Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model picture and picture dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok. Di dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis True Experimental Design dengan menggunakan design Posttes - Only Control Design. Penarikan sampel yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini teknik simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes menulis teks deskripsi, hasil penelitian menulis teks deskripsi menggunakan model Konvensional mencapai rata-rata 50,78 berkategori kurang. Sedangkan, hasil penelitian menulis teks deskripsi menggunakan model picture and picture mencapai nilai rata-rata 72,5 berkategori baik. Berdasarkan hasil posttest model konvensional dan posttes model picture and picture terdapat hasil menulis teks deskripsi dengan diperoleh thitung 2,85, pada taraf signifikan 0,05 ( tingkat kepercayaan 95%) dengan df = 63 diperoleh ttabel = 1,66, signifikan pada p < 0,05. Dengan demikian H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya bahwa Model Picture and Picture lebih efektif dibandingkan model pembelajaran konvensional dalam pembelajaran teks deskripsi kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Tapian Dolok

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan: Untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menulis cerpen sebelum menggunakan media komik digital pada siswa SMP Satrya Budi Karang Rejo tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen, dengan desain penelitian Pre-experimental Design menggunakan bentuk One-Group Pretest Posttest Design. Adapun hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: (1) Nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum menggunakan media komik digital (pretest) 50,32 di kategori cukup. (2)dan nilai rata-rata sesudah menggunakan media komik digital (posttest) 73,06 di kategori baik. (3) Terdapat pengaruh media komik digital pada kemampuan menulis cerita pendek oleh siswa kelas IX SMP Satrya Budi Karang Rejo. Hal tersebut dapat di buktikan dari perhitungan uji-t dengan hasil thitung (3,2)> ttabel (1,697) yang artinya terdapat perbedaan nilai rata-rata pada sebelum menggunakan media komik digital dan sesudah menggunakan media komik digital. Dengan demikian hipotesis yang di ajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah H0 ditolak. Dan Ha diterima, artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kemampuan menulis cerpen pada siswa kelas IX-3 SMP Satrya Budi Karang Rejo.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the various difficulties students face in learning the Indonesian language at the elementary (SD), junior high (SMP), and senior high school (SMA) levels using a literature review approach. Data were gathered from more than 15 primary and secondary sources, including academic journals, textbooks, and previous research findings. The study identifies six major dimensions of language learning difficulties: linguistic, pedagogical, psychological, affective, cognitive, and socio-cultural. Each educational level presents unique challenges—ranging from weak basic literacy skills in elementary school, low motivation in junior high, to underdeveloped critical thinking in high school. These findings highlight the need for contextual, communicative, and literacy-based teaching strategies to improve the effectiveness of Indonesian language instruction. This study contributes to the theoretical and practical understanding of language learning challenges in the national education context. The research underscores the importance of tailoring language instruction to address specific challenges at each educational level. Implementing targeted interventions, such as phonics-based approaches for elementary students and critical thinking exercises for high school learners, could significantly enhance language acquisition outcomes. Furthermore, the study's multidimensional framework provides a comprehensive foundation for developing more effective language teaching methodologies in Indonesia's diverse educational landscape.

Abstract

The aimed of this research is todescribe the code writing & the function in the community of Mobile Legend Bang Bang players and the specific terms which is used of that community,especially found at Pasar baru, Sibuntuon Parpea Villages Lintongnihuta subdistrict. An ethno sociopragmatic approach used to analyze the data Which related to code writing, function of code writing & special terms which used of the community Mobile Legend Palayer in the Subdistrict mentimed. Collecting the data Conducted with technique of observation & interview. Result of the reseach found about 43 special terms that used of Batak Toba language Speaker. Phenomenon of that code writing happened about the factor of limitation by using code of the speaker Which is as the users of BBT so that if it is used Batak Toba Language because less of efficient. This Phenomenon Finally affected their Comunnication in the real life. So,the function of code writing in this phenomenon is to optimize and to effective the used of Vocabularies in Batak Toba Language.

Abstract

This research certainly has goals to be achieved, among others: to revitalize œliteracy, as the neglected local wisdom of Batak Toba. In this study, it is limited to the revitalization of literacy in the city of Medan. Cultural revitalization is the realignment of local cultural values which may have many deviations among cultural adherents, these deviations can be viewed from the perspective of religion, social, education, economy and society, so that the existence of this culture is not one of the parties on the one hand. and benefit the other side. The most appropriate method used is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative descriptive method is a research method based on the philosophy of postpositivism which is usually used to examine natural objective conditions in which the researcher acts as a key instrument. And Research Results A form of literacy activity has been carried out in the house of one of the residents. The point is to socialize and revitalize the literacy tradition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di sekolah SMA Swasta Imelda Medan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis Multimodal terhadap kemampuan menulis pada siswa kelas XI SMA Swasta Imelda Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen dengan desain . Populasi penelitian ini siswa kelas XI berjumlah 60 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu Teknik Random sampling dengan menentukan satu kelas, satu kelas siswanya dipilih sebanyak 30 siswa secara acak dari dua kelas di kelas XI . Teknik analisis data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis. Setelah dilakukan analisis data penelitian pada pretest dan posttest maka nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh pada saat pretest sebelum menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis multimodal (57,33) dengan standar deviasi (11,03) dan nilai rata-rata pada saat posttest dengan menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis multimodal ( 89.00) dengan standar deviasi (8,86) . Hasil uji data pretest dan posttest menyatakan sampel berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis penelitian dilakukan uji ―t‖ pada taraf signifikan a= 0,05 diproleh Thitung > Ttabel ( 0.0911 > 0.161). Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis multimodal berpengaruh signifikan pada kemampuan menulis naskah drama.

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to improve the quality of learning at target partner schools, namely UPT SD Negeri 033922 Paropo and UPT SD Negeri 030344 Paropo through learning technology adaptation training activities for teachers. This training needs to be carried out because of the digital literacy gap that occurs among elementary school teachers. In the current digital era, elementary school teachers are required to improve their ability to master information technology. The existence of digital literacy can be a motivation for teachers to be technologically literate and an effort to improve students and learning. Teachers as the front guard play an important role in the implementation of learning and can influence the results of achieving learning objectives. Teachers who have good digital literacy can manage learning more effectively. For this reason, this community service program provides training in the use of learning technology applications for elementary school teachers. Activities include training and practice. The material discussed is compiling teaching materials using the Genially application, compiling questions or quizzes and educational games. The results of this community service activity show that there has been an increase in knowledge and an increase in the ability of elementary school teachers to use learning applications. Overall, this community service activity received a positive response from teachers at SD Negeri 033922 Paropo and SD Negeri 030344 Paropo

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat oleh Mahasiswa merupakan pendampingan dan pelayanan mahasiswa untuk peningkatan dan pemberdayaan Masyarakat dalam menerapkan aplikasi, desain, teknologi atau perubahan sosial kearah yang lebih baik. Penerapkan aplikasi, desain, teknologi atau perubahan sosial kearah yang lebih baik. Khususnya di Desa Pagar Jati Kecamatan Lubuk Pakam, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Pengabdian massyarakat bukan hanya tentang memberi pelajaran kepada masyarakat, melainkan tentang memberdayakan  sebuah proses pencarian solusi atas masalah yang dihadapi bersama. Mahasiswa melakukan pendampingan terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat dalam menghadapi masalah sosial yang mereka hadapi. Hasil pengabdian kepada masyakarat dijabarkan sebagai berikut mengajarkan anak paud di belakang kantor kepala desa pagar jati sebanyak 3x pertemuan dapat membantu meningkatkan minat baca anak.

Abstract

The imaginative learning model is a learning model that invites students to express all their ideas, opinions, imagination or imagination into written form. Writing short stories is very important in student learning in class IX using the Imaginative learning model. It is hoped that the imaginative learning model can be used as fully as possible in developing students' interest in learning, especially in making short stories and making students active and creative in class by maximizing the empowerment of their minds. This research uses quantitative experimental methods, this method seeks to collect and interpret data in a precise, measurable, reasonable and systematic manner. The results of research that has been carried out on learning to write short story texts using an imaginative learning model, which occurs in the learning process makes it easier for students to understand the material and student learning outcomes increase. The reason is that students imagine more and express their ideas so that the learning they do attracts students' attention and influences students' interest in learning and students give each other opinions obtained from each other's observations and learning is more active. Apart from that, students are also supported by the motivation provided by the teacher. This can be proven from the results of hypothesis testing and data analysis that has been carried out to obtain tcount ttable.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk Mengetahui Pengaruh Penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Picture Mapping (Picture and Picture dan Mind Mapping) Terhadap Kemampuan menulis Teks Narasi Siswa Kelas VII SMP Swasta Trisakti Lubuk Pakam. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Kuantitatif Eksperimen dengan desain penelitian One grup Pretest dan Posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII dengan jumlah siswa 30 orang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji Normalitas, uji Homogenitas dan uji Hipotesis.Setelah dilakukan penelitian untuk eksperimen pretest dan posttest menggunakan model pembelajaran picture mapping (picture and picture dan mind mapping), diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest yaitu 50,19 dan kelas Posttest yaitu 73,77. Hasil uji prasyarat data prettest dan posttest menyatakan sampel terdistribusi Normal dan Homogen. Dari hasil pengujian hipotesis dalam penelitian ini dilakukan uji “t” pada taraf signifikan 5% dengan df =N-1, df yaitu 30 -1 = 29. Dari df 29 diperoleh taraf signifikan 5% = 1,67155 Ttebel Hasil perhitungan yang dilakukan dapat diketahui bahwa Thitung Ttabel =6,75 1,67. Maka hipotesis nihil (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis (Ha) diterima. Dengan demikian,dapat dinyatakan kemampuan menulis teks eksplanasi berpengaruh menggunakan model pembelajaran picture mapping (picture and picture dan mind mapping).
