Abstract

The research aims to develop the curriculum of the Higher Education Curriculum, specifically Islamic religion, referring to the Indonesian National Qualification Framework (KKNI). The problem raised in this research is the redesign of the curriculum in Indonesia, especially the formation of new courses such as the neuroscience of Islamic education and anti-corruption education, which have not considered the breadth of study material and calculation semester credit units that are not accountable. This research was conducted in three stages: curriculum analysis, curriculum matrix design, and curriculum matrix experimentation. The research subjects involved 133 lecturers in the Higher Education Institutions of Religion, both Islamic, Catholic, and Hindu in Indonesia. The findings indicate that the developed matrix design can be used as an integrative tool for forming subjects and calculating semester credit unit weights in a mathematical and accountable manner, and accommodating the development of Islamic education, particularly neuroscience and anti-corruption education. This matrix can complement Kim's research on syllabus ontology identification and lesson study innovation developed by E. Purwaningsih and D. Nurhadi.

Abstract

The study aims at describing the teacher performance in the Natural History Learning Process for the Elementary School Degree throughout the Province of Yogyakarta Special Region from the four competencies namely personality competency, professionalism competency, pedagogy competence and social competency based on the self-assessment, the principal assessment, the peer assessment, the student assessment and the observation toward the learning process after the certification. The nature of the study is an evaluative study using the descriptive quantitative approach. The study itself was conducted in both the Public Elementary Schools and the Private Elementary Schools throughout the Province of Yogyakarta Special Regions. The subjects of the study were the teachers who had been teaching Natural History in both schools who had passed the certification test in 2007 and 2008 and who had also been receiving the certification allowance. During the conduct of the study, the data gathering instruments that had been implemented were questionnaire, observation sheet and documentation. On the other hand, the data analysis technique that had been adopted was descriptive statistical analysis with percentage. Then, the results of the study show that the post-certification performance of Natural History teachers have been “Very Good” based on the personality, professionalism, pedagogy and social competency and also based on the results of the self-assessment, the principal assessment and the peer assessment. The details on the results of the post-certification teacher performance in this regard might be elaborated as follows: (1) personality competence 96.70%; (2) professionalism competence 76.40%; (3) pedagogy competence 83.30%; and (4) social competence 88.90%. Furthermore, the results of the student assessment assert that the post-certification of Natural History teachers belongs to the “Very Good” category with the assessment rate of 96.70%. Last but not the least, the results of the observation toward the teacher learning process also belong to the “Very Good” category with the following details: (1) pre-learning activities 93.30%; (2) core activities 93.30%; and (3) closing activities 73.30%.

Abstract

Pesantrenisasi merupakan program yang diinisiasi oleh Universitas Islam Indonesia dalam rangka peningkatan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di perguruan tinggi. Revitalisasi Program ini dimodifikasi dengan pola pembelajaran intensif dalam mewujudkan mahasiswa sebagai insan ulil albab yakni mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan untuk menyeimbangkan ilmu pengetahuan umum dan ilmu pengetahuan agama. Hanya saja upaya ini harus diuji kembali karena program pesantrenisasi membutuhkan perbaikan agar berdampak pada kehidupan mahasiswa. Penelitian ini sendiri menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif (mix method). Pendekatan kualitatif dilakukan dengan mentelaah sumber pustaka, dokumentasi, observasi kegiatan pesantrenisasi dan wawancara dengan mahasiswa, musyrif/musyrifah dan dosen Pendidikan Agama Islam. Pendekatan kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner dengan teknik random sampling yakni sebesar 60 responden untuk diolah dengan pendekatan regresi linier melalui perangkat SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh program pesantrenisasi terhadap motivasi hidup Islami mahasiswa yakni 0,461. Sedangkan besaran nilai kolerasinya adalah 0,679. Nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 yakni 0,05 maka menunjukkan ada pengaruh pesantrenisasi (X) terhadap motivasi hidup Islami mahasiswa (Y).

Abstract

Being a superior education institution is the hope of every educational institution, not exception in Islamic education. In the midst of competition between these institutions, Islamic education should be able to respond to changes quickly if it does not want to displaced and dead. Each of Islamic educational institutions that have certain characteristics to be able to be the strength and foundation to become a superior institution. Knowlegde Management  as an approach which is based on the understanding that the task of the school is a good understanding of how and when the creation of knowledge should be supported, how to use the accumulated knowledge that has been created so that this knowledge can improve productivity. With the knowledge of their respective Islamic educational institutions and managed properly expected of Islamic educational institutions remained firm stand to become an institution of superior and competitive.

Abstract

Learning is the basic human need to know something, whether packed formally or not. There is not one method that is appropriate and certainly appropriate with all students. Students have their own learning styles between one another can’t be equated. Real memorable learning comes from the will of the heart, not coercion. The uniqueness of each individual is what makes the variety of learning styles should be understood so that each student can overcome difficulties learning. In the implementation of learning many teachers doesn’t understand the learning style, so as to force students to always pay attention to the speech and explanation of teachers. The learning process will be effective if the method of learning  used can accommodate students. Research on the most appropriate teaching methods turns out to be a failure, because each teaching method depends on the way or style of the student in learning. This research was conducted in the school as a place of observation (field research) by using a quantitative approach. Data were collected by questionnaires, observations, interviews, and document studies which were then processed and analytically analyzed descriptively. The results of research showed that a class can not be equally aligned using and applying a single learning method only. Because in the class there are several learning styles of students. The student's learning style visually dominates the class, followed by the auditorial style, and the kinesthetic style. This research also provides advice to educators / teachers to understand the diversity of student learning styles. so that with the basic teachers are required to be more creative and innovative in applying the method of learning so that all learning styles of students can be accommodated, so that with this understanding of learning achievement can be improved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of distance learning policies during the pandemic on Islamic education learning, the opportunities and challenges for Islamic education teachers at SMPN 1 Kretek. This study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and observations of Islamic education teachers at SMPN 1 Kretek. The impact of online learning policies makes teachers understand technology for learning media, understand student barriers in online learning, and provide solutions for students. What is done by SMPN 1 Kretek for learning is to use SMARTJITEK. SMARTJITEK is a special e-learning for SMPN 1 Kretek schools accessed via the web using the internet. However, even though they already have e-learning, Islamic religious education, the Whatsapp platform is used to provide convenience in the teaching process. The results of this study show that the implementation of distance learning PAI teachers must be alert and innovate so that the implementation of learning is carried out well.

Abstract

Bangsa Indonesia yang semakin besar tidak luput dari kemajuan teknologi informasi ini, walapun pada umumnya berada pada tataran konsumen/pemakain yang kalah jauh dari negara tetangga yang sudah masuk pada tataran desainer teknologi dan produsen komponen-komponen informasi teknologi informasi terutama bidang komputer. Kemajuan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi telah mendorong terjadinya banyak perubahan, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan yang melahirkan konsep e-learning. Integrasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi pada pendidikan di madrasah meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di madrasah dan kemudahan dakwah. Dampak adanya integrasi teknologi informasi dan komunikasi pada pendidikan adalah mendorong percepatan computer literacy pada masyarakat Indonesia. Dunia teknologi informasi kini memberikan banyak pilihan kepada semua orang. Tak terkecuali Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (GPAI). Misalnya e-dukasinet/pembelajaran berbasis internet, penggunaan telematika, e-learning, blog, multimedia resources center, teknologi pembelajaran melalui komik, dan vidio conference. Ada beberapa contoh pemanfaatan teknologi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran PAI yaitu : 1) teknologi audio; 2) teknologi visual; 3) teknologi visual-audio; 4) teknologi berbasis internet. Semua itu dapat digunakan GPAI dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan agama Islam

Abstract

Perjalanan bangsa ini tidak lepas dari nama KHA Dahlan yang mendirikan Muhammadiyah. peran besar Muhammadiyah dalam pembangunan bangsa tercermin dalam segala sendi kehidupan bangsa. Fondasi gerakan Muhammadiyah atas telaah Dahlan dalam membaca teks al-Qur’an dan konteks Sosial Kauman saat itu, membawa perubahan besar bagi Indonesia dan Dunia. Jumlah amal usaha bidang pendidikan mencapai ribuan dan tersebar keseluruh pelosok negeri. Capaian ini jelas secara kuantitas sangat membanggakan. Hal ini bisa menjadi tantangan dan peluang. Tantangan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan Muhammadiyah dan peluang untuk basis perkaderan Muhammadiyah. pendidikan Muhammadiyah memiliki empat fungsi, yaitu: Pertama sebagai sarana pendidikan dan pencerdasan, Kedua, pelayanan masyarakat, dakwah amar ma’ruf nahi munkar dan Keempat, lahan kaderisasi. Misi pendidikan Muhammadiyah tersebut sekaligus menjadi solusi dan respon terhadap keringnya ruh keagamaan dalam pendidikan, Muhammadiyah memiliki ciri khas yaitu pendidikan al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan. Dua hal itu menjadi ciri khas sekaligus solusi dalam mengisi kekeringan ruh spiritual dalam pendidikan, baik pada pendidikan dasar dan menengah maupun pada pendidikan tinggi di Muhammadiyah. Seluruh Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah (AUM) pendidikan harus melaksanakan pendidikan al-Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan sebagai fondasi pendidikan. AIK yang sudah berjalan pada lembaga Muhammadiyah harus di vitalkan kembali fungsinya. Sehingga empat peran dan misi pendidikan Muhammadiyah dapat berjalan seperti yang di cita-citakan. Revitalisasi AIK didasari oleh realitas yang menganggap kurang begitu pentingnya AIK di pendidikan Muhammadiyah. semangat yang kian melemah itu perlu segera kita respon positif. Revitalissi berarti, pertama, mengadakan AIK bagi yang di perguruan Muhammadiyah belum ada, kedua, memvitalkan kembali fungsi AIK yang sudah berjalan. Dengan mempertimbangkan beberapa aspek. Tujuan pendidikan Muhammadiyah yang dalam grand Desain rencana yang akan mendorong terwujudnya Indonesia yang berkemajuan harus dimulai dengan revitalisasi AIK di perguraun Muhammadiyah.

Abstract

Globalization which is overgrowing in various fields, has many impacts. The most often impact in the spotlight is related to character issues. As one of the agents of change and character control, educational institutions respond by implementing character education programs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of strengthening character education from the "tadzkiroh" perspective on the religious character of students. This research approach uses quantitative associative evaluative research methods. From the research population at Muhammadiyah 1 Wates Vocational School, samples were taken from class XI, which amounted to 107 students, and then a sample of 84 students was taken. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling and proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively in frequency analysis and cross tables and inferentially including correlation analysis and linear regression. The results showed that the level of character education in Tadzkiroh's perspective was effective with 69%, while the level of students' religious character was in the high category with 79,8%. The relationship between tadzkiroh perspective character education and students' religious character is quite significant with a correlation coefficient value of 0,507 or is in the medium category. The contribution of Tadzkiroh's perspective character education in predicting students' religious character is 25,7%, while the remaining 74,3% is contributed by other variables not examined in this study.

Abstract

Ideally, for junior high school, students can read the Qur'an even though the reading is still haltingly. However, reading the Qur'an is one of the severe problems faced by junior high schools that exist today. One of them is at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan. Most of the students have not been able to read the Qur'an, even though SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan is one of the schools that is integrated with the Tahfidz PCM Kalasan House. As the landscape spearhead, teachers must have various strategies and methods to overcome these problems. So that the main program of the school to become a school that prints hafidz Al-Qur'an can be realized as well as possible. A good strategy and method will support the success of overcoming difficulties in reading the Qur'an. The purpose of this study was to find out strategies and innovative learning methods to overcome difficulties in reading the Qur'an at SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Kalasan. This study uses a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach. The data in this study using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are related to innovative learning strategies and methods to overcome difficulties in reading the Qur'an, including drill method/spelling practice, peer tutoring method, active learning strategy, and one-day one-page iqro' strategy. These strategies and methods are used step by step, starting from the initial to the final stage with a link system.
