Abstract

Abstrak. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi, penggunaan sosial media menjadi sangat popular diberbagai kalangan khususnya pada kalangan remaja. Sosial media menawarkan banyak manfaat dalam berkomunikasi dan mengakses informasi, akan tetapi sosial media juga memiliki bahaya yang perlu diwaspadai seperti penyebaran informasi palsu atau hoax yang dapat memengaruhi opini publik dan menimbulkan kepanikan atau kebencian. Dengan demikian tim dosen Universitas Khairun melaksanakan kegiatan penyuluhan tentang “Literasi Digital dalam mencegah penyebaran hoax di kalangan remaja”. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengedukasi siswa-siswi agar bijak dalam bersosial media dan mampu menyaring informasi yang beredar di sosial media. Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilaksanakan di Aula SMA Negeri 8 Kota Ternate dan dihadiri oleh 100 peserta yang terdiri dari siswa-siswi kelas X dan XI. Dalam pelaksanaannya, kegiatan ini diawali dengan melakukan pre-test kepada siswa kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pemaparan materi tentang “Mencegah Penyebaran Hoax”. Kegiatan ini ditutup dengan melakukan diskusi kelompok, kuis dan post-test. Dengan terselenggaranya kegiatan ini diharapkan siswa-siswi mampu bijak dalam bersosial media dan mampu menyanring informasi-informasi yang beredar di sosial media dengan mencari kebenaran informasi tersebut sebelum menyebarkannya. Kata Kunci: Literasi Digital, Hoax, Remaja, Sosial Media

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the validity of the environmental education e-module based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) to foster environmental awareness of Educational Geography students at Khairun University. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. This research was conducted only at three stages of the five stages of the ADDIE model, namely analyze, design and development, while the implementation and evaluation stages were not carried out because this research and development was only limited to the development stage which was focused on the validity test process. The data analysis techniques used in this research were qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. Qualitative descriptive analysis was used to process data reviews from material/content experts and media and design experts which were used to revise the development product. While quantitative descriptive analysis was used to process the data obtained through validation sheets. The results of this research showed that the validity value of the material/content expert validator and media and design experts on the environmental education e-module based on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) that was developed had very valid, therefore it is suitable to use in the learning process. This can be seen from the validity of the e-module material/content feasibility reaching a score of 91.25% and the validity of the media and design feasibility reaching a score of 90.38%. In addition, the e-module is also packaged using the Flipcreator Platform which displays text, images, animations, and videos so that it is interesting to learn and easy for students to use anytime and anywhere independently in order to foster an attitude of caring for the environment.

Abstract

The digital era demands educational transformation with relevant learning methods to prepare students to face the world of work. This study developed a Student Activity Sheet (LKPD) based on bioentrepreneurship assisted by Augmented Reality (AR) on fungi material. The aim is to encourage students' creativity and innovation and improve the quality of learning. The research method uses the R&D model with the define, design and develop (3D) stages. This research was conducted in one of the high schools in Ternate City. The research subjects consisted of three expert validators and 15 class X IPA students. The results of the study showed that the LKPD developed was very valid and feasible to use, and effectively improved the quality of student learning on fungi material in high schools.

Abstract

This article examines the role of coastal women in sustainable development, focusing on the challenges and opportunities they encounter. Women in coastal areas significantly contribute to fisheries, marine product processing, and environmental conservation. However, they often face various obstacles, including exclusion from decision-making processes and unequal resource access. A gender-based approach is used to explore how empowerment can be achieved through capacity building, enhanced access to technology and capital, and livelihood diversification. Additionally, strengthening social networks and local institutions proves essential for supporting active female participation. Inclusive and gender-sensitive public policies are key to creating an environment that fosters women's empowerment. Through these measures, the empowerment of coastal women is expected to enhance their contributions to sustainable development, strengthen community resilience, and support more sustainable natural resource management.

Abstract

Stres hadir karena berbagai macam penyebab, diantaranya ketidakmampuan mahasiswa beradaptasi dengan keadaan lingkungannya terutama lingkungan kampus, faktor keluarga, dan karena bingung membuat keputusan. Hal ini dapat dipengaruhi oleh pola pikir mereka terhadap situasi lingkungan tersebut. Program pengabdian masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa dalam mengelola stresnya secara positif agar terhindar dari perilaku-perilaku yang menyimpang akibat stres yang berdampak pada aktivitas akademiknya. Metode yang digunakan berupa metode ceramah untuk memberikan sejumlah informasi sehubungan atau yang berkaitan dengan masalah pokok yakni stres akademik dan disampaikan secara klasikal, serta metode pelatihan dengan memberikan treatment kepada peserta untuk melakukan berbagai strategi dalam manajemen stres melalui teknik meditasi hening. Hasil kegiatan PKM terbukti mampu mereduksi stres akademik mahasiswa FKIP Unkhair dari sebelumnya mahasiswa cenderung memiliki tingkat stress sedang menjadi mahasiswa dengan tingkat stress rendah. Selain itu, tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan teknik meditasi hening ini sangat baik atau positif. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari indikator kehadiran mahasiswa mencapai 100% selama kegiatan berlangsung.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to enhance the capacity of the fishing group in Bajo Village, Kayoa District, South Halmahera Regency, in applying more efficient and high-quality fish drying technology. Most fishermen in Bajo Village still use traditional sun-drying methods, which often face weather challenges and inconsistent drying results. The training was conducted in two stages: socialization and practice. In the socialization stage, fishermen were introduced to the importance of modern drying technology to improve the quality and marketability of dried fish products. During the practice stage, they were trained to use a internet of things (IoT) based drying fish device that can better control temperature and humidity. This training is expected to help fishermen improve the production of higher quality, hygienic, and competitive dried fish, thereby positively impacting the economic well-being of the Bajo Village community. Abstrak Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas kelompok nelayan di Desa Bajo, Kecamatan Kayoa, Kabupaten Halmahera Selatan, dalam penerapan teknologi pengeringan ikan yang lebih efisien dan berkualitas. Sebagian besar nelayan di Desa Bajo masih menggunakan metode pengeringan tradisional yang bergantung pada sinar matahari, yang sering menghadapi kendala cuaca dan hasil pengeringan yang tidak konsisten. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dalam dua tahap, yaitu sosialisasi dan praktik. Pada tahap sosialisasi, nelayan diberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya teknologi pengeringan modern untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan daya jual produk ikan kering. Pada tahap praktik, mereka dilatih menggunakan alat pengering ikan berbasis internet of things (IoT) yang dapat mengontrol suhu dan kelembapan secara lebih baik. Pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat membantu nelayan meningkatkan hasil produksi ikan kering yang lebih berkualitas, higienis, dan kompetitif di pasaran, serta memberikan dampak positif bagi kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Bajo.

Abstract

This study explores the Smart House Program as a community service initiative aimed at enhancing literacy and empowering the Tubo community in Ternate, North Maluku. The program integrates literacy enhancement with community empowerment by focusing on three key areas: disaster mitigation literacy, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship development. A multi-faceted approach was employed, which included the construction of a Smart House as a literacy center, hands-on training in biofloc-based fish farming, and hydroponic vegetable cultivation. The program also involved the digital literacy training of community members, specifically targeting women in the local PKK (Family Welfare Movement) group. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in the community's ability to utilize digital platforms, an increase in disaster preparedness knowledge, and enhanced entrepreneurial skills, leading to improved productivity and economic resilience. This initiative presents a scalable model for addressing literacy and livelihood challenges in rural, disaster-prone areas. Abstrak Artikel ini mengeksplorasi Program Rumah Cerdas sebagai inisiatif pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi dan memberdayakan masyarakat Kelurahan Tubo di Ternate, Maluku Utara. Program ini mengintegrasikan peningkatan literasi dengan pemberdayaan komunitas melalui fokus pada tiga area utama: literasi mitigasi bencana, literasi digital, dan pengembangan kewirausahaan. Pendekatan multifaset digunakan, termasuk pembangunan Rumah Cerdas sebagai pusat literasi, pelatihan praktik dalam budidaya ikan berbasis bioflok, dan budidaya sayuran hidroponik. Program ini juga melibatkan pelatihan literasi digital bagi anggota masyarakat, khususnya perempuan dalam kelompok PKK (Pemberdayaan Kesejahteraan Keluarga) setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan masyarakat untuk memanfaatkan platform digital, peningkatan pengetahuan tentang kesiapsiagaan bencana, dan keterampilan kewirausahaan yang lebih baik, yang mengarah pada peningkatan produktivitas dan ketahanan ekonomi. Inisiatif ini menawarkan model yang dapat diperluas untuk mengatasi tantangan literasi dan mata pencaharian di daerah pedesaan yang rawan bencana.

Abstract

One source of raw water that is often used by humans is groundwater, namely water that occupies cavities in the layers of rock beneath the earth's surface. Groundwater is often used as a source of raw water or a source of clean water by the community apart from river and lake water. Each region has its own level of groundwater potential that can be utilized. The purpose of the analysis carried out is to determine the distribution of potential groundwater in each sub-district area in Gowa Regency through the use of a Geographic Information System (GIS), by applying the overlay method to a number of variables which are factors that influence the presence of groundwater, such as slope, use land, soil type, geology, and rainfall. The results of the analysis that has been carried out show that Gowa Regency has groundwater potential that is spread over each of its sub-districts, where it is divided into a number of potential levels of groundwater availability starting from very low, low, medium, high, and very high.

Abstract

A lecturer's responsibility in implementing the University’s three main purposes for the benefit of society is community service. Community service is considered necessary as a means to bridge the gap between the campus and the community, in this case, the geography teachers in Ternate City who are members of the MGMP Geography Teacher Community of Ternate City, who often carry out activities centered at SMAN 4 Ternate City. To improve the competencies of geography teachers, it is considered necessary for lecturers from the Geography Education Study Program, FKIP, Universitas Khairun to conduct training on creating digital thematic maps using GIS applications. The advantage of thematic maps lies in the fact that standard rules as applied in topographic maps are not strictly adhered to. Thematic maps are more straightforward, and the subjectivity of the mapmaker is highly influential. The training method used was a presentation method followed by demonstration and practical training. The research results indicate that the training on creating thematic maps using GIS effectively improved teachers' knowledge and skills in creating thematic maps. This is evidenced by the increase in the average pre-test and post-test scores of the training participants, as well as a positive change in the partners' attitude towards the use of GIS in learning.

Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu: Untuk mengetahui problematika belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Kepulauan Sula dan untuk mengetahui solusi dari problematika belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Kepulauan Sula. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah apa sajakah problematika belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Kepulauan Sula dan bagaimana solusi dari problematika belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi kelas X SMA Negeri 6 Kepulauan Sula, metode yang di pakai adalah kualitatif. Adapun temuan masalah yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar dalam mata pelajaran Geografi terdiri atas minat dan motivasi belajar. Berkaitan dengan minat, guru mata pelajaran Geografi mengungkapkan bahwa selama jam pelajaran, masih ada siswa yang tidak mengikuti pelajaran dengan sangat antusias, terlebih lagi saat jam pelajaran Geografi disiang hari, siswa sering mengantuk di kelas sehingga menyebabkan kurangnya konsentrasi saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Penyebab lainnya adalah kurangnya perhatian siswa kelas X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Kepulauan Sula terhadap mata pelajaran Geografi, dikarenakan belajar Geografi membutuhkan konsentrasi yang tinggi seperti memahami materi tentang karakteristik lapisan bumi atau (atmosfer). Siswa sering merasa kesulitan dalam materi tersebut, karena cenderung menekankan siswa untuk tetap fokus dan tidak memikirkan hal lain diluar jam pelaran berlangsung.
