Abstract

P2MW is very suitable in achieving the vision of Amikom University Purwokerto. The number of P2MW proposals submitted in 2023 to the student affairs section still has not met the target set at 50 proposals. Based on the number of proposals funded in 2023, there are 7 proposals, this still does not meet the target set by the student affairs department, amounting to more than 10 funded proposals. This target is still far from student expectations. In order for a proposal to be funded by the Ministry, the proposal needs to comply with existing guidelines such as writing templates, business objectives, potential consumers, products, resources, marketing and finance. The Student Affairs Department of Amikom University Purwokerto also has a target that in 2024 there will be proposals funded up to the national KMI EXPO with 3 teams, because KMI EXPO is a prestigious event at the national level. The methods used are lectures, questions and answers, pitching proposals and direct practice. The result of outreach and training is an increase in the number of proposals that pass the internal campus stage.

Abstract

Abstract: The PPKS task force at Universitas Amikom Purwokerto has been established and is actively implementing various programs. However, complaints regarding cases of sexual violence are currently managed through WhatsApp, with limited guidance on the complaint procedures. As a result, many students are unaware of the PPKS task force or how to report incidents, creating obstacles for both the task force in identifying cases and for students seeking to file complaints. This study aims to provide students with an effective and accessible way to report incidents of sexual violence on campus. To develop the complaint information system, the Scrum methodology was used, involving team collaboration to easily adapt to changes throughout the development process. The resulting complaint information system for the prevention and handling of sexual violence has been successfully implemented and tested with students at Universitas Amikom Purwokerto. This system enables students to submit complaints seamlessly online. Testing results indicate that the system functions as intended and meets the expected outcomes. Abstract

According to WHO, the primary causes of stunting in children under five years old include infections, insufficient infant and child feeding practises, and poor maternal health and nutrition. This study aimed to investigate the use of Technology as a health promotion strategy for stunting knowledge in nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study used an analytic study using a quasi-experimental study. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The sample in this study was 22 respondents in health university students, with a total population of 45 respondents. The findings revealed that the use of animation-based technology in health promotion can help nursing science students at the Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery of Megarezky University learn more about stunting, including how to provide children with enough nutrition and how to parent stunted children. Animation-based Technology makes information easier to understand and allows for repetition; it has an impact on nursing students' understanding of stunting and how to promote health effectively.

Abstract

Introduction: Hypertension remains one of the most prevalent public health issues globally, demanding not only curative but also preventive and promotive strategies. Community-based health promotion programs have emerged as a vital approach to increasing awareness, literacy, and behavioral change to prevent hypertension. Methods: This study employed a qualitative method through a systematic literature review of national and international publications from 2020 to 2025. The selected sources were analyzed thematically to identify social dynamics, intervention models, and determinants of program success. Data analysis involved reduction, display, and interpretation to construct a conceptual model explaining how community-based promotion enhances prevention literacy. Results: The findings indicate that the effectiveness of community-based programs depends on active participation, leadership, resource availability, and integration with primary health services. Empowerment-based education improved knowledge, modified risky behavior, and strengthened cooperation between communities and health workers. The use of digital technologies, such as mobile health applications and social media, expands educational outreach and engagement. Conclusion: Community-based health promotion is a transformative strategy for building awareness, empowerment, and self-reliance in hypertension prevention. Cross-sector collaboration and technology-driven innovation are essential to achieving sustainable outcomes. It is recommended that policymakers and health practitioners strengthen digital literacy, allocate continuous funding, and institutionalize participatory community programs to ensure long-term impact.

Abstract

Diarrhea remains a public health problem in the Kaledupa Community Health Center working area, affecting 35.7% of the population. There have been fluctuations in the incidence of diarrhea from year to year. In 2021, there were 2,774 cases of diarrhea in Wakatobi District. One of the factors contributing to the high incidence of diarrhea is poor hand washing with soap (HWS/CTPS). This study aims to analyze the relationship between HWS practices and the incidence of diarrhea before and after health education interventions. This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The population consists of the entire community in the Kaledupa Community Health Center working area, totaling 5,865 people, with a sample of 99 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire. The post-test also found a significant relationship. Respondents with good HWS practices experienced diarrhea less frequently than respondents with poor HWS practices. It was concluded that health education interventions using pamphlets were effective in increasing community knowledge about HWS practices and as an effort to reduce the incidence of diarrhea. It is recommended that the Kaledupa Community Health Center continue to strengthen health promotion programs such as counseling and demonstrations related to CTPS, provide CTPS facilities and infrastructure, and involve families and the community in daily CTPS practices.

Abstract

Urban parks are one of the important public spaces that function as facilities for social interaction, recreation, and support for urban environmental quality. The quality of urban parks needs to be evaluated periodically to ensure that they meet users’ needs and comfort. This study aims to analyze the quality of Majene City Park as a public space based on users’ perceptions. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 105 park users and supported by field observations, while secondary data were obtained through a literature review. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics with univariate analysis techniques to determine park quality categories based on the variables of user services, activity level, meaningfulness, and accessibility. The results indicate that the overall quality of Majene City Park based on users’ perceptions falls into the fair category, with an average score of 49.78%. Several aspects were rated as good, including seating comfort, vegetation condition, air circulation quality, and accessibility to the park. However, several elements received low ratings, particularly park lighting quality, cleanliness of public toilets, availability of trash bins, diversity of facilities, and clarity of directional signage. These findings suggest that although Majene City Park functions as a public space, improvements in facility quality, cleanliness, safety, and area management are still necessary. In conclusion, optimizing the quality of Majene City Park requires comprehensive improvements through physical arrangement, enhancement of supporting facilities, strengthening of security, and community involvement to ensure that the park functions optimally as a comfortable, safe, and sustainable public space.

Abstract

The development of the Internet of Things (IoT) has transformed smart transportation systems and modern fleet management, with web technology serving as the integration platform connecting IoT devices, management systems, and users. This systematic research examines the implementation of web technology for real-time vehicle monitoring, machine learning-based route optimization, predictive maintenance, and analytics dashboards. The system architecture involves four layers: IoT (vehicle sensors), communication (MQTT, REST API, WebSocket), cloud computing (big data processing), and presentation (Progressive Web Apps, React/Vue.js). The system integrates GPS data, telemetry, fuel consumption, driving behavior, and traffic conditions for operational optimization. Research findings show operational efficiency improvements of 30-40%, maintenance cost reduction of 25%, fuel consumption decrease of 15-20%, and incident rate reduction of 35%. Challenges include data security, system interoperability, infrastructure scalability, protocol standardization, and legacy system integration. This research provides reference architecture, technology evaluation framework, best practices, and digital transformation roadmap for various organizational scales and fleet types.
