Design: This study is a quantitative study using the queasy-experimental two group pre-posttest design. Methods: The intervention in the form of internet-based education was offered to respondents in 5 sessions (45 minutes each meeting) in 3 weeks in the form of discussions utilizing power points and applications regarding COVID-19 prevention. the respondents are those who meet the inclusion criteria during the study: age over 18 years old, able to communicate well, not have visual and hearing impairment, can read and write, willing to be involved in research, and have access to android gadgets. Results: The number of samples in this study were 150 respondents consisting of 84 respondents (56.4) male and 66 respondents (44.0) female. Of these 150 respondents, 75 respondents were in the intervention group and 75 respondents were in the control group. COVID prevention knowledge before and after the internet-based education intervention increased significantly from 2.02 (SD=1.25) 2 to 3.45 (SD=1.31) with a t-value of 6.22 and a p-value of 0.000. In the scores of COVID-19 prevention practice, it was found that the intervention group data showed a significant Increased from 2.57 (SD = 0.98) to 3.13 (SD = 2.34) with a p-value of 0.000. Abstract

This article develops a vibration monitoring system on the machine using the RS-WZ3 sensor, which is based on MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) technology. The RS-WZ3 sensor can measure vibrations on three axes (X, Y, and Z), as well as the surface temperature of the motor. The MAX485 module and the ESP32 microcontroller transform the vibration data from the sensor into a digital signal, subsequently displaying it on a web interface accessible remotely in real time. Sensor calibration is carried out by comparing the measurement results of the RS-WZ3 sensor with those of the GM63A vibration meter, which shows good accuracy with an average error of 2.01%. Testing of this system shows that the RS-WZ3 sensor is effective in measuring and monitoring machine vibrations in real time, enabling more efficient predictive maintenance and reducing maintenance costs.

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to examine in depth the process of examining marriage guardian administrative data and the proactive role of the Religious Affairs Office of West Medan Sub-district in preventing unauthorized guardianship. This study combines normative and empirical research methods. Subsequently, the collected data were analyzed qualitatively to describe the problem and address the research purposes. The results show that the Religious Affairs Office of West Medan Sub-district has played a central role in ensuring the legitimacy of marriage guardians through a careful and thorough data examination process and proactive efforts in providing education and outreach to the community. Islamic legal principles, such as amar ma’ruf nahi munkar (enjoining good and forbidding evil), al-’adl (justice), hifz al-nasl (preservation of lineage), maslahah (public interest), and hisbah (accountability), serve as the philosophical and ethical foundations guiding the KUA’s role in maintaining the validity of marriages and protecting the rights of all parties involved. Nevertheless, challenges such as public ignorance, data manipulation, and administrative discrepancies require the KUA to continuously improve the capacity and professionalism of its officers, enhance the data verification system, and strengthen cross-agency coordination. Furthermore, the community must be continuously encouraged to understand the importance of legitimate guardianship and the legal consequences of unauthorized guardianship through intensive and relevant education and outreach programs. Thus, it is hoped that the KUA’s role in preventing unauthorized guardianship can be optimized, creating a more law-abiding and dignified society that upholds noble religious values in every aspect of life, including in marriage, which is the main foundation for building a sakinah, mawaddah, and warahmah (tranquil, loving, and compassionate) family.

Abstract

This research aimed to examine the practice of postponing inheritance distribution for Minangkabau migrant inheritors from Islamic law’s perspective and identify the contributing factors. The research employed a mixed-methods approach, combining field research and normative legal analysis. Subsequently, the collected data were analyzed qualitatively to describe the problem and address the research purposes. The results showed that postponing inheritance distribution contradicts the principles of Islamic law, which mandates that the division be carried out promptly after the testator’s death using fara’id. This delay is influenced by economic factors, customary practices that grant women a dominant role in inheritance and prioritize the preservation of high-level heirloom treasures, and the distance separating migrant inheritors from their hometowns. Nevertheless, some scholars permit postponement if it is based on considerations of family welfare, while others reject it by referring to the ijbari principle. Therefore, it is recommended that the government, Islamic scholars, Minangkabau indigenous people, and Muslim migrant inheritors enhance their understanding and awareness of Islamic inheritance law and play an active role in preventing and resolving the issue of postponed inheritance distribution, as preventing inheritors from their inheritance rights is unlawful (haram) and a major sin.

Abstract

This research discusses the causes of vacancies in regional head positions by deputy regional heads in Indonesia and the urgency of filling them, especially if the remaining term of office is more than 18 months. Using descriptive qualitative methods and Law Number 10 of 2016 as primary legal material, the research found that legal uncertainty regarding the time limit for filling this position often hampers the replacement process. In regional government theory, the positions of regional heads and their deputies are very important and inseparable, considering their roles in regional management and leadership. From Dusturiyah's siyasah review, the replacement of regional heads by their deputies is not only permitted but also mandatory, considering that both of them were elected together with the same vision and mission. The role of the deputy regional head is important for the benefit of the people, namely in providing considerations, input and carrying out the duties of the regional head, as well as the need to immediately fill this vacancy and emphasize the need for legal clarity to immediately fill the position.

Abstract

The use of Tilang Elektronik is expected to be effective in achieving the goal of prosecuting traffic violations, even though there is an obstacle, namely that people in Indonesia do not understand the technical aspects. Based on the problems discussed in this journal, the formulation of the problems that will be raised from this research include: 1.) How is the Law Implemented Regarding Electronic Ticketing in Medan City? 2.) How is Fiqh Siayasah's review of electronic e-tickets? Meanwhile the research method used is an empirical research method which is influenced by the doctrine of legal sociology (sociology of law) and sociological legal science (sociological jurisprudence). Empirical research is carried out on research on facts that occur in the field, therefore researchers carry out data collection techniques. In order for the implementation of the electronic ticketing law to work, it is necessary to regulate the law with regulations issued by authorized officials, so that these regulations have a legal dimension that guarantees certainty that the law functions as a regulation that must be obeyed. Based on the description above regarding Siyasah syar'iyah, Electronic Ticketing is included in one of the laws and regulations that can guide humanity to benefit. In this case, these regulations were created to regulate and manage human life in protecting the safety of motorbike users who are used for the benefit of people who use transportation.
