Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital-based madrasah leadership on teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Palembang. The study used a correlational quantitative method with a population of all teachers and madrasah principals, involving 45 teachers and 1 madrasah principal as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and regression. The results show that the digital leadership of the madrasah principal is in the good to very good category, especially in terms of digital vision and technology-based communication indicators. Overall, teacher performance is classified as good, especially in digital learning planning and implementation, although teacher professional development still needs to be improved. Regression analysis showed a positive and significant influence between digital leadership and teacher performance (β = 0.62; p < 0.05), indicating that digital leadership improves learning effectiveness and teacher motivation. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of digital leadership with Islamic values, strengthening a technology-based work culture in madrasahs. These findings provide practical and theoretical contributions to the development of digital leadership in Islamic education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the Imtaq and Tahsin Qur’an Programs at SMA Negeri 1 Rambutan. The study employs a qualitative method with a field study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Islamic Education teachers, homeroom teachers, tahsin instructors, and students; observations of religious activities and tahsin learning; as well as documentation such as activity schedules, implementation reports, and program evaluation archives. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the Imtaq program is implemented through well-planned religious habituation activities such as morning prayers, tadarus, salat duha, salat zuhur in congregation, and Islamic studies aimed at fostering spiritual discipline and noble character. Meanwhile, the Tahsin Qur’an program is carried out through gradual coaching based on students’ ability levels, using the talaqqi and sima’an methods, along with periodic evaluations that have proven effective in improving students’ Qur’anic reading quality. The implementation of both programs is supported by effective supervision systems and strong collaboration among the school, teachers, students, and parents, ensuring the programs run effectively and sustainably

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan gejala dan fenomena terkait implementasi program keagamaan di SMA Negeri 1 Rambutan. Penelitian ini merupakan field research dengan pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologis, melibatkan ketua program keagamaan, wakil kepala sekolah, dan kepala sekolah sebagai informan kunci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program keagamaan mencakup kegiatan harian, mingguan, bulanan, hingga kegiatan insidental, seperti doa bersama, sholat berjamaah, tilawah, kajian Jumat, dan peringatan hari besar Islam. Seluruh kegiatan tersebut diarahkan untuk membangun pembiasaan nilai religius, akhlak mulia, toleransi, dan kepedulian sosial. Para informan memandang program ini bukan sekadar kegiatan seremonial, tetapi strategi pembinaan yang efektif dalam membentuk pribadi peserta didik yang religius dan berkarakter kuat. Controlling program dilaksanakan secara sistematis melalui enam pilar: perencanaan terintegrasi, koordinasi rutin, monitoring lapangan, evaluasi berkala, pelibatan stakeholder, dan keteladanan. Program keagamaan terbukti menjadi pilar penting pembentukan karakter religius dan integritas peserta didik, sekaligus mendukung visi pendidikan yang menekankan keseimbangan antara kompetensi akademik, kedewasaan spiritual, dan kontribusi positif bagi masyarakat.

Abstract

Perkembangan informasi teknologi telah mengubah perpustakaan sekolah dari konvensional ke digital, memudahkan akses sumber belajar. Perpustakaan digital meningkatkan minat baca siswa dengan konten variatif seperti e-book dan video pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan peran perpustakaan digital dalam meningkatkan minat baca siswa Gen Z, serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat dalam pemanfaatannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dan pendekatan studi kepustakaan dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan digital berperan penting dalam meningkatkan akses informasi dan motivasi membaca siswa, terutama melalui penyajian konten yang menarik dan mudah dijangkau. Namun, implementasinya masih menghadapi kendala seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, literasi digital yang rendah, serta minimnya integrasi perpustakaan digital dalam proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa optimalisasi perpustakaan digital membutuhkan strategi holistik yang mencakup pengembangan koleksi, pelatihan literasi digital, integrasi pedagogis, serta perluasan akses teknologi. Dengan strategi pemilihan konten yang menarik, penambahan koleksi, integrasi dengan pembelajaran, peningkatan kompetensi literasi digital warga sekolah, dan penyediaan akses inklusif, perpustakaan digital dapat menjadi instrumen efektif untuk meningkatkan literasi siswa secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at the senior high school level requires active and inclusive approaches to accommodate students’ diverse intelligence profiles and to promote comprehensive internalization of Islamic values. One relevant approach is kinesthetic learning based on multiple intelligences. This study aims to analyze the strategies employed by PAI teachers in designing, implementing, and evaluating kinesthetic learning based on multiple intelligences at SMA Negeri 2 Palembang, as well as to identify its impact on students’ engagement and understanding. This research adopts a qualitative method with a case study approach. The findings indicate that PAI teachers integrate kinesthetic approaches with bodily-kinesthetic, interpersonal, and intrapersonal intelligences through activities such as Islamic history role-playing, Qur’anic memorization through movement, and collaborative group work. Despite challenges related to classroom management and limited facilities, these strategies effectively enhance students’ participation and internalization of religious values. The study concludes that the effectiveness of kinesthetic learning in Islamic education largely depends on teachers’ creativity, the alignment of instructional models with students’ intelligence profiles, and sustained institutional support and pedagogical training.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning based on Multiple Intelligences, focusing on linguistic and musical intelligences at Al-Azhar 45 Islamic Elementary School Palembang. Howard Gardner's theory of Multiple Intelligences offers a revolutionary perspective by recognizing that each individual possesses a unique combination of various types of intelligence. This qualitative research, employing a case study approach. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman's interactive model, incorporating triangulation techniques to ensure validity. The findings reveal that the implementation of learning begins with an observation of Multiple Intelligences to identify students' dominant intelligence profiles, followed by designing adaptive teaching modules. Development of linguistic intelligence is facilitated through reading, writing, storytelling, group discussions, and religious language games, while musical intelligence is developed through Islamic songs, melodic verse recitations, and the use of traditional instruments. Authentic assessment encompasses cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains without employing ranking systems. The results indicate significant impacts on students' social attitudes, including seven noble character indicators: honesty, discipline, responsibility, tolerance, cooperation, courtesy, and confidence. Students demonstrate increased empathy, collaboration skills, respect for others' opinions, and confidence in expressing their ideas. Multiple Intelligences-based learning creates holistic, meaningful, and enjoyable learning experiences, enabling deep internalization of Islamic values that manifest in sustainable behavioral changes in students’ daily lives.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze inquiry learning strategies in the formation of independent character of Generation Z in Madrasah Aliyah Private Babussalam Payaraman, and to analyze the implications of the application of these strategies on students' independent character. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which included the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that first, the inquiry learning strategy is applied through five main stages, namely: (a) defining problems (b) localize and limit the problem (c) formulate a hypothesis, (d) evaluating data and (e) draw conclusions, namely compiling the findings independently and logically based on the critical thinking process. Second, this strategy has been proven to be able to form the independent character of generation Z, namely: independence in the learning process, responsibility for tasks, courage in making decisions, the ability to reflect on oneself, perseverance in facing challenges, the habit of seeking additional information, high curiosity, the ability to control oneself in using digital media, and ethics and social responsibility. Third, the implications of this study show that inquiry learning strategies play a significant role in the formation of the independent character of Generation Z.

Abstract

The capacity of the principal in transformational leadership is essential to motivate and improve the professionalism of teachers in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to find out how transformational leadership improves teacher professionalism in SD Negeri 7 Talang Ubi. The principal as a leader plays many roles in the sustainability of the quality of education in schools. In their capacity as educators, teachers play a crucial role in interacting with and serving pupils. Transformational leadership is when a leader is considered to bring solutions to keep up with changing times. Methods used in This research are qualitative by collecting data through several techniques such as interviews, documentation, and field observations the triangulation method in this study. The collected data is then reduced according to the focus of the research, analyzed, and concluded. The principal, vice principal, teachers, and other staff members participated in this study. Current results show that transformational leadership is the most effective characteristic of a leader. By applying transformational leadership values, teachers' motivation to improve competence and professionalism increases by participating in various routine school activities, providing opportunities for teachers to express their opinions and direct teachers in their work positively impacting teacher behaviors.
