Abstract

A cognitive diagnostic assessment is a process of gathering information to identify students' strengths and weaknesses in cognitive aspects. In the context of teaching personal letter writing in elementary school, a cognitive diagnostic assessment can help teachers understand students' initial comprehension of the structure and elements of personal letters. The purpose of this research is to determine students' abilities in critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving, as well as to assess their readiness for learning. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method to explore how teachers implement, evaluate, and assess the outcomes of cognitive diagnostic assessments in teaching personal letter writing at SD Batanghari. The study reveals that cognitive diagnostic assessments can assist teachers in achieving the desired learning objectives and enhance teachers' insights regarding diagnostic assessments. The findings also indicate that cognitive diagnostic assessments can be used to map students' learning needs based on their learning styles, interests, and skills. Cognitive diagnostic assessments in teaching personal letter writing in elementary school play a crucial role in ensuring that students can complete tasks well and achieve the expected learning goals. Thus, this research contributes to the development of cognitive assessments that are aligned with the core material and can improve students' problem-solving abilities in elementary school.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the dual roles of women in the novel Layar Terkembang by Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana and how these roles shape their character and demeanor. Method: This research employs a qualitative approach with a text analysis method. The research data is obtained from the text of the novel Layar Terkembang and analyzed using interpretation and descriptive techniques. Results: The study found that women in Layar Terkembang have dual roles, both as individuals and as members of society. These dual roles shape the women into complex, independent, and progressive characters. The characters Tuti and Maria, for instance, demonstrate courage in breaking traditions and pursuing their dreams. The dual roles of women also reflect Sutan Takdir Alisjahbana’s view on women's emancipation during his time. The novel Layar Terkembang not only portrays women as complements to the story but also as messengers conveying the role and potential of women in society. This novel encourages women to transcend traditional boundaries and actively contribute to various aspects of life.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kompetensi pedagogik yang dimiliki guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran teks editorial kelas XII SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat tahun ajaran 2023/2024, Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus yang menggunakan satuan analisis kasus tunggal. Data dalam penelitian ini yaitu berupa hasil wawancara guru dan peserta didik, data hasil melakukan observasi, data berupa dokumentasi. Penelitian ini berfokus terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran teks editorial. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi teknik. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini berupa pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru mampunyai kompetensi pedagogik dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran teks editorial yang terdiri dari 6 indikator; 1) kemampuan membuka pembelajaran berupa motivasi terkait pembelajaran dan langsung melakukan tahapan eksplorasi yaitu guru membuat hubungan diantara materi-materi yang akan dipelajari; 2) kemampuan mengelola kegiatan belajar mengajar dengan melaksanakan tiga kegiatan belajar berupa eksplorasi, elaborasi, dan konfirmasi; 3) kemampuan berkomunikasi dengan siswa yang mengarah pada pembelajaran teks editorial dengan menggunakan pendekatan kepada peserta didik secara kekeluargaan; 4) kemampuan mengorganisasikan kelas dan menggunakan waktu dengan baik; 5) kemampuan melaksanakan penilaian selama proses dan akhir pelajaran dengan menilai tiga aspek yaitu pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan sikap; 6) kemampuan menutup pembelajaran dengan cara memberikan motivasi dan kesimpulan sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar yang dipelajari.

Abstract

Teachers need help in educational reform in planning, learning processes, and evaluation due to errors in identifying technical problems, especially in Indonesian language learning. This certainly has an impact on students' poor critical thinking skills. This research aims to analyze critical thinking in Indonesian language learning. This research was conducted using a mixed method approach. This type of research uses a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The method used to collect data is documentation. The data sources used are the Garuda Portal database and Google Scholar, done with the help of Publish or Parish. 8. The data collection technique uses a Prism Diagram. The techniques used to analyze data are qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative analysis. The results of this research are the publication of articles on critical thinking in learning Indonesian from several of the most productive years in 2022 and 2023, with 17 articles and 34 articles published from the Garuda portal and Google Scholar databases. Integrating critical and creative thinking skills in Indonesian language learning in SD/MI can help improve students' ability to understand, produce, and use language better. In an implementation, starting with learning planning, learning processes, and learning evaluation, there is an implementation in applying critical thinking in Indonesian language learning.

Abstract

This study's goal was to explain how students at SMAN 2 Sungai Penuh learned to write scientific papers using critical reasoning dimensions using a project-based learning model. The study's qualitative case study approach was used to collect data, which was then described descriptively through interviews, documentation studies, and observation.  The findings show that the teaching module, critical reasoning indicators, and the project-based learning model's phases are all used to effectively teach students how to write scientific articles utilizing critical reasoning dimensions. The findings of this study will be useful in helping the development of science by finding new theories to solve the problems faced by Indonesian language teachers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis-jenis kesalahan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika berlandaskan dengan metode Newman. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yaitu seluruh peserta didik kelas VII-1 di MTs Negeri 1 Deli Serdang. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu teknik analisis data model Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 4 dari 5 jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan oleh peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika yaitu, kesaalahan membaca soal (reading error) dengan jumlah 16 kesalahan, kesalahan dalam memahami soal (understanding error) dengan jumlah 24 kesalahan, kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses (process skill error) dengan jumlah 4 kesalahan, kesalahan dalam menuliskan hasil akhir (endcoding error) dengan jumlah 6 kesalahan. Kesalahan tersebut terjadi dikarenakan beberapa indikator yaitu, tidak membaca soal dengan baik dan teliti, tidak menuliskan hal-hal yang diketahui dan ditanyakan dari soal, tidak menghitung proses penyelesaian soal dengan benar, tidak menuliskan hasil akhir sesuai yang diminta soal, atau salah dalam menuliskan hasil akhir. Kata kunci: Soal cerita matematika; kesalahan siswa; metode Newman.   ABSTRACT      This research aims to determine student errors in solving math word problems based on the Newman method. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method. The research subjects were all students of class VII-1 at MTs Negeri 1 Deli Serdang. The data analysis technique used is the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that there were 4 out of 5 types of errors made by students in solving math story problems, namely, reading errors (reading mistakes) with a total of 16 errors, errors in understanding questions (understanding errors) with a total of 24 errors, errors in skills process (process skill error) with a total of 4 errors, a mistake in writing the final result (end coding error) with a total of 6 errors. The error occurred due to several indicators, namely, not reading the questions carefully and adequately, not writing down things that were known and asked about from the questions, not calculating the problem-solving process correctly, not writing down the final results as requested by the questions, or writing wrong answers. Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan kemampuan yang membutuhkan proses dengan tujuan agar siswa bisa memecahkan masalah dengan bervariasi dan benar. Memahami dan memperoleh informasi pada suatu soal merupakan suatu proses yang dialami siswa agar menyelesaikan masalah matematika yaitu disebut dengan gaya belajar.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui gaya belajar visual yang dimiliki siswa,Untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual dalam menyelesaikan soal olimpiade matematika tingkat SMA.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif berupa kata-kata tertulis atau lisan dari orang-orang dan perilaku yang dapat diamati. Dalam proses pengumpulan data penelittian ini menggunakan tiga metode, yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian ini diambil kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Dari 9 siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual, hanya 4 siswa yang sesuai dengan indikator gaya belajar visual. 2) Tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada siswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual digolongkan pada tingkat berpikir kreatif level ke 3 atau cukup kreatif dan level ke 2 atau kurang kreatif. ABSTRACT Creative thinking ability is an ability that requires a process with the aim that students can solve problems varied and correctly. Understanding and obtaining information about a problem is a process experienced by students in order to solve mathematical problems, which is called learning style. high school math olympiad.The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research in the form of written or spoken words from people and observable behavior. In the process of collecting data this research uses three methods, namely observation, interviews, and documentation. From the results of this study, it can be concluded that: 1) Of the 9 students who have a visual learning style, only 4 students are in accordance with the visual learning style indicator. 2) The level of creative thinking ability in students who have a visual learning style is classified as creative thinking level 3 or quite creative and level 2 is less creative.

Abstract

Pembelajaran daring merupakan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan jaringan internet, hal ini menyebabkan kesuliltan terhadap siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Sesuai dengan rumusan masalah, penelitian ini untuk mengetahui: (1) bagaimana proses pembelajaran matematika melalui via daring di SMA Negeri 2 Binjai (2) Kesulitan apa saja yang dialami oleh guru matematika selama melakukan pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri 2 Binjai (3)Bagaimana cara meminimalisir kesulitan yang dialami guru matematika selama melakukan pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri 2 Binjai. Jenis penelitian skripsi ini adalah penelitian lapangan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini meliputi sumber data primer yakni wawancara dan sumber data sekunder yang dapat menunjang penelitian. Pengumpulan data ini dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. ABSTRACK                          Online learning is learning using the internet network, this causes difficulties for students during the learning process. In accordance with the formulation of the problem, this research is to find out: (1) how is the process of learning mathematics via online at SMA Negeri 2 Binjai (2) What difficulties are experienced by mathematics teachers during online learning at SMA Negeri 2 Binjai (3) How do you minimize the difficulties experienced by mathematics teachers during online learning at SMA Negeri 2 Binjai. The type of research in this thesis is a qualitative field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Abstract

Dalam Pembelajaran daring ditengah covid 19 yang saat ini dilakukan, guru dituntut untuk lebih kreatif dan belajar menggunakan teknologi untuk sarana pembelajaran. Yang mana kita ketahui bahwa pembelajaran matematika secara langsung masih saja menimbulkan kesulitan-kesulitan siswa dalam memahami materi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan apa saja yang dialami siswa kelas XI selama proses pembelajaran matematika via daring di SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dalam bentuk deskriptif. Penelitian kualitatif ini akan mempengaruhi keseluruhan proses dan tahapan skripsi yang dilakukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah, peneliti menemukan kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam mata pelajaran matematika pada materi program linier di kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan diantaranya adalah, 1) Kesulitan dalam memahami konsep matematika. 2) Kesulitan dalam prinsip, 3) Kesulitan dalam masalah verbal (menggunakan operasi hitung yang benar). ABSTRACK                        Online learning during covid 19 that is currently being carried out, teachers are required to be more creative and learn to use technology for learning facilities. What we know is that direct mathematics learning still causes students' difficulties in understanding the material. This study aims to find out what difficulties are experienced by class XI students during the online learning process of mathematics at SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan. The method used in this research is qualitative in descriptive form. This qualitative research will affect the whole process and stages of the thesis being carried out. The results of this study are, researchers found the difficulties faced by students in mathematics subjects in linear programming material in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Rantau Selatan including, 1) Difficulties in understanding mathematical concepts. 2) Difficulty in principle, 3) Difficulty in verbal problems (using correct arithmetic operations)

Abstract

This study examines the Kiai's Leadership Strategy in Forming Aswaja's Character in An Nur Islamic Boarding School, Ngrukem, Bantul, Yogyakarta. This type of research was field research using a qualitative approach. Sources of data for this study were taken from data collection methods such as: first, direct observation or observation several times. Second, interviews with boarding school leaders, administrators, teachers, students, and residents around the boarding school. Third, documentation taken from field research studies with various related information. The results showed that all actions and activities carried out by the boarding school community (Dzuriyah Council, administrators, cleric, and students) at An Nur Islamic Boarding School, Ngrukem, Bantul, Yogyakarta not only memorized the Al-Qur'an, but also formed the character of Aswaja to the students.
