Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of sociodrama techniques in group counseling to improve interpersonal communication among students at Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Junior High School in Kubu Raya. This study uses a quantitative pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of eight students with very low interpersonal communication skills were sampled in this study. The instrument used in this study was an interpersonal communication questionnaire. The results showed that the average questionnaire score of students before receiving the service was in the very low category with an average percentage of 64%, and after receiving the service, it became 78%, which was in the very high category. From the hypothesis testing results using a paired sample t-test assisted by the SPSS for Windows ver.27 program, a sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000<0.05 was obtained. Therefore, h0 was rejected and ha was accepted, which means that there was an increase in interpersonal communication skills among students before and after the service was provided. It can be concluded that group counseling services using the sociodrama technique are effective in improving the interpersonal communication of students at SMP Kemala Bhayangkari 1 Kubu Raya.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the most important factors that influences student learning achievement. In the learning process, motivation is considered as a driving force within students that generates learning activities and provides clear direction to learning activities so that desired goals can be achieved. Guidance and counseling teachers can also play a role in overcoming low student learning motivation, one of which is by providing group counseling services. This study aims to test the effectiveness of group counseling services with motivational interviewing techniques on increasing learning motivation of grade IX students at SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak. The method used is an experiment with a Pre-Experimental Design research design of the One-Group Pretest and Post-test Design. The research sample consisted of 6 students with the lowest learning motivation from a total population of 159 students in grades A-F. The calculation results show that the pre-test percentage is 65% with a low category, while the post-test reaches 87% with a medium category. The statistical test with Paired Sample T-test produced a T count of 17.249 and a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.000, which indicates that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a significant difference between students' learning motivation before and after being given group counseling services with motivational interviewing techniques. Thus, it can be concluded that group counseling with motivational interviewing techniques is effective in increasing the learning motivation of class IX students of SMP Negeri 19 Pontianak.

Abstract

Kondisi kini menunjukkan bahwa materi uji kompetensi atas skema sertifikasi dari Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Pihak ke-3 (LSP P3) Perdagangan dan Ritel Semarang belum aktual mengakibatkan potensi tidak relevan penguasaan kompetensi dalam dunia kerja. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk penyusun materi uji kompetensi pada LSP P3 Perdagangan Riset secara valid dan aktual. Pendampingan yang dilakukan tidak saja memberikan pemahaman namun juga motivasi untuk melakukan peningkatan kualitas uji kompetensi secara umum. Pendampingan dilakukan pelatihan teknis, evaluasi dan pengawasan untuk mengefektifkan materi uji yang akan divalidasi. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dari Maret sampai September 2022 dapat berjalan dengan lancar dan mencapai tujuan menyusun lima materi uji kompetensi baru. Selain itu, pemahaman proses validasi materi uji kompetensi yang meningkat dapat mendukung proses telaah materi uji kompetensi yang telah disusun agar lebih berkualitas. Kegiatan yang sama dapat memperhatikan penggunaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi secara ekstensif untuk memudahkan proses kerja sekaligus pendampingan secara intensi.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the concept of integrating science and religion within the philosophy of Islamic education and to examine its relevance and implications for the development of Islamic education in the digital and global era. The research employs a library research method with a descriptive-analytical approach through critical review of scholarly books, journal articles, and relevant empirical studies. The findings reveal that the integration of science and religion serves as an essential epistemological paradigm capable of constructing a holistic Islamic education oriented toward the formation of insan kamil. The study highlights that integrative education significantly strengthens students’ religious character, critical thinking skills, and academic competitiveness, while responding effectively to moral crises and dehumanization generated by modernity and digital disruption.

Abstract

Berbeda dengan perbankan konvensional yang hanya mengandalkan bunga, perbankan syariah ini menerapkan sistem bagi hasil dalam operasionalnya. Pertumbuhan bank syariah semakin signifikan setelah penggabungan tiga bank syariah (BNI Syariah, Bank Syariah Mandiri, dan BRI Syariah) menjadi Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI). Namun, bank syariah masih kalah bersaing dengan perbankan konvensional dalam hal efisiensi, terutama dalam kondisi ekonomi yang kurang stabil. Maka, perlu diteliti apakah ini meningkatkan minat remaja untuk menabung di Bank Syariah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi minat remaja di Lamongan terhadap Perbankan Syariah. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui Google Form dari remaja berusia 19-22 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa remaja di Lamongan lebih memilih Bank Konvensional karena beberapa faktor, seperti rekomendasi dari orang terdekat, lokasi yang lebih mudah untuk dijangkau karena lebih banyak cabang dan layanan digital yang lebih baik sehingga membuat lebih mudah di akses para remaja di Lamongan dan Bank Konvensional lebih banyak memiliki penawaran produk dan layanan.

Abstract

The PGOT Mardi Utomo Social Service Center is a social rehabilitation institution for beggars, homeless people, and abandoned people that focuses on increasing independence through skills training, but still faces obstacles such as low motivation of inmates, limited facilities, lack of understanding of business management, and inaccurate calculation of cost of goods produced (HPP). This community service activity aims to improve the skills of inmates through mentoring in making pukis cakes and training in calculating HPP as the basis for a simple culinary business. The implementation method includes needs identification, technical training, learning the concept of HPP, entrepreneurial motivation, production practice, and evaluation. The results of the activity show a significant increase in pukis cake production skills and the ability of inmates to calculate HPP independently to determine a rational selling price. This program also increases entrepreneurial motivation and opens up opportunities for economic independence, making it effective as a model for sustainable social empowerment.

Abstract

Indonesian education faces challenges of globalization, radicalism, and the shallowing of local identity. Multicultural Islamic education offers a solution by integrating tolerance, moderation, and cultural values. This study explores how Syi’ir Ngudi Susilo, a Javanese religious poem, can serve as social capital for multicultural Islamic education through glocalization. The Research employed a qualitative design combining library Research and fieldwork. The Research used critical discourse analysis based on Norman Fairclough’s approach, while ethnographic methods were applied to observe teaching practices in Lamongan, Gresik, and Bojonegoro. Findings reveal that Ngudi Susilo promotes moral discipline, respect for parents and teachers, and cultural pride. Its rhythmic and mnemonic style enhances student engagement and retention. Field data confirm its integration in extracurricular and religious learning, strengthening tolerance and multicultural awareness. Ngudi Susilo represents an effective glocalized educational model, fostering cultural identity while promoting moderation and inclusivity in Islamic education. Overall, this Research seeks to enhance education by exploring the theme of glocalization as a response to technological advancements, incorporating local wisdom found in Syiir Ngudi Susilo.

Abstract

This study was conducted to gain an understanding of the nature of human beings from the perspective of Islamic education. The purpose of this study was to describe the concept of human beings in the Qur'an, the process of their creation, and its implications for Islamic education. This study used a literature review method by examining relevant books, scientific articles, and Qur'anic interpretations. The results of the study show that humans in the Qur'an are described through various terms, such as al-Basyar, al-Insan, al-Nas, and bani Adam. In addition, the process of human creation is explained through systematic stages that demonstrate the perfection of Allah SWT's creation. This study concludes that Islamic education must integrate the aspects of divinity, humanity, and leadership in order to shape humans with character, piety, and responsibility as servants and caliphs on earth.
