Abstract

The North Padang Subdistrict Office, as a government service agency, is in the public spotlight because of the various problems it faces. One of the main problems is the inadequate capacity of the apparatus in administering government. Apparatus who are less skilled and do not have adequate knowledge often become obstacles in carrying out their duties, so that efficiency and effectiveness in public services are hampered. Apart from that, the lack of sub-district apparatus resources to support the optimization of the implementation of activities is also a significant problem. In this research, the approach chosen is a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The population used in this research were all employees at the North Padang District Head Office, consisting of approximately 83 people. This population includes 75 civil servants, 6 contract workers, and 1 volunteer. The research results show that a leadership style that is oriented towards collaboration, empowerment and active participation from various parties has a very important role in overcoming public service problems at the North Padang District Head Office. In addition, the participatory leadership implemented by the North Padang Subdistrict Head has strengthened the relationship between the government and the community, as well as increasing the level of public trust and satisfaction with the public services provided.

Abstract

This article was a reflection from experiences of Community Service program among younger generation in Padang Laweh Malalo Village at Tanah Datar Regency. This program was intended to increase the understanding, awareness, and skills the younger generation to the importance of preserving the traditional arts of randai as one of the cultural heritages and at the same time the potential and tourist attraction that has been neglected all this time. This program was inspired by various conditions that indicated the lack of interest, awareness, and skills of the younger generation in preserving this randai art, while on the other hand traditional randai art could be used as an attraction and is a potential for cultural tourism that can be packaged and adapted to the current context. On the other side, the preservation of traditional art like Randai in the face of massive globalization required a comprehensive and multi-faceted approach. This approach included efforts such as documentation, education, partnerships, adaptation, youth engagement, and policy development. Based on this phenomena, various coaching, training and management programs had been done to improve the abilities and skills of the partner groups, especially the youth group who were members of the "Sanggar Seni Salapan Suku" group at Kenagarian Padang Laweh Malalo Tanah Datar, both in terms of knowledge and skills, in order to increase the professionalism of youth groups and it is hope that they could become pioneers and motivators for other youth generations in the development of traditional randai arts.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low participation of the job satisfaction State Civil Apparatus in Matur Distric, Agam Regency. There are stiill many problems that occur to the state civil apparatus in Matur Distric due the large number of civil servants who fell dissatisfied with their work , and so that the work they do is not optimal anymore. Therefore, the goverment of the Matur District of Agam Regency is expected to pay more attention to the level of integrity of the state civil apparatus so that the existing agencies in the Matur Distric so that the job satisfaction of the state civil apparatus can be increased and maximized. This research was carried out in several institutions such as the sub-district office, the rekigious court office and the agricultural office in the Matur Distric, Agam Regency. The data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations and questionnaires. Based on the results of the research and discussion it was found that integrity has a significant influence on job satisfaction of state civil servants in Matur Distric, Agam Regency. Abstract

Jurnal ini membahas tentang Dampak Gaya Kepemimpinan terhadap Kualitas Pelayanan Pegawai di Kelurahan Anduring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk implementasi penerapan gaya kepemimpinan yang dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Anduring, untuk mengkaji kualitas pelayanan publik di kelurahan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat serta memaparkan kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan publik di Kelurahan Anduring. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode penelitian kualitatif yang hasil akhir dari penelitian berupa tipologi atau mengenai suatu dampak dibahas pada jurnal ini. Adapun instrumen penelitian yakni observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dengan teknik analisis data berupa analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah hasil wawancara dengan pegawai kelurahan dan masyarakat yang ada di Kelurahan Anduring. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan bahwasanya penerapan kepemimpinan, kualitas pelayanan serta kepuasan masyarakat saling berkesinambungan yang membawa dampak dalam melaksanakan kinerja yang baik dalam melayani masyarakat. Dari hasil ini dapat disimpulkan Gaya Kepemimpinan yang harus dilakukan Lurah terhadap pegawai lurah untuk mencapai tujuan yaitu Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana strategi kepemimpinan camat dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di Kecamatan Batang Anai Kabupaten Padang Pariaman, sekaligus mengetahui tentang berbagai kendala atau permasalahan yang muncul dalam upaya peningkatan kinerja pegawai tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif yang menjabarkan penelitian berdasarkan penggambaran keadaan yang sebenarnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pegawai di Kantor Camat Batang Anai, dengan Teknik Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara pada Kepala Camat beserta tiga kepala divisi dan sekretaris camat yang ada di Kantor Camat Batang Anai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepemimpinan yang digunakan Camat Batang Anai dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai adalah dengan beberapa poin penting yang meliputi : (1)strategi penempatan pegawai dengan mengutamakan keahlian dan kedisiplinan, (2)strategi pengambilan keputusan melalui musyawarah, dan (3)strategi pemberian perintah melalui sosialiasi awal dan dilandaskan oleh kemampuan pegawai. Strategi yang diterapkan sejauh ini masih menemui beberapa kendala sehingga perlu mendapat penanganan yang lebih lanjut, agar dapat optimal dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di Kantor Camat Batang Anai.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the launch of the Tourist Destination System (SIDETA) application by the Padang City Tourism Office in 2021 as an effort to increase the number of visits by local and foreign tourists in Padang City. This research was conducted with the aim of describing the implementation and optimization of the SIDETA application at the Padang City Tourism Office. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through field studies using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this research describe that overall SIDETA is still in the development and optimization stage in its application as an information system in government agencies. Based on the stages of E-Government implementation proposed by ASPA (American Society for Public Administration), SIDETA implementation is at the interactive stage. Furthermore, in 2023, through collaboration with the Padang City Communications and Information Service, the SIDETA application was transformed into a website that can be accessed via the page https://pariwisata.padang.go.id/ which contains home features, city profile features, service features, destination features tourism, event features, culinary and shopping features, features about fields, publication features and video features. Based on the E-Governance theory according to Djoko Agung Harijadi, there are 6 obstacles in implementing SIDETA in the Padang City Tourism Office, namely communications infrastructure, funds, human resources, culture, regulations and leadership. The efforts to optimize the implementation of SIDETA are carried out by the Padang City Tourism Office, namely socialization related to SIDETA which is handed over to tourism awareness groups directly under the auspices of the Padang City Tourism Office so that they become agents who socialize and promote SIDETA to the wider community in addition to promoting tourism in their own area.
