Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor yang memberikan nilai dan manfaat bagi peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat dan mempengaruhi sektor lainnya. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan identifikasi potensi wisata dan sumber daya yang ada untuk memudahkan penyusunan konsep perencanaan dan pengembangan pariwisata yang juga harus mempertimbangkan dampak positif dan dampak negatif yang dihasilkan. Dampak positif akan berpengaruh pada perekonomian masyarakat sedangkan dampak negatifnya adalah kerusakan alam dan perubahan budaya pada masyarakat. Pengembangan pariwisata perlu melibatkan masyarakat dalam mengelola keunikan dan kondisi daerah yang ada. Open Pit Nam Salu merupakan salah satu objek wisata eks tambang yang memiliki potensi menarik. Sebagai tambang timah terbesar di Asia Tenggara, kawasan objek wisata ini memiliki terowongan bawah tanah yang menjadi salah satu kegiatan yang menarik wisatawan yang berkunjung. Setiap pengunjung wajib mengikuti protokol keselamatan dan kesehatan yang ada. Obyek wisata Open Pit Nam Salu saat ini dikelola oleh Bapopnas (Badan Pengelola Open Pit Nam Salu). Dalam pengembangan kawasan ini ada beberapa kendala yang dihadapi diantaranya sarana dan prasarana serta keterbatasan sumber daya manusia pariwisata dalam mengelola kawasan ini. Penulis melakukan penelitian pengembangan kawasan ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilakukan melalui Bapopnas, pengembangan pariwisata kawasan ini sudah menunjukkan perubahan yang terlihat dengan adanya pembangunan sarana dan prasarana, promosi dan pemasaran melalui media sosial dan keikutsertaan dalam kegiatan pelatihan.

Today's tourist villages have become the choice of tourist destinations. By adding a more dynamic variety of destinations in a tourism area. Developments in tourist villages will have an impact on the economy of a village area, namely increasing the income of rural communities. Sindangkasih Tourism Village and Situ Cangkuang Tourism Village located in Garut Regency have similarities in tourism potential from natural, historical, cultural tourism, to artificial tourism that need to be developed. The pentahelix model (government, academics, business people, communities, and mass media) has their respective roles in the development of the two tourist villages. This research aims to discuss the role of pentahelix actors in the development of tourist villages. Through qualitative research methods with data collection techniques direct observation, interviews with informants, and documentation. The potential of the Sindangkasih and Situ Cangkuang Tourism Villages needs to be developed and the pentahelix actors have a role in the development of the two tourist villages, but cooperation between the actors needs to be improved.

Pengembangan desa berbudaya lingkungan menjadi kegiatan berbasis masyarakat melalui keterlibatan dan partisipasi pemangku kepentingan dalam melestarikan lingkungan hidup. Sungai Citarum sebagai sungai terpanjang di Jawa Barat memiliki kondisi memperihatinkan akibat pencemaran lingkungan yang berasal dari limbah rumah tangga, limbah perkantoran, dan limbah industri. Limbah tersebut berdampak pada buruknya kualitas air dan tidak layak untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan sehari – hari, kondisi tersebut harus segera mungkin ditanggulangi guna mengembalikan fungsi Sungai Citarum sebagai sungai yang ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi komunikasi lingkungan yang dilakukan oleh kelompok penggerak pariwisata dalam mengembangkan desa berbudaya lingkungan di wilayah Daerah Aliran Sungai Citarum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksplanatif dan kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian menggambarkan dampak negatif di wilayah Daerah Aliran Sungai Citarum yang disebabkan oleh limbah industri, perkantoran, dan rumah tangga, serta mengidentifikasi keterlibatan kelompok penggerak pariwisata dalam kegiatan desa berbudaya lingkungan di wilayah tersebut. Pengumpulan data primer didapatkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan angket, sedangkan data sekunder melalui studi kepustakaan. Populasi mencakup seluruh kelompok penggerak pariwisata yang terlibat dalam pengembangan desa berbudaya lingkungan, sementara sampel yang diambil adalah fasilitator dan partisipan. Teknik analisis data statistik deskriptif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat 12 kelompok penggerak pariwisata yang tersebar di 17 wilayah Daerah Aliran Sungai Citarum, kelompok tersebut secara umum selalu melaksanakan aktivitas desa berbudaya lingkungan dengan tingkat kepuasan yang cenderung tinggi. Di sisi lain, kegiatan desa berbudaya lingkungan menjadi ajang dalam jejaring sosial antara kelompok penggerak pariwisata di wilayah Daerah Aliran Sungai Citarum dengan pihak eksternal.

Aktivitas komunikasi pada pasangan antaretnik Sunda-Minang dalam pembentukan identitas pada anakanaknya meliputi situasi komunikasi, peristiwa komunikasi dan kompetensi komunikasi. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, dengan perspektif penyesuaian identitas dan jenis studi etnografi komunikasi. Subjek penelitiannya adalah pasangan pedagang antaretnik di Kota Bandung yang dipilih secara purposif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, partisipasi pasif, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa aktivitas komunikasi anggota keluarga pasangan antaretnik terjadi saat di pasar, di rumah, saat santai bersama keluarga. Bahasa yang digunakan sehari-hari adalah bahasa Indonesia, etnik Minang lebih dominan bila di banding dengan adat Sunda. Sebagian besar kepala keluarga yang beretnik Minang cenderung memilih kompromi titik tengah. Dalam pengambilan keputusan etnik Minang memiliki ketegasan yang kuat, serta kemandirian yang mampu membentuk keluarga untuk bertahan di lingkungan yang baru. Kompetensi komunikasi yang ditemukan berupa reaksi dan kemampuan pasangan untuk mengatasi perbedaan sehingga penyesuaian searah menjadi alternatif pilihan para keluarga. Pola komunikasi meliputi komunikasi pasangan antaretnik, komunikasi transaksional orangtua dan anak, serta komunikasi sesama pasangan campuran.

This study aims to determine the tourist attraction and design a mapping model of the distribution of tourist attraction and amenity in Lunjen Village, Enrekang Regency by making a map of tourist attraction and amenity in Lunjen Village. This research model is applied so that the results can be implemented. Data collection was done through direct observation in the field accompanied by unstructured interviews and documentation. The result of the research is a map of the distribution of tourist attractions and amenities in Lunjen Village using ArcGis 10.8, which is used as an auxiliary medium for tourists in obtaining information about tourist attractions in Lunjen Village, Enrekang Regency. The conclusion in this study is the distribution of tourist attractions using ArcGis 10.8 can make it easier to see tourist attractions and amenity in Lunjen Village in the form of a map.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a phenomenon and strategies used by the company to accommodate the needs of stakeholder (Santoso, 2016). One of the agencies implementing CSR is KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat. The purpose of this research is to discover the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility in Bank Indonesia Mengajar Program by KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat. The method used in this research is descriptive study with qualitative approach and paradigm of positivistic. The technique of data collected by through in-depth interview, observation, documentation and literature study. This research showed that in the planning phase of Bank Indonesia Mengajar Program was in line with various aspects such as the program implementation regulation was listed in “Peraturan Dewan Gubernur No.14/14/PDG/2012 concerning about PSBI Program”, the vision and mission of Bank Indonesia. However, KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat was not doing a research as a part of planning phase. In implementation phase of Bank Indonesia Mengajar Program, has been running well. The obstacles in implementing program just only occurred in technical matters. In the checking phase, KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat do the checking with the form of a report and given the report to two parties, namely internal leaders and external stakeholder. Last in the evaluation phase, evaluation carried out after the program was done. The evaluation carried out in two forms, that is formal evaluation do in the form of meeting with leaders and non-formal in the form of discussions with the implementing team. However, in the evaluation phase stakeholder were not involved. Suggestion for KPw Bank Indonesia Jawa Barat, it would be better if they are do the research as a part of planning program and involves the stakeholders in the evaluation phase of Bank Indonesia Mengajar program.

Tourism communication currently tends to be online-based and refers to tourist behavior preferences. West Java as a tourism destination has a variety of online-based tourism communication. This study aims to identify the efforts of the Tourism and Culture Office of West Java in realizing West Java as a smart tourism destination through online communication and the Smiling West Java mobile application. The qualitative method is the approach in this study with primary and secondary data collection. The unit of analysis in this research covers the function of online communication media utilities and components of tourism destinations. This study uses qualitative analysis methods and content analysis methods and is complemented by descriptive qualitative analysis methods through data analysis before going to the field, data reduction, data presentation, and concluding. The efforts of the Tourism and Culture Office of West Java in communicating tourism through three main online media namely websites, social media, and mobile applications. Smiling West Java is a manifestation of smart tourism destinations owned by West Java and provides global scale competitiveness. Komunikasi pariwisata saat ini cenderung berbasis daring dan mengacu kepada preferensi perilaku wisatawan. Jawa Barat sebagai destinasi pariwisata memiliki berbagai komunikasi pariwisata berbasis daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi upaya Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Provinsi Jawa Barat dalam mewujudkan Jawa Barat sebagai destinasi pariwisata cerdas melalui komunikasi daring dan aplikasi seluler Smiling West Java. Metode kualitatif menjadi pendekatan pada penelitian ini dengan pengumpulan data data primer dan sekunder. Unit analisis dalam penelitian mencakup fungsi utilitas media komunikasi daring dan komponen destinasi pariwisata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif dan metode analisis isi dan dilengkap dengan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif melalui analisis data sebelum ke lapangan, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Upaya Pemerintah Provinsi Jawa Barat melalui Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan dalam mengkomunikasikan pariwisata melalui tiga media daring utama yaitu situs web, media sosial, dan aplikasi seluler. Smiling West Java menjadi manifestasi destinasi pariwisata cerdas yang dimiliki oleh Jawa Barat dan memberikan daya saing skala global.

Madura has beach comparative potential as a coastal tourist destination. However, in the marketing communications context, this potential has not been optimized. Therefore, this research aims to explore all the potential for integrated coastal tourism by using the Talagha acronym of Talang Siring, Legend, Jumiang, and Lembung branding identity as an alternative to marketing communication. The Talagha brand identity not only being as destinations acronym but also the equivalent of lake in Madurese. Research locations were conducted on four Pamekasan coastal tourism destinations in Madura, namely Talang Siring Beach, Jumiang Beach, Legend Beach, and Mangruve Lembung. Research population are visitors and residents around the destinations. Samples were obtained using accidental sampling. Based on target population characteristics, as two hundres samples were acquired. Data collection were conducted by survey and analyzed by using SPSS. The results show that Talagha tagline as a brand identity is agreed by majority respondents to be part of integrated tourism branding. The findings confirmed by branding strategies theory as a part of tourist destination marketing communications. This findings are expected to be a catalyst in brand identity usage in tourist destination marketing communications development. It is recommended these findings as literature in brand destination studies as well as reaches triple helix in developing policies brief related to Madura’s integrated coastal tourism branding.

COVID-19 has paralyzed the world tourism sector. Travel restrictions (land, air, and sea), quarantine policies by the competent authorities, and physical restrictions are the main factors for cessation of tourism activities. The tourism sector that relies on individual mobility is supported by transportation modes so that when this is limited, it will have an impact on decreasing tourist visits, occupancy rates and the cancellation of a number of festivals and events that are routinely held until in the end this condition has an impact on tourism sector income. This study aims to obtain an overview of the impact of COVID-19 on the income of the tourism sector in a number of countries. Through literature studies, it is hoped that sufficient information can be obtained so that it can be used as a consideration for tourism managers in developing the concept of sustainable tourism in the future.

This study aims to examine the developers' efforts, the community, and the government in dealing with sustainable tourism areas in the area of North Bandung. This study also seeks to find each institution's communication strategies to find out what kind of procedures can help develop sustainable tourism in the area. Researchers' method is the exploratory method to explore broadly about the causes that influence the occurrence of something. This exploratory research was conducted qualitatively to know the procedures adopted by the parties involved for the continuity of tourism in North Bandung. Causes of disruption of conservation: The natural tourism area in North Bandung is mainly due to the indifference of those who benefit from tourism's short-term benefits. By handling persuasive communication, integrative development emerged and began to be socialized with the community. Persuasive communication is an effective way to integrate agencies on one goal, namely, sustainable tourism development. What primarily drives this compelling communication activity is the existence of cross-sectoral programs carried out by various parties. The results of this study can provide useful information to help improve sustainable tourism programs in an area. This information can help the government, especially regional governments and the ministry of tourism, and the ministry of environment to be followed up concerning programs and human resources in establishing sustainable tourism areas.
