Abstract

In ancient near eastern times, the phenomenon of status differences or degrees between men and women was considered normal. Even at the time of Jesus, this phenomenon was still powerful. In the religious community, this difference can still be seen by referring to one of the texts of 1 Corinthians 11:7-12. In the text, it can be seen that there is an emphasis on the different positions of men and women who are considered wildly different when they enter into a fellowship. However, theologically all humans are equal before God. Can it be said that it is just and right if this phenomenon continues to be maintained without a more robust and biblical reason? For a reason, analysis verses 7-12, the meaning of the text and context does not emphasize the differences in the degrees of men and women. Instead, it emphasizes the equality of status in the sight of God. Even if women had to cover their heads when entering the worship room at the time, that only referred to the customs or culture of that era which emphasized the element of politeness in the community so that women would not become a stumbling block in the fellowship.

Abstract

Conservation of nature, maintaining the balance of the ecosystem is an inseparable part of the divine mandate of God. Preserving nature and the balance of ecosystems means that we have done part of the faith. Community service by providing education on nature conservation is carried out to give residents a better understanding. The activity was carried out by selecting a group of residents in Pintubesi, especially Hindus. This implementation is based on the location of Pintubesi hamlet, Laurakit village in Deliserdang district, around (surrounded) nature with green forests. The life of the majority of residents is not farming, and a small number of broiler breeders. Therefore, to support nature conservation and maintain ecosystems, it is necessary to provide understanding to the residents there. The implementation of the activity uses the extension method by preparing materials and some practical materials during the extension. Meanwhile, residents were selected from a Hindu community to provide concentration and focus on counseling and monitoring after the counseling. From several counseling sessions, pleasant results were obtained regarding the understanding and awareness of participants in preserving nature and the role of humans in maintaining the balance of the ecosystem. Participants enthusiastically participated in each counseling session and arrived on time. Awareness and responsibility for conserving the surrounding nature are united by maintaining one's own farmland. Preserving and maintaining nature has been asked to become a lifestyle.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar Program aims to help equalize national education. This program is very much needed by schools with the background of Frontier, Remote and Disadvantaged (3T) or schools with C/B accreditation. Kampus Mengajar becomes a ledge for students and lecturers to participate in advancing national education. This program runs for 5 months or one semester. Kampus Mengajar Students Batch 3 performs 3 main tasks at the assignment, namely teaching, assisting with technology adaptation, and assisting school administration. SD Negeri 091355 Urung Panei is one of the target schools for the Kampus Mengajar. This school has a C accreditation and is in dire need of assistance, especially in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills. SD Negeri 091355 Urung Panei also needs additional teaching staff due to the shortage of teachers. Schools also need help to re-invigorate students' learning enthusiasm after 1.5 years of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

AbstractThe program of  International Public Community Service is aimed to promote the culture of Czech Republic with religious basic. This activity was carried out by lecturers and students from the Christian Religion Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, HKBP Nommensen University with students from Czech University. The implementation of the program on July 25-26, 2022. Nowdays,  the secularization in Czech Republic is increased. Many people prefer not to make public their religious or spiritual identity . The reason is related to history of the nation.  When the country was under communist tyranny, all religion organization was destroyed and the people was not allowed and persecuted when they expressed  their faith publicly. By this program, the students  have a good lesson which telling them that it is good to express our religious activities in peace, especially in Indonesian context  with many religions. Keywords: Culture, Religion, Basic.  Program Pengabdian Masyarakat Internasional ini bertujuan untuk mempromosikan budaya Republik Ceko berbasis keagamaan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa dari Program Studi Pendidikan Agama Kristen dengan mahasiswa dari Universitas Ceko. Pelaksanaan program dilakukan dari tanggal 25-26 Juli 2022.  Saat ini, sekulerisasi di Republik Ceko meningkat. Banyak penduduk lebih memilih untuk menyembunyikan identitas agama mereka. Alasan mereka ini memiliki hubungan dengan sejarah bangsa mereka. Ketika bangsa Ceko di bawah tirani komunis Uni Soviet, mereka dilarang untuk mengekspresikan kegiatan keagamaan secara terbuka dan seluruh aktifitas organisasi keagamaan dirusak. Melalui program ini, siswa memperoleh pelajaran yang berharga bahwa adalah baik untuk mengekspresikan kehidupan keagamaan kita di tengah-tengah masyarakat secara damai, dalam konteks Indonesia yang majemuk. Kata Kunci : Budaya, Agama, Basis

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how far the Role of Multimedia in Learning in the Field of Christian Religion Studyed on Student Creativity During the Covid-19 Pandemic. The number of samples is 38 people. This study uses a descriptive method, while the data analysis carried out in the hypothesis research is Pearson's product moment correlation with the data collection tool is a questionnaire for Variable X (The Role of Multimedia in Learning the Field of Christian Studies) and Variable Y (Student Learning Creativity). To find out the extent of the Role of Multimedia in Learning the Field of Christian Religion Studies on Student Creativity During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Pearson Product Moment Correlation Statistics test. From the test results, it was obtained that the correlation (r) was 0.36 with a determination test of 12, then a "t" test is held with the test criteria if the t count obtained from the calculation is greater (>) than ttable at a significant level of I 0.05 with dk = n - 2 then the hypothesis is accepted and in other cases rejected. From the test results obtained tcount > ttable (2.30 > 1.69), then the hypothesis is accepted. Thus, it can be stated that there is a meaningful role between the role ofMultimedia in Learning the Field of Study of Christianity Against Student Creativity During the Covid-19 Pandemic.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauhmana keterkaitan antara Pengaruh metode cooperative learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Gajah Mada Medan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 18 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, sedangkan analisis data yang dilakukan penelitian hipotesis adalah korelasi product moment person dengan alat pengumpulan data adalah angket untuk variabel X (Pengaruh metode cooperative learning) dan variabel Y (motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Gajah Mada Medan). Untuk mengetahui sejauhmana Pengaruh metode cooperative learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Gajah Mada Medan, maka digunakan Uji Statistik Korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh pengujian korelasi (r) 0,44 dengan uji determinasi sebesar 19% dan untuk mengetahui signifikan tidaknya koefisien korelasi pada taraf nyata ( = 0,05 maka diadakan uji “t” dengan kriteria pengujian jika yang didapat dari perhitungan lebih besar (>) dari pada taraf signifikan 1-0.05 dengan dk= n – 2 maka hipotesis diterima dan dalam hal lain ditolak. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh > (2,18 > 1,75), maka hipotesis diterima. Dengan demikian dapat ditemukan keterkaitan yang berarti antara pengaruh metode cooperative learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Gajah Mada Medan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat sejauh mana keterkaitan antara pengaruh media gambar terhadap meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Medan dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 40 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, sedangkan analisis data yang dilakukan penelitian hipotesis adalah korelasi product moment person dengan alat pengumpulan data adalah angket untuk variabel X (Pengaruh media gambar) dan variabel Y (Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Kristen kelas VIII Di SMP Negeri 22 Medan). Untuk Mengetahui sejauhmana Pengaruh media gambar terhadap meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama kristen kelas VIII Di SMP Negeri 22 Medan, maka digunakan Uji Statistik Korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh pengujian korelasi (r) 0,983 dengan uji determinasi sebesar 27% dan untuk mengetahui signifikan tidaknya koefisien korelasi pada taraf nyata (?) =0,05 maka diadakan uji “t” dengan kriteria pengujian jika thitung yang didapat dari perhitungan lebih besar (>) dari ttabel pada taraf signifikan 1-0,05 dengan dk= n-2 maka hipotesis diterima dan dalam hal lain ditolak. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh thitung>ttabel ( 4,39 > 1,68 ), maka hipotesis diterima. Dengan demikian dapat ditemukan keterkaitan yang berarti antara pengaruh media gambar terhadap meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama kristen kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 22 Medan.

Abstract

Tulisan ini merupakan sebuah penelitian tentang salib Kristus. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menjawab setiap sikap skeptik dan cemoohan dari internal dan eksternal gereja terhadap salib Kristus. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, khususnya kajian literatur. Adapun hasil penelitiannya ditemukan bahwa setiap tuduhan dan anggapan miring terhadap salib terbantahkan melalui penelitian ini. Karena melalui penelitian ditemukan bahwa salib adalah bukti bahwa Allah setia kepada setiap janji-Nya, salib tidak dapat berdiri sendiri dan akan menjadi penting apabila dikaitkan dengan oknum atau pribadi Yesus yang tersalib untuk menggantikan manusia berdosa. Kemudian terakhir, salib merupakan identitas setiap pengikut Kristus khususnya dalam hal penderitaan.

Abstract

This research looks for patterns of educating children to the residents of Pintubesi hamlet who adhere to Hinduism. Th e pattern of educating children is a process carried out to improve and support the physical, emotional, social, financial, and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood. And the research finds out how to educate children in Hinduism and the similarities or differences that appear with adherents of other religions there. From initial observations, it is suspected that all residents with their respective religious backgrounds in Pintubesi have the same pattern in educating children. The study used a quantitative approach by triangulating interviews, distributing questionnaires, and discussing together. the results stated that as parents must be able to educate children to grow up to be good children (suputra) and useful for others. In addition, parents must also be able to instill positive values in children so that the child's growth pattern is in accordance with what is taught by Hinduism. From a cultural perspective, there is no visible difference in parenting among the Karo people in Pintu Besi Village, even though they have different religions.

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, sedangkan analisis data yang dilakukan penelitian hipotesis adalah korelasi product moment person dengan alat pengumpulan data adalah angket. Dari hasil pengujian diperoleh pengujian korelasi (r) 0,44 dengan uji determinasi sebesar 19% dan untuk mengetahui signifikan tidaknya koefisien korelasi pada taraf nyata (=0,05 maka diadakan uji “t” dengan kriteria pengujian jika yang didapat dari perhitungan lebih besar (>) dari pada taraf signifikan 1-0.05 dengan dk=n-2 maka hipotesis diterima dan dalam hal lain ditolak.
