Desa Balunganyar menghadapi tantangan signifikan dalam pengelolaan sampah, terutama karena kekurangan fasilitas yang memadai, seperti tempat sampah yang mudah diakses. Pengabdian masyarakat dengan judul Meningkatkan Kesadaran Masyarakat Terhadap Lingkungan Melalui Pembuatan Tempat Sampah di Desa Balunganyar memiliki tujuan untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sejak dini, sehingga dapat mengurangi pencemaran dan risiko penyakit. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat kegiatan ini menggunakan metode PAR (Participatory Action Research). Kurangnya lokasi pembuangan yang tepat, masyarakat sering kali membuang sampah secara tidak bertanggung jawab. Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya inisiatif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan perlunya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan. Pembuatan dan mendistribusikan tong sampah yang efisien dan mudah dijangkau merupakan salah satu cara praktis untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tempat sampah ini berfungsi sebagai fasilitas dan sumber pengajaran, meningkatkan akuntabilitas masyarakat dan kesadaran lingkungan. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat, sebagai bagian dari tridarma perguruan tinggi, berperan dalam membina mahasiswa dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan masyarakat. Melibatkan mahasiswa dalam program ini, diharapkan mereka dapat meningkatkan wawasan mengenai permasalahan masyarakat dan mendorong perubahan menuju kemajuan. Sampah rumah tangga yang tersebar dapat menyebabkan dampak negatif pada lingkungan dan kesehatan, seperti pencemaran air. Pembuatan tempat sampah bertujuan menanamkan nilai kepedulian lingkungan dan diharapkan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Desa Balunganyar, tidak hanya dalam pengetahuan tetapi juga dalam tindakan sehari-hari, sehingga berkontribusi pada lingkungan yang lebih bersih dan kualitas hidup yang lebih baik.

Abstract This study analyzes the taxation arrangements in inheritance in Indonesia, particularly the tax obligations arising from the transfer of the testator's assets to the heirs. Inheritance involves movable and immovable assets that can become tax objects such as the Fees on Acquisition of Land and Building Rights (BPHTB) and Income Tax (PPh) on income from inherited assets. This research uses a normative legal approach to examine regulations such as Article 4 Paragraph (3) and Article 2 Paragraph (1) of the Income Tax Law, which regulate the imposition of taxes on undivided inheritance. The results show that strategies such as document consolidation, utilization of tax technology, and transparent reporting can improve heirs' compliance with tax obligations. In addition, the disclosure of financial information through the Common Reporting Standard (CRS) and Automatic Exchange of Information (AEoI) emphasizes the importance of reporting inheritance in the Annual Tax Return (SPT). By understanding the basis of tax imposition, correct reporting, and repayment mechanism, heirs can manage inheritance wisely and reduce the risk of conflict and legal sanctions. Limited access to innovative educational methods and materials and lack of understanding of leadership among students are major problems in developing innovation in the learning process. The Teaching Program at Sunan Giri University Surabaya aims to provide solutions to these problems by equipping students with skills in creative teaching and leadership. The method used is to develop a combination of intensive training for students. The form of activities includes interactive learning and integrated leadership sessions with a focus on developing students' critical thinking and leadership skills. The results of this activity show an increase in the quality of student teaching and interest, as well as contributing to the development of the community around the campus.

The main issue faced by the community in Pasuruan Regency is the shortage of a safe and adequate blood supply, especially for urgent needs such as accidents, surgeries, or certain illnesses. The Blood Donation Program initiated by students serves as a form of social service aimed at supporting blood stock availability and raising community awareness on the importance of blood donation. The method of implementation includes outreach to students and local residents, and collaboration with the local Red Cross Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD PMI) to ensure strict health standards. Activities include direct blood donation, involving students and residents as volunteer donors. The outcome of this initiative is a significant increase in blood stock for the UTD PMI in Pasuruan Regency, along with a boost in community participation and understanding of the humanitarian value of blood donation as an essential social contribution.

The state guarantees the freedom for every citizen to embrace a religion and practice their worship. However, problems that arise in life between religious communities are always there. The conflict takes a lot of energy and thought from all parties because it has touched on the political, social, and economic realms. The government has made various efforts to reduce conflict between religious communities, such as conducting interfaith dialogue. It is hoped that the community can prepare themselves to hold discussions with people of other religions who have different views on the reality of life. The dialogue is intended to get to know each other and gain new knowledge about the religion of the dialogue partner. The dialogue itself will enrich the insights of both parties in order to examine the similarities that can be used as a basis for living in harmony in society.

This study examines the implementation of legal protection for children as perpetrators of criminal offenses in Indonesia's juvenile criminal justice system. The main focus of the study is to analyze the application of sanctions and protection provided to children involved in criminal acts, as well as evaluating the effectiveness of their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. The method used is Normative Juridical, with primary data analysis from relevant legislation and secondary data from related literature. The results show that there are large discrepancies between legal provisions and practices in the field, often resulting in a more punitive than restorative approach to child offenders. The research recommends policy reforms oriented towards education and psychological and social support, rather than just punishment.

In Balunganyar Village, Lekok, Pasuruan, access to information about public services is still limited. Most people in this village do not fully understand the types of services provided by the village government, the procedures for accessing these services, and the benefits that can be obtained. Based on the background that has been explained, there are several problems that need to be resolved through this program, namely how to increase awareness and understanding of the Balunganyar Village community about public services available in the village, then how to utilize video media as an effective communication tool in conveying public service information. The implementation of this PkM program uses a participatory approach, where the Balunganyar Village community is actively involved in the entire activity process, from planning, training, to evaluation. This approach was taken because active community participation is considered the key to success in improving their understanding and independence.

This article explains the practice of prayer which is a problem for many children at Al-Fikr Kindergarten, Sumotuwo Village. Guidance in the practice of prayer is very important to teach, because the Day of Judgment will question the practice of prayer. This assistance aims to teach children to better understand how to pray properly and correctly. The object or target of this assistance is the children of Al-Fikr Kindergarten, Sumotuwo Village, Balongbendo District, Sidoarjo. The method used in this assistance activity is Participatory Action Research (PAR) which includes three components, namely, the research component, the behavioral component, and the participation component used in this service and assistance program. In its implementation, this assistance was carried out on Thursday, August 8, 2024. This assistance activity was carried out because most children understand prayer only from theory, while in practice most of them are less appropriate so that this problem really needs attention, namely in the form of learning assistance that is more aware of the importance of prayer for us Muslims. The result of this assistance is that children understand better how to pray properly, as seen from the difference in children's prayers before receiving assistance and afterward, which is much better. This assistance activity received a warm welcome from the Ustadzah of Al-Fikr Kindergarten, Sumotuwo Village and the guardians of the children of Al-Fikr Kindergarten and in its implementation the children were very active and enthusiastic in participating in learning activities, thus showing a change towards a better direction than before.

The purpose of this study is to design and build a garden fence made of wood and recycled bottles in an effort to develop an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution. In addition to functioning as a room divider, this garden fence can also be used as a decorative component to add to the aesthetic appeal of the garden. This study examines the structural strength, material durability, and aesthetic value of the fence building using wood and recycled bottles. The method used in this activity is the ABCD method, the ABCD (Asset Based Community Development) approach method which is a mentoring method that prioritizes the utilization of assets and potentials around the community. This research method also evaluates the environmental impact and cost efficiency of using recycled materials. The results of the study show that a fence made of wood and recycled bottles can be a practical and attractive choice for a garden plan. This fence not only supports the management of plastic bottle waste, but also provides a smart solution that is financially efficient and affordable.
