Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the following things. First, the values of Islamic morality expressed in the novel by Father Hirata Andrea. Second, the motives of the characters in having Islamic morality in the novel by Father Hirata Andrea. Third, the impact of having Islamic character on the characters in Andrea Hirata's Father's novel. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method. The data used in this study are words, groups of words, and sentences that contain Islamic moral values. This research is sourced from the novel Father by Andrea Hirata. The instrumentation in this study is the researcher as the main instrument. Then, data collection is done using observation techniques. The results of the research in the novel Andrea Hirata's Father are as follows. First, there are 61 data on Islamic moral values in Andrea Hirata's father's novel, which is divided into two, namely 43 praiseworthy moral data and 18 sad moral data. Second, there are the motives of the characters to have Islamic morals consisting of two, namely internal motives and external motives. Third, the impact of having commendable and despicable morals for the characters in Andrea Hirata's Father's novel is also divided into two, namely positive and negative impacts.  Kata kunci : Nilai, Akhlak Islam, Novel Ayah

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to describe cultural values in the context of character education consisting of: (1) the value of discipline, (2) the value of hard work, (3) the value of responsibility, (4) creative value, (5)independent value, (6) the value of curiosity, (7) the value of appreciation, (8) the value of friendly/communicative, (9) the value of peace love, (10) the value of reading fondness, (11) the value pf caring for the environment, and (12)the value of caring for social character education in the novel Circus Pohon by Andrea Hirata. the research method is descriptive with the type of qualitative method. The background of this research is the novel Circus Pohon by Andrea Hirata. the research entry is an event unit in the novel Circus Pohon by Andrea Hirata. the presence of researchers in this study as observers. In this research there is no specific information. The main instrument of this research is the researcher himself. Data collection techniques in this study are observation techniques. This type of observation in this study is non-participant because the subject under study is a novel. Analyzing research data adjusted to the flow of analyzing qualitative research data. Abstract

Fantasy story text is one of the narrative texts that contains events or events that happened to a character being told. The series of events has a plot that starts from orientation, complications, to resolution. Fantasy stories actually also feature realistic events and actions, but there are also things that are hard to accept. Even so, the overall development of the storyline is still subject to the law of cause and effect or the law of the plot that applies in writing that is generally agreed upon. This study aims to determine the tendency of students in making fantasy story texts and this research focuses on elements, structures, and types in fantasy story texts. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive method. The results obtained are that students tend to make fantasy story texts based on examples that have been given. In addition, the structure used tends to be incomplete. In the orientation section is often not used. The type of fantasy story text used tends to cross time. The written message tends to be implicit

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study revealed the contribution of reading comprehension skills toward writing skill related to the description texts of that made by grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Padang. The purpose of this study was categorized into three-part. First, to describe the writing skills of the description text of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Padang. Second, to describe the reading skills of students in grade VII of SMP Negeri 7 Padang.. Third, to describe the contribution of reading comprehension skill to the writing skill of the description texts of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Padang. This type of study was quantitative with descriptive methods. The design used in this study was the contribution design. The population of this study was students of class VII SMP Negeri 7 Padang in the 2018/2019 academic year about 251 students. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling 15% of the population that was 40 students. The data of this study were in the form of scores on reading comprehension skill test scores and scores on writing description text skill. The data were obtained through two types of tests namely objective tests to measure the comprehension of reading skill and performance tests to measure description text writing skill. There were three results of this study. First, the description writing skill of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Padang was in good qualifications (B) with an average of 76.80. Second, reading comprehension skill of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Padang was in good qualifications (B) with an average of 82.50. Third, there was a contribution to reading comprehension text skill on the ability to write description texts of grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Padang with percentage 42, 51%. Kata kunci: Kontribusi, Keterampilan, Membaca Pemahaman, Menulis, Teks Deskripsi

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is (1) describe the usege of  conjungtion a coordinative in a short story by students in grade IX of middle school of  seven districts south solok, and (2) describe the usage of conjungtion subordinative in a short story by student in grade IX of middle school of seven districts south solok. This type of research qualitative with the descriptive. The result of this reaseach is (1) conjungtion that are widely used class IX of middle school of seven districts south solok which is conjungtion subordinative as much as 487 in conjungtion a coordinative as many as 360, conjungtion subordinative that are widely used which is conjungtion subordinative time (after, so that, when, until, after, while, so that, for) while conjugtion a coordinative that are widely used which is conjungtion a coordinative the addition of (and)), (2) there are three conjungtion that are not used in a short story by students in grade IX of middle school of seven districts south solok, wich is conjungtion a coordinative flanking (and), conjungtion subordinative the modalities (let’s say, if, for example, in case), and conjungtion subordinative the (the same... with, more... from... on...) and (3) is still a lot of students who do not understand about the use of  conjungtion a coordinative and conjungtion subordinative in a sentece. Kata Kunci: penggunaan, konjungsi, cerpen karya siswa

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing how students at Overnewton College learned Indonesian using the Think, Talk, and Write (TTW) learning model. This research was conducted online using Zoom as media. This research uses qualitative research with the descriptive-analytical method. The study used 11th grade students as the sample in this study. This study also examines how students' perspectives on learning are carried out and analyzes students' writing skills. Research finds that using the Think, Talk, and Write (TTW) model in learning the Indonesian language for foreign students can help students practice their speaking and writing skills in Indonesian. In conducting learning using the think, talk, write model, there are three primary stages students must go through to understand, that is, (1) think, (2) speaking, and (3) writing or expressing thoughts through written media.  In general, students' perceptions on the learning are good. Besides, students also feel happy with the learning because it uses audio-visual media that can help students' listening skills

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsiskan nilai moral terhadap diri sendiri, nilai moral terhadap sesame manusia, dan nilai moral terhadap Tuhan dalam novel Maaf Tuhan, Aku Hampir menyerah karya Alfialghazi. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Maaf Tuhan, Aku Hampir Menyerah karya Alfialghazi yang diterbitkan oleh Sahima tahun 2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu nilai-nilai moral dalam novel Maaf Tuhan, Aku Hampir Menyerah karya Alfialghazi. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini maka dapat disimpulkan beberapa hal sebagai berikut. Pertama, terdapat nilai-nilai moral terhadap diri sendiri terdiri dari nilai-nilai keberanian, nilai-nilai kerendahan hati, nilai-nilai ketulusan, nilai –nilai kesabaran, nilai-nilai tanggung jawab, nilai-nilai percaya diri, nilai-nilai pasrah, nilai-nilai putus asa, nilai-nilai tidak bersyukur, dan nilai-nilai munafik. Kedua, terdapat nilai moral terhadap sesama manusia terdiri dari nilai-nilai sebuah persahabatan, nilai-nilai kesetian, dan nilai saling membantu. Ketiga terdapat nilai-nilai moral terhadap Tuhan terdiri dari nilai-nilai ketaatan, nilai-nilai berpikir jernih, nilai-nilai bersyukur, nilai-nilai pertobatan, nilai-nilai berserah diri kepada Allah, dan nilai-nilai tidak bersyukur.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh dari model pembelajaran Proyek Belajar Karakter terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode eksperimen, dengan  jenis one group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 22 Padang yang berjumlah 31 siswa. Alat pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes unjuk kerja. Berdasarkan hasil pengelolaan data menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar posttest siswa sebesar 82,96. Hasil Uji N-Gain dengan skor 0,45. Hal itu menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran Proyek Belajar Karakter memberi pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keterampilan menulis teks eksplanasi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 22 Padang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya tindak tutur dalam interaksi belajar mengajar di kelas dan dalam pembelajaran berlangsung guru mampu mengekspresikan dirinya dengan melakukan komunikasi melalui tindak tutur yang digunakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan tindak tutur direktif guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman dan strategi bertutur yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Instrumen penelitian ini ialah peneliti sendiri. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simak bebas libat cakap (SBLC), rekam, dan catat. Hasil penelitian ada dua. Pertama, bentuk tindak tutur direktif guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman terdapat 202 tuturan yang terdiri dari 135 tindak tutur direktif menyuruh, 3 tindak tutur direktif memohon, 17 tindak tutur direktif menyarankan, 20 tindak tutur menuntut, dan 27 tindak tutur direktif menantang. Kedua, strategi bertutur yang digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas XII SMA Negeri 1 Pasaman terdapat 202 tuturan yaitu, 55 strategi bertutur terus terang tanpa basi-basi, 90 strategi bertutur terus terang basi-basi kesantunan positif, 43 strategi bertutur terus terang basi-basi kesantunan negatif, 2 strategi bertutur samar-samar, dan 12 strategi bertutur dalam hati. Kesimpulannya adalah tindak tutur direktif yang sering digunakan adalah tindak tutur direktif menyuruh dan strategi bertutur yang dominan digunakan adalah strategi bertutur terus terang dengan basi-basi kesantunan positif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran menggunakan model Proyek Belajar Karakter (PBK) dalam pembelajaran menulis teks diskusi dan menganalisis penggunaan proyek belajar karakter dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif-analisis. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 22 Kota Padang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 31 sampel yang diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Instrumen utama yang digunakan adalah peneliti sendiri. Dalam penelitian ini juga menggunakan angke terbuka sebagai instrumen pendukung yang disebarkan kepada 31 orang sampel. Hasil peneliian ini menunjukkan bahwasannya penggunaan model proyek belajar karakter (PBK) dapat meningkatkan hasil kerja siswa dalam menulis teks diskusi. Peningkatan hasil tersebut dapat dilihat dari penggunaan struktur dan deretan proses yang ada pada teks karya siswa. Selain itu, penggunaan model ini juga dapat meningkatkan semangat dan motivasi siswa dalam melakukan pembelajaran menulis teks diskusi.
