Abstract

This study examines the vital role of the customary law of the Baduy Tribe in efforts to preserve their traditions and natural order. The Baduy customary law is deeply rooted in the Sunda Wiwitan belief and the principle of "pikukuh karuhun," which emphasizes harmony with nature and maintaining ecological balance. This principle is reflected in nature conservation practices, such as protecting forests and refraining from damaging valleys, as well as in regulating social and economic life that prioritizes simplicity and honesty. Despite facing the challenges of modernization, the Baduy community continues to strive to sustain their customary law by internalizing traditional values to safeguard cultural identity and environmental preservation. The research questions are 1) What are the structure, values, and role of the Baduy Tribe’s customary law? 2) How is the synergy between the indigenous community and the government in preserving traditions? Using qualitative methods to gain a deep and comprehensive understanding of the role and participation in this phenomenon, with a case study on the Baduy community in Banten, the study finds that 1) The core values of Baduy customary law are simplicity, honesty, mutual cooperation (gotong royong), and harmony with nature, serving as a system for cultural control. 2) The government plays a very important and strategic role in supporting the preservation of the Baduy community’s customary laws and traditions. Holding regulatory and administrative authority, the government can formulate policies that support indigenous communities and protect cultural existence from external threats.   Abstrak Penelitian ini mengkaji peran vital hukum adat Suku Baduy dalam upaya pelestarian tradisi dan tatanan alam mereka. Hukum adat Baduy berakar kuat pada kepercayaan Sunda Wiwitan dan prinsip "pikukuh karuhun," yang menekankan keselarasan dengan alam dan menjaga keseimbangan ekologi. Prinsip ini diwujudkan dalam konservasi alam, seperti menjaga hutan dan tidak merusak lembah, serta dalam pengaturan kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi yang mengutamakan kesederhanaan dan kejujuran. Meskipun menghadapi tantangan modernisasi, masyarakat Baduy terus berupaya mempertahankan keberlangsungan hukum adat mereka dengan menginternalisasi nilai-nilai tradisional untuk menjaga identitas budaya dan pelestarian lingkungan. Lalu 1) Seperti apa struktur, nilai-nilai, serta peran hukum adat Suku Baduy 2) Sinergi antara Masyarakat adat dan pemerintah dalam pelestarian tradisi dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yaitu untuk mendapatkan pemahman yang mendalam dan komprehensif mengenai fenomena peran serta dengan studi kasus pada Masyarakat di suku Baduy Banten lalu menghasilkan 1) Nilai utama hukum adat Baduy adalah kesederhanaan, kejujuran, gotong royong, dan harmoni dengan alam serta sebagai sistem pengendali budaya 2) Pemerintah memiliki peran yang sangat penting dan strategis dalam membantu pelestarian hukum adat dan tradisi masyarakat Suku Baduy memiliki kekuasaan regulatif dan administratif, pemerintah dapat menciptakan kebijakan yang berpihak pada masyarakat adat serta melindungi eksistensi budaya dari ancaman eksternal

Abstract

Abstract: Pesta Laut is an annual tradition held by society as a way of expressing gratitude for the ocean wealth. As a form of preserving the tradition by utilizing social media, culture podcast uploaded on Youtube platform becomes the main product of Community Service Program. This report covers information regarding Pesta Laut tradition created in the form of culture podcast.  The method was case study with focus group discussion to collect the data. Three members of society participating directly in the ritual of Pesta Laut were invited as informants of culture podcast to describe information about this tradition. The podcast production involved three stages: pre-production, production, and post-production. The culture podcast is expected to give contribution to preservation of local culture through easy access of information in the digital era. Keywords: community service program; cultural preservation; pesta laut; podcast.   Abstrak: Pesta Laut merupakan sebuah tradisi tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh masyarakat sebagai bentuk rasa syukur atas kekayaan hasil laut. Sebagai bentuk pelestarian tradisi dengan memanfaatkan media sosial, podcast budaya yang diunggah pada laman Youtube menjadi produk utama kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat. Laporan ini memaparkan informasi mengenai tradisi Pesta Laut yang dikemas dalam bentuk podcast budaya.  Metode yang diterapkan adalah studi kasus dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara kelompok (focus group discussion). Tiga anggota masyarakat yang berpartisipasi langsung dalam ritual Pesta Laut diundang menjadi narasumber podcast budaya untuk memaparkan informasi terkait tradisi ini. Dalam proses produksi podcast budaya terdapat tiga tahapan:  pra produksi, produksi dan pasca produksi. Podcast budaya diharapkan mampu memberi kontribusi terhadap pelestarian budaya lokal dengan kemudahan akses informasi di era digital saat ini. Abstract

Education is one field that is increasingly adopting artificial intelligence (AI) technology in an effort to improve the learning experience. AI-based interactive learning platforms have become a significant trend in modern education. This research aims to analyze user perceptions of AI-based interactive learning platforms and identify factors that influence their acceptance of this technology. We conducted an analysis using the SmartPLS method to explore the relationship between variables that influence user perceptions of AI in education. Research data was collected through surveys given to educational participants using AI-based learning platforms. The results of this research include findings about the extent to which factors such as interaction quality, usability, and social factors influence user perceptions of AI-based learning platforms. The results of data analysis will provide valuable insight into how the educational community accepts and adopts AI technology in the learning process. It is hoped that this research will make a significant contribution to the understanding of the acceptance of AI technology in educational contexts, as well as provide guidance for the development of more effective interactive learning platforms. The findings of this research can also support decision making in implementing AI in educational settings.

Abstract

Introduction/Objective: This study aims to examine the influence of accounting knowledge and experience on business development with the use of accounting information as an intervening variable. Background of the Problem: MSMEs need business development driven by aspects of accounting information and knowledge and business experience by producing various varied results. Novelty: Analyzing the same variables according to previous research but adding intervening variables on MSME actors. Research Method: Using a quantitative approach, data was taken from MSME actors and samples using a random method with criteria obtained 37 samples and the analysis used was path analysis. Findings/Results: Accounting knowledge influences the use of accounting information and business development, business experience influences capital structure, use of accounting information and business development. The use of accounting information has a negative effect on business development and accounting knowledge and business experience do not mediate business development through the use of accounting information. Conclusion: These findings provide important implications in paying attention to global and technical economic factors so that they can be used as considerations before developing and investing in a company.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of brand community (X1) and word of mouth (X2) on the decision to use (Y) Atap Bumi Adventure outdoor equipment rental services in Cisauk. The research method used is quantitative with an associative approach. The research population is 376 consumers of Atap Bumi Adventure, and the sample determination uses the probability sampling method and the sampling technique uses the random sampling method. The sample determination uses the Slovin formula with a 5% error rate, with a sample result of 79 people. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple and multiple linear regression, correlation coefficients, and determination coefficients, as well as classical assumption tests (normality, multicollinearity, autocorrelation, and heteroscedasticity) and significance tests (partial and simultaneous) with the help of SPSS version 25. The results of the study indicate that brand community (X1) has a positive and significant effect on the decision to use (Y) partially, with a calculated t-value (7.462) > t-table (1.665) and significance (0.000) < 0.05. The contribution of brand community to the decision to use is 86.8%, word of mouth (X2) does not have a positive and significant influence on the decision to use (Y) partially, with a calculated t-value (0.531) < t-table (1.665) and significance (0.597) > 0.05. The contribution of word of mouth to the decision to use is 77.3%, brand community (X1) and word of mouth (X2) simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on the decision to use (Y), with a calculated F-value (255.707) > F-table (3.117) and significance (0.000) < 0.05. The contribution of both variables together to the decision to use is 86.7%, while the remaining 13.3% is influenced by other factors. The conclusion of this study is that brand community has an important role in influencing consumer decisions, while word of mouth partially does not show a significant influence. However, when both variables are combined, both significantly influence the decision to use Atap Bumi Adventure's outdoor equipment rental services.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di perusahaan membutuhkan fokus yang signifikan melihat persoalan peningkatan kualitas karyawan yang lebih baik lagi. Kebutuhan perusahaan yang sangat banyak tentu menjadi tugas bagi karyawan untuk selalu mengembangkan potensi diri. Tentu manajemen strategis, menajemen talenta, dan pengembangan kompetensi berdampak pada proses ini. Pada peneltian kali ini peneliti ingin secara mendalam menganalisis dampak penerapan beberapa manajemen terhadap kebutuhan perusahaan yang sangat banyak dalam menjalankan bisnis. Penelitian ini berfokus pada metode kualitatif deskriptif, dengan metode ini penelitian akan dilakukan secara sistematis maupun spesifik untuk mendapatkan informasi secara detail mengenai permasalahan yang akan diteliti. Hasil dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa pengembangan dan pendayagunaan sumber daya manusia sangat dibutuhkan oleh organisasi. perencanaan strategis sumber daya manusia, pengembangan kompetisi, dan manajemen talenta sangat penting bagi perusahaan guna mendorong mediasi inovasi dan otomatisasi seluruh operasi perusahaan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan perencanaan straegis SDM, Pengembangan Kompetensi, dan Manajemen Talenta berdampak positif pada inovasi proses dengan mediasi dan otomatisasi proses.

Abstract

A budget is a written plan regarding the activities of an organization that is expressed quantitatively and is generally expressed in units of money for a certain period. The budget can also be a coordination tool in the implementation of the activity plan of each part of the organization so that the resulting planning is an integrated and detailed overall company plan. This paper aims to find out the role of the use of budget as a performance control tool in organizations and the obstacles in budgeting as a performance control tool in organizations. In this study, the Study Literature Review (SLR) research method is used. This method is used to identify, review, evaluate, and interpret all studies. Based on the studies that have been carried out, it is known that in controlling the performance and evaluation of an organization, the budget acts as a benchmark to evaluate the actual performance of the company. There are several obstacles in budget to control the organization where there are several errors, namely market uncertainty, organizational commitment, and limited resources.

Abstract

Background: Public awareness of environmental health in waste management is one of the causes of government problems in waste management, especially in tourist destination areas. The behavior of carrying shopping bags is one of the efforts to reduce the volume of non organic waste. The success of this behavior has many influencing factors, so the purpose of this study is to determine the factors associated with the behavior of carrying shopping bags in Borobudur District, Magelang Regency, Central Java, Indonesia.Subjects and Method: Cross sectional analytic survey research in the Borobudur District area of 374 respondents. The time of this research was in November 2023, with a random sampling technique, and the research instrument was a questionnaire. This study analyzes six independent variables , and participants in the waste bank, on the dependent variable. We used the regression test. Logistics in the final stage.Results: High knowledge of waste management (AOR= 2.43; 95% CI= 1.04 to 5.65; p= 0.040) and participate in a waste bank (AOR= 3.27, 95% CI 1.92 to 5.58; p= 0.001) increased plastic waste reduction behavior. This study showed that there was no relationship between education, gender, occupation, and participants in the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle (TPS3R) Waste Management Site program on the shopping bag carrying behavior. Conclusion: High knowledge of waste management and participate in a waste bank increase plastic waste reduction behavior.

Abstract

Kehamilan merupakan proses yang dialami oleh setiap wanita sebelum melahirkan dan memiliki anak. Pada masa kehamilan sering kali terjadi ketidaknyamanan yang sering mengganggu kegiatan ibu, diantaranya yaitu bengkak kaki. Menurut survey di PMB “P” dari 65 ibu hamil ada sebanyak 49 atau 75 % dari mereka mengeluhkan rasa tidak nyaman akibat kaki bengkak. Salah satu cara untuk mengurangi bengkak kaki yaitu dengan melakukan rendam air hangat. Tujuan studi kasus ini adalah untuk Memberikan Asuhan Kebidanan pada Ny. “Y” dengan Terapi Rendam Air Hangat Terhadap Pengurangan Bengkak Kaki. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan studi kasus yang dilakukan pada Ny. “Y” G1P0A0 dimulai dari usia kehamilan 36 minggu sampai dengan ibu menggunakan kontrasepsi. Subjek penelitian yaitu Ny. ”Y” yang mengalami ketidaknyamanan bengkak kaki pada kehamilan trimester III. Hasil studi kasus yaitu setelah diberikan terapi rendam air hangat setiap 15 menit selama 2 minggu, bengkak kaki pada kehamilan berkurang, sedangkan masa persalinan, nifas dan bayi baru lahir ibu dalam keadaan normal. Kesimpulan dari studi kasus ini yaitu rendam air hangat efektif dalam mengurangi bengkak kaki pada Ny. “Y”. Saran dari studi kasus ini adalah asuhan rendam air hangat bisa diberikan pada ibu hamil trimester III yang mengalami ketidaknyamanan bengkak kaki.

Abstract

Pelatihan "Pengelolaan SDM untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas UMKM dalam Produktivitas Penjualan" berhasil menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pengelolaan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) memiliki peran krusial dalam memperkuat kinerja dan produktivitas UMKM di Bandung Barat. Melalui pelatihan ini, peserta memperoleh pemahaman strategis dan keterampilan praktis dalam aspek rekrutmen, pengembangan karyawan, motivasi, dan penilaian kinerja. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pengelolaan SDM, yang mendukung pertumbuhan usaha dan meningkatkan daya saing UMKM. Pendampingan pasca-pelatihan menjadi elemen vital untuk penerapan keterampilan yang diperoleh secara efektif dan berkelanjutan. Diharapkan, peserta dapat menyebarluaskan pengetahuan yang didapat kepada UMKM lain, sehingga dampak positif dari pelatihan ini dapat meluas dan berkontribusi pada pengembangan ekonomi daerah
