Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the differentiated learning approach to improve students' numeracy literacy. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental study, with 60 students as research subjects consisting of 30 students in class Va and 30 students in class Vb Madrasah Btidaiyah Macanmati. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews. Data analysis techniques include validity and reliability tests for instrument tests and normality tests, homogeneity tests, and t-tests to determine the effectiveness of the differentiated approach to improve students' numeracy literacy, as well as Gain tests to determine the type of increase. The results of the study showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous, so they were continued with a t-test. The results of the t-test were 0.000 <0.05, meaning that the differentiated learning approach was effective in improving students' numeracy literacy with an increase in the Gain test of 0.72 in the high category

This study aims to explore the development of a student book designed to instill the values of social care, honesty, and responsibility in third-grade students at Muhammadiyah Ambarbinangun Elementary School. The student book is intended to meet validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria to enhance students' academic achievement. The research method used was Research and Development with the ADDIE model, involving 30 students as subjects. Data were collected through observation and testing. The results showed that media expert validation yielded a score of 4.5, categorized as very valid, while material expert validation received a score of 4.2, also categorized as very valid. Based on student questionnaires, the average response score reached 4.3, categorized as very practical. The average posttest score of students reached 78,2, compared to a pretest score of only 55,4. Paired sample testing showed a significance level below α (0.00 < 0.05), indicating a significant difference in student achievement before and after using the student book. The N-Gain score obtained was 0.51, classified as moderate.

Abstract

This study aims to identify problems in the field by describing the challenges faced by teachers in implementing the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach to mathematics learning in class X-A. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data analyzed includes primary and secondary data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis process includes the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while the validity of the data is tested using triangulation techniques. The results of the study revealed a number of challenges in implementing the TaRL approach, namely: (1) lack of teacher understanding of the TaRL concept and techniques, (2) a heterogeneous classroom environment with 30 students, (3) limited time, costs, and monitoring of learning implementation, (4) minimal resources such as learning devices, and (5) limited training and socialization related to learning planning and evaluation with the TaRL approach. To overcome these challenges, schools or principals need to provide support in the form of training on the TaRL learning approach for teachers, as well as provide adequate facilities, learning resources, and budget allocations that support the implementation of learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in mathematics learning at SDN Tegalsari (a state elementary school) during the 2024/2025 academic year using a qualitative descriptive method. The research focused on the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the curriculum, with subjects including the principal, vice principal for curriculum affairs, mathematics teachers, and students selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles & Huberman, which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicated that the planning phase involved socialization, teacher training, the development of teaching materials, and the provision of facilities and infrastructure. The implementation emphasized project-based learning to strengthen the Profile of Pancasila Students, using a problem-solving approach to enhance students’ critical and creative thinking skills. The evaluation was conducted through diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments to measure the effectiveness of learning. This study highlighted the importance of school support in implementing the curriculum, including continuous teacher training and the optimization of learning facilities. Regular evaluations allowed schools to make strategic improvements to better meet students' needs and enhance overall education quality.
