Abstract

Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di sekolah dasar menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti rendahnya minat belajar dan pencapaian hasil belajar siswa yang belum optimal. Kondisi ini diperburuk oleh dominasi metode konvensional seperti ceramah yang kurang menarik, sehingga siswa cenderung pasif dan kesulitan memahami konsep-konsep IPAS yang bersifat abstrak. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan mengintegrasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dan media pop up book yang bersifat interaktif dan visual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD berbantuan media pop up book terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Negeri 040481 Cintarakyat Tahun Pembelajaran 2024/2025. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen kuantitatif dengan desain pretest dan posttest terhadap 40 siswa sebagai sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata dari pretest sebesar 65,25 menjadi 82,75 pada posttest. Berdasarkan uji-t diperoleh nilai t_hitung = 5,247 dan t_tabel = 1,684, sehingga Ha diterima. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran STAD berbantuan media pop up book berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model pembelajaran Window Shopping dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita fiksi siswa kelas VI SDN 066044 Helvetia. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang mengacu pada model Kemmis dan McTaggart yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 24 siswa kelas VI. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes menulis cerita fiksi yang dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dari siklus I ke siklus II. Nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat dari 72,5 menjadi 80,2, dan ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 54% menjadi 83%. Peningkatan ini mencakup kemampuan siswa dalam mengembangkan struktur narasi, konflik, diksi, dan unsur cerita lainnya. Model Window Shopping terbukti efektif dalam mendorong kolaborasi, eksplorasi ide, dan penguatan struktur penulisan melalui diskusi antarkelompok dan umpan balik. Dengan demikian, model ini mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis cerita fiksi serta minat dan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of fourth grade students of State Elementary School 167643 Tebing Tinggi as seen from the results of daily test scores. This type of research is quantitative research using experimental methods and one group pretest-posttest design. The type of sample used is total sampling. The research sample used was 37 fourth grade students. Based on the results of the study, it shows that there is an influence of Problem Based Learning (PBL) Assisted by Baamboozle on the Learning Outcomes of Fourth Grade Students in the Science Subject at State Elementary School 167643 Tebing Tinggi in the 2024/2025 Academic Year, including the good category with an average of 78.59. The results of this study indicate that the results of the correlation test can be seen in the correlation coefficient value of 0.732, meaning that r_count (0.732)> r_table (0.324) means that Ha is accepted. So there is a strong influence between the Problem Based Learning Assisted by Baamboozle learning model on student learning outcomes. It can also be seen from the results of the t-test where t_count> t_table, namely 6.365> 1.687, thus stating that Ha is accepted. This shows a significant influence of the use of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by Baamboozle on the science learning outcomes of grade IV students at SD Negeri 167643 Tebing Tinggi in the 2024/2025 academic year.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) Cooperative Learning Model on Student Learning Outcomes in Theme 8 Our Friend's Environment Class V of State Elementary School 155701 Pahieme 2 Learning Year 2023/2024. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. The total research sample was 30 students based on purposive sampling technique. To determine students' initial abilities, the research conducted a Pre Test with an average score of 52.63 which was in the poor category. The results of the Post Test have improved from the Pre Test results given previously with the students' average score reaching 75.53 in the good category. It can be said that the level of success in student learning outcomes has increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient test calculation, which obtained r_count ≥ r_tabel with results of 0.766 ≥ 0.361. Next, hypothesis testing is comparing the t_count≥ t_table values. The obtained value of t_count = 6.311 while t_table = 1.697. Because t_count ≤ t_table (6.311 ≥ 1.697) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the Team Assisted Individualization type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in class IV Mathematics at SD Negeri 22 Sigaol Marbun for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is an experimental method with a quantitative research type. To obtain the data required a test instrument of 25 questions. The total research sample was 31 students based on purposive sampling technique. To determine students' initial abilities, the research conducted a Pre Test with an average score of 56.77 which was included in the poor category. The results of the Post Test have improved from the Pre Test results given previously with the students' average score reaching 73.29 in the good category. It can be said that the level of success in student learning outcomes has increased as evidenced by the results of the correlation coefficient test calculation, which obtained r_count ≥r_tabel with results of 0.716 ≥ 0.355. Next, hypothesis testing compares the t_count ≥t_table value. The obtained value of t_count = 5.523 while t_table = 1.696. Because t_count ≥t_table (5.523 ≥ 1.696) then H_a is accepted and H_o is rejected. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the Inquiry learning model (X) on student learning outcomes (Y).

Abstract

Unit pengabdian masyarakat universitas sari mutiara indonesia sebagai lembaga yang tidak hanya memainkan peranannya sebagai ‘’ agent of change’’ dan bersikap kritis terhadap suatu dinamika kehidupan masyarakat sekitar, terutama di luar kampus yang dalam hal ini adalah masyakat yang juga merupakan bagian yang tidak bisa dipisahkan dari kehidupan masyarakat itu sendiri. Tujuan dan manfaat kegiatan antara lain meningkatkan pemahaman,kemampuan dan motivasi ibu tentang penyakit malaria, praktek pelaksaan kegiatan pengabdian: penyuluhan pelatihan komunikasi kepada ibu tempat kegiatan dilaksaan di kantor lurah pencurbatu waktu kegiatan dilakukan selama 2 (dua) hari mulai tanggal 19 Oktober 2019 s/d 20 Oktober 2019. Kesimpulan kegiatan dilaksanakan sesuai dengan tujuan dan rencana, dan sambutan yang baik dari lurah staff, dan masyarakat di desa bintang meriah kecamatan pancurbatu kabupaten deli serdang kegiatan ini memberikan wacana baru bagi para ibu-ibu untuk dapat menyebarluaskan informasi kesehatan tantang penyakit malaria, penularan dan pencegahan kepada keluarga, teman dan juga masyarakat sekitar. Saran kegiatan ini hendaknya dapat dilakukan untuk setiap masyarakat lainnya baik di desa bintang meriah maupun masyarakat sekitar yang mempunyai kondisi lingkunga yang kondusif bagi nyamuk anopheles sebagai penyebab penyakit malaria, hasil kegiatan masih perlu di kembangkan agar kerjasamanya dengan masyarakat dan lintas sektor serta program dapat lebih meningkat.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using the Student Teams Achievement Devision (Stad) type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the material Building Rooms, Cubes and Blocks for class IV SD 067093 Medan Helvetia in 2023/2024. This type of research is quantitative using the one group pretest-posttest design method. The population of this study were all fourth grade students at SD 067093 Medan Helvetia who were studied in one class totaling 23 students. Sampling was taken using saturated sampling and a sample of 23 students was obtained. Based on the results of this research, it shows that the student learning outcomes before doing it where 21 students did not complete with a percentage of 91.30% and 2 students completed with a percentage of 8.69% which was obtained from the average pretest score of 53.26, and after using the learning model Cooperative Type Student Teams Achievement Devision (Stad) shows that student learning outcomes are in the very good category with an average of 80.21, where 20 people have a completion percentage of 89.95% and 3 students who get scores below the average (mean) have percentage 13.04%. The results of this research show that the correlation test results can be seen in the correlation coefficient value of 0.698, meaning Tcount (0.698) > Ttable (0.361), so ha is accepted, so there is a strong influence between the learning model and the influence of using the cooperative learning model. Type Student Teams Achievement Division (Stad) on student learning outcomes can also be seen from the results of the t-test where tcount > ttable, namely 7.617 > 2.080, thus stating that the Ha hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is an influence of the Student Teams Achievement Division (Stad) cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes in the material Building Cubes and Blocks for class IV SD 067093 Medan Helvetia in 2023/2024.

Abstract

This research aims to 1.) Find out whether using animated interactive media can improve student learning outcomes in science learning class VA at Free Methodist 2 Medan Private Elementary School. 2.) Know how learning is implemented after using the Discovery Learning learning model assisted by Animation Interactive Media in science lessons in the VA class of Free Methodist 2 Medan Private Elementary School. 3.) Find out whether there is an influence of animated interactive media on student learning outcomes in science learning class VA at Free Methodist 2 Medan Private Elementary School. This research method is quantitative research. The design of this research uses posttest and pretest experiments, with a sample of VA class research totaling 25 students. Data collection techniques in the study used observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques used Correlation Coefficient Test and Hypothesis Test. There is an influence of the Discover Learning learning model on student learning outcomes in science lessons in class VA of Free Methodist 2 Medan Private Elementary School in the 2023/2024 Academic Year. It can be seen from the average pretest score of students of 47.52 and the average posttest score of students of 83.12. Based on the results of the hypothesis test (t-test) with a thieung value ≥ trabel, namely 6.620 ≥ 1.708 at a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. These data can show that Ha is accepted, namely there is an influence between the Discover Learning learning model (X) and student learning outcomes (Y).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the CORE (Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending) learning model assisted by visual media on student learning outcomes in the IPAS subject for Grade IV at SD Negeri 060954 Medan Marelan. The research employed a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design with tests and questionnaires as data collection instruments. A total of 26 students participated as the research sample. The CORE model was implemented through structured steps that guided students to connect prior knowledge with new concepts, organize ideas, reflect on information, and deepen understanding through assignments. The results showed a significant improvement in the students’ average scores from 46.92 (pretest) to 85.34 (posttest), with 23 out of 26 students achieving mastery learning. The t-test analysis yielded tcount = 2.156 > ttable = 2.064, and the correlation coefficient was r = 0.403 > rtable = 0.388, indicating a moderate and significant relationship between the CORE model implementation and student learning outcomes. Furthermore, questionnaire responses revealed that students enjoyed the use of visual media, as it made learning more engaging, concrete, and easier to understand. These findings support cognitive learning theory and previous research showing that the CORE model enhances student engagement and conceptual understanding. It can be concluded that the CORE learning model assisted by visual media significantly improves student learning outcomes in IPAS, while fostering collaborative and meaningful learning experiences.
