Abstract

Education keeps on changing. This change is an implication of the change of all aspects of life in the society. Like wise, education in Indonesia must change along the changes of life in the so-ciety. This study describes social-cultural and economic change which took place due to political instability. It also analyses the impact of such change to education.

Abstract

Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran pengorgani­sa­si­an dan mutu pen­di­dik­andi SD In­pres Bangkala II Kota Makassar, dan untuk mengetahui pe­nga­ruh pengorganisasian terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan di sekolah ter­sebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pen­de­kat­an kuantitatif dengan metode expost fac­to. Sampelnya adalah 17 tenaga pendidik dan ke­pendidikan dari SD Inpres Bang­kala II Kota Makassar. Data diperoleh melalui instrumen angket dan do­ku­mentasi, dan dianali­sis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Ha­sil pe­nelitian menunjukkan bahwa peng­or­ganisasian di SD Inpres Bangkala II Ko­ta Makassar menunjukkan hasil yang belum maksimal atau berada pada ka­te­go­ri rendah (58,82%) dan mutu pendidikan menunjukkan hasil yang baik yang ber­­ada pada kategori sedang (100%). Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan peng­or­ga­ni­sa­sian berpengaruh terhadap pe­ning­katan mutu pendidikan sebesar 50%. Ini ber­ar­ti bahwa mu­tu pendidikan ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Faktor-faktor tersebut ada­lah pe­rencanaan, pelaksanaan dan faktor evaluasi pembelajaran.Abstract:This research aims at knowing the description of the organizationality and the quality of edu­cation in the elementary school of Inpres Bangkala II Makassar and knowing the effect of organizationality toward the education quality im­prove­ment in the school. This research was a quantitative approach using expost facto method. The sam­ple was 17 teachers from the elementary school of Inpres Bang­ka­la II Makas­sar. The data were collected using a questionnaire and docu­men­tation, and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the research showed that the organizational structure of the school was in the low category (52,82%) and the quality of education was in the medium category (100%). The result of reg­res­sion analysis showed that the organizational structure influenced the educational quality improvement of the school with 50% con­tribution. This means that the qua­lity of education of that school was determined by other factors. Those fac­tors were planning, implementation and evaluation.

Abstract

Abstract:The essence of human creation in Islamic perspective refers to the text of the Koran in terms of khalaqa (creating) and ja’ala (making). Both elements can grow through the educational process. This perspective points that humans are naturally pedagogical beings with the potential for education. This paper aims at elaborating the essence of humans as pedagogic creatures, both in Islamic and Western views. This study relied on library research for its findings. The information was gathered from a variety of books and papers on the subject. In the Islamic view, the level of education development, along with the pedagogical process that initiates it, involves informal, formal, and non-formal education. However, in the Western view, there are two categories, namely navitism and behaviorism.Abstrak:Hakekat penciptaan manusia dalam perspektif Islam dengan merujuk pada nash Alquran pada istilah khalaqa (menciptakan) dan  ja’ala (menjadikan). Kedua unsur itu dapat berkembang melalui proses pendidikan. Perspektif ini menyatakan bahwa manusia secara fithrawi disebut sebagai makhluk paedagogiek dengan potensi untuk dapat dididik dan dapat mendidik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hakekat penciptaan manusia sebagai makhluk paedagogiek, baik dalam pandangan Islam maupun Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan. Data pada penelitian ini diambil dari berbagai buku dan artikel yang berkaitan dengan topik tersebut. Dalam pandangan Islam, tingkat perkembangan pendidikan manusia, seiring dengan proses paedagogis yang mengintarinya meliputi pendidikan informal, formal, dan non formal. Sedangkan dalam pandangan Barat, ditemukan dua kategori yaitu paham navitisme dan paham behaviorisme.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis Software GeoGebra pada materi geometri yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan mengacu pada model 4D oleh Thiagarajan yang telah dimodifikasi yang terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop), dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate). Produk yang dikembangkan yaitu media pembelajaran matematika berbasis Software GeoGebra. Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII A SMPN 5 Enrekang dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi ahli, angket respon sisiwa, angket respon guru, lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa, dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa (1) Hasil validasi media pembelajaran yaitu M=3,5, RPP M=3,56, LKS M=3,62, dan THB M=3,55 yang berarti “sangat valid”. Adapun hasil validasi petunjuk penggunaan media yaitu M=3,28, lembar pengamatan aktivitas siswa M=3,44, angket respon siswa M=3,37 yang berarti “valid”, dan angket respon guru M=3,37; (2) Praktis berdasarkan analisis data respon siswa terdapat 80% siswa yang memberi respon positif, sedangkan guru memberikan respon positif 100%; (3) Efektif berdasarkan pengamatan aktivitas siswa dalam pembelajaran dalam kategori sangat baik yakni 80% dan tes hasil belajar berada dalam kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 76,75 dari skor ideal 100. Oleh karena itu, pada tahap uji coba yang dilaksanakan, media pembelajaran matematika berbasis Software GeoGebra pada materi geometri telah memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis, dan efektif.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are to 1) describe the application of the learning model of Market Place Activity (MPA) in biology materials and 2) describe the advantages and disadvantages of the learning models. It was a literature study (library research) of the systematic literature review (SLR) type. There were three stages used in this review: 1). Identification. All the articles searched by Google Scholar, ResearchGate, and Academia databases. There were 158 articles found across all databases. 2). The screening process. After screening the identified articles, there were 38 of them. 3). Eligibility. The feasibility determined with the inclusion criteria to achieve five articles. It appears that the application of the learning model of Market Place Activity MPA) can facilitate activities and improve students' biology learning outcomes. Even though the learning model can enhance the student's ability to become active, it is time-consuming. This study suggests that the classroom can run effectively and efficiently if the applied model meets the needs of learning and timing.

Abstract

This study aims to study the level of student satisfaction in terms of the ability of lecturers and learning facilities in the Department of Islamic Education Management of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training UIN Alauddin Makassar. This research is a quantitative descriptive with employing survey model. The population in the research was 243 people with 24 sample.  The data were collected using a questionnaire with Likert Scale. The results showed that the satisfaction of MPI students in terms of lecturer performance was satisfactory category, based on four indicators: learning planning in the satisfactory category, the implementation of learning was very satisfying category, learning outcomes was quite satisfactory category, and guidance and direction was unsatisfactory category. MPI Study Program student satisfaction in terms of Learning facilities in the category was quite decisive, based on four indicators: lecture rooms according to the category are quite satisfactory, chairs and desks are less satisfactory, blackboards/blackboards were quite satisfactory, and learning media were quite satisfactory.

Abstract

This study will discuss stakeholder’s satisfaction with the performance of KI/MPI graduates at the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of UIN Alauddin Makassar. Then try to find out the criteria that stakeholders want. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this study were MPI program graduates who were in the district. Jeneponto, Kab. Selayar, Kab. Pinrang, Makassar City, Kab. Barru, and the City of Parepare. The technique used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale instrument. The analysis used is descriptive quantitative. The criteria that the stakeholders want for graduates of the Islamic Education Management Study Program (MPI), Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Alauddin Makassar are: (1) responsibility; (2) productive; (3) target orientation or results; (4) high motivation; (5) patient and work hard; (6) think and act positively; and (7) maintain relationships with peers.

Abstract

This article examines the relevance of entrepreneurial education at Islamic State University Alauddin Makassar, which organize to encourage the student's intention of business interests. This article applied a combination method of multiple linear regression analysis and scale ranges based on Likert Scale instruments. The sampling method is cluster sampling, with the population coming from students spread across various faculties at Islamic State University Alauddin Makassar. The study results showed that their entrepreneurial interest intentions were significantly and positively influenced by their knowledge level about entrepreneurship and the learning process that applied entrepreneurial practices. However, the student’s definition of entrepreneurship interest at Islamic State University Alauddin Makassar is still in the moderate category. It is influenced by the not optimal application of the entrepreneurial project-based learning process, which was carried out by all lecturers who gave lectures on entrepreneurship courses that caused the students not to get the entrepreneurship experience in their learning process. On the other hand, the learning process with project-based learning media provides a direct experience to students who can help the graduates' rates. Therefore, higher education should be able to create an ecosystem that can motivate the development of business actors among students.

Abstract

Ilorin is blessed with many Islamic scholars engaged in da'wah activities, earning the town the proverbial title of Ilu Alfa (the seat of erudite Muslim scholars). Islamic scholars face significant challenges in adhering to Islamic principles and religious proselytization. Sheikh Alfanla Okutagidi's da'wah activities in Ilorin were noticeable in Islamic propagation in Ilorin Emirate. The study aims to examine the role of Sheikh Alfanla Okutagidi in spreading Islam in the Ilorin Emirate, Kwara State, North-Central Nigeria. A qualitative methodology was adopted to achieve this objective, which relied on primary and secondary sources, including observation, oral interviews, and literature. The study revealed that he started Islamic propagation using the Qur'an and hadith to pass the message of Islam. He was strictly against western education. To keep Islam in the entire Ilorin Emirate, he waged war against paganists, foodstuff sellers, and alcohol sellers. Therefore, Sheikh Alfanla Okutagidi made significant contributions to the growth and, to a large extent, eradication of paganism in the Ilorin Emirate with fanaticism. Thus, fanaticism and radicality should be omitted from the da'wah activities since Islam has no compulsion, so it will not threaten the community's peace.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran matematika siswa kelas XI MA YPPI Kabupaten Bulukumba dengan penerapan pemberian tugas. Populasi dalam pengabdian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MA YPPI Kab. Bulukumba yang berjumlah 52 orang dan terbagi menjadi 2 kelas. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Kelas eksperimen adalah kelas XIa sebanyak 27 siswa, yang menjadi kelas kontrol adalah kelas XIb sebanyak 25 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes essai sebanyak 5 soal, dan analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif diperoleh rata-rata post-test kelas eksperimen 83,06 dan rata-rata post-test kelas kontrol 72,48. Sedangkan hasil analisis inferensial dalam pengujian hipotesis data menunjukkan nilai thitung lebih besar daripada nilai ttabel (3,38>1,68) dan rata-rata hasil belajar kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibanding rata-rata hasil belajar kelas kontrol, dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan pembelajaran pemberian tugas efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika pada siswa kelas XI MA YPPI Kab. Bulukumba. Abstract The dedication of this study were knowing the in crease in student learning out comes in mathematics Class XI students of MA YPPI, Bulukumba Regency with the implementation of assignments. The population in this study were all students of class XI MA YPPI Kab. Bulukumba, amounting to 52 people and divided into 2 classes. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling technique. The experimental class was class XIA with 27 students, the control class was class XIB with 25 students. The instruments used were 5 essay tests, and the data analysis used was descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis showed that thepost-test average for the experimental class was 83.06 and the post-test average for the control class was 72.48. While the result sofin ferential analysis in testing the data hypothesis show that the t-count value is greater than the t-table value (3.38> 1.68) and the average learning out comes of the experimental class are higher than the average learning outcomes of the control class, thus it can beconcluded that the use of learning assignment is effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes in class XI MA YPPI Kab. Bulukumba.
