Abstract

Indonesia has recently witnessed a significant increase in the number of automobiles, reaching an estimated 17.2 million units by the end of 2022, according to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). Extensive ownership and usage of vehicles in public parking areas, including campuses, have created a high demand for parking spaces. However, challenges still exist within the parking system, such as longer search times for available parking spaces and the lack of technological regulation, leading to uncertainty. Our research focuses on addressing these issues by employing a priority-based greedy algorithm for the nearest lift, prioritizing convenience and speed. We utilize an SQL database to store parking data, leveraging its comprehensive features for efficient processing. The result of this research is a website where customers can input their license plate numbers, processed by our algorithm to generate parking tickets, granting access to designated parking areas. The algorithm works by providing parking slot locations from even-numbered floors first; when all even-numbered floors are filled, it will then allocate parking slots on odd numbered floors. The implementation of the greedy algorithm and SQL database has proven to be efficient in the context of the nearest lift in the Binus parking lot, handling a manageable amount of data and prioritizing data processing speed over achieving the optimal solution in all scenarios

Abstract

In the rapidly digitizing landscape of healthcare feedback, online reviews have become a vital source of patient-reported experiences. This study leverages sentiment analysis to decode the narrative content of Google reviews for Mother and Child Hospitals in Jakarta. Utilizing the VADER sentiment analysis tool and GloVe for keyword extraction, the research aimed to correlate qualitative sentiment with quantitative star ratings. This study meticulously processed and analyzed a selection of Google reviews using VADER for sentiment scoring and GloVe for refining the focus on relevant healthcare discussions. This methodological approach allowed for a comprehensive sentiment assessment of the reviews. The analysis revealed a prevalent positive sentiment in higher-rated reviews and negative sentiment in lower-rated reviews, with notable anomalies that underscore the complexity of patient experiences and perceptions. Specific aspects of care, including staff behavior, facility quality, and treatment efficacy, were recurrent themes in the feedback. These findings highlight the potential of patient-reported experiences in shaping healthcare practices and policy. The study emphasizes the importance of healthcare providers understanding and responding to patient feedback to improve care quality. Limitations such as the representativeness of online reviews and the challenges of sentiment analysis in capturing nuanced emotions are discussed. This study offers valuable insights into patient perceptions of maternal and pediatric care in Jakarta, affirming the significance of leveraging online reviews for healthcare quality monitoring and improvement

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of the Mind Mapping method in the teaching of Islamic Cultural History (SKI) at MAN 3 Solok as an effort to improve the learning outcomes of 11th-grade students. Low student participation and difficulties in understanding the material necessitate innovative strategies to create a more engaging and effective learning environment. To address these challenges, this study employs a qualitative approach using Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology. The research follows several stages, including initial observations, lesson planning, the implementation of the Mind Mapping method, and an evaluation of its effectiveness. Data collection techniques involve classroom activity observations, documentation of student progress, and interviews with both students and teachers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the method’s impact. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students’ learning outcomes after implementing the Mind Mapping method. In the pre-cycle stage, the average student score was only 44.94, with a mastery level of 8%. After the first cycle, the average score increased to 70.04, with a mastery level of 42%. In the second cycle, the results improved further, with an average score of 85.95 and a mastery level reaching 86%. These findings demonstrate that the Mind Mapping method effectively enhances students' comprehension and engagement in SKI learning. This study contributes to the field of education by providing empirical evidence of the effectiveness of Mind Mapping in Islamic studies, encouraging educators to adopt student-centered learning methods to enhance understanding and critical thinking skills. Additionally, this research has practical implications for curriculum development, particularly in integrating visual and interactive techniques to promote active learning in history education.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the prohibition to carry out learning activities at the TPA during the new normal, causing parents to only be able to foster children's prayer at home, even though not all parents have the understanding in teaching prayer to children as children get when studying at home. TPA, so that in the process the parents experienced several problems. Like some parents are not firm when ordering their children to pray so that children underestimate it, children also do not have knowledge about the terms and pillars of prayer even though at this age the child must be taught about this before he is ordered to pray. This research is a type of field research, which is a research that is carried out systematically by picking up existing data in the field, explaining and describing the situation and phenomena more clearly regarding the situation that occurs, using a qualitative approach. The results showed that the methods parents used were the habit method, the exemplary method, the advice method and the punishment method. The average development of reading/prayer movement movements has not worked well, where children only know the prayer movements but there are still many improvements to the prayer readings.. The obstacle faced when coaching prayer worship is that children sometimes feel lazy and tend to like playing games on their cellphones until forgetting time, lack of understanding of parents in teaching children about praying at home, busy parents working during the day so they can't monitor their children.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the author's curiosity from the efforts of PAI teachers in implementing HOTS at SMA N 1 Kinali. Because SMA N 1 Kinali already uses the 2013 curriculum, it is possible that the school does not implement HOTS-based learning or apply students' higher-order thinking skills. Because high-level thinking skills can be interpreted as an effort made by the teacher in improving students' thinking patterns to a higher level, able to think critically, creatively and able to solve a problem. Based on the author's observations that 1) students are still passive in the learning process and class activities are only dominated by smart children, 2) in making questions the teacher uses more questions that are applying or just writing so that the questions are analytical, evaluation and creative. rarely appears, 3) students' ability to think critically and creatively is still lacking, this can be seen when students carry out discussions depending on one person who is able to answer in their group. However, in terms of student scores, the category is sufficient. The type of research that the author does is descriptive qualitative. Methods of data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Informants in this study focused on PAI teachers as key informants while students and their surroundings as supporting informants. The results of this study indicate that the forms of PAI teachers' efforts in developing HOTS at SMA N 1 Kinali can be seen from the planning, implementation and evaluation forms applied in the school. lesson plans that must be prepared by the teacher are preparing materials/materials and formulating lesson plans. In the RPP there are several HOTS indicators such as analyzing, evaluating and creating, the application of these indicators can be seen from the learning objectives and the steps of the learning activities used. Furthermore, the implementation of learning is carried out using HOTS learning activities including the application of strategies such as models, methods and media that support various kinds such as critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, communication and literacy used by teachers when carrying out the learning process. Meanwhile, teacher evaluation uses various forms of questions and the assessment also varies. So the conclusion is, PAI teachers at SMA N 1 Kinali have been able to fully develop HOTS as desired in the 2013 and 21st century curriculum.  Keyword: PAI Teachers' Business Forms in Developing HOTS
