Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of stakeholder empowerment in Islamic education management at MI Mambaul Ulum Tulupari, an Islamic elementary school in Tiris, Probolinggo. This study explores how collaboration between parents, teachers, and the community can improve the quality of education based on Islamic values. Although stakeholder involvement in education has been widely discussed, its application in the context of Islamic education is still limited. Therefore, this study seeks to fill this gap by investigating the active contribution of each stakeholder in designing, implementing, and evaluating education policies in schools. Using qualitative research methods, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study show that close collaboration between parents, teachers, and the community plays a significant role in improving the quality of education, both in academic aspects and in the formation of students' character. These findings make an important contribution to the development of more inclusive and sustainable Islamic education management, and emphasize the importance of the active role of all stakeholders in creating a holistic education that is in accordance with Islamic values.

Abstract

Building harmonious and peaceful interaction between communities of different religions, is necessary to change the theological paradigm; that is passive, textual, and exclusive, leading towards the theology of inclusive, mutual respect, mutual recognition of existence, thinking and being positive among others. The paradigm of plural education in the future is democratic education, this can only be realized in a democratic society, nation and country. By providing the opportunities for the implementation of harmony and peace. The author describes about the Comparison of Islamic Education with Non-Islam (comparative study in Madrasah Tsanawiyah As-Shiddiqi and Catholic Junior High Schools (SMP) in Pamekasan Regency). The different point of these two educational institutions is the allocation of lesson hour (JTM). In Islamic Education is 2 hours a week in each religious material including Fiqh, Al-Quran, Aqidah and SKI subjects. Whereas in Catholic education is only given about 2 lessons, and the other is the same as other general education. For educational institutions that are specified into Uskupan or Romo, the applied curriculum is a matter of theology, such as seminaries starting from senior high school until university

Abstract

KH. Muhammad Arwani Amin is one of the leading scholars of Qur'an memorization in the archipelago. The influence of his thoughts is very large can be observed since the establishment of Pondok Yanbu'ul Qur'an increasingly mushrooming Pondok Tahfidzul Qur'an throughout the archipelago that applies his thoughts, especially the JQH UNIA Prenduan tahfidz program. Jam'iyyatul Qurro' Wal Huffadz is one of the superior non-academic programs for UNIA intensive program students which was officially established in 2018 under the auspices of PP. Al-Amien Prenduan. The problem in this study is how the UNIA JQH program implements KH. Arwani's thoughts and what are the supporting factors as well as obstacles to the implementation of KH. Arwani's thoughts in the program. The purpose of this study is to describe the implementation of KH. Arwani's thoughts in the JQH program and describe the supporting factors as well as the obstacles to the implementation of KH. Arwani's thoughts in the program. The approach in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that the UNIA JQH program implements KH. Arwani's thoughts as guidelines or alternatives to answer the various challenges of female students in memorizing the Qur'an. This can be observed from the concept and method of memorizing the Qur'an, Adab and the application of memorizing the Qur'an with a sorogan system. And the supporting factor is the regulations that are implemented. While the obstacle is the lack of time allocation for special activities for the JQH program on the sidelines of the Ma'had and UNIA Campus activity schedules.

Abstract

The balance between human physical and psychological aspects is essential. In today's technological age, many individuals tend to prioritize material possessions, often at the expense of their inner needs. To address this imbalance, it is vital to incorporate spiritual dimensions, especially those that focus on the relationship with God. Sufism, particularly through practices such as the Tarekat Tijaniyah, offers spiritual guidance that enables individuals to attain peace of mind. This study explores the role of spiritual guidance through dhikr within the tarekat as a means of enhancing the spiritual quality of its followers. A qualitative approach, utilizing phenomenological research, is employed to understand the experiences of adherents of Tarekat Tijaniyah in the Pragaan Subdistrict. The findings indicate that through the regular and heartfelt practice of wirid and dhikr, followers experience profound spiritual moments that cultivate admirable qualities such as sincerity, patience, tawakkal (trust in God), and gratitude. This underscores the importance of achieving a balance between the spiritual and material aspects of life, resulting in inner peace and reinforced faith. The spiritual guidance provided by the muqoddam includes enlightenment, counsel, and practical spiritual exercises. The personality and charisma of the muqoddam serve as significant role models, promoting religious discipline and enriching the spiritual and mental lives of the community, ultimately benefiting society as a whole.

Abstract

Ahmadiyya students represent a minority group within an educational setting dominated by the Sunni majority. This article explores their interpretation of freedom to learn in the context of Islamic Religious Education, which is largely shaped by the prevailing Sunni ideology encountered in classrooms and schools. The study employs a qualitative approach using a phenomenological method. Nine students from SMPN 16 Mataram were selected as informants. Based on in-depth interviews and observations, the findings reveal that Ahmadiyya students generally feel they are treated equally to other students and do not experience institutional discrimination. Nevertheless, they occasionally face negative treatment from peers. Despite the absence of overt discrimination, these students do not experience full educational freedom. The content of Islamic Religious Education often contradicts Ahmadiyya theological perspectives, particularly concerning the prophethood of Muhammad, Jesus, and Mirza Ghulam Ahmad. Additionally, they face challenges in participating in congregational prayers held in the school’s mushalla, as their doctrine stipulates that such prayers should ideally only be conducted with fellow Ahmadiyya adherents in Ahmadiyya mosques. Their compliance with school practices is largely a strategy to adapt, maintain personal safety, and avoid conflict, ridicule, or acts of aggression. This study has certain limitations due to the limited availability of research subjects to junior high school students, whose ability to provide in-depth responses is constrained. The originality of this research lies in its exploration of Ahmadiyya students' self-conception and their interpretation of freedom to learn within Islamic Religious Education in a school environment dominated by the Sunni majority.

Abstract

This community service project aims to enhance the competence of Indonesian language teachers in integrating Augmented Reality (AR) technology into the learning process. The methods employed include participatory training, hands-on media development using Assemblr Edu, and continuous mentoring through both face-to-face and online sessions. These three methods are systematically integrated: the training provides theoretical and technical foundations, the hands-on sessions build practical skills in AR media development, and the mentoring ensures sustainable implementation and adaptation to classroom challenges. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding and skills in applying AR, as reflected in pre- and post-test score gains and the production of concrete learning modules. The application of these AR-based media in classrooms has created a more interactive and contextual learning environment, increasing students’ engagement and comprehension of Indonesian language content. In the long term, this initiative has the potential to foster a culture of innovation within partner schools, enhance teachers’ digital literacy, and expand the adoption of educational technology. The availability of AR modules, documentation of best practices, and sustained mentoring are key factors in ensuring the long-term benefits of this program.
