Abstract

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in education, especially in improving student creativity, is the focus of this study. The training provided to students of SMPN 17 Kota Bengkulu showed that AI can be an effective tool to support creative learning processes. However, this training also identified a digital divide among students, especially related to the use of email. The results of this training provide important implications for the development of educational curricula that integrate AI technology and improve students' digital literacy. This training is also useful for exploring the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) in improving the creativity of students of SMPN 17 Kota Bengkulu. Through training that focuses on tools such as Bing, Suno, and Remaker, students are trained to produce various types of creative content. The results of the training show that students are enthusiastic and able to utilize the artificial intelligence program. In the training, obstacles were found, namely the lack of student understanding regarding the use of email as an account to access AI applications. This training concluded that the importance of integrating AI learning in schools and the need to improve students' digital literacy.

Abstract

This research aims to implementation the symetric probability algorithm in building an expert system to diagnose diseases due by nutritional disorders. Disturbances in nutritional balance can cause a person's performance in activities to be not optimal and can even cause diseases that will interfere with daily routines. The lack of knowledge and concern for nutritional balance in the body is the cause of the emergence of health problems, in addition to the difficulty of access to consult a doctor also causes people to be less concerned about nutritional balance disorders. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to build an expert system to help someone diagnose diseases due to nutritional disorders and solutions that can be done online so that it is expected to facilitate users. The implementation of symetric probability used in this expert system can provide diagnoses of nutritional disorders expressed as a percentage to measure the certainty value of a hypothesis against a fact of disease due to nutritional disorders experienced by adults. This expert system was built using PHP programming language and MySQL database. This expert system can be used as a tool that makes it easier for people to diagnose early symptoms of diseases due to nutritional disorders because it can be accessed online.

Abstract

BerbaExcessive sugar consumption among adolescents poses a significant public health concern due to its association with obesity, diabetes, and other metabolic disorders. This Community Service Program (PKM) aimed to enhance nutritional literacy and raise awareness among teenagers regarding the dangers of excessive sugar intake through the use of communicative and engaging visual media. The target participants were students of SMA 4 Kota Bengkulu, with face-to-face education, interactive discussions, and distribution of visual media such as booklets and educational videos. The program was a cross-disciplinary collaboration involving the Departments of Communication, Nursing, and Computer Science at Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Results indicated improved student understanding of sugar-related health risks, enhanced ability to read nutrition labels, and more critical attitudes in choosing healthier foods. The evaluation suggests integrating nutrition literacy into school curricula and empowering students as change agents. This program offers a positive contribution toward fostering a nutritionally aware and health-conscious younger generation.hasa Inggris

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Religious Affairs Number 31 of 2020 on Islamic boarding school education in character development at Darussalam Islamic Boarding School, Bengkulu City. This research used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, consisting of 4 individuals. The analysis is based on Van Meter and Van Horn’s implementation theory which includes six indicators: policy standards and objectives, resources, inter-organizational communication, characteristics of implementers, disposition, and economic, social, and political conditions. The findings indicate that policy standards and goals align with the Standard Operating Procedures and target outcomes. Resources including facilities and infrastructure are adequate. Communication among teachers is well-coordinated. Implementers demonstrate competence and discipline in carrying out character development. There is a willingness among implementers to run the program. Economically, the environment supports the character development process. However, the lack of political support and the location of the school on a major road are social obstacles to character development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image on the decision to use Maxim's services in Bengkulu City. A quantitative survey method was employed, involving 100 randomly selected Maxim users. The research instrument, in the form of a questionnaire, was tested for validity and reliability. Classical assumption tests confirmed that the data met the requirements of normality, homoscedasticity, and linearity. The simple linear regression analysis showed that brand image had a positive and significant effect on the decision to use Maxim’s services, with a regression coefficient of 0.404 and a significance level of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.247, indicating that brand image accounted for 24.7% of the variance in usage decisions, while the remaining 75.3% was influenced by other factors outside the model. These results suggest that a more favorable brand image leads to a higher likelihood of consumers choosing Maxim's services. Aligned with Brand Equity theory, the findings emphasize the importance of consumer perception in shaping decisions. Practically, it implies that Maxim should continue to strengthen its brand identity, improve service quality, and enhance user experience to maintain and increase customer engagement.

Abstract

The media plays an important role in shaping public opinion through the selection of issues presented and the way they are presented. This research examines how the media, especially the podter program in Bengkulu Ekspress, sets the agenda through various platforms and interactions with the public. Based on interviews with key informants and principal informants, the findings show that the media not only reflects reality, but also shapes it by selecting issues that are relevant and interesting to the public. Issues that are often raised include politics, business, tourism and local achievements, with a focus on things that are viral or have urgency for society. Podter programs broadcast live via platforms such as Facebook and YouTube allow direct interaction between the source and the audience, creating space for public opinion to influence the themes raised. Setting this agenda also involves two levels: first, determining the issue to be highlighted, and second, the specific attributes of the issue that shape the public's assessment of the importance of the issue. The results of this research show that the media in Bengkulu Ekspress plays a role as social control by providing a platform for the public to interact, provide responses, and obtain information that is educational, informative, and promotional. The podter program is expected not only to convey information but also as a tool to influence and shape public opinion.

Abstract

The development of increasingly sophisticated communication technology has given birth to social media. One of the social media applications that is currently trending in Indonesia is TikTok. The presence of TikTok social media is used for individual activities to compete in terms of introducing or the public knows it as personal branding. One of the content creators who has utilized the presence of TikTok social media for personal branding activities is Dilla Jaidi. Dilla Jaidi is known as a beauty content creator on TikTok who specializes in make-up and skincare. This study aims to describe the personal branding carried out by Dilla Jaidi through TikTok social media @dillajaidi.This study uses a qualitative descriptive content analysis approach. The analysis was carried out using Peter Montoya's personal branding aspects. The data collection techniques used were observation and documentation. And the data analysis techniques used were data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that Dilla Jaidi's personal branding form through TikTok social media @dillajaidi, she prioritized how she was seen as a beauty content creator. In accordance with the eight concepts of personal branding theory by Peter Montoya, TikTok social media @dillajaidi shows Dilla Jaidi as an expert as a beauty content creator, often also providing solutions according to the audience's needs. Dilla Jaidi displays a cheerful, warm figure and also a multi-talented beauty mentor. Beauty content as Dilla Jaidi's characteristic is not possessed by other beauty content creators. Dilla Jaidi consistently uploads content on make-up and skincare tips and tricks. The content shared by Dilla Jaidi on her TikTok social media is relevant to her daily life. The TikTok account @dillajaidi in producing content always has a positive influence on the audience.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of group communication in enhancing the cohesiveness of the Futsal Valupi Dehasen Bengkulu team. Established in 2023, this university-based futsal team has achieved outstanding performance in various local, regional, and national tournaments. Behind these accomplishments lies a set of internal dynamics, particularly the challenge of maintaining unity among team members with diverse backgrounds and personalities. In this context, group communication plays a crucial role in fostering synergy and effective teamwork, both through verbal and non-verbal means. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method using a case study approach. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving coaches and players. The study is grounded in Aubrey Fisher’s task group communication theory, which outlines four key stages of group communication: orientation, conflict, emergence, and reinforcement. The findings reveal that in the orientation stage, a familial approach and informal communication are key to building trust and aligning team vision. The conflict stage naturally arises from differing perspectives but is constructively managed through open dialogue, routine evaluations, and strong leadership from the coach and team captain. During the emergence stage, players begin to demonstrate emotional maturity, identify shared values, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the team. In the reinforcement stage, communication becomes more open, supportive, and trust-based, which plays a significant role in maintaining teamwork and team spirit. Overall, this study highlights that effective and dynamic group communication is central to forming a solid, harmonious, and competitive futsal team. The results are expected to contribute both theoretically and practically to the development of team management strategies in sports, particularly in designing communication models that support overall team performance

Abstract

Desa Bengkel Kecamatan Bengkel  Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai merupakan daerah pedesaan yang banyak menghadapi masalah kesehatan seperti stroke, nyeri punggung bawah, gangguan keseimbangan dan masalah kesehatan lainnya, hal ini terjadi karena keterbatasan akses ke pelayanan kesehatan salah satunya akses fisioterapi. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat, pencegahan cedera dan penyakit, rehabilitasi dan pemulihan fisik, peningkatan akses terhadap pelayanan fisioterapi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan ceramah dan pemberian pelayanan serta penanganan fisioterapi. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pemberian  fisioterapi dengan modalitas infrared dan penyuluhan kesehatan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kesehatan masyarakat Desa Bengkel sebesar 75%, dan terdapat 25% yang tidak mengalami perubahan pengetahuan. Pemberian infrared bermanfaat mengurangi nyeri, meningkatkan sirkulasi darah ke seluruh tubuh dan meningkatkan kesehatan pada kulit, memproduksi kolagen serta memberikan efek relaksasi pada tubuh. Kesimpulan: pemberian pelayanan fisioterapi dengan modalitas infrared berhasil meningkatkan kesehatan masyarakat Desa Bengkel, terdapat perubahan positif dalam kondisi kesehatan masyarakat yang mendapatkan pelayanan fisioterapi, terutama pada masalah muskuloskeletal. Melalui pemberian penyuluhan dan penanganan fisioterapi dengan infrared, diharapkan masyarakat dapat memahami pentingnya peran fisioterapi dalam kesehatan mereka dan memiliki keterampilan untuk merawat diri sendiri secara lebih efektif
