Abstract

The rapid development of quantum computing presents a significant challenge to existing cryptographic systems, such as RSA and Elliptic Curve Cryptography, which rely on the complexity of mathematical problems for security. Shor’s algorithm, which can efficiently solve these problems, emphasizes the need for cryptographic solutions that are resistant to quantum threats. This study aims to investigate the potential of Quantum Cryptography, with a specific focus on Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), to strengthen network security in response to emerging quantum computing risks. Despite the theoretical potential of QKD, there remains a gap in its practical application, particularly in terms of scalability, high implementation costs, and sensitivity to environmental factors, which have hindered its widespread adoption. The novelty of this research lies in the comprehensive approach it takes, combining theoretical analysis of QKD protocols, simulations using Qiskit, and comparisons with traditional cryptographic methods. This provides a more robust understanding of QKD effectiveness in different network scenarios. The study reveals that the BB84 protocol consistently outperforms the E91 protocol in terms of key generation efficiency and noise resilience. However, despite its unmatched security capabilities, QKD faces challenges such as scalability and implementation costs. To overcome these challenges and achieve widespread adoption, integrating QKD with post quantum cryptography and developing hybrid approaches are essential. Quantum Cryptography, particularly QKD, holds the potential to become a cornerstone for securing critical infrastructure, ensuring communication security in the quantum era.

Abstract

MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) refer to economic activities owned by individuals or business entities that meet specific criteria as outlined in Law Number 20 of 2008. As a vital component of the national economy, MSMEs play a crucial role in supporting economic growth. However, in their daily operations, MSMEs often face challenges in managing production costs, particularly those related to leftover materials, defective products, and rework. This study aims to investigate the application of cost accounting for leftover materials and defective products in the MSME Thai Tea, located in Bekasi Regency. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with the owner of the MSME. The findings reveal that cost recording for leftover materials and defective products is still conducted irregularly. Leftover materials are generally overlooked in production efficiency evaluations, and rework costs are not separated from the main production costs. This situation results in a lack of optimal information for managerial decision-making. The study recommends the implementation of a simple yet structured cost accounting system to help MSMEs more accurately identify cost elements and improve production efficiency. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of cost accounting literature in the MSME sector and serve as a practical guideline for business owners in managing production costs effectively

Abstract

Covid-19, penyakit baru yang sangat mudah menular, telah menyebabkan dampak signifikan pada sektor konstruksi di Indonesia. Pembatasan interaksi sosial dan penundaan proyek telah mengganggu banyak perusahaan. Namun, perusahaan strategis harus beradaptasi dengan model bisnis baru dan menghindari pemutusan hubungan kerja yang tidak diinginkan. Kemampuan SDM yang menguasai teknologi sangat penting dalam perkembangan perusahaan selama pandemi. Manajemen SDM diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan, termasuk dalam proses rekrutmen yang mengutamakan calon berkualitas. Penempatan yang tepat akan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Di tengah ketimpangan pencari kerja dan lapangan kerja, manajemen SDM menjadi krusial dalam memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada konsumen. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan data sekunder dari penelitian terdahulu yang relevan dengan topik yang sama. Data tersebut diperoleh dari jurnal-jurnal nasional terakreditasi yang telah dipublikasikan antara tahun 2017 sampai dengan 2022 (sebelum dan selama/setelah pandemi). Hasil tinjauan literatur menunjukkan bahwa rekrutmen karyawan mengalami perubahan signifikan sebelum dan selama pandemi. Sebelumnya, perusahaan memiliki lebih banyak pilihan calon karyawan dan proses seleksi dilakukan secara tatap muka. Namun, selama pandemi, perusahaan menjadi lebih selektif, menggunakan metode rekrutmen online dan virtual, serta memperhatikan protokol kesehatan yang ketat. Pelatihan juga beralih ke format online. Pandemi Covid-19 telah mengubah cara perusahaan merekrut karyawan dengan penekanan pada keamanan dan efisiensi.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This study aims to explore the relationship that can affect the integrity of financial statements with institutional ownership and independent commissioners. Background Problems: The condition of stock market prices declined in 2020 and then changed fluctuatingly, tending to decrease until the following years. Novelty: The existence of profitability variables as a moderating relationship in the study. Research Method: The research method used is a quantitative approach using secondary data through a purposive sampling method as a sampling method. Findings/Results: Institutional ownership has a significant negative effect on the integrity of financial statements, then independent commissioners have a significant positive effect on the integrity of financial statements, and profitability is able to strengthen the relationship to the integrity of financial statements. Conclusion: This finding indicates that an increase in the amount of institutional ownership will potentially lead to non-transparent and manipulative practices or behavior that are detrimental to the integrity of financial statements.

Abstract

If someone says "sorry" that means the person is doing "speech act of apologize". Speechact of apologize are needed in everyday life in order to facilitate communication andharmony in life. Apologizing in Japanese are divided into some part, we called as strategycommunication. They are the beginning of conversation, explaining the reason, apologizingand closing of conversation. We need use the strategy communication when apologizing toavoid the mistake and misunderstanding between speaker and partner. I hope that peoplewho are studying Japanese can use strategy of speech act of apologize in Japanese properly.

Abstract

Pendahuluan/Tujuan: Penelitian ini mengangkat topik faktor yang mempengaruhi nilai perusahaan. yang bertujuan untuk mngetahui apakah corporate governance, profitabilitas dan financial distress berpengaruh terhadap nilai perusahaan. Latar Belakang Masalah: Nilai perusahaan menjadi hal yang penting bagi perusahaan maupun para pemangku kepentingan terutama investor. Bagaimana masyarakat melihat dan menganalisis pengungkapan atas laporan keuangan yang disajikan perusahaan untuk mempengaruhi keputusan investor untuk penanaman modalnya. Kebaharuan: Melakukan pengujin pada objek dan periode yang berbda serta menggunakan alat uji lain yakni eviews. Metode Penelitian: Menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan data sekunder dengan metode proposive sampling dari laporan keuangan perusahaan sebagai data penelitian yang diolah menggunakan Eviews 12. Temuan/Hasil: Corporate covernance, profitabilitas dan financial distress tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan baik secara parsial maupun simultan.  Kesimpulan: Kenaikan dan penurunan laba jangka pendek tidak menjadi pertimbangan utama dalam berinvestasi pada peusahaan sektor ini dan pandangan akan peluang jangka panjang dan aset penting yang dimiliki akan menjadi peluang keuntungan bagi investor
