Abstract

Dunia budaya dan seni Indonesia sangat kaya. Gamelan, alat musik tradisional Indonesia, adalah salah satu yang terkenal. Bonang adalah alat gamelan jawa yang paling umum digunakan selain gong. Alat musik bonang, yang merupakan alat musik tradisional dalam gamelan jawa, menghadapi tantangan karena minat generasi muda yang semakin berkurang. Banyak anak muda lebih tertarik dengan alat musik modern atau populer, sehingga minat untuk belajar alat musik bonang berkurang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan dan mendeskripsikan tentang nilai estetika yang terdapat pada alat musik bonang. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi karena sesuai untuk mendalami dan megeksplorasi instrumen bonang serta menganalisis secara mendalam tentang objek yang diteliti. Hasil yang ditemukan menunjukkan tentang asal-usul bonang, karakteristik bonang, ornamen pada rancak bonang, proporsi bonang, bahan baku pembuatan bonang dan pola tabuhan pada alat musik bonang. The world of Indonesian culture and art is very rich. Gamelan, a traditional Indonesian musical instrument, is a famous one. Bonang is the most commonly used Javanese gamelan instrument besides gong. The bonang musical instrument, which is a traditional musical instrument in Javanese gamelan, is facing challenges due to the decreasing interest of the younger generation. Many young people are more interested in modern or popular musical instruments, so interest in learning the bonang musical instrument is decreasing. This research aims to reveal and describe the aesthetic values ​​contained in the bonang musical instrument. The method in this research uses a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach because it is suitable for studying and exploring bonang instruments and analyzing in depth the objects studied. The results found indicate the origins of bonang, characteristics of bonang, ornaments on bonang rancak, proportions of bonang, raw materials for making bonang and beat patterns on bonang musical instruments.

Abstract

The experience of art in panting plays a significant role in fostering children’s creativity, as it involves deep exploration, imagination, and self-expression. The panting process allows children to express their ideas and emotions visually, thereby aiding the development of creative thinking skills. This study aims to illustrate how the experience of panting can serve as an effective means to stimulate children's creativity from an early age. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations and interviews with children engaged in panting activities, as well as through examining their artwork. The results indicate that the experience of panting provides children with space to try new techniques, create color combinations, and produce unique forms according to their imagination. Additionally, this activity helps children enhance their problem-solving skills, as they often encounter challenges such as panting objects they have never seen or creating stories based on their artwork. In the panting process, the role of companions, such as parents or teachers, is highly significant in encouraging children to keep exploring and feel confident in their creations. Panting activities also prove to improve focus, patience, and pride in the finished work, all of which contribute to children’s overall personality development. In conclusion, the experience of panting is not merely a recreational activity but also a vital medium for nurturing children’s creativity. By providing a supportive environment that encourages exploration, children can develop their creative potential to the fullest, which will be beneficial in their future lives.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of piano musical instrument media in increasing students' awareness of local cultural values through regional songs, especially the song "Gundul-Gundul Pacul" in grade IV MI Khoiriyah Kayen Pati. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the study show that the use of the piano not only improves students' musical skills, but also fosters understanding of the cultural meaning contained in traditional songs. Students showed high enthusiasm in the learning process, as well as improved piano playing skills and understanding of values such as simplicity, responsibility, and leadership. These findings indicate that the media of piano musical instruments is an effective means of learning musical arts based on local culture as well as in supporting character education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using a pianika musical instrument application in learning the traditional song Cublak-Cublak Suweng in the Cultural Arts subject for Grade 5 students at SD Negeri Mejobo. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the use of the pianika application in learning can increase students’ interest, motivation, and skills in playing traditional songs. The consistent application of the drill method has a positive impact on the mastery of pianika playing techniques, the ability to read musical notation, fine motor coordination, and students’ understanding of melody and rhythm. In addition, this learning media creates a more active, interactive, and enjoyable learning environment. Thus, the use of the pianika application has proven to be an effective learning strategy to introduce traditional songs while fostering students’ appreciation of local culture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab rumusan permasalahan yang ada dalam mengeksplorasi peran Lembaga Kursus dan Pelatihan (LKP) Indah dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menjahit peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai kegiatan pembelajaran di lembaga ini. LKP Indah menyediakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung melalui metode pengajaran yang berorientasi praktik, dengan kurikulum fleksibel berbasis kompetensi. Kurikulum ini memungkinkan peserta untuk belajar sesuai dengan kecepatan masing-masing, yang berfokus pada penguasaan keterampilan menjahit yang lebih aplikatif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa, LKP Indah memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan menjahit yang tercermin dalam prestasi-prestasi yang diraih oleh lulusan LKP Indah serta mempersiapkan peserta untuk siap bersaing di dunia kerja, sekaligus memberikan mereka peluang untuk mengembangkan karir di industri fashion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan aplikasi angklung digital dalam mengembangkan keterampilan bermain angklung siswa kelas V di SD 1 Prambatan Kidul, Kabupaten Kudus. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya pembelajaran seni musik yang kreatif dan adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi, serta keterbatasan sarana alat musik tradisional di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi angklung digital memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan keterampilan musikal siswa, seperti kemampuan mengenal nada dan ritme, peningkatan motivasi, kreativitas, serta kemandirian dalam belajar. Guru dan siswa merespons dengan antusias penggunaan media ini karena dapat menciptakan suasana pembelajaran yang interaktif, menyenangkan, dan kolaboratif. Selain menjadi solusi atas keterbatasan alat musik fisik, aplikasi ini juga memperkuat pelestarian budaya lokal melalui pendekatan yang modern dan relevan dengan karakteristik generasi digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa aplikasi angklung digital merupakan media pembelajaran yang efektif dan layak diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran seni musik di sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan pianika dan suling sebagai media pembelajaran sejarah musik tradisional dan modern pada siswa kelas VII. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian terdiri atas siswa dan guru seni budaya di MTS Balekambang Jepara. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model Miles & Huberman melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pianika dan suling dapat meningkatkan minat, partisipasi, dan pemahaman siswa terhadap materi. Aktivitas pembelajaran menjadi lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan karena siswa terlibat langsung dalam praktik memainkan lagu tradisional dan modern. Guru merasakan kemudahan dalam menyampaikan materi secara terpadu antara aspek sejarah dan praktik musik. Kendala yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan jumlah alat musik serta perbedaan kemampuan siswa dalam memainkannya. Meskipun demikian, pemanfaatan pianika dan suling terbukti efektif dalam memperkuat pemahaman konsep musik serta menanamkan nilai budaya kepada siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penyediaan sarana yang memadai serta pengembangan strategi pembelajaran kreatif berbasis praktik musik di sekolah.

Abstract

This study examines the aesthetic values ​​in the traditional wind instrument Saluang from Sumatra, which is an integral part of the cultural identity of the Minangkabau people. The background of this study focuses on the decline in appreciation of traditional music among the younger generation, as well as the importance of preserving Saluang as a cultural heritage. The method used is descriptive qualitative with ethnographic research type, analyzing various sources such as scientific journals, books, and online articles. The results of the study show that Saluang has rich aesthetic values, reflected in its simple physical form, made of bamboo, and playing techniques that produce soft and melodious sounds. Saluang performances are often accompanied by poems that are full of philosophical meaning, adding a deep aesthetic dimension. The discussion highlights the interaction between visual form, playing techniques, and socio-cultural contexts that create a unique aesthetic experience. In conclusion, Saluang is not just a musical instrument but also a representation of the aesthetic and philosophical values ​​of the Sumatran people, which need to be preserved to maintain cultural identity and increase the younger generation's appreciation of this heritage.

Abstract

Citizenship education has a strategic role in forming entrepreneurial character and awareness based on national values. However, there are still challenges in integrating citizenship education with the formation of an entrepreneurial spirit oriented towards nationalism and patriotism. Therefore, this research aims to analyze how Citizenship Education can increase awareness of entrepreneurship based on national values ​​in the younger generation. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and literature studies on citizenship education curricula and entrepreneurship programs in educational institutions. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Citizenship Education contributes to building an entrepreneurial character who has a national spirit through strengthening values ​​such as mutual cooperation, hard work, independence and social concern. In addition, the integration of citizenship material with entrepreneurship education can raise awareness among the younger generation of the importance of contributing to national economic development through businesses based on national values. Thus, policies and innovations are needed in the education curriculum to further optimize the synergy between citizenship education and entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand how teachers use SBdP learning to influence students' creativity at SD 2 Mejobo Kudus. The second objective is to understand and explain the factors that hinder the teacher's approach. This study uses a qualitative research approach. The purposive sampling technique was used by the data sources: Sample criteria were used to select participants. To test the validity of the data, method triangulation was used, such as observation, interviews, and documentation. Data obtained from interviews with teachers from Class IV A and B, research results on how teachers implement SBdP learning impact on the creativity of fourth-grade students, class teachers. choosing project-based learning strategies when teaching and the projects have already been created by the students. The results of the SBdP learning development, teacher preparation for teaching, such as preparing learning modules, preparing the materials to be taught, determining the projects to be made, scheduling the projects, tracking project progress, assessing project results, and evaluating SBdP learning using a projector. This research provides insights into the importance of teacher strategies and their inhibiting factors in the development of SBdP learning for the creativity of fourth-grade students. Internal factors are related to the experience, skills, and abilities of the teacher.
