Abstract

Background. Volvariella volvacea (straw mushroom) is a high-demand agricultural commodity. Rice straw is used as a planting medium in this crop production. During the harvest season, this type of media is abundant. Other press must be used to produce straw mushrooms continuously. Aims. This research aims to study the growth and yield of the mushroom V. volvacea on various growing media. Karawang regency hosted an experimental study. Methods. The experimental design was a randomized complete block design with six treatments and four replications. The treatment of mushroom growing media in rice straw, rice husk, waste from textile fabric (cotton), and three other treatments was a 1:1 (v/v) mixture of these planting media. Result. The findings revealed that different planting media had an impact on the growth and yield of straw mushrooms. Conclusion. The highest mushroom production was obtained by combining the growing media ,straw and husk ,in a 1:1 ratio. Implementation. Rice husk can be used as a substitute for straw as a growing medium.

Abstract

Penelitian terhadap karyawan di industri penerbangan ini memiliki tujuann untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh dari pembagian waktu kerja terhadap keseimbangan kehidupan kerja, kepuasan kerja dan retensi karyawan. Penelitian ini berangkat dari penelitian sebelumnya dengan perbedaan latar belakang industri dan lokasi. Perbedaannya dengan penelitian ini adalah dengan menambahkan variabel retensi karyawan. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 167 orang yang bekerja dengan sistem pembagian waktu kerja. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dalam rentang waktu Juli hingga Agustus dengan cara survey secara daring menggunakan Google Form serta responden dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling di Airnav Indonesia. Hasil analisis menggunakan analisis faktor dan pemodelan persamaan structural (Structural Equalion Modelling) dengan menggunakan LISREL.  Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pembagian waktu kerja memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap keseimbangan kerja dan retensi karyawan. Selain itu, keseimbangan kehidupan kerja juga memiliki hubungan positif terhadap kepuasan kerja dan retensi karyawan. Temuan pada penelitian ini adalah pembagian waktu kerja tidak memiliki hubungan dengan kepuasan kerja, namun dapat menambahkan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja sebagai mediasi antara pembagian waktu kerja dan kepuasan kerja. Keterbatasan penelitian ini adalah penelitian hanya dilakukan pada satu perusahaan dan perlunya melakukan pengukuran lebih mendalam terkait kepuasan kerja serta penelitian ini dilakukan pasca pandemi.Kata Kunci: Pembagian Waktu Kerja, Keseimbangan Kehidupan Kerja, Kepuasan Kerja, Retensi Karywan, Industri Penerbangan

Abstract

The community service aims to increase the understanding of business legalities such as NIB certificates, labels, and product packaging for SMEs in Parseh village, Socah district, and Bangkalan regency. The program implementation method is carried out in three stages: preparation, implementation, and post-implementation. The program focuses on two activities: assistance in issuing NIB certificates and knowledge about labels and product packaging to 30 MSMEs. These activities showed that most SMEs do not have NIB and lacked knowledge about the importance of business legality labels and packaging for three months. By conducting this program, all of the SMEs have succeeded in issuing NIB certificates, as well as successfully making mock-ups of labels and product packaging that are suitable for business improvement. The program evaluation shows that all aspects of the implementation of activities, such as benefits, facilities, and roles of the companions, have good values and relatively high NPS (Net Promoter Score) values, which are beneficial for SMEs.

Abstract

Culture has an essential role in an organization, where culture will reflect behavioral processes that have values, beliefs and habits that influence individual attitudes in the organization. This study aims to explore the influence of the role of transformational leadership, organizational culture, and employee engagement on employee performance. The research was conducted in 2022 involving 192 flying school employees in Indonesia. This quantitative research using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method. The results of the study show that transformational leadership contributes to improving organizational culture and employee performance. Then organizational culture can strengthen employee engagement with the organization and improve employee performance. Employee engagement is also considered capable of improving employee performance. The resulting managerial implications are organizations must be able to choose leaders who are optimistic about the future of the organization, able to provide new insights in completing work, and have self-confidence and capability in their work. Then the organization can apply a culture that is in accordance with organizational goals, and the organization must have a realistic and vision and mission obviously, so that with this clarity employees are able to provide the best performance results for their organization.

Abstract

Management strategies and leadership models can influence employee performance and productivity. Competent human resources are crucial assets for the stability and growth of the banking sector. HRD employees play a vital role in managing human resources in the banking industry. Research on HRD employees is necessary to analyze the impact of management strategies on performance and productivity. Empowering leadership is one leadership model believed to enhance employee engagement, knowledge sharing, and innovative behavior. The primary objective of this study is to examine the role of empowering leadership in increasing these behaviors. The study's respondents consisted of 175 HRD employees from private banking industries in Indonesia. The data were processed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Several findings from this study indicate that empowering leadership positively influences employee engagement and innovative behavior. Additionally, knowledge sharing has a positive effect on innovative behavior. However, empowering leadership does not have a direct positive impact on knowledge sharing unless mediated by employee engagement. Moreover, empowering leadership positively affects innovative behavior when mediated through two sequential mediators: employee engagement and knowledge sharing. The managerial implications of this study suggest that implementing an empowering leadership model can foster recognition, emotional support, and career development, thereby enhancing employee engagement. This, in turn, motivates employees to share experiences and information, which can support their creativity.

Abstract

Generation Z is increasingly influenced by social media when making purchasing decisions, particularly by influencers on platforms like Instagram. This study aims to analyze the impact of source credibility, trust, parasocial interaction, and physical attractiveness of influencer Tasya Farasya on the purchase intention of Generation Z consumers. The study employed a purposive sampling method involving 150 respondents aged 18 years and above. Data were collected through an online survey and analyzed using PLS-SEM with the assistance of SPLS 4 software. The results showed that source credibility, parasocial interaction, and physical attractiveness positively influence purchase intention, while trust does not have significant impact. These findings emphasize that the credibility and visual appeal of influencers play a critical role in driving the purchase decisions of Generation Z consumers. Form a practical perspective, companies are advised to collaborate with influencers who are credible and visually appealing to enhance the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Abstract

Curriculum evaluation is a strategic step in improving the quality of learning, including in teaching Arabic in Islamic boarding schools. This article discusses the evaluation of the Arabic language curriculum in Salafiyah and modern Islamic boarding schools using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model developed by Daniel Stufflebeam. This model allows for a comprehensive assessment of the curriculum context, resources, learning implementation, and the final results achieved. Salafiyah Islamic boarding schools emphasize more on understanding classical texts (yellow books) with traditional methods such as sorogan and bandongan, while modern Islamic boarding schools adopt a competency-based and technology-based approach to improve active communication skills in Arabic. The evaluation shows that both types of Islamic boarding schools have their own advantages and challenges in implementing the Arabic language curriculum. Supporting factors such as the competence of teaching staff, the use of learning media, and policy support also influence the effectiveness of the curriculum. Therefore, a comprehensive evaluation system is needed so that Islamic boarding schools can develop a curriculum that is relevant. ABSTRAKEvaluasi kurikulum merupakan langkah strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, termasuk dalam pengajaran bahasa Arab di pesantren. Artikel ini membahas evaluasi kurikulum bahasa Arab di pesantren salafiyah dan modern dengan menggunakan model CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) yang dikembangkan oleh Daniel Stufflebeam. Model ini memungkinkan penilaian menyeluruh terhadap konteks kurikulum, sumber daya, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan hasil akhir yang dicapai. Pesantren salafiyah lebih menitikberatkan pada pemahaman teks klasik (kitab kuning) dengan metode tradisional seperti sorogan dan bandongan, sementara pesantren modern mengadopsi pendekatan berbasis kompetensi dan teknologi untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi aktif dalam bahasa Arab. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa kedua jenis pesantren memiliki keunggulan dan tantangan masing-masing dalam implementasi kurikulum bahasa Arab. Faktor pendukung seperti kompetensi tenaga pengajar, penggunaan media pembelajaran, dan dukungan kebijakan turut memengaruhi efektivitas kurikulum. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan sistem evaluasi yang komprehensif agar pesantren dapat menyusun kurikulum yang relevan.

Abstract

A practice that is widespread in banking, credit collateral is material in the form of land. In credit agreement practice, defaults often occur, therefore collateral is needed, so that credit agreements gain trust and have high economic value. In this writing, the author aims to find out the legal certainty of creditors regarding collateral in the form of property rights certificates in credit agreements and to find out what the judge's decision was in decision number 8/Pdt.G.S/2021/PN.Kwg. This research uses a normative juridical approach. This research concludes that in credit agreements with collateral, legal protection for creditors is very necessary. Therefore, material collateral is needed to minimize the risk of default by the debtor. Article 6 of the Mortgage Rights Law states that if there is a breach of contract in a credit agreement, the first mortgage holder has the right to sell the collateral that is the object of the mortgage through a public auction.

Abstract

Stunting adalah masalah gizi kronis yang berdampak buruk pada kesehatan dan perkembangan anak. Prevalensi stunting di Asia Tenggara dan Indonesia masih tinggi, melebihi standar World Health Organization (WHO). Pengabdian masyarakat sebagai pendekatan pencegahan stunting melibatkan seluruh komunitas dan memerlukan partisipasi aktif masyarakat, termasuk remaja. Pembentukan kelompok remaja peduli stunting menjadi kunci penting dalam hal ini, remaja adalah calon orang tua masa depan yang dapat menghindari pernikahan dini dan memahami pentingnya kesehatan. Pengabdian masyarakat dilaksanakan di Desa Botumoito dengan metode participatory community service. Hasilnya mencakup pemahaman siswa tentang pencegahan stunting, serta komitmen remaja karang taruna sebagai agen perubahan yang merupakan bagian integral dalam mengurangi angka stunting, meningkatkan kesehatan di Desa dan perkembangan anak-anak di masa depan. Edukasi melalui sistem pendidikan dapat membentuk pola pikir sehat sejak usia dini, kegiatan ini menggambarkan pentingnya melibatkan remaja dalam pencegahan stunting melalui pemahaman dan pelatihan yang sesuai. Upaya ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak-anak di Desa Botumoito.
