Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of digital children’s literature with artificial intelligence (AI)-based illustrations on the material “Being Careful Everywhere” for elementary school students. The material “Being Careful Everywhere” discusses how to protect oneself from danger and accidents in various places such as home, school, streets, or other public areas. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a direct observation approach to classroom learning activities. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed descriptively to illustrate students’ responses and the effectiveness of the media used. The results show that digital children’s literature with AI-generated illustrations successfully captures students’ attention, enhances comprehension of the story content, and fosters the character value of caution in daily life. Moreover, the use of this interactive digital medium encourages active student engagement during the learning process. Thus, the implementation of AI-based digital children’s literature can serve as an innovative alternative in elementary language learning that emphasizes digital literacy and character education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the steps involved in developing an easy-to-digest book based on the concept of Food Security as an effort to prevent stunting and improve early literacy skills among first-grade elementary school students. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects included two validators, three teachers, and ninety first-grade students from SD Negeri Bahagia 06, Bekasi City, who were purposively selected based on educational reports indicating low literacy levels and limited knowledge of nutrition and health. The findings revealed that the easy-to-digest book based on Food Security, developed through stories, engaging illustrations, and interactive reading activities, effectively assisted teachers in teaching early literacy. The book was rated as practical, easy to understand, and relevant to students’ learning needs, receiving an average validation score of 89% categorized as “very good.” Furthermore, the trial implementation showed an increase in students’ reading interest and their understanding of the importance of balanced nutrition and healthy eating habits. Overall, the development of this book successfully integrates literacy, health, and character-building elements as a strategic effort to prevent stunting from an early age.

Abstract

Sexual violence against elementary school children has severe impacts on psychological, social, and educational aspects. This study explores caregivers’ understanding of Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) principles, identifies trauma factors, and examines perceptions of TIC-based interventions in elementary schools. A qualitative case study approach was applied through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, analyzed thematically with NVivo 12. The findings show that teachers and principals emphasize physical safety, psychologists highlight emotional support and continuity, the Child Protection Agency (KPAD) stresses transparency and cross-sector collaboration, while parents focus on home-based support. Trauma is understood as the interaction between traumatic experiences, children’s emotional symptoms, and lack of environmental support. Perceptions of intervention emphasize collaborative, sustainable, and participatory approaches. In conclusion, TIC can serve as a strategic framework for preventing and addressing child trauma and is recommended to be integrated into child-friendly school policies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini didasarkan atas dasar urgensi internalisasi nilai-nilai ecopreneurship dalam seluruh interverensi pendidikan secara kreatif. Salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat dipilih dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai ecopreneurship pada diri siswa adalah pembelajaran menulis sastra. Design thinking menjadikan prinsip kemanusiaan sebagai landasan dalam setiap sintaknya dan hal ini sejalan dengan hakikat pembelajaran sastra sebagai bentuk mediumisasi upaya memanusikan manusia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh design thinking berbasis ecopreneurship terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif mahasiswa PGSD dalam menulis sastra anak. Hal ini dikarenakan pentingnya mahasiswa PGSD sebagai calon guru memiliki kreativitas dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai ecoprenurship pada siswanya di masa depan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan sempel penelitian sebanyak 60 mahasiswa Jurusan PGSD Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar pada mahasiswa pendekatan design thinking berbasis ecopreneurship lebih baik daripada mahasiswa yang belajar menggunakan pendekatan konvensional dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi anak. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi sarana edukasi bagi mahasiswa PGSD dalam mengenalkan model design thinking berbasis ecopreneurship sebagai model pembelajaran yang inovatif dan futuristik.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide an overview of the process of improving teacher competence in compiling teaching materials based on Pancasila student profiles in Elementary Schools. This study uses a quasi-experimental method of one group pre-test post-test design which includes 3 steps, namely: pre-test, treatment, and post-test by utilizing the implementation of the scaffolding program as a treatment to be carried out. The scaffolding program in this study has 3 stages, namely; (1) Modeling, (2) Provision of Materials and (3) Final Stage. This study was conducted on 31 teachers from levels I-IV at SDN Harapan Baru III, Bekasi City, located at Jl. Raya Perjuangan No. 48, RT.002 / RW.003, Harapan Baru, Kec. Bekasi Utara, Bekasi City, West Java 17123. The rationale for selecting this school is based on the condition of teacher literacy competence in compiling teaching materials that need to be improved. The results of this study are seen based on a comparison of the average results of the pre-test and post-test which obtained a sig value of 0.000 and less than 0.05 which proves that this study is considered successful in improving teacher literacy competency so that it can make it easier for teachers to prepare appropriate teaching materials, of course teaching materials based on the Pancasila Student Profile.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah upaya kongkret untuk meningkatkan pengembangan program literasi dini sebagai upaya mendukung Pemerintah Indonesia dalam menggalakan Gerakan Literasi Nasional (GLN). PKM ini secara eksplisit relevan dengan tujuan SGDS Tahun 2024 pada poin 6.1 terkait upaya memberikan penguatan pengajaran berfokus pada kemampuan literasi di semua jenjang dan mendukung RJPMD Kota Bekasi. Human security sebagai basis utama dalam program pendampingan penyusunan buku ramah cerna menjadi diferensiasi yang mendukung Visi Universitas Bhayangkara Jakarta Raya sebagai satu-satunya kampus yang menjunjung nilai sekuriti dalam aktivitas Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. Oleh karena itu, PKM ini diharapkan mampu menghasilkan produk inovatif yang mengedepankan nilai-nilai sekuriti dan dapat dimanfaatkan oleh Siswa Sekolah Dasar di Indonesia. Pengabdian ini merupakan tindak lanjut kerja sama antara Prodi PGSD FIP Ubhara Jaya dan SDN Harapan Baru III Kota Bekasi. Sekolah ini merupakan representasi SD penyelenggara pendidikan ramah anak namun terdapat kondisi anomali terkait kondisi perpustakaan yang tidak representatif dan ketersediaan buku ramah cerna yang sangat terbatas. Berdasarkan kondisi faktual di lapangan diketahui bahwa 98% guru sebagai sasaran mitra tidak mengetahui konsep buku ramah cerna, sehingga PKM ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada 30 guru di sekolah tersebut untuk menyusun buku ramah cerna berbasis human security didasarkan pada kebijakan BSKAP No 30 Tahun 2022 Tentang Pedoman Perjenjangan Buku

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Jakasampurna IV dan SDN Bahagia 06 Kota Bekasi dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan kondisi minat baca sastra anak pada siswa kelas IV. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan angket skala Guttman. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 60 siswa kelas IV dari kedua sekolah tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat baca sastra anak masih tergolong rendah, dengan 56,7% berada pada kategori rendah, 20% sedang, dan hanya 23,3% tinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa belum menjadikan membaca sastra anak sebagai aktivitas yang menyenangkan, melainkan masih dipandang sebagai kewajiban akademik. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya peningkatan minat baca melalui penyediaan bahan bacaan sastra anak yang lebih inovatif, menarik, serta mudah diakses, termasuk pemanfaatan media digital berbasis aplikasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Deep Learning-based Augmented Reality learning media on learning outcomes in the material of My Tribe's Wealth based on the findings of previous researchers, namely obtained from how much improvement in student learning outcomes after using Augmented Reality learning media. This study uses a literature study method by collecting 20 journals from DOAJ, Sinta, Index Copernicus, Google Scholar that are relevant and then used as a literature review, identification is done by reading, analyzing, categorizing, classifying and describing. The results of the study obtained from the analysis of the data found indicate that student learning outcomes have increased significantly after the application of Deep Learning-based Augmented Reality media. This can be seen from several opinions that support that Augmented Reality Media has an effect on improving student learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that Augmented Reality learning media can improve the learning outcomes of Elementary School students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using Digital Books Category B2 through the Deep Learning Approach in improving reading comprehension skills of second-grade elementary school students. The main issue raised is the gap between technical reading skills (decoding) and understanding of deep meaning during the literacy transition phase. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the study involved 30 second-grade students in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and assessment of learning outcomes regarding the use of the digital media "Kotak Petualang". Data analysis was carried out in a circular manner including data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed a collective success rate of 90%, with details of 25 students (83.3%) in the high category, 2 students (6.7%) in the medium category, and 3 students (10.0%) in the low category. The expressive read-aloud strategy and interactive features of digital books proved effective as scaffolding for students in constructing both literal and reflective understanding. Although effective in increasing interest and engagement, students in the low category still require intensive guidance to achieve independent critical thinking skills. In conclusion, the synergy of Digital Books B2 and Deep Learning can transform literacy learning to be more immersive and meaningful. This integration is a strategic solution to reduce students' cognitive barriers in the digital age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of story problems that focus on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in mathematics learning using the Deep Learning approach in class III of SDN Kebalen 01. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was carried out through observation and interviews with teachers and students, then the data was analyzed using a descriptive interpretive method. The results of the study indicate that teachers have implemented the principles of Deep Learning (mindful, meaningful, joyful) and technology in a contextual way, while inserting HOTS-characterized story problems at levels C4 to C6 that are appropriate to the stage of students' cognitive development. These problems have proven effective in encouraging students' ability to analyze, evaluate, and create in solving mathematical problems. This study shows that the combination of the Deep Learning approach and story problems included in the HOTS category is a powerful strategy for building deeper conceptual understanding and improving students' critical thinking skills.
