Abstract

Based on the observations in class III SDN Air Dingin, found the intensive reading skill of third grade students low. For that, it needs improvement to help students in reading intensively with the correct reading stage. This study aims to describe the process and the results of intensive reading skills and character of third grade students. The type of research is Classroom Action Research using cooperative learning model of CIRC type. Based on the results of the research, the use of cooperative learning model of CIRC type in intensive reading skill learning has proven to improve the process of intensive reading skill and student character. The increase in the average learning outcomes is, in the first cycle at the pre reading stage of 71.87%, the stage when reading 59.37%, 76.37% post reading stage and characteristic scoring 69.75%, confident 60.95% and well mannered 71.17%. In the second cycle, the students' intensive reading skill increased to 84.37% pre reading, reading 78.12% and post reading 83.12% and characteristic meticulous assessment 74.27%, 78.32% confident and 76.25% polite. Intensive reading using the CIRC approach has been shown to improve students' reading and character skills.

Abstract

The implementation of learning objectives cannot be separated from certain aspects, one of which is the aspect of learning media, including interactive multimedia, which is very suitable for learning in the current technological era. However, the implementation in the field related to the use of interactive multimedia in learning has not been optimal, including the lack of optimal use of interactive multimedia based on computer applications, even though the facilities and infrastructure are adequate. This research aims to develop interactive multimedia based on Macromedia Flash 8 for integrated thematic learning in practical elementary schools. This type of research is R&D using the 4-D model consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were the fifth-grade students at SDN 32 Bungo Pasang, SDN 45 Bungo Pasang, and SDN 51 Bungo Pasang, Koto Tangah District, Padang City, totaling 62 students. The research data collection instrument was through practicality sheets, namely the educator's response questionnaire and the student's response questionnaire. The results showed that the practicality level of interactive multimedia was obtained with the teacher's response value of 95.56% in the "very practical" category and the student's response was 91.36% in the "very practical" category. Thus, the development of interactive multimedia based on Macromedia Flash 8 in elementary school integrated thematic learning is practically used in classroom learning. Terlaksananya tujuan pembelajaran tidak lepas dari aspek-aspek tertentu salah satunya ialah aspek media pembelajaran diantaranya multimedia interaktif yang sangat cocok diterapkan pada pembelajaran di era teknologi saat ini. Namun, pelaksanaan dilapangan terkait penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran belum optimal diantaranya masih kurangnya pemanfaatan multimedia interaktif berbasis aplikasi komputer secara optimal padahal sarana dan prasarana memadai. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan multimedia interaktif berbasis macromedia flash 8 pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu sekolah dasar yang praktis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah R&D dengan menggunakan model 4-D terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu, define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Subjek Penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SDN 32 Bungo Pasang, SDN 45 Bungo Pasang dan SDN 51 Bungo Pasang Kecamatan Koto Tangah Kota Padang berjumlah 62 orang peserta didik. Instrumen pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah melalui lembar praktikalitas yaitu angket respon pendidik dan angket respon peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, diperoleh hasil tingkat kepraktisan multimedia interaktif dengan nilai respon pendidik yaitu 95,56% pada kategori “sangat praktis” dan respon peserta didik yaitu 91,36% pada kategori “sangat praktis”. Dengan demikian, pengembangan multimedia interaktif berbasis macromedia flash 8 pada pembelajaran tematik terpadu sekolah dasar praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

This article was written to describe the relationship between vocabulary mastery and student’s reading comprehension. This research type is correlation research by using quantitative approach. there are two data to be processed. First, vocabulary mastery. Second, reading comprehension. The design used in this study is the design korelasinal with a population of all students class III which amounted to 162 people. Sampling method used is Cluster Random Sampling which amounted to 52 people. to test the hypothesis of this study using t test statistic with 5% level of significance (0.05). The result of this research is first, the mastery of vocabulary of learners is in sufficient qualification (66,63). Second, students' reading comprehension ability is in good qualification (75,57). Third, there is a significant relationship between vocabulary mastery and reading comprehension ability on n-2 degrees of freedom and significance level of 0.05 research results prove that tcount is bigger than ttable that is 11,090> 2,009.Keywords: Relationship vocabulary, reading comprehension, student

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in student learning results on thematic Integrated Learning Model using Problem Based Learning in class IV SDN 14 Gadut Tilatang Kamang. This research used a qualitative and quantitative approach. This type of research i.e. Research Action class (PTK). The subject of research is the grade IV SDN 14 Gadut Tilatang Kamang.  Feed as many as 20 students. Research conducted two cycles. The design of the research include, (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) and (4) observation of the reflection. The results showed an increase in: a) the RPP cycle I 85,93%  (SB) Cycle II 93,75% (SB) b) implementation on aspect of teacher cycle I 84,71% (SB), a cycle II 96,42% (SB) c) Implementation on aspect students cycle I 85.71% (B) and Cycle II 96,42% (SB) d) student learning outcomes Cycle I 75,46 (B), cycle II 87 (A). Thus the model of Problem Based Learning can improve the learning results of integrated thematic grade IV SDN 14 Gadut Tilatang Kamang.

Abstract

This research was intended to describe the improvement of the integrated thematic learning process by using by using the Discovery Learning model with the rich theme always save energy  Negeri 13 Bukit Apit Puhun Kec. Guguk Panjang Bukittinggi City. The approach used in this Classroom Action Research is a qualitative and quantitative approach implemented in two cycles. The subjects of this study were teachers and 36 students of grade IV SDN 13 Bukit Apit Puhun Kec. Guguk Panjang Bukittinggi City. The results showed that in the first cycle the average RPP score was 60,10% (good), the average teacher aspect was 65,62% (good), the average student aspect was 65,62% (good), the students' Aspects of attitude, knowledge, and skills with an average of 72.07 with a conversion value of 3.16 (B +). In the second cycle the average RPP assessment is 88,85% (very good), the average teacher aspect is 89,02% (very good), the average student aspect is 89,02% (very good), the students' Attitude, knowledge, and average skills 80,54 with conversion value of 3.41 (B +). From the results of the study can be concluded that by using the model of Discovery Learning can improve the integrated thematic learning process in class IV SD Negeri 13 Bukit Apit Puhun  Bukittinggi

Abstract

The study at the background is that  integrated thematic learning has not been  appropriate. The research was intended to demonstrate increased results of integrated studies of thematic with the Model problem based learning  at country’s fourth grade elementary school 06 Padang Besi Kota Padang. His type of research is a class action study using qualitative and quantitative  approaches. The subject in this study is the teacher (researcher) and student of 28.  Research is conducted in two cycles. The Results of cycle research on RPP 76,79% (B), increased from cycles to 92.85% (SB). Cycle 2 at teacher of the activity averages 80.35% (B), increasing in cycle 2 to 96.42% (SB). Implementation of the 2 cycle on student's average 76.79% (b), increased in 2 cycle to 96.42% (sb). Students' study results, on the I average cycle 60,34 (C), increased in 2 cycle to 88.85 (B). So it can be concluded that the model of the problem based based according to (PBL) can increase student teaching results Integrated tennis lessons in elementary school,

Abstract

Rendahya aktivitas belajar siswa dalam proses pembelajaran matematika disekolah dasar mendasari Penelitian ini. Penelitian bertujuan mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran matematika menggunakan metode pemecahan masalah serta merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. 13 siswa terlibat dalam penelitian. Hasilnya ditemukan peningkatan dari 59,65 pada siklus 1 menjadi 84,99 pada siklus 2. Temuan ini manunjukan aktivitas belajar siswa sekolah dasar pada pembelajaran matematika dapat ditingkatkan melalui metode pemecahan masalah. Temuan ini dapat jadi referensi bagi guru dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the emergence of problems experienced by teachers in using the open-ended approach in learning mathematics in elementary schools. This study aims to describe the obstacles faced by teachers in implementing mathematics learning using an open-ended approach in class, as well as provide solutions that can be done as an effort to overcome the obstacles encountered. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman data analysis technique which goes through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. This research was conducted at SDN 13 Parit Putus, Ampek Angkek District, Agam Regency. The results showed the problems experienced by teachers in using the open-ended approach in learning mathematics in elementary schools

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan menganalisis peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPS di SD Negeri 54 Payakumbuh, Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mengunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yeng terdiri dari dua siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari; perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan April 2019. Data diolah pada setiap siklus kemudian dianalisis menggunakan persentase. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Saintifik, model Discovery Learning, metode diskusi kelompok, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Ini terbukti dari Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas pada siklus I adalah 52%, sedangkan pada siklus II yaitu 81.82%, dalam hal ini terjadi peningkatan sebesar 29.82%. Sedangkan untuk hasil belajar hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada siklus I rata-rata hasil belajar peserta didik adalah 74.60 sedangkan pada siklus II adalah 92.80 (kategori sangat baik) dan terjadi peningkatan 18%. Sementara ketuntasan peserta didik pada siklus I sebesar 68% mengalami peningkatan menjadi 88% (dikategorikan sangat baik). Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan pendekatan saintifik model discovery learning melalui metode diskusi kelompok dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan sebuah media pembelajaran interaktif yang dapat menunjang proses pembelajaran peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV dan dilaksanakan di dua sekolah yakni SDN 12 Cubadak Mentawai dan SDN 04 Kajai. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan tahap define, design, develop dan disseminate. Jumlah keseluruhan hasil validasi dalam kategori sangat valid. Dari hasil angket keterlaksanaan RPP diketahui bahwa persentase rata-ratanya adalah  87,5%, hasil angket respon guru diketahui bahwa persentase rata-rata tanggapan guru terhadap RPP, bahan ajar, dan LKS  yang digunakan adalah  87,5%, hasil angket respon siswa dengan persentase praktikalitas untuk bahan ajar dan LKS adalah 87% dan 85% yang berada pada kategori sangat praktis. Hasil Efektivitas pengembangan media pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa perangkat ini memiliki kriteria sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan pencapai hasil belajar siswa dan keterampilan belajar siswa. Hasil belajar siswa pada kompetensi pengetahuan menunjukkan tingkat ketuntasan dengan persentase ketuntasan 80%. Selanjutnya Penilaian sikap siswa berada pada kategori mulai berkembang dengan nilai rata-rata adalah 58,73% dan penilaian keterampilan siswa yang  berkisar antara 72.76,2 % s/d 78.67 % dan  semua aspek mendapatkan nilai rata-rata  75.3 % dengan kategori sangat efektif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran interaktif yang dikembangkan di Sekolah Dasar dinyatakan sangat valid, praktis, dan efektif
