General Background: Bullying, as a persistent form of intentional oppression and violence, has become an escalating problem in schools, negatively affecting students’ academic and social development. Background (Specific): In the elementary school context, children often lack the resilience to face bullying, thus requiring character education rooted in moral and religious values. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have explored patience in Islamic teachings generally, yet limited research has contextualized the story of Prophet Yusuf as a medium to cultivate patience specifically in addressing bullying among elementary students. Aim: This study seeks to examine whether the story of Prophet Yusuf can foster patience in 5th grade students at SDN Tales 2 in responding to bullying. Results: Using qualitative methods through interviews, observations, and documentation, findings reveal that storytelling about Prophet Yusuf inspires students to endure bullying experiences with patience and refrain from retaliation. Novelty: The integration of Qur’anic narratives into character formation provides a contextual and practical approach to reducing negative behaviors in schools. Implications: The study suggests that incorporating religious storytelling in educational settings not only enriches moral education but also offers an effective strategy for fostering resilience and patience in young learners against bullying. Highlights: Story of Prophet Yusuf fosters patience against bullying. Religious storytelling strengthens character education in elementary schools. Penggunaan bahasa kotor yang terus-menerus oleh siswa, kemarahan dalam menanggapi nasihat instruktur, perundungan terhadap teman sekelas yang dianggap lebih lemah, dan pembangkangan terhadap perintah guru merupakan semua masalah yang disoroti oleh penelitian ini. Tindakan siswa saat berada di lingkungan sekolah, khususnya di kelas, memberikan bukti yang jelas tentang hal ini. Oleh karena itu, pendidikan karakter dipandang penting untuk diperkenalkan sejak usia muda di Indonesia, mengingat fakta bahwa moral siswa telah menurun sejak munculnya globalisasi. Indikator kehidupan komunal yang berkualitas tinggi adalah moralitas. -orang beragama memiliki asumsi bahwa agama selalu mengajarkan pengikutnya untuk berbuat baik dan melarangnya melakukan kesalahan. Sedangkan budayawan berasumsi moralitas seseorang diliat dari sebagaimana seseorang mematuhi nilai dan norma di masyarakat. Berdasarkan kajian literatur dari 14 artikel jurnal, ditemukan bahwa penguasaan kelas, etika sosial, dan kompetensi dasar menjadi faktor kunci. Tantangan yang di hadapi meliputi kurangnya Sosialisasi dan kesadaran terkait dengan pendidikan karakter, penilaian terhadap karakter siswa yang belum sesuai. Untuk mengatasi hal ini peneliti merekomendasikan pihak sekolah dan kepala sekolah serta guru-guru lebih memperhatikan pendidikan karakter siswa dibanding dengan aspek pengetahuan. Dan melakukan upaya-upaya secara serius mengenai pendidikan karakter siswa-siswa nya.

This study aims to determine the problems of SKI teachers in using learning media in the classroom. Learning media is an intermediary that can facilitate teachers during the learning process and help in delivering material to students. The use and development of learning media has become a must for every teacher because learning media can increase student understanding, motivate to be enthusiastic about learning, and attract student attention. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the utilization of learning media in MTs Nurus Syafi'i with SKI subjects is still not optimal, due to limited school facilities, lack of routine checks by the principal on teacher discipline in making RPP, lack of availability of human resources and teacher knowledge in planning learning media that are in accordance with the subject matter. In general, the utilization of learning media by SKI teachers at MTs Nurus Syafi'i is by searching for references on the internet and then displaying them on an LCD projector.

The curriculum used for children with special needs (CSN) has not yet been fully aligned with their characteristics, interests, and developmental needs, thus it has not been able to optimally enhance their spiritual intelligence. The purpose of this study is to develop an adaptive and contextual Islamic curriculum innovation as an effort to improve the spiritual intelligence of children with special needs. The research subjects were CSN students at Lentera Fajar Indonesia, an inclusive educational institution with diverse conditions including ADHD, sensory impairments, speech disorders, and mental retardation. The research method employed was Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model, while data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as pretest and posttest assessments. Data analysis was conducted using validity tests and paired sample t-tests to determine the significance of the curriculum development’s influence on the spiritual intelligence of CSN. The results showed that the developed curriculum was categorized as fairly valid with a percentage of 51–75% and was proven to have a significant impact on improving the spiritual intelligence of children, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. These findings indicate that curriculum development has a significant influence on enhancing the spiritual intelligence of children with special needs.

General background: The quality of Islamic educational institutions is strongly determined by the managerial capacity of principals as key leaders. Specific background: In boarding school settings, principals are not only responsible for administrative duties but also for ensuring holistic educational quality. Knowledge gap: Previous studies have often emphasized instructional leadership, yet limited research explores the comprehensive managerial functions of principals in Islamic boarding schools. Aim: This study aims to describe and analyze the managerial role of the principal in improving the quality of Islamic education institutions. Results: Using a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation at SMP Boarding School 09 Tanggulangin Sidoarjo, the findings reveal six core areas of principal’s managerial efforts: curriculum and learning management, human resource management, student management, facilities and infrastructure, financial management, and public relations. Novelty: This research highlights an integrated managerial framework that systematically strengthens institutional performance across multiple domains. Implications: The study underscores the strategic role of principals in sustaining quality improvement, offering insights for policymakers, school leaders, and stakeholders in Islamic education. General Background: The growing competition among higher education institutions requires Islamic universities to develop strong competitive strategies. Specific Background: Private Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIS) in Sidoarjo represent a significant portion of Islamic universities in Indonesia, yet their competitive edge remains underexplored. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies have not sufficiently addressed how PTKIS transform their strengths into marketable advantages in alignment with both Marx’s commodification theory and Porter’s strategic management framework. Aims: This study aims to analyze and reveal the competitive advantages of PTKIS through differentiation, cost leadership, and focus strategies. Results: Findings show PTKIS A emphasizes differentiation, while PTKIS B prioritizes cost-focused strategies. Both institutions commodify their advantages through curriculum innovation, industry-based programs, partnerships, human resource development, technology adoption, marketing, and superior student services. Novelty: The research highlights how PTKIS commodify competitive advantages into tangible educational products and services, offering a unique insight into the intersection of Islamic education and market-oriented strategies. Implications: The study provides a practical reference for higher education institutions and policymakers to strengthen strategic positioning, attract students, and ensure institutional sustainability. Background: Families are the first and most influential environment in shaping children’s moral and spiritual development. Specific Background: In the context of Islamic education, parents play a central role as role models, educators, and guides in introducing religious values. Knowledge Gap: Previous studies rarely focus on the practical strategies used by parents in everyday family life to instill Islamic values. Aim: This study aims to describe parental roles and methods in shaping children’s Islamic character within the family setting. Results: Using a qualitative descriptive approach with observation, interviews, and documentation, the findings reveal that parents consistently apply role modeling, habituation, communication, and guidance in character formation. Challenges such as limited time and digital media influence are managed through wise supervision and family involvement. Novelty: The study provides a practical illustration of Islamic parenting practices in a specific community context. Implications: These results highlight the importance of strengthening family-based religious education to nurture morally grounded future generations. Background: School leadership plays a crucial role in shaping teachers’ pedagogical quality, especially in Islamic education settings. Specific Background: In Indonesia, many Islamic Education teachers still struggle to meet pedagogical standards due to limited guidance and motivation from school leaders. Gap: Few studies have explored how principals in public schools support the development of Islamic Education teachers’ competencies through practical leadership strategies. Aims: This study aims to describe the principal’s role in improving pedagogical competence and identify challenges faced in the process. Results: The findings reveal that the principal acts effectively as a leader, facilitator, motivator, and resource manager, although challenges arise from limited resources and lengthy administrative processes. Novelty: The study provides a contextual insight into Islamic school leadership practices at the junior high level. Implications: The results emphasize the need for continuous leadership training and professional support systems to strengthen Islamic Education quality. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis monopoli interaktif untuk jenjang Sekolah Menengah Pertama dalam mempermudah pemahaman materi konsep dan simulasi hitung zakat mal. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dengan mengikuti model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). Langkah-langkahnya meliputi pendefinisian, pembuatan desain, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Berdasarkan validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, maka hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya produk media pembelajaran MOZAIK memiliki nilai sangat layak. Dengan persentase sebesar 83,3% berdasarkan dari hasil uji ahli media, dan 86,6% berdasarkan dari hasil uji ahli materi. Dari penilaian tersebut sehingga dapat dikatakan media pembelajaran ini dapat digunakan sebagai media yang tepat, efektif, dan interaktif dalam kegiatan belajar-mengajar. Kelebihan dan keunggulan produk media pembelajaran MOZAIK ini terlihat dari desain dan konsep yang menarik sehingga mampu meningkatkan interaktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Kelemahan penelitian ini terletak pada tahapan penyebaran yang belum dilakukan untuk mengukur keberhasilan media pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

This study aims to determine the extent of the implementation of learning spiritual intelligence and what are the factors supporting and inhibiting. In collecting the data, the writer used observation, interview and documentation. As for the analysis, the writer uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques, namely the form of the data is written or spoken of observed behavior and so in this case the author seeks to undertake research which describes the overal nature of the real situation on the ground. The process of data analysis was conducted by researches through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclution drawing ang verification. To check the validity of the data, the authors use the technique of persistant observation and triangulation.The results of this study it can be concluded that the implementation of learning spiritual intelligence delivered by using a variety of methods. Learning strategies in the plan include spiritual intelligence curriculum, bringing together the vision and mission of the school and parents, teaching practices, and monitoring. To find out the results of their study, using techniques such as charging achievement cards, daily grades, final grades and records. Supporting factors are appropriate curriculum, qualified teachers and good environment. While inhibiting factor is the difference in the vision and mission, the advancement of technology and the lack of instructional time.
