Abstract

Thisresearch tries to analyze the implementation of religious character education in history subjects among Grade X IIS students at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Religious character education is essential in shaping a generation that excels not only in knowledge and skills but also in moral integrity. The study takes a descriptive qualitative method, gathering data through observation, interviews, and recording. The findings reveal that history teachers have effectively designed and implemented learning activities based on religious values using lesson plans (RPP), while also cultivating religious habits among students, such as reciting the Qur"™an (tadarus), praying together, and demonstrating respectful behavior in the classroom. The school also supports character development through various programs rooted in Islamic values. However, challenges remain in implementing religious character education, particularly due to the limited instructional time for history subjects, which is only two hours per week. This constraint reduces the teacher's ability to consistently monitor students' religious behavior. As a solution, the history teacher and the school have developed a historical excursion program to visit historical sites, including places of worship, to instill religious values in a contextual manner. Overall, implementing religious character education at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak is progressing well but still requires strong collaboration among teachers, the school, students, and parents for optimal outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the history of Prince Kuning's struggle against the Dutch colonialists during the Tebidah War in 1856-1857. The method used is a historical research method consisting of topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation, historical writing. The research approach used by researchers is sociology, because it involves the royal family, social layers of society such as the Dayak and Malay tribes. Research results: Ade Hasan, whose title is Pangeran Kuning Suryapati or better known to the public as Prince Kuning, was a figure opposing Dutch colonialism in the 19th century. The spirit and courage of the Yellow Prince were embedded and burning. Together with the Dayak and Malay tribes in Nanga Kayan, Prince Kuning opposed Dutch colonialism which was marked by the Tebidah War which occurred in 1856-1857. The role and values that Prince Kuning instilled in fighting Dutch colonialism were deeply embedded in the Sintang people. Prince Kuning had shaken the position of the Dutch government which at that time ruled the land of the Sintang Kingdom. So with their nationalist attitude, the people of Sintang honored Prince Kuning with the erection of the Prince Kuning Statue Monument in the city of Sintang.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess and apply pedagogical principles in the development of academic websites at Universitas Tanjungpura's Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (FKIP). The primary focus of this study is the application of the "mendorong kemandirian mahasiswa" principle in the context of student-centered learning. The method used is a kualitatif deskriptif with a focus on case studies, supported by observational, wawancara, and system analysis techniques based on the laporan pengembangan anjungan informationasi FKIP 2024. The study's findings indicate that an interactive, informative, and well-structured website design enables students to access and understand academic information independently without causing undue hardship to staff. The findings of this study indicate that the application of pedagogical principles in the design of academic information systems can enhance the use of technology as a teaching tool and a way to help students learn. Abstract

This study aims to examine the dynamics of Singkawang City's development in the 20th century. This development was marked by the growth of various urban infrastructures that supported the economy and population mobility, causing the city to transform from a traditional city into a colonial city. This study employs a qualitative method using literature review, drawing on written sources such as books, journal articles, and various studies previously conducted that are related to Singkawang City. The findings of this study indicate that the transformation of Singkawang City from a traditional city to a colonial city was marked by the Dutch beginning to build infrastructure, establish administrative governance, and implement policies within the city. The growth of Catholic missionaries during this period also brought changes to Singkawang City, particularly in the fields of education and health, as they helped build various facilities such as Catholic churches, schools, and hospitals. The transition from a traditional city to a colonial one did not erase the multicultural identity of Singkawang's society, as the changes occurred primarily in infrastructure and government administration.

Abstract

Abdul Kadir Gelar Raden Temenggung Setia Pahlawan merupakan seorang Pahlawan Nasional yang berasal dari Kalimantan Barat. Abdul Kadir merupakan pemimpin dalam peristiwa Perang Melawi dalam perlawanan antara Pasukan Belanda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejarah tentang perjuangan tokoh Pahlawan Nasional serta penyebab dan dampak dalam peristiwa Perang Melawi tahun 1867-1875. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan metode penelitian sejarah yang terdiri dari Pemilihan Topik, Heuristik, Verifikasi, Interpretasi, dan Historiografi. Selain itu, dalam penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode pengumpulan data Penelitian Perpustakaan (pustaka). Pendekatan yang penulis gunakan adalah pendekatan Sosiologis dan Politik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Abdul Kadir merupakan salah seorang pejuang yang tidak ingin Belanda ikut campur dalam wilayah kekuasaannya. Perlawanan yang terjadi di Melawi tersebut dicatat dalam Ensiklopedi Nederlandsch-Indie . Penyebab awal terjadinya perang tersebut didasari oleh kebijakan-kebijakan yang terdapat di Kesultanan Sintang di Wilayah Melawi perlahan berubah seiring dengan adanya keterlibatan Belanda. Hal tersebut pada akhirnya membawa dampak berkepanjangan yang dirasakan oleh rakyat maupun pihak Kesultanan dari bidang sosial, politik, hingga ekonomi.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu membuat serta mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian dan pengembangan (RnD) dengan menggunakan metode Rapid Aplication Development (RAD). Adapun teknik pengambilan data menggunakan wawancara dan angket yang dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah guru sejarah SMA dan Siswa/i SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Pontianak. Dengan sampel penelitian responden guru 6 orang dan 30 Siswa/i kelas X. Hasil pengembangan media ini melewati pengujian yang dilakukan dengan Ahli Desain Media, memperoleh nilai 92% sehingga memiliki kategori sangat layak dan pengujian yang dilakukan dengan Ahli Materi, memperoleh nilai 96% sehingga memiliki kategori sangat layak. Hasil ujicoba di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Pontianak pembelajaran sejarah menggunakan media ini, responden guru sejarah memperoleh nilai 81,3% sehingga memiliki kategori sangat layak dan responden siswa/i memperoleh nilai 83,3% sehingga memiliki kategori sangat layak. Kesimpulan penelitian ini, peneliti menghasilkan media pembelajaran baru berbasis virtual reality yang disajikan dengan aplikasi yang digunakan dan teknis yang telah dibuat. Hasil penelitian media ini memberikan dampak positif dan dampak negatif.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada pelestarian kesenian wayang kulit di Kampung Arang Limbung, Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Wayang kulit adalah salah satu budaya daerah yang mencerminkan jati diri bangsa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data diperoleh dari hasil observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa, pertama, wayang kulit telah ada di Kampung Arang Limbung selama kurang lebih 50 tahun, dibawa oleh seniman. Kedua, dalam upaya pelestarian kesenian wayang kulit, dibentuklah sanggar baru, yaitu Sanggar Hamiluhung yang berarti mulia atau agung. Sanggar ini didirikan pada tanggal 19 September 2019 dengan tujuan melestarikan kesenian Jawa, yaitu wayang kulit, di Kampung Arang Limbung. Hal ini sejalan dengan krisis identitas bangsa terhadap budaya daerah. Pelestarian dilakukan dengan memperkenalkan kesenian wayang kulit melalui media sosial, pelatihan bagi siswa SDN 15 Sungai Raya. Ketiga, hambatan yang dirasakan dalam pelestarian kesenian wayang kulit adalah penggunaan bahasa dan fakta bahwa dalam era globalisasi, budaya asing lebih dikenal daripada budaya daerah.

Abstract

Nama Bambang Ismoyo (BI) hanya lekat sebagai sebuah nama jalan di sudut Kota Singkawang. Bahkan disebagian peserta didik sosok pejuang ini masih dianggap asing. Perjuangan BI sebagai salah satu komandan Badan Pemberontak Indonesia Kalimantan Barat dan anggota Lasykar Fisabillah yang merebut Bengkayang dari tangan Belanda pada 9 Oktober 1946 perlu menjadi frame dalam materi sejarah di sekolah utamanya tingkat sekolah dasar. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk (1) mengintegrasikan narasi perjuangan BI dalam pembelajaran IPS sejarah di sekolah dasar, (2) bagaimana guru melakukan refleksi atas narasi perjuangan BI bagi siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa integrasi materi dilakukan oleh guru yakni dengan mentautkan narasi sejarah dan nilai perjuangan BI dengan materi yang ada di buku tematik untuk kelas VI, kedua guru telah melakukan refleksi seperti rela berkorban, cinta tanah air dan menumbuhkan jiwa patriotik pada materi yang telah terintegrasi narasi perjuangan BI.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the preservation of oral traditions Baroah Dayak Kanayatn. This study uses qualitative research with ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis was conducted in three stages, namely data reduction, Data presentation, and Conclusion/verification. The results of this study indicate that the oral tradition of Baroah is still carried out by the Dayak Kanayatn community in Ayo Gundaleng Hamlet, Sengah District, Temila, Landak Regency. The efforts of the Dayak Kanayatn community in preserving the oral tradition of Baroah are routinely carried out every year. With routinely carried out every year, makaq small possibility of this tradition can be forgotten by future generations. Because they are directly involved and witness the stages of implementation. In addition, efforts to preserve the oral tradition of Baroah certainly can not be separated from the role of traditional leaders such as Temenggung, Pasirah, and Panyangahatn as well as the community to jointly preserve the tradition. Where their role to preserve the oral tradition of Baroah can be done by paying attention to culture or tradition, inviting, providing guidance, and direction. And understanding to the next generation to maintain the oral tradition of this Baroah in order to continue to run.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to design comic-oriented instructional materials for IPAS subjects intended for fourth-grade elementary school students, which has been validated by subject matter experts and design experts, as well as to determine its level of practicality based on responses from teachers and students. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, although it was only conducted up to the implementation stage. The limited implementation involved 15 students from class IVA at SD Negeri 36 Pontianak Kota. Data collection instruments included validation sheets by subject matter and design experts, along with feedback questionnaires from teachers and students. The validation results from the subject matter expert yielded a feasibility score of 100%, while the design expert provided a score of 94%, indicating that the teaching material is highly feasible for use. Teacher responses showed a practicality percentage of 94.64%, and student responses reached 85.33%, both of which fall into the "very practical" category. Therefore, the comic-oriented teaching material is considered valid and feasible for use for use in IPAS learning for fourth-grade students.
