Abstract

Utilizing learning materials that meet the requirements with the content of activities in learning activities is a form of teacher's efforts to create learning that actively develops student development. One form of teaching material that teachers can use is an activity-based learning module. The mentoring activity for the preparation of activity-based learning modules aims to improve the ability of teachers to develop activity-based modules as mentoring teaching materials for students at SD Muhammadiyah Sapen Yogyakarta. The number of teachers who participated in this activity was 92 teachers. Activities are carried out through several stages, namely activity-based learning module workshops, assistance in the preparation of activity-based learning modules, and evaluation of the results of activity-based learning module preparation. Based on the data obtained after participating in mentoring activities, they are in an outstanding category, where as many as 122 activity-based learning modules are declared feasible. The learning modules prepared by the teachers have been implemented in learning activities for the odd and even semesters of the 2021/2022 school year.

Abstract

Online games that are overgrowing and a favorite of children have had positive and negative impacts. The existence of the media causes many problems. If parents are negligent in supervising children, it will undoubtedly result in game addiction. Children who are already addicted to online games will experience several accompanying effects. These effects affect children's motivation, learning achievement, and social skills. Even though these things should exist in children in their current development period, this study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the intensity of online games and parents' attention to the social skills of elementary school children. This type of research is quantitative research with a survey method. The subjects of this study were 246 elementary school students spread across the city of Yogyakarta. Sampling from the study population was carried out using a proportional random sampling technique, namely the method of taking samples from members of the people using random methods without regard to strata in the population. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis technique using Regression statistical techniques. The study's results stated that the relationship between online games and social skills, parental attention and social skills, and the relationship between the two towards social skills were fragile.

Abstract

Learning motivation and learning environment have an important influence on student learning success. This study aims to analyze the correlation between learning motivation and learning environment with the learning outcomes of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) learning outcomes of Grade 5 students partially and simultaneously. The research population was 287 students, the sample was taken using the simple random technique with the Slovin formula resulting in 165 students as sample. This study used a quantitative approach. Data was collected by questionnaires and documentation techniques. The validity of the items was obtained from the product moment correlation. Furthermore, the reliability of the items was obtained by using alpha formula. Simple linear regression analysis and multiple regression analysis were used to analyzed the data after the researchers conducted prerequisite analysis tests including normality tests, multicollinearity tests, and linearity tests . The results of this study shows (1) there is a significant positive correlation between learning motivation and Pancasila and Civic Education’s learning outcomes; (2) there is a significant positive correlation between the learning environment and Pancasila and Civic Education learning outcomes; (3) there is a significant positive correlation between learning motivation and learning environment with Pancasila and Civic Education of Grade V elementary school’s students.

Abstract

The many demands in designing mathematics learning mean that some teachers and prospective mathematics teachers are unable to carry it out well. This research aims to analyze the relationship between students' skills in compiling mathematics teaching modules and their skills in carrying out learning variations. This research uses quantitative methods. A total of 3 classes with a total of 106 students were the subjects of this research, namely students. Researchers used purposive sampling technique. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. The quantitative data analysis technique uses the Pearson Product Moment correlation test. Based on the research results, it was found that as many as 23% of students were able to compose the teaching module as a whole well. The skill of preparing teaching modules has a positive correlation with the skill of carrying out learning variations. Based on the Pearson Product Moment correlation test, the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05, with a Pearson Correlation value of 0.840. This shows that there is a very strong correlation between the skills in preparing teaching modules and the skills in creating variations. Students who prepare teaching modules, especially the core components of good learning, have a fairly calm demeanor when carrying out learning simulations. When performance is calm, variations in learning can be seen. Practicing students will be able to make learning more interactive.
