and quantitative data analysis. The subjects of this study were 31 students of grade VIII-A SMP Negeri 5 Gunungsitoli. Data collection techniques using tests and non-tests consist of observation and interviews. The results of this study show that there is an increase in the ability to write poetry through the examples non examples learning model. It can be seen in the first cycle that the average score of students was 69.35 with a very good category of 19.35%, a good category of 41.94%, a sufficient category of 29.03%, and a less category of 9.68%. In the second cycle, the average score of students was 76.13 with a very good category of 38.71% and a good category of 61.29%. Based on the results of the study, the application of the Examples Non-Examples Learning Model can improve the poetry writing skills of grade VIII - A students of SMP Negeri 5 Gunungsitoli
