Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini di latar belakangi oleh kurangnya peran TPQ dalam penanaman pendidikan karakter (religius). Tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah adanya pembaharuan kurikulum yang di terapkan di TPQ, penguatan peran TPQ dalam pendidikan karakter religius . pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Konsultasi, yaitu berupa diskusi interaktif ,Mediasi, tim pengabdian sebagai mediator terkait penyelesaian masalah, Pendampingan, yaitu tim pengabdian melakukan pengabdian terhadap santri di TPQ Silastra dan terhadap pengajar TPQ Silastra. Adapun hasil dan temuan dalam pengabdian ini adalah 1). Terdapat penguatan karakter religious (Islam) pada santri TPQ Salastra, 2) pengajar dapat mengembangkan pembelajaran dengan memasukan unsur karakter, 3) habituasi yang di laksanakan di TPQ Silastra, merupakan salah satu alternatif dalam usaha penguatan pendidikan karakter religious (Islam) kepada santri.

Abstract

Contemporary millennial society experiences significant shifts in cultural values that affect the institution of marriage. In Javanese tradition, the concept of bedah kutha boyong putri embodies noble values regarding male dignity and responsibility in marriage, emphasizing moral, social, and economic readiness through the criteria of lineage, character, and social standing (bibit, bobot, and bebet). However, the emergence of the “Mokondo” marriage phenomenon in the modern era reflects marital practices that contradict these cultural values and potentially generate social problems and legal vulnerabilities, particularly for women. This article aims to analyze the nature of the contradiction between “Mokondo” marriage practices and the Javanese concept of bedah kutha boyong putri, as well as to examine the legal measures available to women to protect their property rights when marrying a “Mokondo” husband. Employing a socio-legal approach, this study utilizes role theory and contract theory as analytical frameworks. The findings reveal, first, that bedah kutha boyong putri positions men as dignified and responsible actors within marital relationships, whereas “Mokondo” marriages undermine and degrade male roles in the marital structure. Second, prenuptial agreements constitute a strategic legal instrument grounded in the principle of freedom of contract to safeguard women’s property rights prior to marriage. This study underscores the importance of integrating local cultural values with modern legal mechanisms in addressing contemporary challenges to marital justice and gender protection.   Realitas kehidupan masyarakat di era milenial menunjukkan terjadinya pergeseran nilai budaya yang berdampak pada institusi perkawinan. Dalam tradisi Jawa, konsep bedah kutha boyong putri merepresentasikan nilai luhur tentang martabat laki-laki dalam membangun rumah tangga, yang menekankan kesiapan moral, sosial, dan ekonomi melalui kriteria bibit, bobot, dan bebet. Namun, munculnya fenomena kawin “Mokondo” di era kontemporer memperlihatkan praktik perkawinan yang bertentangan dengan nilai budaya tersebut dan berpotensi menimbulkan problematika sosial serta kerentanan hukum, khususnya bagi perempuan. Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisis bentuk kontradiksi antara kawin “Mokondo” dan konsep Jawa bedah kutha boyong putri, serta mengkaji langkah hukum yang dapat ditempuh perempuan untuk melindungi hak miliknya dalam perkawinan dengan suami “Mokondo”. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sosio-legal dengan pisau analisis teori peran dan teori kontrak. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, konsep bedah kutha boyong putri menempatkan laki-laki sebagai subjek yang bermartabat dan bertanggung jawab, sedangkan praktik kawin “Mokondo” justru mendegradasi peran dan posisi laki-laki dalam relasi perkawinan. Kedua, perjanjian perkawinan yang dibuat sebelum perkawinan merupakan instrumen hukum strategis yang selaras dengan prinsip kebebasan berkontrak untuk menjamin perlindungan hak milik perempuan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya integrasi nilai budaya lokal dan mekanisme hukum modern dalam merespons tantangan perkawinan di era milenial.

Abstract

Rapid socio-political change and the spread of disinformation demand that Citizenship Education move beyond the rote memorisation of legal norms and instead foster citizens who are capable of critical legal reasoning. This article proposes the repositioning of legal logic as a key epistemic framework within the Citizenship Education curriculum so that learners do not only know what the law states, but also understand why and how law operates in practice. Using a juridical-normative approach combined with qualitative content analysis of curriculum documents, textbooks, and teaching guidelines, this study examines the extent to which dimensions of legal logic—such as deductive–inductive reasoning, juridical argumentation, the distinction between legality and legitimacy, and the assessment of justice in legal norms—are integrated into teaching and learning processes. The findings indicate that the curriculum and learning materials remain dominated by a descriptive-dogmatic approach that positions law as a fixed text rather than as a field of public rationality open to argumentative debate. The proposed repositioning involves a shift from normative pedagogy to critical-argumentative pedagogy by incorporating case analysis exercises, mock trials, and constitutional debates grounded in legal logic into students’ learning experiences. Theoretically, this article strengthens the bridge between legal theory and citizenship education theory, while practically it offers recommendations for curriculum developers, teachers, and education policymakers to design learning that cultivates citizens who are critical, reflective, and responsible both legally and ethically.

Abstract

The social model of conservation has gained increasing relevance as an integrative framework for reinforcing cultural identity and civic values within local communities, particularly in the domains of environmental conservation and cultural preservation. This study examines the role of the social model of conservation in orchid conservation, emphasizing orchids not merely as biological resources but as cultural symbols that embody national awareness, collective responsibility, and civic care. Focusing on Batur Village, Yogyakarta, the research explores how community-based orchid conservation practices contribute to the strengthening of cultural values and citizenship at the local level. Employing a qualitative research design, this study adopts a case study approach supported by participatory observation, in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, and document analysis related to conservation initiatives and civic-cultural values. The findings reveal that the social conservation model implemented in Batur Village has effectively fostered community awareness of cultural heritage and civic responsibility through the symbolic and practical engagement with orchid conservation. Orchids function as a medium through which environmental stewardship, cultural continuity, and civic participation are cultivated and transmitted across community members. This study underscores the potential of socially grounded conservation models to bridge ecological sustainability with cultural and civic development. The findings offer important implications for policy formulation and conservation practices by highlighting the interconnections between nature conservation, cultural values, and citizenship education within Indonesia’s local context. Ultimately, this research contributes to broader discussions on sustainable development by demonstrating how conservation initiatives can simultaneously support environmental resilience and civic-cultural empowerment.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effect of implementing the demonstration learning method on improving student learning outcomes in Pancasila and Citizenship Education (PPKn) learning in class VII of SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. The demonstration learning method was chosen because it was considered to provide direct experience to students, increase understanding of concepts, and improve their practical skills in applying Civics values in everyday life. The research was conducted using a quantitative approach through a single group control pre-test post-test design. The sample for this research was class VII students of SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group who received learning using the demonstration method and the control group who received conventional learning. The research results show that the application of the demonstration learning method significantly improves student learning outcomes in Civics subjects. Data analysis showed that the average post-test score of the experimental group was significantly higher than the average post-test score of the control group. This indicates that the demonstration learning method is effective in increasing students' understanding of Civics material. The findings of this research provide important implications for educational practitioners to consider using demonstration learning methods in improving student learning outcomes, especially in Civics learning. Apart from that, this research also contributes to the development of learning theories and practices that are oriented towards student learning outcomes at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pergeseran makna “nongkrong” di kafe-kafe sebagai bagian dari aktivitas rekreatif menjadi praktik networking yang berkelindan dengan platformisasi digital. Berangkat dari asumsi bahwa kafe tidak lagi sekadar ruang konsumsi, studi ini menelusuri bagaimana anak muda memaknai kehadiran di kafe sebagai proses produksi identitas melalui estetika ruang, performativitas gaya hidup, relasi pertemanan/komunitas, serta jejak digital  pada platform Digital. Data dihimpun melalui wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur dan observasi partisipan di sejumlah kafe yang menjadi titik temu anak muda, disertai penelusuran jejak digital partisipan yang relevan. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan thematic analysis dengan lensa kritis untuk mengungkap bukan hanya pola makna dan praktik, tetapi juga relasi kuasa, logika komodifikasi diri, dan batas-batas sosial yang bekerja dalam pengalaman “nongkrong” kontemporer. Kredibilitas temuan diperkuat melalui triangulasi sumber dan member checking. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kafe berfungsi sebagai “panggung” identitas dan modal sosial: anak muda merancang citra diri, mengelola kesan, serta membangun koneksi akademik, kreatif, dan profesional melalui kombinasi interaksi luring dan visibilitas daring. Namun, praktik ini memunculkan ketegangan antara autentisitas dan komodifikasi, inklusi dan eksklusi berbasis kelas, serta kenyamanan ruang publik dan logika pengawasan/penilaian digital. Studi ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman relasi ruang urban, budaya anak muda, dan platform digital dalam pembentukan identitas kontemporer.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop effective training strategies for teachers of Senior High Schools, Vocational Schools, and Islamic High Schools in strengthening education on Pancasila, human rights, law, and national insight to support the formation of a more just society. By implementing a Training of Trainers (ToT) approach, the study focused on enhancing teachers’ understanding and capacity not only to teach these values conceptually but also to integrate them meaningfully into their classroom practices. The research employed a qualitative method with a case study approach, involving teachers from Bandung and Cimahi who participated in the training program. The findings indicated that the training successfully improved teachers’ competencies in delivering theoretical and contextual learning related to Pancasila, human rights, law, and national insight in a more effective and engaging manner. Furthermore, the program encouraged teachers to internalize and transmit these values to students, fostering the development of individuals who possess legal awareness, respect for human rights, and active participation in national and civic life. The study also demonstrated that structured and reflective training activities can strengthen teachers’ pedagogical confidence and promote value-based learning environments in schools. Overall, this research contributes to the development of a teacher training model that emphasizes strengthening education on Pancasila, human rights, law, and national insight as fundamental pillars for cultivating responsible citizens and advancing the realization of a socially just society.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang dikenal dengan istilah Project Based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mencipta produk sangat tepat digunakan untuk mahasiswa. Pembelajaran ini juga dapat diadaptasi untuk melatih mahasiswa meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahan ajar yang mengerucut pada masalah yang ada di dalam kelas. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisis respon mahasiswa calon guru SD dalam pembelajaran menggunakan model PjBL berbasis transfer of value nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis bahan ajar PKn Calon Guru SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan menggunakan instrumen berupa lembar angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuntitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa calon guru yang mengontrak mata kuliah Pembelajaran PKn di Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar (PGSD) Universitas Muhammadiyah Cirebon. Hasil penelitian menujukan bahwa Respon calon guru SD terhadap pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat dilihat dari hasil angket mahasiswa calon guru yang menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 3,3 dengan kategori respon yang sangat baik.

Abstract

The research aims to find out how the development of android-based interactive media learning media in increasing students' digital awareness. The research process was carried out for five months, from August to December 2023. The research sample was students in the Department of Public Administration, Mekatronika Engineering and Automotive Engineering Education within the scope of the student population at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research findings reveal that the android-based interactive learning media that has been developed has high validity in terms of material, design, and interactivity. The results of student responses to products from android-based interactive media on the material of rights and obligations in learning Citizenship Education reached 122 or 81.33%. If included in the interval 81-100% with a very good category, this media is in a very good category from the aspect of attractiveness. The implication of the results of this study is the development of android-based interactive media in the general compulsory course of Civic Education, especially in Higher Education in accordance with future technological developments in the present and later. Through this study, researchers provide suggestions for developing android-based interactive learning media in the general compulsory course of Civic Education, especially in Higher Education.

Abstract

This study evaluates the use of artificial intelligence (AI)-generated comics as an instructional medium for assessing students’ literacy skills and their understanding of Indonesian local wisdom values. In the context of increasing educational digitalisation, this research explores how AI-generated comics can be integrated into culturally oriented learning. The study employed a mixed-methods design involving 450 students from 15 schools across seven provinces in Indonesia. Data were collected through pre-tests and post-tests, student response questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and participatory observations. The findings show a significant improvement (p < 0.05) in students’ performance after using AI-generated comics, with average increases of 32% in literacy scores and 28% in students’ understanding of local wisdom. Qualitative analyses indicate that students responded positively to the interactive comic format, which provided personalised content aligned with their preferences and learning needs. Overall, the results demonstrate that AI-generated comics can serve as an effective instructional tool for integrating digital technology with culturally relevant learning materials, offering implications for curriculum development and instructional practices in Indonesia.
