Abstract

Competition in the beverage packaging industry is getting tighter, requiring companies to continue to build consumer loyalty. The AQUA brand, although widely known, has experienced a decline in the Top Brand Index over the past four years, indicating a decline in consumer purchasing decisions. This study aims to examine the influence of electronic word of mouth and customer trust on purchasing decisions for Aqua brand bottled drinking water in Demak City with purchase interest as an intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and data collection through questionnaires. Data analysis techniques are carried out using AMOS-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results of the study indicate that Electronic Word Of Mouth (EWOM) does not have a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, Customer Trust has a positive and significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, Purchase Interest has a significant influence on Purchasing Decisions, Electronic Word Of Mouth (EWOM) does not have a significant influence on Purchase Interest, Customer Trust has a significant positive influence on Purchase Interest, Electronic Word Of Mouth (EWOM) does not have a significant influence on Purchase Decisions through Purchase Interest, and Customer Trust has a significant positive influence on Purchase Decisions through Purchase Interest.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of motivation, perceptions of education, and training on employee career development. The method used was a quantitative approach using survey techniques and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that motivation, perceptions of education, and training each have a positive and significant influence on career development. Employees with high motivation, positive perceptions of education, and who participate in effective training tend to have better career opportunities. These findings confirm that career development is determined not only by organizational structural factors, but also by individual motivation and continuous learning processes.

Abstract

Fluktuasi pendapatan merupakan hal yang umum dalam dunia bisnis, namun fluktuasi yang terjadi pada gerai Mixue di Pasar Puri menunjukkan ketidaksesuaian dengan tren pertumbuhan Mixue secara nasional. Meskipun dikenal sebagai merek minuman dan es krim yang populer dan terjangkau, gerai tersebut mengalami ketidakstabilan penjualan. Fenomena ini menimbulkan dugaan bahwa faktor- faktor seperti lokasi usaha, citra merek, dan labelisasi halal berperan dalam memengaruhi keputusan konsumen untuk melakukan pembelian. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing variabel tersebut terhadap keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel ditentukan menggunakan rumus Lemeshow, yang menghasilkan 138 responden yang merupakan konsumen Mixue yang telah berusia minimal 17 tahun dan pernah membeli produk Mixue Ice Cream & Tea. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner, dan analisis data menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda dengan bantuan software IBM SPSS Statistics versi 26 dengan melakukan uji kelayakan data, uji asumsi klasik, dan uji hipotesis untuk memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas hasil. Lokasi strategis memudahkan akses konsumen, citra merek yang positif meningkatkan kepercayaan, dan labelisasi halal menambah keyakinan konsumen muslim. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Lokasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, Citra merek juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, dan Labelisasi halal memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Keterbatasan penelitian ini terletak pada jumlah variabel yang digunakan terbatas. Oleh karena itu, penelitian lanjutan disarankan untuk mencakup jumlah sampel yang lebih besar dan menambahkan variabel lain guna memperkaya analisis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan “untuk menyelidiki hubungan antara komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel intervening dan pengaruh motivasi dan kompetensi sumber daya manusia terhadap kinerja karyawan di UMKM yang berlokasi di Kota Batam. Seratus karyawan dari sektor UMKM Kota Batam menjadi sampel penelitian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan data dianalisis menggunakan PLS-SEM yang diolah menggunakan SmartPLS versi 4.1.1.1.” Temuan menunjukkan bahwa komitmen organisasi memengaruhi motivasi karyawan, yang pada gilirannya memengaruhi kompetensi sumber daya manusia, yang pada gilirannya memengaruhi kinerja karyawan. Oleh karena itu, gagasan ini memiliki banyak pengaruh dan dukungan. Lebih lanjut, keterlibatan memiliki efek yang menguntungkan dan signifikan secara statistik terhadap kinerja (p = 0,005). Kompetensi sumber daya manusia dikaitkan dengan tingkat kinerja karyawan yang secara signifikan lebih tinggi (P = 0,022).” Demikian pula, variabel motivasi memiliki dampak substansial terhadap kinerja karyawan (p = 0,021). Variabel-variabel ini memiliki dampak substansial terhadap produksi pekerja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work flexibility and compensation on the performance of Shopeefood drivers in Semarang City, with work motivation as an intervening variable. The method used in this study is quantitative, utilizing primary data with a questionnaire collected from 96 Shopeefood driver respondents. Hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The results of this study prove that: (1) Work flexibility has a significant effect on work motivation (2) Compensation has a significant effect on work motivation (3) Work flexibility has a significant effect on performance (4) Compensation has no significant effect on performance (5) Work motivation has a significant effect on performance (6) Work flexibility has a significant effect on performance through work motivation as an intervening variable (7) Compensation has no significant effect on performance through work motivation as an intervening variable

Abstract

Remote work, accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic, has transformed operational models across Indonesian Shared Service Centers (SSCs), offering flexibility but also creating challenges in maintaining budgetary discipline. This study examines how remote work and incentive structures shape the formation of budget slack, with particular attention to the moderating role of trust and organizational integration. Employing a quasi-experimental Difference-in-Differences (DiD) design, data were drawn from surveys, operational logs, and HR records across SSC units in Indonesia, with budget slack measured using validated Likert-scale instruments. The DiD estimations also included interaction terms for trust and incentives to test moderating effects. The findings indicate that remote work tends to increase budget slack due to reduced managerial oversight, yet performance-based incentives such as KPI-linked bonuses and ESOPs significantly mitigate this effect, especially in environments characterized by high managerial trust. The study underscores the need for holistic control frameworks combining digital tools, human centered leadership, and policy coordination. Effective SSC governance in hybrid environments requires incentive alignment, trust building, and cross functional collaboration.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital economy has transformed global commerce and presented significant challenges for international taxation. This study provides a narrative review of cross-border taxation issues and regulatory responses, with a focus on identifying challenges, evaluating national approaches, and assessing multilateral frameworks. Literature was systematically collected from leading academic databases, including Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar, using keywords such as digital economy, cross-border taxation, and regulatory responses. Inclusion criteria emphasized studies addressing digital services taxes, tax compliance, and emerging technologies in fiscal systems. Results reveal four dominant themes: cross-border taxation challenges, national regulatory responses, multilateral initiatives, and the implications of emerging technologies. Evidence shows that the lack of physical presence undermines tax enforcement, national approaches vary in effectiveness, and OECD’s BEPS framework, while promising, faces political and technical obstacles. Moreover, digital assets such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs complicate valuation and jurisdiction, demanding new regulatory strategies. The discussion highlights how systemic inequities disadvantage developing economies, while advanced economies benefit from stronger institutions. Solutions proposed in the literature include multilateral cooperation, blockchain-based transparency tools, and context-specific digital services taxes. The review concludes by stressing the urgency of inclusive global reforms, investments in administrative capacity, and further empirical research to ensure fair, effective, and sustainable digital taxation. These findings provide critical insights for policymakers and researchers seeking to align fiscal systems with the realities of the digital economy.

Abstract

Profitability is a key indicator in assessing a company’s financial performance, particularly in the personal care industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study aims to analyze the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on profitability as measured by Net Profit Margin (NPM). The research employed a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis based on the financial statements of personal care companies for the 2021–2024 period. The findings reveal that ROA has a positive and significant effect on NPM, indicating that the more efficiently a company manages its assets, the higher the net profit margin achieved. Meanwhile, ROE and DER show no significant effect on NPM, implying that shareholder equity returns and debt utilization in the capital structure have not directly enhanced net profitability. These results suggest that optimal asset management is a crucial factor in improving the financial performance of personal care companies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh self management, perfeksonisme dan dukungan sosial terhadap prokrastinasi akademik dalam penyelesaian skripsi mahasiswa Universitas PGRI Semarang (Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis, Fakultas Hukum dan Fakultas Teknik dan Informatika). Penelitian ini menggunakan 242 responden, proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dengan menggunakan google form pada mahasiswa di fakultas tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling dengan kuesioner dan metode analisis regresi linier berganda dengan alat uji statistik. Pengukuran pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert dan pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan alat bantu IBM SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara self management, perfeksionisme dan dukungan sosial terhadap prokrastinasi akademik. Hasil pengujian koefisien determinasi diperoleh nilai dari Ajusted R Square sebesar 0,570 atau 57%. Hal ini dapat diartikan bahwa variabel self management, perfeksionisme dan dukungan sosial sebesar 57%, sedangkan sisanya 0,430 atau 43% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi, lingkungan kerja, dan keterampilan kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan pada CV Leo Putra Makmur. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 102 responden. Analisis data dilakukan dengan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, multikolinearitas, heteroskedastisitas, regresi linier berganda, uji t, dan uji F dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan keterampilan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja karyawan, sedangkan lingkungan kerja tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas kerja. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel berpengaruh terhadap produktivitas kerja dengan kontribusi sebesar 47,9%, sementara sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar penelitian ini. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa peningkatan budaya organisasi yang positif dan keterampilan kerja yang baik dapat mendorong peningkatan produktivitas kerja karyawan, sedangkan lingkungan kerja belum menjadi faktor dominan dalam memengaruhi produktivitas kerja pada CV Leo Putra Makmur.
