Abstract

Introduction: Women who have just given birth experience physical and psychological changes. The release period is a time when mothers try to take over responsibility. Psychological changes occur in various periods, namely Taking In, Taking Holding, and Letting Go. The psychological changes of mothers who have just given birth require support from the family to adjust. Postpartum mothers in avoiding Baby Blues Syndrome are also influenced by very important family support. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between family support and the occurrence of Baby Blues Syndrome in postpartum mothers Methods: The research is a cross-sectional research approach, using a sample of 25 postpartum mothers in the Simorejo area, Simomulya District, Surabaya City with a consecutive sampling technique. Analysis of this research data used the Spearman Rho test. Results: The proportion with high family support (57.9%) with a P value (0.000). The meaning that if family support is high then Baby Blues Syndrome will not occur. Conclusions: The average level of family support received was 56%, so this research is expected to increase knowledge for mothers after giving birth by paying attention to family support to avoid the occurrence of Baby Blues Syndrome.

Abstract

Employee performance can be measured by their ability to complete all the work that is their responsibility. The decline in employee performance at Lion Air is characterized by a lack of knowledge of company procedures, high levels of tardiness and absenteeism, and a lack of communication and coordination between team members. This study seeks to examine the impact of competency, work discipline, and teamwork on the performance of employees at PT Lion Mentari Airlines. This study uses a quantitative method. The population of this study is the operational employees of Lion Air Ngurah Rai Airport, with a sampling technique using a total sample of 100 employees. The data source used is primary data obtained from distributing questionnaires via Google Forms. Data analysis was carried out using SmartPLS software version 4.0. This study's findings demonstrate that Competence, Work Discipline, and Teamwork positively and significantly influence employee performance.

Abstract

The development of fine motor skills in children is a crucial ability that can be nurtured. The development of fine motor skills is frequently delayed in children with exceptional disabilities. Technology-based games, available in a variety of specialized smartphone applications, are one way to gradually and entertainingly improve children's fine motor skills. The purpose of this study is to assess the effectiveness technology-based games in helping children with special needs develop their fine motor skills. The research design uses a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pre-post test approach. A total of 28 children with special needs were the subjects of the study. Data were collected through observation using the Bender Visual Motor Gestalt Test instrument and analyzed using the Wilcoxon statistical test. The research results show that after engaging in technology-based games, the percentage of those surveyed with high fine motor abilities rose from 21.4% to 57.1% after playing technology-based games. Statistical test analysis showed a significant improvement in the fine motor skills of children with special needs after being given technology-based games, with a p-value of 0.000 and α < 0.05. The results of this study provide evidence of the influence of technology-based games on fine motor skills in special needs children. The implications of the research on technology-based games can be an effective alternative for developing fine motor skills in special needs children.

Abstract

Optimizing the performance of sub-district employees relates to their ability to adapt to change. This research aims to determine how Change Management, Work Involvement, and Work Motivation influence employee performance in Sidoarjo. The study uses a quantitative method. It draws on a sample of 90 respondents, selected by cluster sampling. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis used SPSS Version 25 to test hypotheses and applied multiple linear regression. Results show that Change Management has a positive, significant effect on Employee Performance. Job Involvement also has a positive, significant impact. However, Work Motivation does not affect Employee Performance. The study finds that Change Management, Job Involvement, and Work Motivation together significantly influence employee performance.

Abstract

Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan produktivitas dan stabilitas ekonomi petani melalui penerapan sistem pertanian terintegrasi antara budidaya kelapa dan ikan lele di Desa Bubuhan, Kabupaten Simeulue. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil produksi kelapa dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) dan Community Development, yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap: (1) sosialisasi konsep budidaya terpadu; (2) pendampingan praktik lapangan mencakup integrasi budidaya kelapa dan lele serta pemanfaatan limbah kolam menjadi pupuk organik cair; dan (3) evaluasi partisipatif dan sumatif. Hasil evaluasi partisipatif menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman awal petani terhadap konsep integrasi dan pengolahan limbah masih rendah, namun 95% menyatakan optimisme tinggi terhadap potensi peningkatan pendapatan. Setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi sumatif menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, sebanyak 87% petani memahami sistem integrasi, 100% mampu memfermentasi limbah lele menjadi POC, dan seluruh peserta termotivasi menerapkan sistem secara mandiri. Selain itu, 80% responden mengakui adanya peluang diversifikasi ekonomi. Program ini terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan semangat kemandirian petani. Implementasi sistem pertanian terintegrasi berbasis sumber daya lokal memiliki kontribusi strategis dalam mendukung ketahanan pangan dan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat pedesaan.

Abstract

This study develops and evaluates a machine learning model for predicting optimal irrigation schedules using real-time environmental data collected from an Internet of Things (IoT) system. Building upon a previously validated smart farming monitoring system that provided real-time data on temperature, humidity, and soil moisture, this research addresses the next step: moving from monitoring to predictive analytics. Data collected over a six-day period from DHT11 temperature and humidity sensors, as well as soil moisture sensors, were used to train a predictive model. The model is designed to forecast future soil moisture levels, thereby providing farmers with proactive recommendations for irrigation. A Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural network was employed to capture the temporal dependencies between atmospheric conditions and soil moisture. The model was trained on a portion of the collected data and then validated on a separate, unseen dataset. The evaluation yielded a Mean Absolute Error (MAE) of 2.5%, a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 3.1%, and an R-squared (R2) value of 0.92, demonstrating high predictive accuracy. This approach aims to enhance water resource management, reduce manual intervention, and improve crop health by ensuring water is supplied only when necessary. The results indicate that the machine learning model can accurately predict irrigation needs, offering a significant improvement over traditional, reactive monitoring systems and marking a substantial step towards data-driven, precision agriculture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and organizational communication on employee teamwork with knowledge sharing as an intervening variable at PT Bintang Teknik Nyata. This study was motivated by a significant decline in the number of company projects over the past three years, which is suspected to be caused by internal problems related to organizational culture, communication, and team collaboration. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach with data collection through questionnaires to 130 employees using probability sampling techniques. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the help of SmartPLS 4.1.1.4 software. The results show that organizational culture and organizational communication have a positive and significant effect on knowledge sharing, while organizational culture has no direct effect on teamwork. Conversely, organizational communication and knowledge sharing are proven to have a positive and significant effect on teamwork. In addition, knowledge sharing fully mediates the relationship between organizational culture and teamwork and partially mediates the relationship between organizational communication and teamwork. These findings confirm that effective knowledge sharing practices are key to strengthening team collaboration, improving employee performance, and supporting the success of project-based organizations such as PT Bintang Teknik Nyata.

Abstract

Introduction: Mother's Milk (ASI) is the best food for babies. Breastfeeding plays an important role in maintaining health and maintain the viability of the baby. During breastfeeding, in order to achieve exclusive breastfeeding , the mother needs support, one of which is the family support. Family support is very important for the smooth process of lactation and breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding in nursing mothers in RW 01, Kelurahan Sidotopo Kecamatan Semampir Surabaya. Methods: This study design is the correlation design. The independent variable is the support of family and the dependent variable is exclusive breastfeeding. Samples taken by 30 respondents. Respondents were selected using the "purposive sampling", while the data collection tool is a questionnaire. Results: The data has been tabulated and tested with contingency coefficient obtained by value p = 0.000, α = 0.005. Based on the results of this study concluded that there is a strong relationship between family support exclusive breastfeeding. Discussion:Family support is very important in providing exclusive breastfeeding. The provision of information in the form of counseling can improve the ability of mothers in exclusive breastfeeding in infants.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Air Susu Ibu (ASI) merupakan emulsi lemak dalam larutan protein, laktise dan garam-garam organik yang di sekresi oleh kedua belah kelenjar payudara ibu, sebagai makanan utama bagi bayi. Sejak awal kelahirannya sampai bayi berusia 6 bulan, ASI merupakan sumber nutrisi utama bagi bayi. Agar ibu tetap bisa mengatur pemberian ASInya maka ibu harus mengatur kelahiran dengan menjadi akseptor KB Suntik. Metode: Jenis Penelitian ini menggunakan desain korelasional dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Cara pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan tehnik probability sampling atau simple random sampling, yang dilakukan pada bulan April 2018 dengan besar sampel sebanyak 30 responden. Hasil: Hasil penelitian sebagian besar responden berusia 20-25 tahun, pendidikan SMK/SMA, tidak bekerja, mempunyai jumlah anak dua. Hasil uji statistik chi square rho p= 0,001 (α< 0,05), menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak sehingga terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara penggunaan KB Suntik Depo Provera dengan kelancaran ASI di puskesmas tanahkali kedinding surabaya. Kesimpulan: Penggunaan KB Suntik Depo Provera bukan merupakan faktor dominan yang mempengaruhi kelancaran ASI. Penggunaan KB Suntik Depo Provera tetap diikuti dengan mengontrol stress, fisik, psikologi, menjaga pola makan yang bergizi dan teratur untuk kontrol agar ASI tetap lancar.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Proses degenartif yang terjadi pada usia lanjut menyebabkan munculnya berbagai jenis penyakit kronis pada lansia. Mengingat proses perawatan jangaka panjang yang dibutuhkan maka penderita penyakit kronis dituntut untuk memiliki kemampuan perawatan diri yang baik agar dapat melaksanakan perawatan diri secara mandiri demin mencapai status kesehatan yang optimal. Status kesehatan yang baik akan berkontribusi terhadap kualitas hidup yang baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kemampuan merawat diri terhadap kualitas hidup lansia dengan penyakit kronis. Metode: Penelitian cross-sectional ini melibatkan 40 orang lansia penderita penyakit kronis di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Jagir, Surabaya. Variabel kemampuan merawat diri dan kualitas hidup lansia diukur dengan instrumen DSCAI dan OPQOL yang valid dan reliabel. Uji regresi linear digunakan dalam proses analisis data. Hasil: Mayoritas responden memiliki kemampuan merawat diri yang baik (65%) dan kualitas hidup yang baik (67%). Kemampuan merawat diri mempengaruhi kualitas hidup lansia secara signifikan (p=0,000). Kemampuan merawat diri menentukan 73,5% varians nilai kualitas hidup lansia {R=0,735). Pembahasan: Kemampuan merawat diri akan tercermin dalam aktivitas perawatan diri seharihari yang dapat mempengaruhi status kesehatan lansia sehingga berdampak pada kualitas hidupnya. Kesimpulan: Kemampuan merawat diri mempengaruhi kualitas hidup lansia secara signifikan. Kemampuan merawat diri menentukan 73,5% varians nilai kualitas hidup lansia dengan penyakit kronis.
