Abstract

The competence of reading the holy book correctly and adequately is the obligation of every religious person. Ironically, many Muslim students do not have adequate skills in reading the Qur'an. Therefore, Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) launched a campaign to be free of Qur'an illiteracy for its students. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, evaluation, and effectiveness of Qur'an learning at UM and the correlation of Arabic language skills to the ability to read the al-Qur'an. The method used is a mixed-method with an exploratory sequential design. The quantitative data analysis technique used normality test, Wilcoxon signed ranks, d-effect size, and calculation of N-gain value. The results of the study are as follows: (1) learning planning is carried out in a centralized and detailed manner; (2) the implementation of learning adapts to class groupings, and learning steps specified in the Qur'an Reading Guidance curriculum; (3) evaluation of learning is carried out using tashih techniques, post-test, and assessment of learning attitudes; (4) learning effectiveness is in the high category, which is indicated by the d-effect size value of 0.76, and (5) Arabic language ability is found to have a significant correlation with the ability to read the Qur'an. In general, UM is considered successful in reducing the level of Qur'an illiteracy among students.

Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan sejalan dengan penerapan sistem pembelajaran online dengan penerapan pendekatan heutagogical. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan pendekatan heutagogi dengan prinsip self-efficacy, self-determination, self-directed, dan self-regulated dalam proses pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen kuesioner online berupa link googleform. Mahasiswa pascasarjana program magister Fakultas Sastra Universitas Negeri Malang telah menerapkan prinsip-prinsip pendekatan pembelajaran heutagogi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 93,60% responden menggunakan media sosial sebagai jejaring pembelajaran. Sikap ini merupakan salah satu bentuk self-determination principle dan merupakan sikap yang paling banyak diterapkan oleh siswa. Pembelajaran mandiri diimplementasikan pada sikap menentukan strategi belajar untuk diri sendiri yaitu sebanyak 88,90%. Sebanyak 87% responden juga menyatakan bahwa mereka menentukan tujuan pembelajarannya (self-regulated), sedangkan yang paling sedikit dilaksanakan (24,10%) adalah prinsip self-efficacy. Sikap ini berkaitan dengan rasa percaya diri siswa yang merasa kemampuan belajarnya tidak lebih baik dari teman sekelasnya. Selain itu, hanya setengah dari responden (50%) siswa yang menyatakan paham dengan materi yang diberikan dalam pembelajaran daring. Kesimpulannya, prinsip-prinsip yang telah diterapkan dengan baik adalah self-directed, self-determination, dan self-regulated learning, namun pembelajar perlu mengembangkan self-efficacy, terkait kepercayaan dirinya dalam mengikuti pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Indonesia is facing the digitalization era. It is making it possible to see opportunities for digitalization trends in the social, religious, and humanities. Not many are aware of this aspect which also influences the development and changes that occur in social, religious, and national life. From year to year, aspects of technology and humanities social interactions have increasingly important influences. This research is based on data, qualitative research approaches, and methods supported by digital or internet documentation sources. The essence of this research discussion is about how the social digitization trend of religion and humanities, especially in the discourse of religious moderation, Pancasila, and civic education. What is the impact of digitalization on the behavior of the community (netizens) in supporting the creation of good life order? Found several facts that cannot underestimate digital trends in the social humanities field. His contribution is extraordinary in influencing the behavior and knowledge of the people in Indonesia. Its impact is also felt in social innovation, humanities, and civic education today and in the future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan rancangan pengajaran, strategi pendidikan, dan penerapan metode Bahtsul Masail di Pondok Pesantren Lirboyo sebagai bagian dari upaya menanamkan pendidikan fikih lintas mazhab. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam bentuk penelitian studi lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan melalui studi kepustakaan dan studi lapangan yang meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) desain pengajaran fikih antarmadzhab di pondok pesantren Lirboyo dengan metode bahtsul masail serta pengajaran fikih dan ushul al-fiqh lintas mazhab di pondok pesantren Lirboyo berimplikasi pada pemahaman keagamaan dengan kognitif ekspansi dan fleksibilitas kognitif lintas mazhab serta proses penggalian dan perumusan hukum dalam penalaran fikih antroposentris dan penalaran fikih transformatif-emansipatif bermuara pada kemaslahatan, kearifan, dan moderasi dalam beragama; 2) strategi pengajaran fikih dan ushul al-fiqh lintas mazhab di Pondok Pesantren Lirboyo Kediri dilakukan dengan dua cara yaitu metode mazhab qawly intiqadi dan mazhab manhaji, yaitu melakukan istinbat dengan mengikuti apa yang telah dirumuskan oleh para ulama mazhab; dan 3) penerapan metode bahtsul masail di pondok pesantren Lirboyo dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok yaitu forum bahstul masail internal, forum bahstul masail pondok pesantren Lirboyo dan forum bahsul masail yang diselenggarakan oleh pesantren lain.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of this research is to identify the implementation and the result of SQ3R method in Arabic learning to improve the reading skill of XI 2 students of MA Mambaul Ulum. This research applies Classroom Action Research (CAR) that uses qualitative descriptive approaches. Based on cycle I, it appears that students’ reading skill improves to 44% with the average of 60.05 from 38.8% with the average of 49.00 in the early observation stage. In cycle II, students’ reading skill improves significantly at 27.8% from cycle I. The result of the research shows that the implementation of SQ3R Method in learning Arabic has improved students’ reading skill. Keywords: Arabic, reading, SQ3R method Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan serta hasil belajar metode SQ3R pada pembelajaran bahasa Arab untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa Kelas XI 2 MA Mambaul Ulum. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan siklus I, diketahui bahwa kemampuan membaca siswa meningkat menjadi 44% dengan rata-rata 60,05 dari data nilai observasi awal yang hanya 38,8% dengan rata-rata 49,00. Pada siklus II, kemampuan membaca siswa mengalami peningkatan signifikan, yakni 27,8% siklus I. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode SQ3R dalam pembelajaran bahasa arab dapat meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Kata kunci: bahasa Arab, membaca, metode SQ3R

Abstract

Listrik memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan suatu teknologi, karena penggunaan listrik sudah sangat luas, hampir mencakup ke segala bidang dan sangat erat pula kaitannya dengan aktivitas manusia dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan serta dalam berbagai kegiatan sehari-hari yang juga merupakan salah satu kebutuhan masyarakat banyak maupun individu. MTS Riyadlus Sholihin sendiri tentunya membutuhkan listrik untuk keperluan belajar dan mengajar. Terutama pada era digital sekarang, sudah banyak ujian-ujian sekolah yang diadakan secara online. Kendala yang sering dihadapi adalah sering terjadinya pemadaman listrik pada daerah tersebut. Salah satu solusi yang bisa dipakai adalah dengan menggunakan solar panel sebagai sumber energi listrik pada MTS Riyadlus Sholihin. Teknologi yang diterapkan mampu mengurangi beban tagihan listrik MTS melalui penggunaan energi alternatif (energi surya). Teknologi tersebut juga memberikan manfaat lain seperti memberikan edukasi tentang energi surya dan meningkatkan kesadaran pentingnya menggunakan energi terbaharukan.

Abstract

It must be admitted that there is indeed much research related to religious moderation, but there needs to be more research, especially when it comes to intellectual history discourse. As a contextual discourse, intellectual history still needs sufficient study space among Indonesian academics. Therefore, this study uses an intellectual history perspective to examine religious moderation discourse. Strengthening the study, the authors use the thoughts of Koentjaraningrat and Julian Huxley, who use an anthropological scientific lens to view the discourse of religious moderation. This research is the form of a literature review using the results of research related to intellectual history and the two figures as primary reference sources. Collecting data was carried out by re-reading the text, compiling it, and formulating it to analyze the mentifact, sociofact, and artefact aspects of the discourse of religious moderation. This research produces an academic offer to strengthen the epistemological structure of the discourse of religious moderation by dissecting it through these three dimensions, namely mentifact, sociofact, and artefact. The findings of this research offer the hierarchical relationship on the epistemological of religious moderation (the high ideas, the intermediate ideas, and the lower ideas).

Abstract

The concept of Ahlu sunnah wal jamaah (Aswaja) remains a subject of frequent debate. This article endeavors to provide a comprehensive exploration of the Aswaja concept through the perspective of the archipelago scholar, K. Abu Fadlol As-Senori, a disciple of KH. Hashim Ash`ari, the founder of the Nahdlatul Ulama. This article also strives to establish a connection between the concept of Aswaja as it is found and the Aswaja concept of KH. Hashim Ash`ari. This research is a descriptive-qualitative study. This study revealed that Aswaja, as defined by K. Abul Fadlol, encompasses four distinct groups: (1) the Muhadditsin, (2) the Sufiyyah (3) the Ash'ariyah and (4) Maturidiyah. As a student of KH. Hashim Ash`ari, the Aswaja concept of K. Abul Fadlol has a very big aspect of similarity. The concept of Aswaja from both becomes the foundation for building moderation in religion. Both also reject hardline Islamists who claim to be Aswaja

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk media kartu berbasis Quick Response Code (QR Code) sebagai pengenalan bunyi dasar huruf hijaiyah untuk siswa pemula di TPQ Al-Ishlah dan menjelaskan kelayakan produk hasil pengembangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Produk yang dikembangkan divali­dasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, guru TPQ Al-Ishlah dan sebagian siswa TPQ Al-Ishlah. Jenis data penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengisian angket dan wawancara. Hasil pengembangan ini berupa 30 kartu huruf hijaiyah berharakat dan tidak berharakat yang dilengkapi dengan QR Code yang terhubung dengan video bunyi dasar huruf hijaiyah. Hasil validasi media mendapatan hasil 70,67 persen (valid) dan validasi materi sebesar 100 persen (sangat valid). Tingkat kelayakan media oleh guru TPQ Al-Ishlah dan mendapatkan hasil 95 persen (sangat layak) sehingga media kartu berbasis QR Code yang dikembangkan valid dan layak untuk digunakan. Kata kunci: Hijaiyah; kartu; media pembelajaran; QR Code; TPQ Quick Response Code (QR Code)-based Card Media for Basic Recognition of Hijaiyah Letter Sounds This research aims to create a media card-based by using quick response code (QR Code) as the introduction of the hijaiyah root sound for new students on TPQ Al- Ishlah and to explain the producability of development. This study used an ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The products developed were tested by the media experts, materials experts, TPQ Al-Ishlah teachers, and some students of TPQ Al-Ishlah. This type of research data is quantitative and qualitative. The data collection technique was done by distributing questionnaires and conducting several interviews. As the result, this result produced a total of 30 off-count hijaiyah alphabets with QR Code that have been linked to the hijaiyah base sound video. Media validation resulted 70.67 percent which categorized as valid and 100 percent which categorized as highly valid. The level of appropriateness of this media by TPQ Al-Ishlah teachers resulting 95 percent (very appropriate). THis implied that this QR Code card-based media is valid and usable. Abstract

The ideology of Brunei Darussalam contributes in shaping the [Islamic] Education system. Politically, Brunei applies the concept of Malay, Islam, Beraja (MIB) as an ideological basis. This research is oriented to two main discussions. First is the historical trajectory of MIB in Brunei and its relation to the education system. The second is the dimension of educational philosophy and Islamic education philosophy in Brunei by drawing its relation to the MIB. This research uses a qualitative-naturalistic approach. This research was conducted in Brunei, October 2019. Data was collected through interviews, focus group discussions (FGD), observation, document and literature studies. In data collection, this research involved academics from Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU) and Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University (UNISSA). The findings show that the MIB is related to the model perennialism and progressivism. However, from Islamic education philosophy, MIB gives a traditionalist style to the mazhabi and modernist education system.
