Abstract

The current reality is showing that the communities surrounding Cibodas Biosphere Reserve (CBC) are still doing horrible things, as evidenced by the fact that they are still taking the resources from the forest or illegally entering the area. In this case, the Forest Police (Polhut) who have responsibility for maintaining forest security, need to act to minimize disturbances in the forest area. This study aims to obtain an overview of Polhut’s communication patterns in dealing with disturbances at the Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (TNGGP) as the core area of ​​the CBR. This study used a qualitative method through a phenomenological approach with the communication effectiveness theory. The information-gathering was conducted through an in-depth interview with two Polhut TNGGP officers who have been experienced for more than ten years in their duties. The information was processed according to the communication methods and theories. The results showed that the communication pattern conducted by the Polhut to the communities used persuasive interpersonal communication and group communication. Polhut realized that they must be close to the communities so that they can invite them to act a role in protecting forest resources. However, the communication has not been effective because there are still some obstacles to the communities and some of the supporting factors for the effectiveness of communication have not been fulfilled.

Abstract

Local branding memiliki peran penting dalam memperkenalkan suatu lokasi, termasuk wilayah Jatigede. Ciri khas dan keunikan yang dimiliki oleh suatu lokasi dapat menjadi modal pembentukan local branding. Keberadaan local branding dapat menjadi inspirasi dalam pengembangan objek wisata yang dikemas dengan baik, salah satunya melalui media komunikasi berupa proposal sponsorship. Namun, tidak semua masyarakat mengetahui cara membuat proposal sponsorship yang berbasis local branding. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pembuatan proposal sponsorship berbasis local branding desa di lingkungan kecamatan Jatigede. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan pelatihan yang diikuti oleh para tokoh masyarakat, aparat desa, dan tokoh pemuda yang berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta pelatihan dapat: (1) mengetahui dan memahami materi local branding; (2) mengidentifikasi potensi pembentukkan identitas local branding objek wisata; (3) membuat kerangka proposal sponsorship pembentukkan local branding objek wisata kawasan Jatigede Sumedang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta telah dapat membuat kerangka proposal sponsorship berbasis local branding yang mendukung pada pengembangan objek wisata Waduk Jatigede.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the sports marketing landscape. Social media has become one of the effective marketing tools to reach new audiences and increase sports fan engagement. This research aims to analyse sports marketing strategies in the digital era by optimising the use of social media. The research method used is a literature study and case analysis of several sports organisations that successfully utilise social media in their marketing strategies. Data was collected from various sources such as scientific journals, articles, and official websites of sports organisations. The results show that social media offers many opportunities for sports organisations to connect with a wider audience, build brand awareness, and increase fan engagement and loyalty. Effective sports marketing strategies in the digital age include the use of engaging multimedia content, the utilisation of influencers and brand ambassadors, and data analysis to understand audience preferences. In addition, collaboration with social media platforms can also increase the reach and visibility of sports content. The conclusion of this study is that social media has become an important marketing tool for sports organisations to reach new audiences and increase fan engagement in the digital age. Sports organisations need to design marketing strategies that are integrated with social media to achieve effective marketing goals.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the extent of the relationship between the credibility of speakers in stock investment education programs and employee attitudes towards company shares. This research uses Source Credibility theory. The method used is the Correlational Method, through the Spearman Rank (rs) hypothesis test with descriptive and inferential analysis techniques. The respondents for this research were 64 people who were selected based on simple random sampling techniques. The data collection techniques used were questionnaires, interviews and literature study. The results of this research show that the credibility of the stock investment education program speaker has a strong relationship with employee attitudes with an rs coefficient of 0.638 and a sig of 0.001 < 0.05. This is caused by the speaker's trustworthiness, the speaker's expertise, and the speaker's positive appeal and is related to changes in employee attitudes. The conclusions of this research show that the speaker's trustworthiness with employees' opinions, perceptions, affective and actions has a moderate relationship, the speaker's expertise with employees' opinions, perceptions, affective and actions has a moderate relationship, and the speaker's attractiveness with opinions, perceptions, affective , and employee actions have a strong relationship.

Abstract

Live streaming is a new phenomenon and is an effective digital marketing strategy to attract consumer attention and encourage purchasing decisions. This article aims to analyze the influence of cognitive responses to e-commerce live-streaming advertisements on purchasing decisions. The research was conducted using quantitative methods. Data was collected through a survey of 96 respondents who had made purchases on Shopee e-commerce and watched live streaming. Data testing uses Path Analysis with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis techniques through the Partial Least Square (PLS) process. The research results show that cognitive responses to live-streaming advertisements have a positive influence on purchasing decisions through attitude as a mediating variable with a value of 0.564 or 56%. This is in line with the assumptions of cognitive response theory, namely how consumers process information from advertising and how this cognitive response influences their attitudes and purchasing decisions. Consumer cognitive responses are obtained through consumer thoughts about products, consumer thoughts on information sources and consumer thoughts on advertising. These factors will lead to the formation of attitudes, both attitudes towards the brand and attitudes towards advertising, with the final stage being the purchasing decision. The findings in this article provide a practical impression for e-commerce business people to focus on improving the quality of content and interactions between business people when live streaming is taking place.

Abstract

Sungai Citarum, penopang hidup di Jawa Barat dan DKI Jakarta, terancam oleh sampah dan limbah, menyebabkan penurunan kualitas air dan risiko kesehatan. Program Citarum Harum, tindak lanjut dari Citarum Bestari, diterapkan oleh Pemerintah Indonesia melibatkan Satgas Pengendalian Pencemaran DAS Citarum. Keberhasilannya memerlukan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dan lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Tantangan melibatkan faktor internal dan eksternal, seperti pendidikan rendah dan kurangnya tempat sampah. Revitalisasi Sungai Citarum membutuhkan perubahan perilaku masyarakat, dengan edukasi sebagai kunci. Implementasi pengelolaan sampah di masa depan harus memperhatikan aspek penting dan kampanye media untuk meningkatkan kesadaran. Strategi pengelolaan sampah di DAS Citarum memerlukan upaya serius untuk mencapai target di desa prioritas, dengan sinergi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan lembaga pendidikan tinggi. Secara keseluruhan, Bank Sampah Desa di DAS Citarum memberikan kontribusi positif yang signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat dan keberlanjutan lingkungan.

Abstract

The workshop that raised the issue of "One Waste a Thousand Disasters" became an important thing for the people of Mekarmukti Village, Cihampelas District, West Bandung Regency in an effort to eliminate environmental pollution around the Citarum river basin. The purpose of the workshop in the Community Service (PKM) program is to find out and practice household and small business waste management through the liquid fertilizer-based waste treatment tool "ROSDA" and the fish farming tool "BUDIKDADRUM" which can produce selling value that is delivered communicatively and interactively. The result of this wokrshop program is an increase in community knowledge and skills about the economic value of household and small business waste in the Mekarmukti Village environment as well as increasing public interest in trying to process tofu, tempeh and pindang fish product waste independently

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh Kebijakan Perpres No.95 Tahun 2018 tentang peraturan Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (SPBE) serta Sumedang yang memiliki nilai indeks SPBE rendah dan dihadapkan dengan tiga disrupsi, di antaranya pandemi, digital, dan milenial. Latar bekakang inilah yang mendorong Kota Sumedang diharuskan untuk membuat sebuah inovasi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi city branding melalui Program Sumedang Happy Digital Region yang dilakukan oleh Diskominfosanditik. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif yaitu sebuah metode yang menjabarkan fenomena atau keadaan sosial dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi kepustakaan. Teknik penentuan key informant adalah purposive sampling dan teknik validasi data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi data/sumber. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan program city branding menekankan kelebihan Kabupaten Sumedang serta melakukan kerja sama dengan Provider Jaringan untuk mendukung identitas sebagai Kabupaten Digital, nominated outcomes atau tujuan yang ingin dicapai ialah meciptakan sistem e-government untuk meningkatkan reputasi kota.  Tidak hanya itu, Kota Sumedang juga mendorong adanya peningkatan pelayanan publik digital untuk menarik investor, sehingga dapat meningkatkan perekonomian, dan menarik wisatawan ke Kabupaten Sumedang. Dalam upaya menyebarkan informasi  menggunakan komunikasi on air dan off air, coherence atau tindakan yang dilakukan untuk mendukung program yaitu melalui tools berupa aplikasi atau website yang dapat diakses yaitu E-office, E-office Desa, dan Tahu Sumedang.

Abstract

Abstrak Ketahanan pangan menjadi isu utama dalam kondisi perubahan iklim dunia saat ini yang tidak menentu. Panjangnya musim kemarau tahun ini (2023) akibat badai El Nino telah menjadikan dunia terlanda bencana kekeringan. Hal ini pula yang melanda kawasan Indonesia, khususnya di wilayah pulau Jawa yang terkena bencana kekeringan sehingga ada beberapa kabupaten/kota yang dinyatakan sebagai status bencana daerah. Terkait dengan hal tersebut, sistem pertanian yang menyokong pada ketahanan pangan menjadi terganggu akibat terancam gagal panen. Begitu juga dengan wilayah desa Cilembu yang dijadikan sebagai sentra produksi Ubi nasional mengalami dampak kekeringan. Untuk dapat membantu dan sebagai upaya mengantisipasi kondisi tersebut, Tim PKM Universitas Padjadjaran melakukan kegiatan aktivasi program ketahanan pangan yang berbasis masyarakat dan kearifan lokal. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mengenai pemanfaatan lahan terbatas dalam program aktivasi ketahanan pangan pada kelompok tani “Pangkalan” Desa Cilembu Kabupaten Sumedang. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi dan workshop pelatihan tanaman hidroponik yang diikuti oleh para anggota kelompok tani “Pangkalan”. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta program aktivasi ketahanan pangan dapat: (1) mengetahui dan memahami materi pentingnya katahanan pangan yang berbasis kearifan lokal; (2) mengidentifikasi potensi pemanfaatan lahan terbatas untuk menghasilkan jenis tanaman sayuran yang layak dikonsumsi; (3) membuat media tanam hidoponik. Adapun kesimpulan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta telah dapat membuat media tanam berupa hidroponik berbasis tanaman sayuran yang mendukung pada pengembangan ketahanan pangan masyarakat di wilayah Desa Cilembu.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the relationship between the presentation of clarification information about the Recycle Station program on the Instagram account @mamaserbabisa and netizens' attitudes toward Sociolla. The study tested the information integration theory to understand the extent of the relationship between the valence and weight of the clarification information about the Recycle Station program and netizens' cognitive, affective, and conative attitudes toward Sociolla. This research used a quantitative method with a correlational approach and Spearman Rank correlation test. Data collection techniques included questionnaires and literature studies from books, online journals, and other secondary references. The respondents of this study were 98 accounts that liked the post about the Recycle Station program on the Instagram account @mamaserbabisa, selected through simple random sampling. The results of this study showed that the presentation of clarification information about the Recycle Station program had a strong and significant relationship with netizens' attitudes.
