Abstract

The target community in this PKM is elementary school teachers in Pontianak City. From the interviews, information was obtained that many teachers thought that efforts to improve their students’ abilities and skills in reading, writing and taking notes were solely the task of language teachers (Indonesian and/or English). This assumption needs to be straightened out. The dense content of teaching materials and limited face-to-face time are the reasons why many teachers do not integrate these two basic activities - reading and writing - in the classroom learning process. Teachers admitted that they rarely, if not never, train students to read using the SQ3R technique in science learning at school. This PKM activity is expected to provide additional insight for elementary school teachers in applying the SQ3R reading technique in science learning, recognizing the structure of reading texts, and making graphic post-organizer notes so that they can be applied in learning teaching materials at school. In the end, it is also hoped that the training can improve the quality of the results and processes of science and science learning in schools. Many research results conclude that learning activities that apply SQ3R are more active and the retention of learning outcomes is better (significantly different) compared to ordinary learning activities (mere lectures). This PKM training activity had been able to increase teachers' understanding of the application of the SQ3R reading technique in science and science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

financial distressis a condition where the company's finances are experiencing a loss because it is considered unable to pay its obligations when they are due. The increase in cigarette excise rates will certainly have an impact on the shares of cigarette issuers and result in an increase in the selling price of cigarettes which will allow the company to experience financial distress. Cigarette companies need to analyze the company's financial condition, in which companies can predict opportunities for financial distress. Among them are using bankruptcy prediction models, one of which is zmijewski, altman z-score and ohlson. The aim of the researchers was to determine the prediction of financial distress in cigarette companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2022 period using the Zmijewski method, altman z-score and Ohlson. This research is a descriptive research,The results show that the Zmijewski method predicts all healthy companies, the Altman Z-Score method for three companies is said to be healthy and the Ohlson method has two companies in good health. Ohlson's method has a high degree of accuracy72% with Typel Elrror 1 at 20% and Typel Elrror II at 8%. So that the Ohlson model is the most appropriate to use in predicting financial distress in cigarette companies listed on the Indonesian Efek Exchange (BEI).

Abstract

The primary objective of this study is to examine the efficiency of Solution Focused Brief therapy (SFBC) group therapy as a means of enhancing the self-efficacy levels among seventh-grade students at SMP N 19 Pontianak. The chosen research methodology was experimentation, specifically employing a pre-experimental design research approach with a pre-test-post-test one group design. The participants in this study were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Specifically, a sample of 10 individuals with poor self-efficacy was drawn from a population of 31 individuals. Based on the computed data, the mean score of the pre-test (before to receiving any intervention) was 96 within the low category, while the post-test (after the administration of treatment) had an average score of 136 within the high group. The T statistic was derived using the Paired sample T-test, yielding a result of -3.928, accompanied by a significance level (Sig value). The p-value of 0.03, calculated using a two-tailed test, is less than the significance level of 0.05. This indicates that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. Therefore, there is a significant difference in student self-efficacy before and after receiving SFBC group counseling treatment. Based on the findings, it can be inferred that SFBC group counseling demonstrates efficacy in enhancing the self-efficacy levels of seventh-grade students enrolled at SMP N 19 Pontianak.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between in learning motivation, learning discipline, and learning activity with the students learning achievement in the thematic lesson. This study used a quantitative approach with correlation research type. The sample of this amounted to 27 students. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire and documentation study. The analysis technique was carried out by using determine the relationship between in learning motivation, learning discipline, and learning activity on the students"™s learning achievement using simple correlation analysis and multiple correlation. The results showed that there was a relationship between (1) learning motivation with the students learning achievement of 0,239 categorized as "low", (2) learning discipline with the students learning achievement of 0,315 categorized as "low", (3) learning activity with the students learning achievement of 0,310 categorized as "low", (4) learning motivation and learning discipline with the students learning achievement of 0,337 are categorized as "low", (5) learning motivation and learning activity with the students learning achievement of 0,384 are categorized as "low", (6) learning discipline and learning activity with the students learning achievement of 0,340 are categorized as "low", (7) learning motivation, learning discipline, and learning activity with the students learning achievement of 0,399 are categorized as "low".  Keywords: Learning Motivation, Learning Discipline, Learning Activity, Students"™ Learning Achievement in the Thematic Lesson

Abstract

Perubahan kurikulum merupakan bagian untuk meningkatkan sistem pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menguraikan peranan kepala sekolah SD Islam AL Azhar 21 Pontianak dalam implementasi kurikulum.  Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk menyelidiki profesionalisme pimpinan sekolah dalam implementasi penerapan kurikulum merdeka. Adapun jenis penelitian ini adalah  kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis fenomenologis. Data dikumpulkan dengan cara mewawancarai kepala sekolah, wakil kurikulum, dan guru pelaksana kurikulum merdeka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan implementasi kurikulum merdeka membuat guru lebih professional melalui berbagai macam pembinaan dan pelatihan. Kepala sekolah melaksanakan peranannya menjadi mediator dan motivator keikutsertaan guru dalam pelatihan kurikulum. Kepala sekolah juga berperan sebagai partisipator dalam rapat atau diskusi secara rutin. Kepala sekolah juga sebagai supervisor dan evaluator dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka. Faktor yang dihadapi kepala sekolah adalah kurang lancarnya jaringan internet sebagai sarana untuk kelancaran guru menggunakan teknologi dalam pembelajaran. Hasil yang diharapkan teori-teori dalam penelitian menjadi bahan pertimbangan kepala sekolah untuk mengambil keputusan dalam menjawab permasalahan dan peningkatan kualitas atau mutu pendidikan melalui implementasi kurikulum merdeka.

Abstract

Pagar Nusa merupakan salah satu perguruan pencak silat yang ada di indonesia. Pagar nusa dibentuk dengan menganut ajaran Islam Ahlussunnah Waljama’ah dan menganut salah satu dari madzhab empat ditengah-tengah kehidupan masyarakat dalam wadah Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia yang berdasarkan Pancasila dan Undang-Undang Dasar 1945. Dengan adanya tindakan - tindakan negatif yang sering terjadi dan sikap intoleransi dari oknum-oknum pendekar dapat menciderai nilai-nilai luhur yang ada dalam pencak silat. Kerap karna ego pribadi dan fanatisme yang berlebihan dapat di manfaatkan oknum-oknum yang tidak bertanggung jawab mengadu domba antar kelompok-kelompok pencak silat sehingga memunculkan sikap intoleransi antar pendekar pencak silat. Adanya konflik tersebut menyebabkan keresahan serta rasa tidak nyaman yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat sehingga warisan budaya yang seharusnya kita jaga dengan regenerasi pendekar muda kini keadaanya lebih susah. Sehingga dibutuhkannya penguatan nilai-nilai ahlussunnah waljamaah an-nadhliyah dan nilai pancasila khususnya pada pegiat pencak silat PSNU Pagar Nusa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi kelompok seni pencak silat pagar nusa ranting Maor sebagai upaya Penguatan Nilai-nilai Ahlusuna Waljamaah An-Nahdliyah dan Nilai Pancasila melalui pembentukan aswaja center untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang keaswajaan, nilai-nilai pluralisme dan faham nasionalisme di kalangan PSNU Pagar Nusa. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan tahapan persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Hasil dari pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yang pertama terdapat peningkatan ilmu pengetahuan mitra tentang nilai- nilai ahlussunnah waljamaah an-nadhliyah dan nilai pancasila. Kedua terbentuknya kepengurusan aswaja center maor dan ketiga terdapat pemanfaatan teknologi digital berupa youtube dan spotify aswaja center maor sebagai bentuk peran aktif mitra dalam syiar agama islam terkait nilai-nilai ahlussunnah waljamaah an-nadhliyah dan nilai pancasila

Abstract

Kurangnya kemampuan dalam penyelesaian konflik, mengendalikan diri, sulit beradaptasi dan menyesuaikan diri dengan orang lain merupakan permasalahan yang dialami siswa. Sebagai siswa, tentunya resiliensi yang baik sangat diperlukan agar dapat melaksanakan proses pembelajaran sebagaimana mestinya serta mampu menjalin hubungan sosial yang baik antar sesama. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji efektivitas konseling kelompok menggunakan teknik self-management untuk meningkatkan resiliensi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian Pre-Eksperimental Design dengan rancangan penelitian Pre-Test dan Post-Test One Group Design. Sampel diambil berdasarkan teknik non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 7 orang siswa yang memiliki tingkat resiliensi terendah dari populasi yang berjumlah 70 orang yaitu siswa kelas X yang memiliki tingkat resiliensi rendah. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang diperoleh hasil rata-rata Pre-Test (sebelum diberikan perlakuan) adalah 55 dan Post-Test (sesudah diberikan perlakuan) adalah 70. Selanjutnya, diperoleh thitung menggunakan Paired Sample T-test yaitu sebesar -6.806 dengan Sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0,05 serta hasil Effect Size 1,5 very large (sangat besar), yang artinya Ha diterima H0 ditolak. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara tingkat resiliensi siswa sebelum dan sesudah diberikan konseling kelompok dengan teknik self-management sangat efektif untuk meningkatkan resiliensi siswa.Abstract: The lack of conflict resolution skills, self-control, and difficulty in adapting and adjusting to others are problems that students face. As students, good resilience is certainly needed in order to carry out the learning process properly and to build good social relationships with others. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of group counseling using self-management techniques to enhance the resilience of 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. The research method used is experimental, with a Pre-Experimental Design in the form of a Pre-Test and Post-Test One Group Design. The sample was taken based on non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of 7 students who had the lowest levels of resilience out of a population 70, especially 10th-grade students with low resilience. Based on the calculations, the average Pre-Test score (before the treatment) was 55, and the average Post-Test (after the treatment) was 70. Furthermore, the t-value obtained using the Paired Sample T-test was -6.806 with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05 and an Effect Size result of 1.5, indicating a very large effect. This means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted, and the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Therefore, there is a significant difference in the resilience levels of students before and after receiving group counseling with self-management techniques, demonstrating that it is highly effective in enhancing the resilience of 10th-grade students.

Abstract

Abstract

Education to be major the important aspect towards humans because it can create quality humans in people's lives. Processing education, students are required could be able to face and undergo the provisions that exist in academic life. In today's digital era, technology and social media are developing precipitately, made it easue towards user to access social media freely. Become popularity one of kinds of media social is TikTok. It is known that students are very fond of using TikTok by reason of it, this platform could be able entertain user whenever they were boring. Excessive use of TikTok will have an impact on students' academic performance. Many students cannot undergo the provisions that exist in academic life, one of which is doing assignments. Learners delay doing assignments and cause a mismatch between educational goals and existing realities. The purposelly this reseach was to established the grade the intensity of TikTok uses and the level of academic procrastination of eight grade students in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya, as well as the impact towards intensity of TikTok using towards academic procrastination of students in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The yields of this reseach has impact towards intensity of using the TikTok application on the academic procrastination of students in SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya with an effect of 22.9%.

Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic in Class VII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak, the purpose of this study is to describe the role parents played in allowing their children to study at home. This study employs a quantitative descriptive approach. Data was gathered using methods other than tests, like questionnaires. There were 210 people in the study's population, and up to 63 people were sampled. The showed that during the COVID-19 pandemic Class VII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak, parents played a "good" role in helping their children study at home. In the category of "enough," parents played a role in providing learning resources at home for 59,87 percent of children. The job of guardians in giving inspiration to learn at home 67,33% is in the "upside" classification. The percentage of parents who supervise their children while they are studying at home reaches 67,14 percent, which includes the percentage of parents who help students overcome learning obstacles and is rated "good." Based on this description, it is possible to draw the conclusion that parents' participation in helping their children study at home during the Covid-19 pandemic at Class VII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak is typically rated as "good." This indicates that parents of Class VII SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak students participate in helping their children study at home in a satisfactory manner. BK teachers should be expected to be able to visit students with learning difficulties at home, according to suggestions. in addition to actively contacting the parents of seventh-grade students to support their children's learning.
