Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between the availability of financial reports and planning in MSMEs and to design a simple financial report preparation processing model for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), as well as to provide practical recommendations regarding financial report models that can be immediately implemented for MSME business planning so that business continuity can be maintained. This study is a quantitative and quantitative study using primary and secondary data collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation of 13 respondents of MSMEs assisted by Dharma Wanita of Politeknik Negeri Medan. Data were analyzed using product moment and descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a strong relationship between the availability of financial reports and MSME planning of 0.979 in the range of 0.80-1.000 (Very Strong). The MSME Financial Report Model using the MSME SAK Standard is adequate for MSME financial management. The application of financial reports in MSME planning involves utilizing information sourced from the financial reports to develop business plans, including sales, production, capital, and profit planning.

Abstract

The issues faced by Lecturers and Students of Islamic Education (PAI) at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar include the suboptimal understanding in preparing teaching materials during field learning practices in schools. Considering the importance of interactive learning media to assist the learning process in schools, there is a need for training in creating interactive video-based learning media through training activities. This training is conducted with the aim of enhancing the knowledge and skills competence of Lecturers and Students of PAI at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar as prospective teachers who require skills in creating interactive digital-based learning media. This community service activity is carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method through training activities involving Lecturers and Students. The implementation consists of three stages: (1) pre-activity, (2) activity implementation, and (3) evaluation of the implementation. The results of this activity indicate an improvement in the competence of lecturers and students of Islamic education at UIN Mahmud Yunus Batusangkar in utilizing technology to support the learning process, particularly in creating creative, innovative, and interactive learning videos.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of the Webtoon application as a learning medium and to examine students’ perceptions of its use in reading comprehension skills of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri 6 Bengkulu Tengah. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques consisting of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included one English teacher and eight eleventh-grade students who were selected through purposive sampling. The findings indicate that the use of the Webtoon application as a reading learning medium has a positive impact on students’ reading comprehension skills. Webtoon can increase students’ interest, motivation, and engagement in the learning process. Visual support in the form of images, character expressions, and storylines helps students understand the reading content, identify main ideas, comprehend new vocabulary, and follow the storyline coherently. In addition, students showed very positive perceptions of the use of Webtoon because the learning activities became more interesting, enjoyable, and less monotonous. However, this study also identified several challenges in using Webtoon as a learning medium. These challenges include limited internet access, which occasionally disrupted students’ ability to access the application; limited storage capacity on students’ devices, which prevented some students from installing the application; and students’ tendency to focus more on visual elements than on the reading text itself. Nevertheless, these challenges did not significantly hinder the learning process, as they could be addressed through clear instructions, continuous guidance, and effective classroom management by the teacher. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Webtoon application is an effective, relevant, and practical learning medium to support students’ reading comprehension skills at the secondary school level.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process of implementing the Wattpad application as an English learning medium for reading comprehension among students at SMA Negeri 6 Bengkulu Tengah, to analyze students’ perceptions of the use of Wattpad as a learning medium for reading comprehension, and to identify and analyze English teachers’ perceptions regarding the challenges and opportunities during the implementation of Wattpad in reading comprehension instruction. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through classroom observations, interviews, and documentation involving one English teacher and eight eleventh-grade students selected through purposive sampling. The results indicate that Wattpad is used as a learning medium that supports reading activities through the selection of reading texts tailored to students’ proficiency levels and interests, followed by discussion activities and reading comprehension tasks. Students showed positive perceptions toward the use of Wattpad because the reading texts were considered more engaging, contextual, and easier to understand compared to those found in textbooks, thereby enhancing students’ engagement and motivation in reading. From the teachers’ perspective, the use of Wattpad provides more opportunities than challenges, particularly in supporting digital literacy and helping students comprehend reading texts in a more natural way through various instructional activities such as identifying main ideas, discussing vocabulary and moral values, and creating summaries. Nevertheless, several challenges were identified during the implementation, including limited internet access, differences in students’ language proficiency levels, and the need for careful selection of reading materials. Overall, with appropriate teacher guidance and suitable selection of reading materials, the Wattpad application can be used as a relevant learning medium to support English reading comprehension skills at the secondary school level.

Abstract

Penerapan teknologi informasi (TI) saat ini, menjadi salah satu aspek penting sebuah perusahaan untuk dapat bersaing di era digital saat ini. Salah satu tolak ukur keberhasilan dalam menerapkan teknologi informasi adalah efektifitas dan efisiensi proses bisnis perusahaan secara menyeluruh. Random forest sebagai salah satu algoritma dalam machine learning yang mempunyai akurasi tinggi dan mampu mengrangi risiko overfitting dipilih untuk menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan dalam berbgai bidang keilmuan. Melalui metode Systimatic Literature Review (SLR), penelitian ini mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis 55 artikel terkait yang memberikan gambaran mendalam mengenai penerapan algoritma Random Forest dalam berbagai bidang keilmuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan berbagai tantangan penerapan algoritma random forest dalam berbgai bidang keilmuan, mulai dari optimasi dengan pemilihan berbagai parameter serta mengkombinasikan algoritma random forest dengan algoritma yang lain. Perlakuan tersebut disesuaikan dengan kondisi dan karakteristik data dan objek yang di teliti, dengan harapan diperoleh perhitungan yang paling optimal dan mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terjadi pada bidang tersebut. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini tidak hanya memberikan panduan praktis, akan tetapai memberikan kontribusi pemahaman yang lebih mendalama mengenai peneraan algoritma random forest dalam mengatasi permasalahan dalamberbgai bidang keilmuan

Abstract

Public financial management requires regional organizations to use budgets efficiently to support organizational goals and public services. In practice, local governments need to implement budget efficiency policies to improve the quality of spending while maintaining the financial performance of the organization. This study aims to analyze the implementation of budget efficiency policies and their implications for financial performance at the Bantul Regency Civil Service and Human Resource Development Agency. The study uses a qualitative descriptive approach to examine the implementation of budget efficiency policies and their impact on organizational financial management. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation of twelve informants involved in budget management at the agency. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing with validity testing using source and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of budget efficiency policies encourages more selective spending, strengthens expenditure control, and improves alignment between budget planning and realization. These conditions contribute to improved organizational financial performance and strengthen the accountability of regional financial management. These findings indicate that the implementation of appropriate budget efficiency policies can improve the effectiveness of financial management and support the implementation of performance-based budgeting in local government agencies.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate an Arduino-based system for monitoring water quality using NodeMCU ESP8266 to measure Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), Electrical Conductivity (EC), and water temperature in fish farming in buckets (Budikdamber). Budikdamber monitoring has never been done in real-time with TDS–EC–temperature at the same time, as well as analyzing the influence of fish density variations on water quality dynamics. ADDIE's development model is used through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The prototype was validated and calibrated with standard instruments, and its accuracy was tested using Pearson, MAE, RMSE, and MAPE correlation. The results showed a high measurement agreement between the prototype and the standard tool, with Pearson correlation values of 0.907 (TDS), 0.973 (EC), and 0.936 (temperature), respectively, signifying the high validity and precision of the measurements. Regression equations result in an effective calibration model to correct measurement bias. water- quality dynamics & density effect to Observations of various fish densities indicate that an increase in the number of fish increases TDS, EC, and pH fluctuations and also affects the thermal characteristics of the water. Regression analysis showed that fish density was a strong predictor of increased TDS (R² = 0.9098) and EC (R² = 0.8988). The study concluded that the prototype is feasible to be used for real-time monitoring and that the ideal density of Budikdamber ranges from 55 to 70 heads per 80-liter bucket to maintain water quality stability. Water management: the safest and optimal time to change pool water is in the afternoon, around 5:30–7:00 PM, with a waiting period of 4-5 days, offering a scalable physics-based monitoring framework for micro-aquaponics systems

Abstract

This study aims to provide a more in-depth analysis of laboratory utilization at SMAN 5 Metro. The research employed a qualitative approach. The object of this study was SMAN 5 Metro, with class XI students and physics teachers as the research subjects. Data were collected through three techniques: observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis was conducted both during and after the data collection process. The analysis technique used was data triangulation, which involved comparing findings from the three data sources (observations, interviews, and questionnaires). Based on the results of the data analysis, it can be concluded that practicum activities at SMA Negeri 5 Metro are still conducted in the classroom, with teachers bringing practicum tools into the classroom to demonstrate and carry out experiments. In addition, practicum implementation has not been optimal due to improper laboratory utilization, the use of laboratory spaces that do not align with their intended functions, and the absence of laboratory assistants or technicians. These personnel are essential for managing laboratory administration, including maintaining inventory records of tools and materials, handling equipment loans, and organizing tools and materials according to their types and characteristics.
