Abstract

Bahan ajar memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini disebabkan bahan ajar digunakan sebagai penunjang dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar yang tersusun secara sistematis. Bahan ajar dalam penelitian ini memanfaatkan kearifan lokal masyarakat Bondowoso yang dibentuk dalam sebuah cerita pada setiap unit. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan kearifan lokal Bondowoso sebagai pengembangan bahan ajar menulis cerita fantasi untuk siswa kelas SMP. Fokus penelitian ini adalah bentuk pemanfaatan kearifan lokal dalam bahan ajar menulis cerita fantasi untuk siswa SMP. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis isi. Data penelitian ini berupa kalimat yang terdapat pada bahan ajar menulis cerita fantasi. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahan ajar menulis cerita fantasi berjudul menoreh imajinasi dalam fantasi. Adapun pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan, pemanfaatan kearifan lokal dalam bahan ajar menulis cerita fantasi untuk siswa SMP hanya ditemukan satu jenis kearifan lokal saja, yaitu kearifan lokal berwujud nyata (tangible). Kearifan lokal berwujud nyata tersebut ditemukan pada bab 1, 2 dan 3. Kearifan lokal berwujud nyata yang ditemukan berupa cagar budaya, bangunan, dan karya seni tradisional yang masih dijaga eksistensinya di Bondowoso. Pada bahan ajar tersebut tidak ditemukan jenis kearifan lokal yang tidak berwujud (intangible).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya perbedaan bahasa ibu atau bahasa pertama pada siswa SMP BSS. Hal tersebut, menyebabkan keterampilan berbahasa secara tulis setiap siswa kelas VII dan VIII SMP BSS berbeda-beda. Kemampuan keterampilan berbahasa secara tulis siswa SMP BSS terlihat kurang mampu produksi tulisan dengan minimal tepat penggunaan tanda baca dan kurang mampu memproduksi kalimat transformasi dengan tepat sehingga bahasa tulis siswa SMP BSS kelas VII dan VIII masih tercampur dengan bahasa lisan yang ditemukan dalam karangan siswa. Dengan begitu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penggunaan pola kalimat transformasi yang telah dan belum dikuasai anak pada kelas VII & VIII SMP BSS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas VII dan VIII SMP BSS. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan adalah crosssectional. Hasil karangan siswa-siswi kemudian dianalisis dengan mengklasifikasikan kalimat transformasi secara umum. Kemudian, dikategorikan menjadi kalimat transformasi sematan. Hasil menunjukan bahwa terdapat empat jenis kalimat transformasi sematan, yakni klausa relatif, pelengkap frasa nomina, pelengkap frasa adjektiva, dan pelengkap frasa verba. Karakteristik kalimat transformasi semataan yang sering dijumpai dalam karangan siswa kelas VII dan VII SMP BSS meliputi S+yang, P (FV Intrans/Trans wajib pelengkap + untuk), S+sangat, dan P (FV) + b. berdasarkan penelitian ini, peneliti berharap penelitian ini dapat menjadi refrensi bagi peneliti dengan topik sejenis dan hasil penelitian ini dapat dikembangkan menjadi bahan ajar dan dikembangkan dalam media pembelejaran bagi guru bahasa Indonesia.

Abstract

AbstrakProses Kreatif Penulisan Novel Cerita dari Lereng Gunung Prau Berdasarkan Cerita Rakyat di Ngluyu bertujuan untuk membahas tentang proses kreatif dalam menulis sebuah novel berdasarkan cerita rakyat di suatu daerah. Penciptaan karya ini dengan menggunakan metode proses kreatif. Jenis penciptaannya adalah penciptaan novel dengan alur dan plot yang longgar, jaringan-jaringan tematiknya pada karakter di dalam cerita. Pengumpulan informasi pada penulisan ini menggunakan teknik wawancara terstruktur dengan beberapa narasumber. Hasil wawancara tersebut dikumpulkan menjadi satu cerita rakyat yang utuh, kemudian oleh penulis diubah menjadi novel dalam buku Cerita dari Lereng Gunung Prau. Manfaat dari menciptakan karya ini adalah penulis membuat buku sebagai sumber bacaan generasi muda dalam pelestarian budaya daerah.

Abstract

Metafora warna adalah gaya bahasa yang membuat perbandingan warna dengan objek sekitarnya yang memiliki sifat berbeda sebagai jembatan imajinasi penyair dan pembaca. Metafora ini dapat ditemukan dalam buku Tonggak: Antologi Puisi Indonesia Modern yang disusun oleh Linus Suryadi AG. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan jenis metafora warna dan alasan penyair dalam pemilihan warna dalam buku Tonggak. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan stilistika. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah buku Tonggak 1, 2, dan 3. Penelitian ini menghasilkan jenis-jenis metafora warna terkandung dalam buku Tonggak: Antologi Puisi Indonesia Modern tafsir makna dalam memilih warna dalam puisi.  Metafora warna yang digunakan dalam buku Tonggak: Antologi Puisi Indonesia Modern jilid 1, 2, dan 3 menggunakan warna seperti (1) merah, (2) jingga, (3) kuning, (4) biru, (5) hijau, (6) hitam, (7) putih, (8) cokelat, dan (9) ungu.

Abstract

Teaching materials for daily communication purposes are needed by BIPA students at the beginner level so they can establish social contact and communicate with native speakers. The development model in this study is the 4D development model. Daily communication material focuses on the use of formal and informal language as a tool for verbal communication. Based on the validation test that has been carried out for the total results of BIPA material expert validation of 67.5%. Practitioners 67.1%, and 79.1% graphic experts. Therefore, this teaching material is quite feasible to use.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the level of syntax errors that include aspects of phrases and sentences on writing personal experience grade X SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL Stella Gratia Atambua. This research uses qualitative research designs with the kind of descriptive research. The results of this study indicate that many students make a mistake on a sentence structure that covers ten aspects. These findings prove that students pay attention to the use of grammar in writing, lack of vocabulary which belonged to the students, the influence of the use of local languages, and teachers less use of grammar in writing.

Abstract

Studies to inculcate new values for students, including foreign learners, are necessary, given the high incidence of injustice and bullying. The inculcation of these values in Indonesian language learning for foreign learners (BIPA) is closely related to the cultural learning of Indonesian people who love peace. This study aimed to reveal the discursive practice of embedding values in BIPA textbooks. The data sources were the BIPA textbook published in 2019 by the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture for advanced levels. This study used Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) and Visual Grammar Theory (VGT) to analyze the data. This study found three categories of values related to self, social relations, and environment. Values about caring for society, the environment, and democracy dominated the BIPA textbook. The textbook ignored the discursive practice of instilling inner value. This finding significantly contributes to the authors of language textbooks for foreign learners to consider cultural values that lead to developing more comprehensive subject matter. In addition, these findings also make it clear that foreign language teachers do not teach their language but also need to emphasize learning about values that support students' communicative competence.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the publication trend and research contribution related to character education in Indonesian high school textbooks based on the Merdeka Curriculum from 2015 to 2024. Character education is crucial for student development, and textbooks play a central role. Using bibliometric analysis, the study identified 428 publications from Google Scholar and Scopus, including journal articles, proceedings, reviews, and books. Journal articles dominated with 363 publications, followed by 30 proceedings, 32 books, and three reviews. The study focused on the number of publications and the issues underlying the keyword emergence. While 2023 had the highest number of publications (75), 2018 saw the highest citations (890) and h-index (14), indicating significant influence. The highly cited study "Strategy and Implementation of Character Education in Senior High Schools and Vocational High Schools" had 135 citations. Keyword analysis using VOSviewer revealed that "Indonesian textbook" was the most popular topic, particularly concerning gender representation and basic education. Despite increased productivity, recent publications need higher impact, achievable through improved research quality, appropriate journal selection, online dissemination, collaboration, and scientific community engagement. The focus on gender representation and basic education should be sharpened for inclusive teaching materials and to instill positive values early in Indonesian education. This study provides valuable insights and direction for future research and practice in character education within the Independent Curriculum framework.

Abstract

Teaching materials that suit students' needs can help them increase their motivation to learn. These teaching materials can also be developed using appropriate methods by considering the learning objectives and skills. One of the methods that can be used in learning to write is the DTMT method. The DTMT method, which stand for (Dari Teks Menuju Teks or From Text to Text) is used to support the structured development of writing skills. In the early stages of product development, it is necessary to conduct a needs analysis to support the development of teaching materials for writing exposition texts using the DTMT method. The needs analysis in this study is part of the development research with the ADDIE model. The research method used in this research is the survey method. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and document analysis. In this research, the data obtained is qualitative. The qualitative data was then analyzed descriptively. The analysis showed that Indonesian language teachers in three schools, SMA PGRI Lumajang, SMAN 1 Kunir, and SMA Muhammadiyah Lumajang need companion books in learning to write, especially on exposition texts. Students can use the companion teaching materials to practice writing exposition texts gradually with a good and structured process. The results showed that (1) the primary teaching materials used by teachers and students have not focused on writing skills, especially writing exposition texts, and (2) companion teaching materials are needed for learning to write exposition texts. This research is expected to be useful for teachers in teaching writing skills and for students. It can be a companion book to improve exposition text writing skills.

Abstract

This research focuses on two songs by Wahyu F. Giri, "Lamunan" and "Lestari," which are popular on various music platforms. The study aims to explore the communication strategies used to convey educational messages in the song lyrics. Employing a pragmatic approach, the research analyzes the lyrics through observation and qualitative methods. The findings reveal that "Lamunan" delivers messages of loyalty, patience, love, and self-reflection, while "Lestari" emphasizes natural beauty, eternal love, loyalty, and tranquility. The communication strategies identified include repetition, audience recognition, factual delivery, and persuasion. These strategies enhance the songs' appeal and effectively impart educational values. Beyond their musicality, the songs teach listeners to appreciate relationships, the beauty of nature, and the pursuit of happiness. This study highlights how music can serve as a medium for education, embedding important values within engaging and emotionally resonant content, making it both enjoyable and meaningful for listeners.
