Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Regular Angkatan XXIV Universitas Teuku Umar dilaksanakan di gampong Alue Sundak, Kecamatan Woyla, Kabupaten Aceh Barat dengan fokus pada pengembangan kebun gizi sebagai sarana edukasi dan pemenuhan gizi keluarga. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan, dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan lahan perkarangan untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan rumah tangga sekaligus pencegahan stunting. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang mencakup tahapan observasi, penyuluhan gizi, pelatihan pembuatan kebun gizi, pendampingan, serta evaluasi. Komoditas yang dibudidayakan meliputi bayam, kangkung, sawi, mentimun, kacang panjang, dan singkong. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap pentingnya konsumsi sayur, keterampilan dalam bercocok tanam sederhana, serta keterlibatan aktif ibu rumah tangga dan kader posyandu dalam pengelolaan kebun gizi. Program ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada perubahan perilaku konsumsi yang lebih sehat, tetapi juga berpotensi menjadi strategi berkelanjutan dalam memperkuat ketahanan pangan dan mencegah stunting di tingkat desa.

Abstract

Public speaking merupakan kemampuan berbicara yang menjadi tuntutan dalam hidup manusia.Public speaking juga berguna bagi istansi dalam forum akademik, sosial, pemerintahan,dan lain sebagainya. Melalui kegiatan public speaking di TPQ Darul Ilmi Desa Telaga Meuku Dua ini,penulis melakukan penelitian dengan pendekatan kualitatif pelatihan public speaking pidato Bahasa Indonesia santri di TPQ tersebut.Tujuannya adalah agar santri tersebut mampu mengekspresikan bahasa serta melatih para santri agar lancar berbicara ketika mengikuti kegiatan perlombaan FASI Kabupaten.Dalam penelitian tersebut hasil yang didapat sesuai yang diharapkan dan di luar ekspetasi penulis,sebab kontribusi serta rasa penasaran  para santri tersebut sangat besar dan hal inipun didukung oleh mudarris dan wali santri di sana atas pelatihan ini.Sehingga pelatihan yang dilakukan membuahkan hasil yang cukup memuaskan ,dan diharapkan bisa menjadi modal para santri untuk bisa lebih baik lagi dari sebelumnya.

Abstract

Sunan Ampel Dampit through the use of Flipa Clip media. The research began with observations of the challenges students face in expressing themselves verbally, often due to lack of confidence and fear of speaking in public. From the preliminary study results, it was found that students showed significant improvement after implementing Flipa Clip media in the learning process. This research used the Collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) method involving observation, interviews, and tests to collect data. The results showed that the use of Flipa Clip media increased motivation and participation of students in learning English, especially in speaking. Students became more creative and motivated to communicate ideas in English. From observations and tests, it was found that students using Flipa Clip media showed an average score increase from 75 to 88, indicating that they met the success criteria set by the researcher. This research provides practical contributions to educators and students in improving the quality of English language learning, particularly in speaking. The findings also suggest that the use of interactive media like Flipa Clip can be an effective strategy to overcome confidence issues and fear of public speaking. This research is expected to serve as a reference for future studies focusing on language development through multimedia approaches.

Abstract

The okra fruit (A esculentus fructus) is renowned for its significant antioxidant properties, attributed to its rich content of bioactive compounds. Despite its high antioxidant activity, which has been extensively documented, its potential as a component in cosmetic formulations particularly lip balm preparation remains underutilized. This study seeks to address this gap by incorporating okra fruit extract into lip balm formulations and evaluating the resulting physical and functional attributes. Lip balm formulations were developed with three varying concentrations of Ethanol okra fruit extract: F1 (1%), F2 (3%), and F3 (5%). A series of comprehensive evaluations were conducted to assess the physical stability and performance of the lip balms, including organoleptic properties, homogeneity, pH, melting point, spreadability, and overall stability. Stability was monitored over a 28-day period at room temperature to simulate typical storage conditions. The antioxidant efficacy of the okra extract was quantified using the DPPH (1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl) assay, which yielded an IC50 value of 10.06 µg/ml, reflecting its potent free radical scavenging capacity. In comparison, the lip balm formulations demonstrated higher IC50 values, with Formulation I (FI) at 46.35 µg/ml, Formulation II (FII) at 40 µg/ml, and Formulation III (FIII) at 30.23 µg/ml, indicating a reduction in antioxidant activity in the formulated products compared to the pure extract.. The lip balm formulations exhibited a distinct okra aroma, smooth texture, and uniform color variations ranging from light brown (F1), brown (F2), to dark brown (F3). pH values ranged from 5.40 to 5.81, and melting points were between 49.6°C and 52.9°C, all within the acceptable range as per SNI 16-4769-1998 standards. ANOVA statistical analysis revealed no significant changes (p > 0.05) in melting point and spreadability over time. However, significant differences (p < 0.05) were noted in pH values, with further analysis indicating that formulations F2 and F3 differed significantly from F1 (p < 0.05). These results demonstrate that okra fruit extract not only enhances the antioxidant properties of lip balm but also maintains its stability and functionality, supporting its potential as a valuable ingredient in cosmetic formulations.

Abstract

This study is intended to find out the implementation of the VCR technique in teaching explanatory texts to eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Labuhan Haji in the school year 2021/2022. This study was classroom action research (CAR) which is implemented in four cycles, each cycle consists of four activities, and they are planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of the study was the eleventh grade students of SMAN 1 Labuhan Haji, which consists of 30 students (10 males and 20 females). To collect the data the present researcher used multiple choice test and essay test to get the quantitative data and observation sheets to get the qualitative data. The conclusion of this study is that in each cycle of student completeness there is an increase even though the increase is not very significant, because it does not reach the classical completeness that has been determined previously, namely if KK ≥ 80% means that class XI MIPA 1 students who get a minimum KKM score of 75 have reached 80% or more, means complete learning. With KK (classical completeness) which reached 83.33% in cycle IV, thus answering the previously formulated action hypothesis, namely that the application of the VCR technique can increase the ability of Class XI MIPA 1 Students of SMAN 1 Labuhan Haji in the school year 2021/2022 in explanation text learning.

Abstract

Social humanoids robots are robots designed to interact with people in a manner resembling interaction betweenn humans, with the appearance and manners resembling that of man. This study looking at the use of social humanoids robots from the perspektive of islam and ethics, to ensure that this technology used by way in accordance with religious and moral. The perspektive of islam the use of these robots acceptable for used in the right people, as in the helath sector, education, and public services. Islam teaches that everything is benefecial to mankind and not break acceptable. But is also stressed in creating an image or effigy that imitates life, although robots used for the purpose of education or medical and not treated as living creatures acceptable. It is also vital to keep interaction in islamic culuture and attitude with robot. Make sure that privacy and dignity of the individual are not violated. Ethically the use of social humanoid robots should consider the social impact. Justice and human well being as a whole, this technology should help relieve human work without causing mass unemployment, maintains physical and user data, and don’t overplace human interactions with other human beings. Robot must be designed and programmed to treat humans with respect, not to manipulate emotional or unethical human decisions.

Abstract

Indonesia, sebagai negara kepulauan terbesar di dunia yang terletak di sepanjang Cincin Api Pasifik, sangat rentan terhadap berbagai bencana geologi seperti gempa bumi, tsunami, dan letusan gunung berapi. Salah satu gunung berapi aktif yang terkenal di Indonesia adalah Gunung Bromo, yang menjadi tujuan wisata populer namun juga menyimpan potensi bahaya erupsi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai efektivitas program sosialisasi yang dilakukan oleh Pusat Vulkanologi dan Mitigasi Bencana Geologi (PVMBG) dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dan pelaku wisata di sekitar Gunung Bromo tentang mitigasi bencana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan sosial dengan melibatkan total 70 responden yang terdiri dari pemangku kepentingan dan masyarakat lokal. Program sosialisasi mencakup seminar, lokakarya, dan simulasi kesiapsiagaan bencana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman tentang mitigasi bencana, dengan peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 7.5% di kalangan pemerintah dan 19.45% di kalangan non-pemerintah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sosialisasi yang rutin dan berkelanjutan penting dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana dan meminimalisir risiko bencana di masa depan.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a strategic role in shaping the character and morals of students from an early age, as part of the formation of humans with integrity, faith, and piety. However, major challenges are faced in teaching PAI at the elementary school level. One of the main problems that is often encountered is the low interest of students in learning PAI material. This is caused by various factors, including monotonous teaching methods, minimal use of interesting learning media, and the view that PAI material is less relevant to students' daily lives. As a result, the learning process is often not optimal in achieving the expected learning objectives. Along with the development of technology in the digital era, the opportunity to create more interactive and interesting learning is increasingly wide open. Digital technology, such as learning applications, educational videos, online quizzes, and educational-based games, provide new alternatives in designing learning experiences that are not only interesting, but also relevant to the needs of modern students. The use of this technology allows students to learn in a more personal, fun way, and in accordance with their mindset and habits that are already familiar with digital devices. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital technology in Islamic Religious Education learning at the elementary school level. The main focus is to measure the effectiveness of digital technology in increasing students' interest in learning, as well as identifying supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation. To achieve these objectives, this study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through direct observation in class, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and document analysis related to the implementation of digital technology in Islamic Religious Education learning. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of digital technology has a significant positive impact on students' learning interest. Technology-based learning media not only increases student engagement but also creates a learning experience that is more relevant to the modern era. In addition, this study found that supporting factors, such as the availability of technological devices and student enthusiasm, play an important role in the success of implementing digital technology. On the other hand, obstacles such as lack of teacher training and limited school facilities are challenges that need to be overcome.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Science Technology Society accompanied the caring attitude of imaginative play environment of elementary school students on IPA. This research included ine population were all students of SDN Langsa Lama. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling, in order to obtain class 3A as an experimental group and class 3B as the control group. Data collection techniques use essay teScience Technology Society, observation sheets, as well as their academic papers. Hypothesis testing is done by using test-t. this research concluded that the integration of Science Technology Society accompanied the Effective imaginative play environment caring attitude of elementary school students in science subjects

Abstract

Currently parking is still operated manually, starting from cars queuing when entering the parking lot because parking attendants are still manually inputting vehicles into the system, this will cause the queue of cars to get longer at the parking entrance, especially during rush hours, then parking users are still constrained or have difficulties in finding an empty parking space, they are looking for an empty parking space by surrounding the parking area so it is less efficient and takes a very long time to park the vehicle, and it is not uncommon for parking users to forget to park their vehicle on the floor and how many blocks, this is also a separate problem for parking users because they have to search in a large area. Based on this, researchers feel the need to make an intelligent parking control device based on the Internet of Things (IOT) using an Arduino microcontroller as the controlling brain, then the micro controller will send data to the user's application server, so the user can find out which parking slots are empty and which are filled. then the user can also order the parking space through the application.
