Abstract

This research focuses on two important aspects: The research will delve deeply into laws related to well-known brands in Indonesia and the research will analyze specific cases that have been decided by the courts, such as case Number 16/Pdt.Sus-HKI/Brand/2023/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst.Well-known brands are usually highly valued because they spend money on advertising and promotion, and become more popular around the world. In addition, it obtains legal protection through trademark registration in different countries, which gives them exclusive rights to their trademarks and allows others to use them illegally. The Trademark Law in Indonesia provides special protection for well-known brands. However, trademark infringement still occurs in Indonesia. Normative juridical research, with legislation and case approaches on legal protection of well-known brands in Indonesia. Result: The Trademark Law provides a clear framework for the legal protection of well-known trademarks in Indonesia, both preventively and restrictively, in particular Article 21, Article 83 and Explanation of Article 76 paragraph (2). In decision Number 16/Pdt.Sus-HKI/Brand/2023/PN Niaga Jkt.Pst, the Commercial Court considered evidence showing that the Defendant deliberately took advantage of the reputation of the "PUMA and Jumping Cat" brand without permission or license. The Commercial Court decided to cancel the registration of the Defendant's trademark "PUMA and Jumping Cats" because the action infringed the Plaintiff's trademark rights. This decision was made to protect the Claimant from its legitimate trademark rights.

Abstract

Sweet corn production in Indonesia has increased from 2015 by 19.83 million tons and increased to 23.16 million tons in 2016 (Ministry of Agriculture, 2020). Sweet corn production in Indonesia is low, with an average yield of around 8.31 t ha-1 (Garate, 2017). NPK fertilizer is one of the technologies in the agricultural business that facilitates farmers in applying plant nutrition because NPK fertilizer contains more than one type of nutrient. (Trichoderma sp is a microorganism or biological agent that can improve soil's physical, chemical, and biological properties. Trichoderma fungi make the soil structure loose, making it easier for roots to absorb nutrients, especially phosphate (P), and increase microbial activity. Trichoderma sp is a decomposer (decomposing species) and plant stimulator. The research method used is Randomized Group Design (RAK). The first factor is the application of NPK Phnska Plus fertilizer, and the second factor is the dose of Trichoderma sp. and the quadratic regression analysis test. There is an interaction effect between the dose of NPK fertilizer and the dose of Trichoderma on all parameters observed. NPK fertilizer dose of 6 grams/plant (P2) and Trichoderma dose of 20 grams/plant produced significant weight compared to other treatments. 45% of the variance of the treatment variable of NPK fertilizer dose and Trichoderma dose has not been able to explain the independent variable.

Abstract

This research explores the regulation of child custody for minors under Indonesian law following divorce, based on Decision Number 3208/pdt.G/2020/PA.Krw. Divorce entails the allocation of custody to one of the separating partners, either the mother or the father. Additionally, parents are obliged to educate their children until they reach the age of 18 or marry. The study adopts a normative juridical method, finding that the regulation of child custody for minors is outlined in Article 105 of the Compilation of Islamic Law, granting a mother the right to raise a child who is not yet mature (mumayyiz) or under 12 years old, while a mature child is returned to them. However, in divorce cases, these rules may not apply, and judges have the discretion to consider the child's interests under Law Number 1, Article 41, with custody potentially revoked under Law Number 1 of 1975, Article 45(1). Custody of minors under Islamic Law is governed by Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, amended by Law Number 35 of 2014, Article 105, which assigns custody of children under 12 to their mothers, yet court rulings may favor fathers.

Abstract

Abstract

Curry is a typical Indonesian dish that requires a long process to make. Therefore, innovation in making curry in block form is needed, as has been done for Japanese curry blocks. This research aims to obtain the best curry block formulation based on sensory quality tests, hedonic tests, and chemical analysis. The research was carried out by formulating 5 formulas through trial and error (BK001, BK002, BK003, BK004, and BK005). The research treatment was the difference in ratio between modified starch and wheat flour, namely BK005A, BK005B, and BK005C. Data analysis used ANOVA and continued with Duncan at the 5% level. The trial and error stage research results showed that the best formulation was code BK 005. From the results of hedonic and sensory quality tests, BK 005 was preferred compared to curry seasoning on the market. The results of further research showed that the research treatment had a significant effect on the results of the texture and block compactness tests as well as the hedonic test results as overall. BK 005B block curry seasoning is the best treatment based on the results of texture tests, sensory quality tests, cohesiveness parameters, and overall taste. The results of the curry seasoning analysis for block BK 005B were water content 2.17%, water activity (Aw) 0.49, viscosity 0.3 dPas/s3, hardness 981.0 gr/mm2, and pH 6.00.
